Hi welcome to my Dan Heng rp blog! I go by Iris/Jess. She/Her Pronouns for ooc. I'm in my 30s. This is an 18/21+ only rp blog.

Under the cut are my rules (again mostly due to my laziness, I don't wanna make a doc or caard and this is the fastest way).

This itself explanatory, but treat people how YOU yourself would want to be treated. I will not tolerate ANY type of hate towards anyone. if I see it (in the form of anon hate, hate in general or callout posts) I will block. This is a hobby. Remember that. • Due to a certain SOMEONE not being able to just let me live in peace in the same RPC, I have posted a callout against them here. Honestly I DID NOT WANT to post it, I originally wrote it for catharsis, for healing, however after the events of 8/12/2024 it’s come to my attention that this person will never let me live in peace. I do not want to be blamed by them for "stalking" or "poaching their mutuals/clients" or any toxic/manipulative behavior they claim I have when I've done nothing of the sort. I'm tired of the manipulation and the guilt trips, the gaslighting, them refusing to take responsibility for their own actions and behavior. This callout is the ONLY one I will post, because it affects me greatly. I do not want to talk to them, I don't want to try and mend fences with them. I've tried over in the past YEAR AND A HALF to make them see how much they hurt me, but they just cover their eyes and ears and refuse to listen. Their apology and past apologies are fake as they don’t actually acknowledge all the harm they’ve done and caused.

This blog's activity is medium-high. But I do have other blogs in other RPCs. No I will not be giving them out. Discord is quicker than Tumblr IMs I've found in the past so if you need me, ask for my discord. But if you don't have discord then I can do Tumblr IMs, just expect some delays because of the lack of notifications.

I like shipping (who honestly doesn't lbr), but please let's have chemistry between the muses first. I can ship hetero, homosexual or polyships. No big deal. NSFW/Smut will only be presentable for those muns who are 18/21 and over. I do not want minors on this blog, I'm sorry. That's just how it is. Obviously, dark themes will occur so I will be tagging any and all triggers for those who do get trigged by stuff like smut or by dark themes. • Another thing: because I multiship, EVERY ship is in its own little bubble, it's own little universe within verses. Unless agreed upon by all muns, there will be no cheating. Polyships MUST be agreed upon by all muns as well. I don't play exclusives or mains. And while I understand that I can't rp with everyone, I don't want to turn away people who want to ship with me and my Dan Heng, regardless if I'm already exploring the ship with someone else. • Please note that I have headcanoned Dan Heng/Yinyue as having both male and female sexual reproductive organs, though he IS male, the female stuff is usually hidden thus won't come into play unless it's with a cis-male partner or a trans woman who still has her male reproductive organs and wants children with Dan Heng. He does lay unfertilized eggs after his heats/ruts. And he is capable of cross-species breeding/having kids. If this is not your cup of tea, please ignore this character development choice of mine. I won't ever force you to do this, I just want my followers to know that this is the route I've chosen to take.

headcanons will not be rebloggable. This is mostly to save me time and effort as I know from past instances that personals will not always listen to the RPer. Also please reblog threads that you are tagged in. To keep things orderly.

No god-modding for major stuff. Small instances of 'she took his hand and led him to xyz' are fine as they move the plot along.

This is a personal preference, but I will be coloring some things blue and bolding them in terms of text. I use the small/sub texting format as well. I also am forced to the new editor/beta editor so if you haven't done so already, please switch for my sake.

Canon Divergence - Meilu

The main point of divergence is that Zhongli CREATED Meilu as an Exuvia; she is a separate 'body' from him. They exist at the same time with separate ideals, goals and personal interests.

Personality:

Meilu thoroughly enjoys pushing the 'boundaries' between femininity and masculinity; a 'feminine' curvy female body and a tone of voice that could catch others off guard by how 'deep' yet sultry she can create with full control over her own vocal chords.

Many would describe Meilu to be calm, polite, incredibly loyal and rather sentimental ( more tender towards others, especially children, in comparison to having feelings of nostalgia like her predecessors ) UNTIL someone annoys her in some way that is to where Meilu resorts more to animalistic responses - glares of golden glowing eyes, low growls that slowly intensify and verbal warnings in a deep rumble from her throat; dragon mode.

However, majority of the time Meilu portrays herself in public with elegance and grace and some times a 'motherly' atmosphere when communicating and greeting others. She can be incredibly soft spoken around children; knowing her voice could easily scare them.

Fashion wise, Meilu thrives in wearing traditional clothing of Liyue design ( Chinese inspired ) the only time you won't see her wear such clothing is if she intended to TRAVEL and tends to wear a repurposed ARCHON outfit ( see travel attire below ) as it is better insulated to protect her from outside elements - extreme heat or cold; as it can put her into a state of hibernation.

Abilities:

Meilu will always be an Elemental Dragon of the GEO element; even if she prefers standing at a distance while using Adeptus Arts as support - or even hand to hand combat to deal with 'opponents' quickly if she is feels the situation calls for it.

She, like other Adepti of the Mountains, has her own domain/abode created for a multitude of reasons. Like storing her belongings as Meilu travels fairly regularly; it has no fixed point of entry as the 'domain' is similar to the Serenitea Pot - the object to open her domain is small and Meilu keeps it a secret to 'trick' observers to think she is opening it using only her thoughts.

Another ability that Meilu has 'mastered' is simply called a 'memory stone' that mixes her natural ability to create gems of GEO with an secret/lost Adepti Art that fits perfectly with an ability she gained from her predecessor which is the ability to walk through someone's dream... only this 'connection' is deeper than a dream as she can view an individuals memories with an spiritual imbued bite from her jaws - the firmness of the bite depends on if the person is mortal or not.

The results. A stone imbued with her powers and the individuals memories permanently stored within. It is actually Meilu's own form of a contract; she claims no ownership of someone else's memories nor will she reveal what has been seen without the persons permission in exchange! The stone will resonate if the individual is in danger - if they have it on them somewhere at the time! - and Meilu will show up and offer assistance to the person who held the stone.

Character Story + Voicelines:

Created, before Zhongli traded his Gnosis to the Fatui in the form of a contract with the Tsaritsa, instead of born by natural birth or 'dragon' egg of sorts ~ Meilu has many internal struggles as a result. Mainly Imposter syndrome, as she has ALL of her creators memories and powers but very few that were created by personal experiences - her few months/years of life compared to over 6,000+ of knowledge and experience. As a result, Meilu wishes to travel and find her own place in the world - either in Teyvat or an entirely different universe!

About Xiao: "It's odd. I have so many memories of him and the other Yaksha from my predecessor but I've never met them myself and have had little contact with Xiao himself since my creation... is he perhaps avoiding me due to his loyalty to the former Liyue Archon?" About Venti: "I'm not the 'old friend' that Zhongli is to them and I hope they know that. I would like to get to know 'Venti' but only if they wish to get to know me." About Tartaglia: "A powerful mortal with abilities that causes him harm. I do wish he would put more thought before resorting to his Foul Legacy transformation. However, that isn't for me to demand of him, he is an intelligent individual but also a Harbinger of the Fatui, so I have no authority over him." Thankfully, my natural sensitivity to spirits have helped the Funeral Parlor.. I do hope she didn't take it personally after I declined her offer to join as a consultant? My personal goals simply didn't match up." About Yanfei: "I often observe the Harbor from a high vantage point as my dragonic senses, especially hearing, make it easy to watch from afar. So I have witnessed how Yanfei handles herself with the public and I'm always impressed by the strategies she implements to maintain a balance between fairness and the law when dealing with even 'mundane' cases. The giant book is also precious ~" Hobbies: "It has taken me some time to figure out what I enjoy enough since my creation. My main hobby? I suppose the official term would be Gemology. I hope my answer doesn't disappoint you?" Favorite Food: "I simply adore Tianshu Meat ~ It may look 'heavy' and overly 'fatty' but it really isn't... would you like to try some?" Least Favorite Food: "I have no gag reflex but when I was first served 'A Prize Catch' by Tartaglia my throat wished that I had one-- hm? You didn't know that about me? Oh-- my apologizes ~" Birthday: "Happy Birthday, would you allow me to spend the day with you? We don't have to do anything extravagant if you don't wish to make a 'big deal' of this special day of your original birth."

Trivia:

In game: Meilu would have a 4 piece Archaic Petra set as her artifacts. Why? Because she doesn't like sitting around behind a shield; Meilu is essentially a 'rush' switch character and will allow her team mates to create an openly for her to buff the team.

She scales off of ATK not HP, sue her-- I mean fight me!

Weapon wise; Meilu's preferred 5 star option would be Vortex Vanquisher but her go to 4 star option would be Prototype Starglitter!

A dragon with the power to traverse universes in the search for a 'purpose' and place to live permanently in a world with individuals that accepts her for who she truly desires to be; a protector.

Meilu will NOT accept an Aeons path; though she is sensitive enough to sense the Aeons presence but in the beginning may not fully understand the 'power' that she felt unless the individual Aeon appeared physically in her line of sight.

Due to her natural abilities chances are high that Meilu may be mistaken as a Memo Keeper; especially when she could enter the dream world of Penacony without the pool unless she felt it was completely necessary for a 'stronger' connection. Meilu is not one nor will she claim to be one just to fit in.

She has no knowledge of the Vidyadhara so if Meilu is labeled one without much information; a verbal correction of 'Adeptus Dragon' at minimum would be made; she has great respect to dragons.

Similar to the above; Meilu will not accept a title or employment - Nameless, IPC etc - without a contract to maintain her freedom to 'come and go' as she pleased due to being a creature with longevity - her main goal is to understand the universe she is in first and then determine what to do with her time 'long term'.

Meilu would calmly add as a 'fun fact' while she observed Zayne accepting and admiring his birthday presents. His smile and softened gaze made the trip back to Liyue absolutely worth it, once olive hues met gold her own gaze would soften, a subtle head tilt and a smile of her own in response.

"You certainly have a way with words, Zayne." she did find his manner of speech fascinating, his delivery of such words may confuse others - or make Zayne appear cold hearted - but Meilu had quickly determined that nothing he says isn't without meaning - you just had to be more 'attention to detail' and understanding with him.

"It would be my honor to share a cup of Osmanthus wine with you." Meilu enjoyed the beverage and she immediately hoped that Zayne would enjoy it just as much as she did. "Basking in each others company without worries or grief? That certainly does sound very appealing but it was my intention from the beginning to assist in making this birthday memorable for the right reasons." she hummed softly, an idea popping briefly into her thoughts.

She took a few steps closer, hands carefully holding the wine bottle in particular - neither of them would want to waste perfectly good wine? - leaning up and planting a 'birthday kiss' of sorts upon Zayne's cheek before speaking in a soft yet warm tone. "Thank you, Zayne ~ For giving me the opportunity to get to know and spend time with you. I hope your birthday wishes come true ~" she smiled.
