"Alright, let's see what we..." Her voice trailed off as she pulled the curtain behind her, pausing when she saw a familiar face looking up at her. "--have here..." She heaved a sigh, pulling on a new pair of gloves as she crossed over to the chair he was seated in.

"Y'know, Mr. Miller, you will not get frequent flier mile points if you keep showing up here," Heather dryly commented though her eyes softened as she took note of the bruises and cuts on his person.

"What happened this time?" she asked, figuring it was another match.

I am going to pick the voice actors for my gods, RS’ dream cast for her LO live action is just for points and not even there to play the roles and she only picks her celebrity crush Mads to be Christian blue I know. A Retro Moment

For mercy’s sake, Paul, dedicate this one to Linda. 🎵 🎶

After the premiere of his classical composition Ecce Cor Meum (Behold My Heart) at the Royal Albert Hall on 3 Nov. 2006, McCartney gave an interview the next day for BBC Radio 4's Today programme, which was reported by The Daily Mail [link].

From the interview:

“He said Ecce Cor Meum was inspired by his first wife Linda, who died from breast cancer in 1998. She was with him when he was first asked to write the piece 10 years ago and after her death he stopped working on it due to his grief.

"’When Linda died, that was obviously a huge shock and a very difficult time for the family and it stopped me writing anything,’ he said. ‘It was a year and a half after that when I started to creep back into the studio and see if I could do anything.’ Sir Paul said the Interlude part of the composition was particularly sad and his ‘cathartic’ way of getting back into music.

“But the musician said he had not dedicated the piece to Linda because by the time it was finished he had a new love interest. ‘I had found a new woman in Heather and it wasn't really appropriate to dedicate it to Linda,’ he said.”

What nonsense did I just read?

It was inspired by Linda; the interlude expressed his tentative emergence from grief after Linda’s death. BUT he couldn’t dedicate it to Linda because there was a wife no. 2 on the scene?

Paul McCartney, sometimes you make no sense, and this was one of those times.

Why would it be inappropriate to dedicate it to Linda regardless of whom he is married to? She was an important figure in his life for three decades, who joined him in his love of music, and with whom he raised four children who gave him (and her) much joy. If he had written a piece inspired by his friend and collaborator John Lennon, he would (rightfully) have no issue dedicating it to John regardless of whom he is friends and collaborators with now. Why should it be any different with Linda?

Paul himself said of Linda in an interview with The Times [link] in June 2011:

“She is a very powerful memory because I was married to her for nearly 30 years. Now, in my relationship with my new girlfriend, Linda is a powerful presence…”

At least Paul was of sound mind at that time. Where was this sentiment in 2006?

Paul married Heather Mills in 2002 over the protests of his children, who deeply disliked and distrusted her. She likewise disliked his children; but not only that, she had no respect for the memory of their mother. Mills was jealous of Linda and could barely abide her name being mentioned.

Paul, who was by all accounts a devoted family man, has stated that he loves being a dad and that his children are his proudest achievement. In an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1997, he stated that the greatest gift he and Linda gave each other were their kids. (I would post a link, but that segment doesn’t appear to be on youtube anymore.)

How Inexplicable

How inexplicable then, that he chose for his life partner someone who positively bristled against his children, for whom the loss of their mother was still fresh.

Maybe it’s poetic justice for being so inconsiderate of his children’s feelings that McCartney sounds like such a fool when looking back, as this passage from The Guardian (2008) shows:

“… on their engagement, he [McCartney] commented that "being in love with her makes me want to write songs." and one composition inspired by her was used as the bridal march at their wedding. (Among the lyrics prompted by their love was the deadweight ‘She makes me feel glad/I want her so bad.’) 🙄

“But even as muse, Mills annoyed some members of the public — after all, hadn't that always been Linda's role, wasn't she usurping that perfect first wife?”

As for Heather (and Nancy ❤️)

As for Mills, she presented as self-centred and craving recognition. Despite her charitable campaigns that raised millions for amputees, her affinity for the ulterior benefits of charity — the media attention, the praise from dignitaries, etc. — tainted her contributions in the public eye, rightly or wrongly. This was in contrast to Linda, whose sole concern in her vegetarian projects really was strictly for the animals, as she didn’t expect to gain any praise at all [link, p. 617].

This quote from The Guardian in 2008 suggests what might have been Heather Mills’ primary attraction to Paul McCartney:

"Mills is very much a product of our society, a person in love with fame and celebrity, and that dazzled her."

Even if it wasn’t exactly a love match on Mills’ part, she still rankled if she wasn’t the centre of the relationship. She certainly had her issues, as is evident in this fascinating article from 2009. She did not seem to grasp that Paul’s marriage to Linda was not severed by alienation or breakdown, but that he lost her while he still very much loved her. That love doesn’t turn off like a tap; he will always have a strong spiritual and memorative link to her. If Mills couldn’t handle that, she shouldn’t have married him.

Thank goodness for Nancy, who has the generosity of spirit to understand that Paul can’t simply sweep Linda out of his memory. She knows that he has room in his heart for both of them.

Um … how about because your children would like to see it dedicated to their mother?

Honestly, what kind of brain fog was McCartney under during his marriage to Mills that made him forget he had children with Linda, and that these children had feelings? SMH. 🤦‍♀️ Why tiptoe so gingerly around Mills’ feelings? This was late 2006; he had already filed for divorce months earlier.

Come on Paul, do the right thing next time. If it was inspired by Linda, originated with Linda, and evokes Linda, then dedicate it to Linda.

D4DJ Voice Actor's and Headcanon Voice Actors.

This will be a little different than my usual VA headcanon posts because this will actually feature both canon AND headcanon VA's from this series.

The only instance where D4DJ has been dubbed in English is the first season of the anime, which primarily featured Happy Around, Peaky P-Key and Photon Maiden, and while the other units made cameos and had voiced scenes, they didn't really get the spotlight. I wanted to include all the characters in the post though, because I very quickly fell in love with this series and the storylines, and characters sing to me, pun not intended.

So this is kind of a roundup of the voice actors of the characters in English, as well as who I think would voice the characters who DON'T appear in English. The rules are the same as ever.

Chapter 5 - Just Like Heaven

The music could be heard from down the block. Despite the shows going down on the basement level behind closed doors, the sound pours out onto the street. Judging by the way people are bobbing along to the beat, it’s more of an attraction than a nuisance, which makes Steve happy. Eddie has been worrying about this party for weeks now and to see it coming together warms him. 

But his warmth is soon replaced by amusement when he looks over at Suzie and sees the young woman looking wide-eyed at the wall of sound as the people milling in and around the entrance of Smash Records. In the past few months of living here, Suzie had only ever gone to the shop in the late hours to pick up Dustin from Dungeons and Dragons so she'd never exactly interacted with it beyond that. Steve is worried for a moment that she’s going to bolt until he hears, “Eden is going to be so jealous!” He can see Dustin mirroring his relief as he takes her hand to keep walking. 

The pair are dressed up like Atreyu and Moon Child from the NeverEnding Story, while Steve is dressed as J.D. from Heathers. Most of the clothes are from Eddie’s closet, and Steve still hasn’t seen what Eddie looks like, as he insisted on getting dressed at work.

“How was the store prep last night?” Dustin asks, snapping Steve out of his musings. 

“It was good. I got there early to help Eddie with some last minute set up, met some of his co-workers,” he offers vaguely, figuring if he tells Dustin more than that his friend will try to start something. His hope for Dustin to not catch onto something is short-lived when they come up to the entrance of the story and Steve spies the man who’d sent him into a spiral. He’d avoided a run-in with the man yesterday when dropping off decorations, not really wanting to relive their first interaction, but the universe decided to betray him tonight. 

“Bands downstairs, shop and drinks upstairs,” the man calls out, his eyes scanning the crowd as he takes tickets. But as soon as they lock with Steve's, his smile turns to wide-eyed recognition. 

“Oh hey Jamie,” Dustin greets, as the man looks between Dustin, Steve, and Suzie. “Haven’t seen you in a few weeks.”

“Yeah, uh Eddie has me on openings most days now. Sad I don’t get to see your D&D crew too often.”

“But I bet it’s nice not to stay so late. By the way, have you met Steve?” Dustin asks, pointing behind him. Steve quirks an eyebrow, curious about what the burnout’s response would be. 

“Uh yeah, we’ve met,” he nods, and Dustin picks up on the nervous look in his eyes. Steve knows that look, it’s the ‘I’m in deep shit with the boss’ look, and Steve finds it hilarious that someone is afraid of Eddie not for being, well Eddie, but because he’s their boss. “I didn’t get to say this yesterday but sorry about that, uh misunderstanding, dude. Eddie let us know last week. I guess congratulations are in order?”

“Why are we congratulating you, Steve?” Suzie chimes in and not so subtly glances down at his stomach, which has him closing his jacket. 

“No, absolutely not Suzie Q.” Steve exhales in an attempt to compose himself. “Thanks for the apology man,” Steve mutters before walking past Jamie without purchasing a ticket. He’s owed that much.

The inside of the shop is dimly lit with graveyard decorations everywhere. The shelves and bins are covered in cobwebs and fake moss, with zombie and skeleton figures dotted throughout. The shop's sound system is contending with the noise pouring out from downstairs, and there’s a line at the counter-turned-bar. It’s clear that Eddie’s planning has paid off and Steve can’t help but be proud. 

“Hey big boy,” he hears from behind him, arms wrapping around his waist. 

“Holy shit, Eddie?!” Dustin yells before Steve can turn around. He wonders what has Dustin so worked up about when he pivots and sees Eddie’s costume. 

He knew Eddie planned on being Veronica from Heathers, hence the trench coat Steve is currently sporting, but he’d expected Eddie to be wearing the outfit from the last scene where Veronica is all bloodied and dirty. But no. Instead his metalhead partner is full prep. Steve’s eyes rake over the black cropped tank top that shows off all his alpha’s scars, tattoos, and his latest piercing. His eyes trail down to the blue tiered skirt, and tights, and are those loafers?

“Do you like it?” Eddie giggles, twirling in the skirt to make it flare out a bit. All Steve can do is nod because like is an understatement and he sort of hates that they’re in a room full of people right now. It’s not the first time he’s seen Eddie in drag - the Frank-N-Furter from ‘87 almost gave him a nosebleed - but something about this outfit is making Steve drool. 

As Steve composes himself, Eddie greets their younger friends, explaining his costume choice and that he forced Steve to be J.D. between the hair, adding ‘what guy wouldn’t want their fiancé dressing up like Christian Slater,’ before hopping behind the bar and getting them drinks. “Don’t worry Stevie, I’m running a tab for myself lest your precious numbers get ruined. Thank you again by the way, it’s been a major help. Now sorry kiddos but I’m stealing your mom to meet some people. Behave, drink responsibly Henderson, and Suzie I made sure the bar has non-caffeine options for you. Enjoy!” 

Steve manages a wave before Eddie is tugging him to the first of many groups of people Steve meets throughout the night. The introductions make Steve dizzy, but he’s unable to stop smiling. Each time Eddie would introduce Steve as his - his partner, his fiancé, his soon-to-be mate, and one time, as his omega. That comment makes Steve heady, and he nuzzles himself into Eddie’s neck, blaming it on the alcohol. He meets people in bands, regulars of the store, and when he finally meets Carmen, Steve pulls out the written cookie recipe they asked for from his jacket pocket.

Occasionally Eddie excuses himself to run downstairs and introduce the next band, leaving Steve to chat with whomever he’s just met. Luckily years of Harrington functions made him adept at small talk, but he finds himself not having to force the interactions. He keeps up with several conversations about music, and at one point he drags Dustin over to help him win an argument about Star Wars which thrills the younger man.

Eddie comes back after his third time disappearing to pull Steve away. “I’ve got a surprise for you,” Eddie whispers, and leads Steve out of the store and downstairs to the venue space where the stage is transitioning between sets. Steve figures the band coming on next is one of the bigger acts Eddie booked, but before he can ask his alpha who’s coming on Eddie isn’t next to him. Shrugging off the vanishing act he spies Dustin and Suzie in the crowd and moves over to them. 

“Do you have any idea who’s going next?” Steve asks them, before looking on the stage and blinking in recognition at the drummer. That can’t be Gareth, can it? And sure enough, it is. Eddie is walking to the microphone with a cat-like grin, with Jeff trailing behind him. Eddie hasn’t changed out of his costume but has his guitar strapped around his shoulder, shifting the crop top even further up.

“Good evening Smash Records!” he calls out, the crowd cheering in response. “As many of you know, my name is Eddie, and I’ve been your fantastic master of ceremonies for the evening. And thank you for coming out to our humble venue for Halloween 1989!” Eddie pauses for the cacophony to settle down before continuing and Steve can’t help but think he looks far too natural on stage. 

“We’ve got two more acts lined up tonight but what’s the point of managing this lovely establishment if I can’t put myself on the bill? I promise it’ll only be a few songs and then you monsters can get what you came for, but for now, indulge me. So without further ado, we are Corroded Coffin!” Gareth’s drumsticks count them off and they launch into a thunderous song that wakes the crowd up. Steve is grateful he’s close to the front when people start jumping. Not just for his personal well-being, but for the fact that he wants nothing to take his eyes off Eddie. Every so often Eddie winks or smirks at him, and if he weren’t already engaged to the man he’d be begging to be. 

The band lets song bleed into song with only a few pauses to say the title, so when Eddie stands fully at the microphone settling the audience down, Steve wonders what he has planned.

“Right, this is going to be our last song, and it’s a cover of sorts. You see this lovely man right here down in front, hello Stevie,” he waves, blowing a kiss to Steve, who suddenly feels all eyes in the venue on him. “Well, he may not look it at first glance, but I swear to you all he’s the most metal man I know. Though only in character not in music taste. Alas. But! Despite how different we are, this gorgeous, frankly sexy man has agreed to marry me. Little ol’ me. So, Stevie, this last song is for you.”

The opening chords don’t sound like anything Steve recognizes until Eddie begins to sing. 

“Show me, show me, show me how you do that trick. The one that makes me scream, he said. The one that makes me laugh, he said, and threw his arms around my neck. Show me how you do it, and I promise you I promise that, I'll run away with you”

The rhythm is faster than the original and the sound is rawer, but Steve is stunned to find Eddie Munson singing Just Like Heaven to him on stage in front of hundreds of people. And suddenly Steve is remembering a night almost two years ago when Steve was humming along to the song on the radio and Eddie teased him - “Careful what you sing Harrington, I might get the wrong idea and try to run off with you.” And now here he is watching that promise come full circle with Eddie on stage. 

When the last chord rings out Eddie swings his guitar behind his back and reaches to pull Steve on stage. As he’s being kissed, Steve barely registers the roar of the crowd, or how hot stage lights can be, because all he can think about is how in love he is with Eddie.

What Happened To Me?

Billy wants to know everything. He wants to know what happened from the very start until right this second because he’s still not sure what happened to him and everyone is fucking ignoring him.

The nurses don’t say shit, just tend to his wounds and help him move around when he’s too weak to do so himself. After, you know, sacrificing himself after apparently being possessed but some interdimensional creature and still not even being told the full story.

He’s pissed off that no one tells him what’s going on. It’s all no disclosure agreements and government people and apparently being possessed doesn’t warrant an explanation.

So he tries to figure it out himself.

He, Max and Susan live in the trailer park now and apparently her little friends have joined Hellfire Club. Eddie has been begging Billy to join Hellfire as soon as Billy arrived in Hawkins and Billy always replied with a strong no. Sometimes he helped out on campaigns whilst getting high with Eddie in his room but that’s as far as it really got.

He’s been out most of the day, trying to find a job that will agree with his limited abilities right now when he comes home and finds all the lights in the caravan park flickering. He’s got an uneasy feeling as he walks up to his new home and turns when he hears something from the Munson trailer across the way.

Eddie flies out of the trailer like a bat out of hell and sees Billy staring in shock. He rushes over and drags Billy with him and suddenly Billy is holding on for dear life as Eddie speeds away from the trailer park.

“Chrissy” Eddie rubs a hand down his face “Fuck, man, her eyes, her arms fuck”

“What?”

“She died man” Eddie looks over, fear evident on his face “Her arms and legs fucking snapped and she was on my ceiling, it was like she was -”

“Possessed” Billy finished

“Yeah” Eddie shakes his head “Fuck, man, I was the last person to be seen with her and you know my reputation round here”

Billy’s not really sure how to respond but they end up at Reefer Rick’s place. Billy’s been here a couple of times before and Rick is…a character to say the least. He follows Eddie into the boat shed and then they just sit for a bit.

Eddie breaks the silence by telling Billy the story of what happened in the trailer. About Chrissy going to buy drugs from him - the biggest surprise to Billy if he’s being honest - and how all the lights were fucked and then she was in a trance he couldn’t snap her out of. It sounds insane and Billy would think this is some prank if he hadn’t gone through his own bout of terror only months earlier.

“There wasn’t a mall fire” Billy says after Eddie had finished his story “I mean, there was but that’s not the full story”

Eddie looks up at him with curious eyes and seems to understand that maybe Billy understood what happened more than he realised.

“Do you know what happened to Chrissy?” he asks

“I don’t know” Billy shakes his head “I don’t even really know what happened to me because no one will tell me”

“What happened to you?”

“I was possessed. I crashed my car outside the steel mill and this monster dragged me down and it went inside my mouth” Billy sniffs, turning away so Eddie wouldn’t see him cry. “I couldn’t get away and when I did I was in Hawkins but it wasn’t Hawkins”

Eddie is listening so intently that it momentarily stuns Billy. No one has ever paid this much attention while listening to him before. It gives him the confidence to keep on going because he’s never had anyone to talk about this until now.

“Sometimes I was myself but I have huge gaps of memory loss. I think I killed people” Billy whispers that last part “Like Heather, except I have no memory of it”

“Like Chrissy?” Eddie asks, leaning in closer.

Billy shakes his head, “I don’t know, I-I-I it made me try and bring him one of Max’s friends, El”

“Mike’s girlfriend?”

“Yeah”

“Thought she was fake” Eddie muses and the sincereness makes Billy burst into unexpected laughter. “But fuck, are you like, okay?”

“No” Billy wipes at his eyes “She saved me with her mind, she was in my head”

“What like…a psychic?”

“I don’t know” Billy replies, he lays down in the canoe and Eddie lies next to him, head next to his “She showed me my mum, before she left me”

“Oh”

“Yeah” Billy sighs “I was impaled by this creature and nearly died and still no one is telling the full story”

They lay there for what could be hours. Sometimes they chat but mostly they lie in silence, pulling the tarp over when they hear unfamiliar and sudden sounds. Billy’s never had a sleepover before but he imagines this is what they’re like, maybe not hiding in a shed in a canoe but he’ll take what he can get.

They awake to the sounds of birds and the sun shining through the trees and making the dust spiral in front of their eyes. Billy had managed to turn onto his side and now his body is aching. He didn’t bring his medication and his body is telling him so.

“Morning, sunshine” he jokes “Comfy?”

“No” Billy mumbles “I don’t have my meds and I’m in fucking agony”

“Right” Eddie nods “The whole monster impaling you. Was kinda hoping that was a dream, Chrissy too”

“I wish it was”

Billy slowly climbs out of the canoe, groaning as his scars pull and he does some soft stretches that he’s been assigned.

Eddie sits up and watches Billy stretch. He makes no comment when Billy’s shirt rides up and reveals the tail end of scars on his lower stomach. Neither made no move to find breakfast, still too worked up from the night before.

They chat idly, making a point to avoid all topics of last night and instead discuss the new Metallica single in depth. Billy already knows Eddie has pretty much mastered it on his guitar whether he wanted to listen to it or not, luckily he did want to hear it.

The sudden sound of car doors slamming have both of them diving back under the covers and holding their breaths. It’s gotten darker outside and the two of them crouch even further down as the boat shed doors open and multiple footsteps walk in. Someone picks up something next to them and Billy frowns when he hears Max’s voice. Of course it has something to do with her.

Before he can tell Eddie who it is, he’s grabbing a broken beer bottle and leaping out. Billy in a hurry follows and manages to grab him around the waist, sending both of them to the dirty ground in a pile. Eddie yells as he falls and Billy lets out an ‘oof’ as he lands on top of him awkwardly.

Billy looks up to see not just Max but Steve, Robin and who he thinks is Dustin staring at the two of them in shock.

“Uh” Steve starts to say something but is cut off by Max.

“Billy, what the fuck are you doing here?” Max asks “I thought you were at home!”

“Long story” Billy mutters, using the canoe as a leverage to stand up.

“Really long,” Eddie adds.

“Yeah” Steve drags the word out “About that”

“We can explain everything” Dustin says to Eddie

“Great” Eddie nods “Why don’t you start explaining everything from the start to Billy here, after he, you know, saved your little magical friends life”

Max, Dustin, Steve and Robin all look at one another as Billy stands there with his arms crossed and Eddie’s hand on his shoulder, a fierce look on his face.

“We’re waiting” Eddie sings sarcastically “Don’t be shy now, Billy deserves to know what he almost died for”

Brief Background: Heather was the youngest of three children, named after her paternal grandmother. Her older brothers were twins. Chase and Tucker were always very protective of her, taught her how to fight, and the three of them were as thick as thieves.

Ever since she was a child, she wanted to be a nurse, believing she would be  since she would get to be more hands on with her patients. During her senior year, she got married to her college sweetheart, Greg. Sadly, even though she accomplished her dream of becoming a registered nurse, tragedy stuck in her life three years later.

Her brothers joined the army after graduating from high school. Tucker died during his deployment to Iraq...and Greg, after getting arrested for a DUI, was fired from his job and became abusive.

Chase had moved down to Florida, and after a particularly bad fight with her husband, Heather called up her big brother, sobbing. He immediately made the drive back up to North Carolina to get her.

Heather went back to using her maiden name socially as she never legally changed it. She lives in the same apartment complex as Chase, but she has her own apartment. She has a chocolate lab named Oreo.

Personality: Slightly guarded, a little slow to trust on a personal level, and private about her life before moving down to Florida, but she has a heart of gold, very compassionate, and nurturing. She is known for having a very warm and gentle bedside manner.

Heather is the younger sister of Tucker and Chase Mills, a jaeger-pilot duo from the States. She was working as an E.R. nurse when they moved to Hong Kong to the Shatterdome. After Tucker's death during a kaiju attack, Chase stayed on as an instructor, with Heather working with the medical staff.

slept in the blue room 1st time last night having slept in the kitchen ever since the 11th of April fine morning but feels cold F49° at 8 35 – thinking of spending next winter at Naples with A- or not  musing about letting her slip off or doing it myself  what real comfort shall I ever have in her? Breakfast at 9 ¾ having been with A- and Mr. Horner criticizing his sons’ copy of the 4 Sutherland children given to A- by Mrs. Heap (Hannah Mrs. Sutherland’s old housekeeper) – all the morning till 3 pm with Bligh and Robert the 2 York joiners packing the furniture of the red room and all that was stuffed into its closet in the kitchen chamber – the ceiling of the library passage taken down yesterday as also that of my uncles’ room – the red room ceiling to be taken down tomorrow – the 2 outside York joiners fitting up the ceiling joists over the staircase – called down about 12 or after to Mr. George Bates and a young man with him about the estimate for the Listerwick pentrough – they had had no note from Mr. Harper to say the job (pen-trough and rolling clow) was let – I said I had had another estimate with which I was satisfied and that I understood Mr. Harper meant to write to this effect – but that as he had not written I supposed the job not yet let – I had not heard that it was – and Mr. B- might send in another estimate if he pleased to me – if the job was let, the estimate should be returned unopened or I would open it, and keep it but not shew or mention it to Mr. Harper or anyone – I mentioned my own calculation that I could do the pentrough complete wood (about rather less than 30 deals) iron bolts and labour for £40 – and (of course) I thought £70 too much for the rolling clow – besides, a governor would be wanted – as to the mill, it seems they (too) had heard it was not to be built – I said I would say nothing [on] to tat but that Mr. Husband had not been authorized to say it was not to be built – he had orders to get estimates – and estimates were still ordered and would be given in when Mr. Harper came next, the 25th instant he had named – he supposed that day being Sunday, he would be here on the 26th – Mr. Bates must use his discretion as to giving in another estimate for the mill corn grinding machinery  or not – they staid about an hour – It seemed to be their opinion that there would not be power enough to keep the 5 pair of stone constantly going without a steam engine – after they went in the kitchen chamber again till 3 – then out (A- rode to Cliff hill) 1st time today – in the quondam saddle now mangle room into which John B- and Booths’ labourer Gray had sided all the things from the coach house (is-to-be laundry) chamber then in the Lodge road with Robert and co. and the gardener sodding up and finishing about the glen bridge – the heather sodding finished this morning, and the rests of the road levelled – and the hay-barn foundations finished dressing – Zebedee and the jobbing-cart (gin horse) carrying sods and Frank carting from Hipperholme quarry for Booth – Charles Howarth off at 3 this morning with Mark Hepworth to Leeds for deals and 1 oak log and back about 6 – dinner at 7 5 – coffee at 8 – little Mary at vamps and went to bed at 8 ¾ - then skimmed over the newspaper – Letter from Messrs. Hammersley containing my account (cr. on the 16th January last since when nothing paid for me £97.11.7 better than I expected – a full ½ sheet franked by Lord James Stuart from Lady Stuart Richmond Park – till 11 wrote the above of today very fine day F43° now at 11 pm A- has just been with me ten minutes or more – at accounts till 12 5

Am I the only one that like hates it when Instagram post have a battle of the Beatles wives? Like I seriously don’t get why people seriously fight who’s the “superior” group the Beatles “first wives” (Jane isn’t a wife but she’s always  associated with the first wives) and the “second wives” (Linda is oddly  associated with the second wives even tho she’s Paul’s first wife). Like that’s just kinda stupid and wrong, at the end they all helped (besides Heather Mills) the boys out and they’re muses to beautiful songs.

It’s really annoying. People need to stop acting like they’re in competition with each other
