"Its a pleasure to meet you, Dan Heng. Truthfully, I haven't appeared here today looking for assistance but simply to introduce myself and if you will allow it, spend some time getting to know each other." she placed a hand upon her chest and respectfully bowed her head.

"My name is Meilu, technically I'm an Exuvia created by 'Zhongli' about four months ago... unless you know my creator better as Rex Lapis?" A soft, nervous chuckle, escaped her lips as Meilu still didn't know how else to introduce herself despite having about four months to properly collect her thoughts and develop a proper introduction.

"Since my creation I have been spending time getting to know each Adeptus individually so I apologize that it has taken me several months to meet you in person." Meilu explained, she also needed to spend some time simply adjusting to life but left that part out.

Why would this woman seek an audience with him? As far as he knew, everything was running smoothly. The hilichurls stayed as far away from the human settlements as possible. And they only sometimes caused a commotion if they felt that the humans were encroaching on their homes. Slimes were of course a bit different to deal with. They were slimes with some elemental power and were attracted to the elements. But usually the Millelith, adventurers or the guards from the Sword and Strongbox Secure Transport Agency dealt with them and the Treasure Hoarders.

Which was rarely ever. Though he was curious, he got up from his mediative pose and smiled at her, his aqua eyes softening.

Canon Divergence - Meilu

The main point of divergence is that Zhongli CREATED Meilu as an Exuvia; she is a separate 'body' from him. They exist at the same time with separate ideals, goals and personal interests.

Personality:

Meilu thoroughly enjoys pushing the 'boundaries' between femininity and masculinity; a 'feminine' curvy female body and a tone of voice that could catch others off guard by how 'deep' yet sultry she can create with full control over her own vocal chords.

Many would describe Meilu to be calm, polite, incredibly loyal and rather sentimental ( more tender towards others, especially children, in comparison to having feelings of nostalgia like her predecessors ) UNTIL someone annoys her in some way that is to where Meilu resorts more to animalistic responses - glares of golden glowing eyes, low growls that slowly intensify and verbal warnings in a deep rumble from her throat; dragon mode.

However, majority of the time Meilu portrays herself in public with elegance and grace and some times a 'motherly' atmosphere when communicating and greeting others. She can be incredibly soft spoken around children; knowing her voice could easily scare them.

Fashion wise, Meilu thrives in wearing traditional clothing of Liyue design ( Chinese inspired ) the only time you won't see her wear such clothing is if she intended to TRAVEL and tends to wear a repurposed ARCHON outfit ( see travel attire below ) as it is better insulated to protect her from outside elements - extreme heat or cold; as it can put her into a state of hibernation.

Abilities:

Meilu will always be an Elemental Dragon of the GEO element; even if she prefers standing at a distance while using Adeptus Arts as support - or even hand to hand combat to deal with 'opponents' quickly if she is feels the situation calls for it.

She, like other Adepti of the Mountains, has her own domain/abode created for a multitude of reasons. Like storing her belongings as Meilu travels fairly regularly; it has no fixed point of entry as the 'domain' is similar to the Serenitea Pot - the object to open her domain is small and Meilu keeps it a secret to 'trick' observers to think she is opening it using only her thoughts.

Another ability that Meilu has 'mastered' is simply called a 'memory stone' that mixes her natural ability to create gems of GEO with an secret/lost Adepti Art that fits perfectly with an ability she gained from her predecessor which is the ability to walk through someone's dream... only this 'connection' is deeper than a dream as she can view an individuals memories with an spiritual imbued bite from her jaws - the firmness of the bite depends on if the person is mortal or not.

The results. A stone imbued with her powers and the individuals memories permanently stored within. It is actually Meilu's own form of a contract; she claims no ownership of someone else's memories nor will she reveal what has been seen without the persons permission in exchange! The stone will resonate if the individual is in danger - if they have it on them somewhere at the time! - and Meilu will show up and offer assistance to the person who held the stone.

Character Story + Voicelines:

Created, before Zhongli traded his Gnosis to the Fatui in the form of a contract with the Tsaritsa, instead of born by natural birth or 'dragon' egg of sorts ~ Meilu has many internal struggles as a result. Mainly Imposter syndrome, as she has ALL of her creators memories and powers but very few that were created by personal experiences - her few months/years of life compared to over 6,000+ of knowledge and experience. As a result, Meilu wishes to travel and find her own place in the world - either in Teyvat or an entirely different universe!

Trivia:

In game: Meilu would have a 4 piece Archaic Petra set as her artifacts. Why? Because she doesn't like sitting around behind a shield; Meilu is essentially a 'rush' switch character and will allow her team mates to create an openly for her to buff the team.

She scales off of ATK not HP, sue her-- I mean fight me!

Weapon wise; Meilu's preferred 5 star option would be Vortex Vanquisher but her go to 4 star option would be Prototype Starglitter!

Ignoring the others 'colorful language' for now, Meilu was focused on answering the newcomers questions while her eyes continued to scan him - now his position had changed - for visual injuries.

"Teyvat, more specifically you crash landed in a nation called Liyue." she would tilted her head while explaining the world he appeared in plus the nation the dragon male crash landed into.

"My name is Meilu, may I ask what your name is for starters?" Meilu would correct her head position to stand up and climb out of the crater to give the other some space to collect himself. She will simply side 'pretty' on the outside and observe and hear him out from a slight elevation mostly due to not knowing his intentions - not that he is likely to know them himself if from another world/universe.

After the shift, the 'man' remained unconscious long enough for Meilu to draw close to him, and even when she moved some of his bangs from his face. He was breathing, at least, so there was that. He was alive, slightly injured, but he wasn't dead. That was a good thing.

Acnologia heard a voice, but it sounded muffled, maybe a bit far away even. Vivid green eyes would snap open before he winced due to the brightness of the overhead sun. He'd lift his arm to shade his eyes but not without a groan. Eventually, his eyes would fully focus, and he'd look at Meilu before narrowing them briefly.

"Oh... I'm just fuckin' peachy,"

His voice was thick with an accent, yet he somehow spoke in a language that Meilu could understand. Given how he'd arrived that may be more of a shock than the fact that he was actually alive. He'd eventually adjust himself to where he was sitting up, not quite sure if he should try to stand yet or not. The scent in the air was new to him, it smelt strange but not in a bad way. He'd once more look at the woman.

"Where th' hell am I?"

A dragon with the power to traverse universes in the search for a 'purpose' and place to live permanently in a world with individuals that accepts her for who she truly desires to be; a protector.

"Am I a god? I don't believe so ~ My predecessor gave up his 'god hood' before creating me. I claim no divinity in this universe, I'm simply a humble observer who wishes to find a place to truly belong amongst its people that I chose to dwell with and learn from." ~ Meilu, to individuals who sense she isn't normal.

Meilu will NOT accept an Aeons path; though she is sensitive enough to sense the Aeons presence but in the beginning may not fully understand the 'power' that she felt unless the individual Aeon appeared physically in her line of sight.

Due to her natural abilities chances are high that Meilu may be mistaken as a Memo Keeper; especially when she could enter the dream world of Penacony without the pool unless she felt it was completely necessary for a 'stronger' connection. Meilu is not one nor will she claim to be one just to fit in.

She has no knowledge of the Vidyadhara so if Meilu is labeled one without much information; a verbal correction of 'Adeptus Dragon' at minimum would be made; she has great respect to dragons.

Similar to the above; Meilu will not accept a title or employment - Nameless, IPC etc - without a contract to maintain her freedom to 'come and go' as she pleased due to being a creature with longevity - her main goal is to understand the universe she is in first and then determine what to do with her time 'long term'.

Meilu would calmly add as a 'fun fact' while she observed Zayne accepting and admiring his birthday presents. His smile and softened gaze made the trip back to Liyue absolutely worth it, once olive hues met gold her own gaze would soften, a subtle head tilt and a smile of her own in response.

"You certainly have a way with words, Zayne." she did find his manner of speech fascinating, his delivery of such words may confuse others - or make Zayne appear cold hearted - but Meilu had quickly determined that nothing he says isn't without meaning - you just had to be more 'attention to detail' and understanding with him.

"It would be my honor to share a cup of Osmanthus wine with you." Meilu enjoyed the beverage and she immediately hoped that Zayne would enjoy it just as much as she did. "Basking in each others company without worries or grief? That certainly does sound very appealing but it was my intention from the beginning to assist in making this birthday memorable for the right reasons." she hummed softly, an idea popping briefly into her thoughts.

She took a few steps closer, hands carefully holding the wine bottle in particular - neither of them would want to waste perfectly good wine? - leaning up and planting a 'birthday kiss' of sorts upon Zayne's cheek before speaking in a soft yet warm tone. "Thank you, Zayne ~ For giving me the opportunity to get to know and spend time with you. I hope your birthday wishes come true ~" she smiled.

Meilu x Itto

While in private; Meilu greets Itto by pulling him in close with her dragon tail. While in public; she greets Itto by walking up beside him and holding his hand - that is if he was too busy to greet her first. Once Itto isn't busy, he always greets her with a kiss - using his hand as a shield if children are around which tends to end with Meilu giggling due to the kids reactions.

Training together in her domain... that usually ends with sex

Meilu openly chose to remain living in Liyue, mostly to make sure spirit children cross over safetly, but when Meilu knows that Itto is currently in Inazuma she often stands on top of a mountain - or the highest vantage point availagle in the area - looking in the direction of Inazuma and quietly hoping that he was doing well.

Meilu finds Itto's relationship with each member of the Arataki Gang absolutely precious. Before leaving Inazuma to return to Liyue, she always reminds Itto that he is never truly alone thanks to the Gang he created and nurtured himself but she never has to remind him to protect them - Meilu knows that 'protective' behavior has always been in Itto's nature since day one.

Sara x Itto

In a relationship with Itto, Sara is more verbally protective of him but it is done in a calm stoic tone to not cause an argument with citizens that accuse Itto of something without physical evidence while in her presence - with or without Itto being there also.

BEAN POLICE? Sara always keeps one dose of Teyvat's version of an EpiPen on her persons at all times. It's always in the pockets of her shorts that she will use in emergencies should Itto consume food that had hidden/unknown bean products and once he is safe she will have a full investigation made - to see if it was accidental or if it was done on purpose to cause harm.

( Continued from Above ) The EpiPen isn't just to protect Itto, Sara will use it on any citizen who experiences an allergic reaction in her presence as the applicator is safe for use on children. She has witnessed someone die from an allergic reaction and refuses to be helpless should a similar situation occur again...

As a General, dedicated to the peace of her nation and the safety of it's people, Sara can't physically spend the amount of time she actually wants to with him. So she sends Itto notes/messages via a messenger bird that once delivered orders to her personally during the Vision Hunt Decree/War in Inazuma.

Childe x Eros

Affectionately calls Eros their 'pretty bottom' and will, if safe to do so, playfully flop to the ground if his partner tries to 'tackle hug' him... lowkey giving Eros a chance to be on top. Childe does enjoy when Eros is on top of him in some form - even as basic as cuddling up together with most of Eros body curled up against/on top of him.

Childe is very aware that Eros dragon tail is incredibly sensitive but he enjoys just playing with it every so often, with no intention of trying to actively arouse his partner, bonus if Eros lets him sleep against it while they had been enjoying stargazing somewhere around Liyue - like by the ocean or in the mountains. Sorry Eros, your tail was briefly a fidget toy to your goofball partner before he exhausted himself to make it into a comfy pillow.

Eros follows Childe on his Fatui missions within Liyue to make sure he doesn't go overboard and get himself unnecessarily injured. Also likely curious to learn more about Childe from observing from a distance which Childe doesn't mind; he usually spots Eros eventually and gives a playful smug smirk up at where the cheeky dragon Sovereign was perched and observing from.

( NSFW ) After care for them both is most likely lazy kisses/cuddles but mainly Eros giving Childe a massage in an attempt to lessen a very likely flare up of Fibromyalgia due to sex - especially if Childe got a little carried away trying to give Eros everything he had.

Argenti x Eros

Main public showing of affection in the relationship is Argenti kissing Eros on the forehead while for Eros to Argenti? Kisses their Knight on the cheek. Some times 'misses' ( on purpose ) and catches Argenti on the lips due to finding the immediate surprised expression, even months into the relationship, absolutely precious!

Privately Argenti is much more open to affection with Eros; most of the time it doesn't get further than the top layers of clothing being removed which Argenti tries to make up for it in other ways that isn't of a sexual nature ~

Argenti will forever cherish the patience Eros has with him in regards to intimacy together due to his original oath; he can see clearly EVERY TIME that Eros wants to do more together and holding themselves back for comfort of their partner.

Argenti never experiences nightmares of his past while sleeping in the same room/area as Eros; he wishes that his own presence also gives that same effect so that Eros can rest peacefully!

Jing Yuan x Eros

Jing Yuan is always aware of Eros anxiety, especially when traveling together around the Luofu together and others - officers or citizens - often approach him for a conversation. Jing Yuan gives Eros subtle opportunities to distract themselves from the situation. Such as allowing Eros to coil the tip of their tail around around Jing Yuans wrist that is hidden behind his back or if the situation was too far gone for the tail the General wouldn't flinch if Eros chose to hold his hand instead.

( Continued from ABOVE ) As an apology for not dealing with the crowd quickly enough Jing Yuan carefully leads Eros into a quiet place, usually with a nice view and gentle breeze, for them to sit down in just each others company to allow Eros enough time to recover and relax - even allowing Eros to nap against him if that is what Eros needed at the time.

When Jing Yuan pulls out the ribbon from his hair; its a literal open invitation for Eros to play with his hair as they desire.

( Continued from ABOVE ) Eros brushes it with their hands more than anything else - the hair is incredibly thick yet soft and fluffy. Some accuse Jing Yuan of taking better care of his hair than doing his duties as a General; Eros hisses at them, Jing Yuan chuckles and ignores them to refocus on calming Eros and cheering them up!

Meilu & Eros ( Platonic/Familial )

( Genshin verse ) While Eros was physically growing up and traveling around Liyue with Meilu, she would be walking along the path with Eros closely behind clinging to their mamas dragonic tail as they wished to try walk independently. With the only condition being that in the early stages they used the mentioned tail as a safety precaution - should Eros stumble, the tail would catch them before the little one could end up face down in the dirt AND if Meilu sensed a monster nearby the tail would coil and scoop Eros up to bring them into her arms.

( Genshin verse ) THEY TRAIN TOGETHER. Humanoid dragon modes! Meilu wishes to assist, to the best of her ability, to give her child the best chance to defeat 'bigger' opponents using more focused strikes especially using the natural strength within their dragon tails - she focuses on developing Eros physical prowess with Geo defensive strategies as secondary focus.

( HSR verse ) Meilu ONCE tried to 'brave the cold' outside the city of Belobog to assist Eros in an expedition to gather medicinal herbs/supplies. NEVER AGAIN after a sudden blizzard was strong enough to force her into state of hibernation. Woke up some time later in the Underworld clinic in a bed completely embarrassed wondering if Eros had to carry her to safety alone--

( HSR verse ) Most of her time spent in the Overworld is likely in search for a new place to try on Eros lunch breaks so they don't get bored of the food or place due to repetition. Then Meilu returns to the Underworld and asks Eros their input on the potential place she found for them to try - if things are incredibly busy at the clinic, Meilu will likely bring lunch to Eros instead!
