"If that is the case then I don't mind leaving these here, the tables and chairs I mean, perhaps as a gift? We could make this a regular thing where we sit and enjoy some tea together and catch the other up on the happenings of our lives."

Meilu would sip from her cup, once again enjoying it, a soft hum escaping her lips as she thought a little deeper on what was just said. The tea cup was set down on the tea coaster, one hand would rest against her chin while the other went into her lap.

"Hm. Now that I think about it, I am unsure how 'regular' I could keep these meeting since soon I intend to leave Liyue and explore Teyvat. I do not wish to make a 'promise' that I'm not certain that I can keep..."

She spoke honestly, the 'promise' being similar to an unofficial contract to Meilu, so breaking or not being able to uphold it was simply out of the question to the Adeptus Dragon.

❝ Interesting. And yes, I suppose even someone such as Rex Lapis would have to worry about some erosion. He is after all over 6,000 years old. ❞

Though he knew Rex Lapis was diligent and worked daily on making sure that nothing would erode away. And thus he was not surprised to learn that Meilu was just one of the ways that he would make sure to keep his perfect memory in tact.

Dan Heng smiled softly as she accepted the tea that had been offered. He was glad to know that this would be her first experience with it and it was a good one. No one was around to taint the memory of the tea in her mind.

He amusedly watched as she conjured a table and chairs for them to use. He brought over the teapot and his own cup as he sat down across from her.

❝ Adeptal Arts are very… helpful at times like these. ❞

He heard her approving hum and his smile widened a bit more. She liked it. That was good. That was really good. He liked to think that this tea would remind her of good times to wherever she sat off next after this.

“Yes. From our perspective as residents of the Express you managed to breach the entrance and boarded without permission and the feedback caused from such actions not only could have severely injured everyone on board but also rendered the engine useless. We would’ve likely ended up stuck here until the end of our days if the shockwave couldn’t have been redirected.”  She at least appeared to be genuine in her explanation, and at the moment that seemed to be the only thing she had going for her. What a strange situation this was looking to end up being, not to mention that apparent portal... magic?  Was there another species out there that had the ability to cross the threshold of the Tree? Was this someone who jumped from leaf to leaf or a bit further like himself?   “Alright, Miss Meilu, for now your story will be believed. As for the rest, unfortunately you don’t get a choice as to where you may be left if we decide to forcefully evict you from the train.” He sat back in a nearby chair and folded his hands. “Some of the others may suggest we take you to a nearby detention center, but I don’t believe you deserve that. As for the other part to why you don’t get a choice: this train is traveling on a pre-chosen route through the stars, and we’re not even sure where we’ll end up next. So very realistically you have just as equal of a chance to end up somewhere with extreme weather as you are somewhere that is relatively nice.” 

"A detention center? I see... clearly I wish to avoid that and worlds with extreme weather... I don't know how you or this universe views dragons but when I'm exposed to extreme elements of heat or cold, my body attempts to send me into hibernation. That unavoidable deep sleep makes things incredibly difficult for me to protect the world or its people if my body is forced into hibernation. Wouldn't you agree with me on at least that much, Welt?"

Meilu practically handed Welt a way to subdue her if necessary, she called it an unfortunate weakness as the Adeptus has met plenty of individuals she would consider 'dating' or 'mating' with that wielded those extreme elements of fire and ice. Another sigh escaped her!

"I'm not trying to undermine your authority or how things are handled upon this Express... All I'm asking is to allow me to stay long enough only until the trains destination reaches a world with weather that does not rob me of the main reasons I chose to make that blind jump through the portal in the first place. To find a place to call home and eventually start a family of my own and in exchange for that opportunity I will defend the planet and its people with everything I have, including my life if it means my mate and children survive--" her eyes averted, unfortunately Meilu was unable to find that in her home world but she was determined to make it work here.

"This request is NOT at all one sided , should the residents of this train allow it, I will do my best to make up for my terrible first impression and follow the rules from now on-- once I am made fully aware of them all. Rules and agreements are important to me and I do not make them lightly, my predecessor was known as the God of Contracts in my home world." She stopped herself from continuing, already saying enough - actions speak louder than words. If Meilu had to protect those from the Express that step foot on a new world just to find a 'home' for herself than she wouldn't hesitate.

Hi. I'm TJ and I'M SO DUMB!

When I first created Meilu as a muse... I made her 'mating season' three months long during the Australian SUMMER ( Start of December until the end of February ) and her BIRTHDAY January 1st to represent the opposites of her and Zhongli ( birthday December 31st ) the idea was that Zhongli represented the end of the year and Meilu was a 'frest start' to a year. PUNTS MY SENTIMENTAL SELF UP THE BUM!

No wonder she has been hornier than usual... my memory made me forget that my own muse, who wants a family of her own, is in the most fertile state to attempt to try for a biological family!

Who wants a kiss from a very pretty dragon lady? Unless they want more than just a kiss? *-eye zooms-*

Canon Divergence - Meilu

The main point of divergence is that Zhongli CREATED Meilu as an Exuvia; she is a separate 'body' from him. They exist at the same time with separate ideals, goals and personal interests.

Personality:

Meilu thoroughly enjoys pushing the 'boundaries' between femininity and masculinity; a 'feminine' curvy female body and a tone of voice that could catch others off guard by how 'deep' yet sultry she can create with full control over her own vocal chords.

Many would describe Meilu to be calm, polite, incredibly loyal and rather sentimental ( more tender towards others, especially children, in comparison to having feelings of nostalgia like her predecessors ) UNTIL someone annoys her in some way that is to where Meilu resorts more to animalistic responses - glares of golden glowing eyes, low growls that slowly intensify and verbal warnings in a deep rumble from her throat; dragon mode.

However, majority of the time Meilu portrays herself in public with elegance and grace and some times a 'motherly' atmosphere when communicating and greeting others. She can be incredibly soft spoken around children; knowing her voice could easily scare them.

Fashion wise, Meilu thrives in wearing traditional clothing of Liyue design ( Chinese inspired ) the only time you won't see her wear such clothing is if she intended to TRAVEL and tends to wear a repurposed ARCHON outfit ( see travel attire below ) as it is better insulated to protect her from outside elements - extreme heat or cold; as it can put her into a state of hibernation.

Abilities:

Meilu will always be an Elemental Dragon of the GEO element; even if she prefers standing at a distance while using Adeptus Arts as support - or even hand to hand combat to deal with 'opponents' quickly if she is feels the situation calls for it.

She, like other Adepti of the Mountains, has her own domain/abode created for a multitude of reasons. Like storing her belongings as Meilu travels fairly regularly; it has no fixed point of entry as the 'domain' is similar to the Serenitea Pot - the object to open her domain is small and Meilu keeps it a secret to 'trick' observers to think she is opening it using only her thoughts.

Another ability that Meilu has 'mastered' is simply called a 'memory stone' that mixes her natural ability to create gems of GEO with an secret/lost Adepti Art that fits perfectly with an ability she gained from her predecessor which is the ability to walk through someone's dream... only this 'connection' is deeper than a dream as she can view an individuals memories with an spiritual imbued bite from her jaws - the firmness of the bite depends on if the person is mortal or not.

The results. A stone imbued with her powers and the individuals memories permanently stored within. It is actually Meilu's own form of a contract; she claims no ownership of someone else's memories nor will she reveal what has been seen without the persons permission in exchange! The stone will resonate if the individual is in danger - if they have it on them somewhere at the time! - and Meilu will show up and offer assistance to the person who held the stone.

Character Story + Voicelines:

Created, before Zhongli traded his Gnosis to the Fatui in the form of a contract with the Tsaritsa, instead of born by natural birth or 'dragon' egg of sorts ~ Meilu has many internal struggles as a result. Mainly Imposter syndrome, as she has ALL of her creators memories and powers but very few that were created by personal experiences - her few months/years of life compared to over 6,000+ of knowledge and experience. As a result, Meilu wishes to travel and find her own place in the world - either in Teyvat or an entirely different universe!

I have so many memories of him and the other Yaksha from my predecessor but I've never met them myself and have had little contact with Xiao himself since my creation... is he perhaps avoiding me due to his loyalty to the former Liyue Archon?" About Venti: "I'm not the 'old friend' that Zhongli is to them and I hope they know that. I would like to get to know 'Venti' but only if they wish to get to know me." About Tartaglia: "A powerful mortal with abilities that causes him harm. I do wish he would put more thought before resorting to his Foul Legacy transformation. My personal goals simply didn't match up." About Yanfei: "I often observe the Harbor from a high vantage point as my dragonic senses, especially hearing, make it easy to watch from afar. So I have witnessed how Yanfei handles herself with the public and I'm always impressed by the strategies she implements to maintain a balance between fairness and the law when dealing with even 'mundane' cases. The giant book is also precious ~" Hobbies: "It has taken me some time to figure out what I enjoy enough since my creation. My main hobby? I suppose the official term would be Gemology. I hope my answer doesn't disappoint you?" Favorite Food: "I simply adore Tianshu Meat ~ It may look 'heavy' and overly 'fatty' but it really isn't... would you like to try some?" Least Favorite Food: "I have no gag reflex but when I was first served 'A Prize Catch' by Tartaglia my throat wished that I had one-- hm? You didn't know that about me? Oh-- my apologizes ~" Birthday: "Happy Birthday, would you allow me to spend the day with you? We don't have to do anything extravagant if you don't wish to make a 'big deal' of this special day of your original birth."

Trivia:

In game: Meilu would have a 4 piece Archaic Petra set as her artifacts. Why? Because she doesn't like sitting around behind a shield; Meilu is essentially a 'rush' switch character and will allow her team mates to create an openly for her to buff the team.

She scales off of ATK not HP, sue her-- I mean fight me!

Weapon wise; Meilu's preferred 5 star option would be Vortex Vanquisher but her go to 4 star option would be Prototype Starglitter!
