@tsukkiakarii / closed starter.
and the wind had an ugly whistle to it whenever the angel showed its face. eternally caught between leaving wallace behind, and searching endlessly for him, it was only natural that its influence grew more and more dangerous as it grew more desperate to see his face again.
flames flickered nearby, lights illuminating the scenery went out. it was with her shadow growing larger, and larger with each light that died away, that he finally steps out from it and shows his face.
and it was with a pained and vulnerable expression, it makes a contorted sound of pain, “you’re... not… him…”

The Invisible Man and The Phantom of the Opera
prompt: universal classic monster headcanon
The Invisible Man:
does your muse feel unseen by the people around them? do they find it difficult to make others take notice of them? how does being ignored / unnoticed make them feel?
"Why doesn't anyone notice me!?"
A trait that long ago attracted Cherubimon to Kouichi... the feeling of horrible loneliness, and consequent anger. Abandoned by his father to raise his brother, left to watch his mother work herself to the bone by his grandmother's passing away - the spirits of darkness were given to Kouichi because he felt lonely, and was angry about it.
Darkness as an element is concealing and hides knowing, and not knowing is scary. And since I love writing about the effects of the elements as themes, I like to headcanon that Kouichi is very 'fade-in-the-background' and easy to miss. I like to think that Kouichi makes himself unseen so as not to be a burden (especially for his mother), and the spirits of darkness fuel this ability. But the consequence is that Kouichi feels left behind, abandoned, lonely, and angry...
The kicker being that Kouichi can only blame himself.
The Phantom of the Opera:
what aspect of your muse do they think is hardest for people to accept? do they try to keep it secret / are they afraid of being ostracized if it’s found out?
"Why don't they hate me? Even I hate me."
The intensity of emotion Kouichi experiences.
Kouichi wanted so badly to fix his family that he stalked and chased after his brother to the point of landing himself in the hospital. He hated Kouji to the point of trying to kill him. Then when they finally met, Kouichi was willing to die rather than to betray his twin. And when told he was just a spirit, Kouichi was so despondent that he sacrificed himself thinking that he wouldn't get to live anyway.
Such deep feelings and the dramatic actions Kouichi takes based upon them - I don't think he would be surprised if he was not accepted based on those aspects. He tries to hide it - doesn't tell Kouji about what's bothering him, but probably for more complicated reason than just fear of being ostracized. Surely he would be afraid to be abandoned based on his trauma with his father - and though Kouichi might try to hide his true self, the emotions he feels are so strong that they shine through.

Frontiers Unexplored Added Scenes Guide
While editing through my Digimon Frontier rewrite, I added a few scenes along the way. Now that the editing process is finished, here's a complete guide to all of the scenes that were added over the last few months. Warning for spoilers under the cut.
Chapter Twenty-Two: Built of Starlight Added Scene: Lyramon and Duskmon speak about the discovery of the Beast Spirit of Cosmos. They prepare to claim it alongside Fioremon and Oceaniamon, clashing verbally along the way due to their differences in ideology.
Chapter Twenty-Two: Built of Starlight Added Scene: Fioremon reflects on the final chance she has been given. Cherubimon's ultimatum rings heavily in her ears before she sets off to fight the Legendary Warriors, albeit hesitantly and while praying for salvation.
Chapter Twenty-Two: Built of Starlight Added Scene: Lyramon orders Duskmon and Oceaniamon to retreat from the forest as Fioremon faces off against the Legendary Warriors. Duskmon attempts to push back, but Lyramon leaves Fioremon's fate in her own hands and leaves alongside the other Fallen Warriors.
Chapter Twenty-Four: Frozen Flower Added Scene: Lyramon thinks about Fioremon's departure from the group and how the Warrior of Wood was able to make their own path. They silently deliberate on following her lead and defecting from Cherubimon's army but hold back for the sake of their own safety.
Chapter Twenty-Eight: Rise and Return Added Scene: In a flashback sequence, Lyramon and Duskmon finally cut ties. Duskmon departs with Koji as Lyramon takes the remainder of the Legendary Warriors captive alongside Oceaniamon. Lyramon mentions Duskmon's failing humanity and how becoming Digimon is causing them to become beasts just like him.
Chapter Thirty: Sea of Fragility Added Scene: Lyramon thinks about how they led Oceaniamon to her defeat and subsequent purification after being granted new strength by Cherubimon. They contemplate how they can be brought into the Risen Warriors' ranks without arousing Cherubimon's suspicions, knowing that is the only place they may be truly happy.
Chapter Thirty-Three: Deteriorating Shadow Added Scene: Now purified, Saki muses on how their desires to leave the Beast army have been fulfilled. Despite this, they have no idea how to proceed and wonder when they grew to be so aimless.
Chapter Thirty-Four: Fierce Blizzard Added Scene: The Legendary Warriors arrive at the train station the Burgemon have come to call home and introduce themselves, leading to brief banter between the Warriors and their temporary hosts.
Chapter Thirty-Four: Fierce Blizzard Added Scene: Wandering through the Digital World after being defeated, Malkakomon hears Cherubimon's voice in his head. The Celestial Digimon tells him about strength and weakness and how they connect with the broken Fallen Warrior of Darkness.
Chapter Thirty-Five: Collapse of Calamity Added Scene: Before the group sets off for the next leg of their journey, Yumiko speaks with the Burgemon briefly to thank them for their kindness.
Chapter Forty-One: Rebirth of Light Added Scene: The Royal Knights convene briefly to speak about their plans for the Digital World. At the end of their strategy meeting, they decide to split up and take care of the Digital World separately.
Chapter Forty-One: Rebirth of Light Added Scene: Koichi is approached by Saki, who wants to talk about their previous clashes from when Koichi was a Fallen Warrior and the issues found therein.
Chapter Forty-Seven: Angelic Petals Added Scene: Takuya's party from Flavo and Chihiro's group from Flame Terminal finally reunite and express relief at seeing one another again.
Chapter Forty-Seven: Angelic Petals Added Scene: Leopardmon and Alphamon encounter one another by chance and briefly speak of their progress in destroying the Digital World in the name of Lucemon's revival.
Chapter Fifty: Fall of the Knights Added Scene: Takuya briefly speaks with Saki before the party sets out for the next leg of their journey to find the other half of their divided team.

Exodus Lore: the Legendary Warriors, Holy Angels, and Great Demon Lords
So, since this will be relevant to any Warrior, Holy Angel, or Demon Lord muses who chose to interact with either of my Exodus (blog main) verses, I wanted to put this out there and clear up the exact history of these important figures in the history of Exodus, and Lucemon’s relationships to all of them. I will touch briefly on the Knights, as well. But as we have less set in stone for them, their lore is much looser and more open.
As in Frontier, Lucemon existed long before the Warriors did. They were one of the first beings to come into existence aside from the those who existed in the primordial soup of the Digital World (while this does include the data that makes up the Warriors, they did not exist in their individual forms as we know them, so Lucemon as an individual entity is older).
Lucemon is the youngest in an original Pantheon of angels which included such beings as the Holy Trinity, along with some less historically preserved characters such as Bagramon.

(x)
The full list of angels in the original Pantheon (as of right now; more may be added later), is as follows:
Lucemon - Lucemon FM
Seraphimon - Seraphimon Fallen - Daemon
Ophanimon - Ophanimon Fallen - Lilithmon
Cherubimon - Cherubimon Vice - Belphamon
Holydramon - Barbamon
Marinangemon - Leviamon
Valkyrimon - Beelzemon
Bagramon - Bagramon Fallen
Hartmon - Morrigumon
Rasielmon - Grandracmon
Dominimon - Gulfmon
Guardiangemon - unfallen
Clavisangemon - unfallen
Darcmon - unfallen
Mastemon - status unknown
These angels were a product of Drasil wanting a justice system for the Digital World. This is the group who was charged with ending the Human-Beast War, the resolution of which was most heavily credited to Lucemon. But due to several defecting in various ways over several centuries, the majority of the original Pantheon was culled, the strongest seven being branded with the Seals of Sin. These are the mons who would go down in history as the Seven Great Demon Lords.

(x)
The two exceptions to those strongest mons who were branded were Bagramon, and Rasielmon, as they were the first to be cast out for distributing the X-Antibody throughout the Digital World during the X-Death era, and were not among those who took part in the first Great War of Heaven.
The Royal Knights were made to compensate for this massive loss in security programming, with far less free will than the Angels ever had, to avoid another mass rebellion. The Holy Trinity (second generation) of angels was re-created, as well. Though they served more as a symbol of the Light in the Digital World and figureheads of peace, and had little actual duty to the Digital World as a whole aside from their appointed role as “peace keepers.” All of these new mons were individually less powerful than the original Pantheon, as well, to avoid any one of them growing too strong. However, this does make any one-to-one fight against one of the Fallen entirely skewed in the Fallen’s favor. This is why the Knights were created to function as a unit.
The Warrior Ten did not come into existence until well into the Demon Lords’ campaign against Drasil, at which point they were not called the Warriors. They were initially theorized by some to be a product of the Sovereigns, but while they both seemed to emerge from the same raw data of the world, the Warriors showed no servitude toward them as the Devas did. So common Digimon as well as the Demon Lords and related mons were left without a proper explanation for these unique and quite powerful new Digimon.

(x)
Perhaps surprisingly, at first the Demon Lords and the Warriors did not have qualms with each other. The Warriors saw themselves as protectors of the natural world, and the Demon Lords saw themselves as protectors of the spiritual world. And unlike the Royal Knights, the Warriors had no obligation to Drasil, and hardly interacted with it at all. As long as their World was not threatened, the Warriors had no reason to fight with the Demon Lords or anyone else.
The conflict arose after Bagramon’s disappearance from the Dark Area at the hands of the Royal Knights. Lucemon, the youngest but most ambitious member of the original Pantheon, was crowned King of the Dark Area, and given the role of ruler in Bagramon’s absence. With their progenitor, a mon they considered the champion of those cast away by the world at large, missing at the hand of Drasil’s underlings, Lucemon was beyond enraged. They vowed to take down Drasil by any means necessary, even if that meant becoming a god themselves.
Lucemon set on a mission to become the strongest and wisest Digimon in existence. This started with a war to conquer the entirety of the world itself, which progressed with terrifying success on the part of the Demon Lords. This is when the initial concern began among the Warriors. However, they did not escalate into full-out warfare until Lucemon began to devour parts of the world to feed their power-- threatening not only what they protected, but their very existence.
They fought long and hard against Lucemon, and were the first enemy to truly slow their progress. With Lucemon’s immense following and ever-rising power, the Knights were no longer any match. They had long achieved the title of strongest individual Digimon in the Digital World, and were slowly attempting to rise above their god status to take on the Core Kernel. And along with this overflow of power, Lucemon’s sanity began to wane as they took greater and greater risks. The Warriors knew not of the finer workings of Heaven, and only that their home was being destroyed, and the curator of all this destruction needed to be stopped.
But then, they hit a plateau. They were able to stop Lucemon from devouring what was left of the world, but Lucemon had far surpassed their power and was getting closer and closer to attacking the code of the universe directly. With no other options, they reached out to legends of old. it had been told that the Sovereigns had become gods through the partnership of humans-- beings from an entirely different world. And with the entire world on the line, the Warriors sent out a desperate plea for help. A group of children answered the call, coming to the Warriors’ sides in battle, and aiding them in achieving their utmost power.
It all came to a head when the Warriors confronted Lucemon as one unit. Lucemon had been planning their final attack on Drasil, despite several of the Demon Lords defecting from the cause due to Lucemon’s growing insanity. And when the Warriors confronted them, they were caught completely off-guard. How this was achieved has been lost to history. But the fight went down with the Warriors having the advantage of preparation. To give them even more of a leg-up in the battle, Lucemon had long been neglecting their physical and physiological needs for favor of absorbing raw data, and they had grown unsteady. However, this did not take away from their godly power, the affects of which would leave the Warriors severely damaged, some being mortally injured in the battle. Lucemon was only brought down when the children merged the Warriors’ spirits into Susanoomon, who was finally able to defeat Lucemon and lock their data away in the Core of the Dark Area - the condensed heart of the Digital World from which Yggdrasil's roots grew. Lucemon was damaged so severely in the battle, that the data they had stolen from the world left their form, and returned to the Digital World, making it whole once again.
However, many of the Warriors did not survive the battle. All except AncientGreymon and AncientGarurumon perished in the hours after the battle ended, and their spirits reverted into totems which the two remaining Warriors kept very close to them. These two would be the ones to send the children back to the Human World. They would remain for several more decades, acting as the world’s Last Guardians and bringing down a few other major threats who arose in Lucemon’s wake while the world rebuilt itself. Then, once their lives were also spent, their spirits reverted into totems, as did the others. These totems were later sought out and gathered by the Royal Knights, and ordered under lock and key by Drasil to prevent anyone form gaining access to them.
As for the other Demon Lords, the ones who remained to fight were scattered about. Belphamon was knocked down to one of his lower forms, and disappeared some time after the battle was over. Lilithmon vanished before the battle started-- an occurrence Lucemon blamed on the Warriors. Leviamon was sealed in a cavern in the deepest ocean by AncientMermaimon, left in eternal darkness. Daemon abandoned the fight mid-battle, seeing that Lucemon would lose; he has planned to absorb Lucemon’s data, but was prevented from doing so when the Warriors sealed them away. Barbamon was defeated and slunk off to a cave in a mountain in the far reaches of the Digital World, where he grew his hoard and avoided the average populous. Beelzemon had left long before the battle started, wanting to part in Lucemon’s tyrannical conquest. Many of them remained trapped for eons before eventually being released by one method or another. The rest simply remained in the shadows, the fallout from the lost battle so great that they knew the world would never accept them.

Lucemon remained in the Dark Area for four thousand years, and was presumed dead by most of the world. Drasil would rewrite and retell history several times over the course of the years, going as far as to hard reset the world and erase the memory of everyone on the mortal and sometimes celestial levels, as humans continued to find their way into the Digital World despite its best efforts. The Dark Area and the Core within, however, were immune to these resets, and the denizens therein would remember everything. There are very few Digimon who can recount the history of the Digital World as it really happened, and even fewer who are willing to talk about it. This has left most of the world without a proper history of the Digital World. A Monoshiri book dictating events prior to the culling of the Pantheon does exist under Belphamon’s possession, but was left in Old Heaven and was only recovered when Lucemon took back that location during the war. Belphamon used this time to add events he had been recording from the past several eras to the book, before it was once again wrenched from his hands. The book has been lost ever since, likely hidden away somewhere in the ruins of Old Heaven-- a location not considered to exist at all by the Digital World at Large. A copy of this book does exist in the hands of modern High Scribes (such as Bokomon), but this is not the original book. If you ask and of the original Pantheon, you will get accounts from varying viewpoints which vary wildly from what commonly circulated history books say.
The shifting of power and intrusion of humans continues to this day in the Digital World, the latest being the rise of eaters in the Digital World. Drasil has blamed this on human involvement, and remains adamant that humans do not belong in the Digital World.

[03 - After The Re:encounter]
He opened the door of his dad’s office room after everyone had left the house, holding a few packages and juice boxes so he could feed the other two. It was like dealing with pets except said pets can eat human food.
Ulforce was still sleeping in the couch, with Natsu in her digimon form on his back. A very adorable scene, except that Daichi had to wake them up.
“Uh, good morning?”
The digimon duo opened their eyes slowly, sitting one next to the other on the couch.
“Man, I’ve been sleepin’ on the cold solid ground of a cave so this whole royal treatment is so good!” Ulforce chirped, smiling “Huh? What’s this? Food?”
“Uh, yeah… I couldn’t cook something without my mom and Kiyoko asking me about the quantity of food so… I brought some snacks and juice.”
“Oh, I miss eating those!!” Natsu cried “It brings me so many good memories…”
“Y-you’ve eaten those before, digi-girl?!” the blue digimon exclaimed.
“Daisuke and I had known each other for years…! I’m an honorary partner digimon of his.”
“That I didn’t know” Daichi seemed happier today “My dad always talked about you being an old friend of his and friends.”
“Mimi and Wallace were okay, but Vee was so jealous of me!”
“Is Vee my father’s partner digimon?” the boy asked “I thought he was just an employee from my dad’s restaurant…”
“Your dad’s partner is Vee, and he can be a little meanie compared to my loyalty to Daisuke.”
She wasn’t fine talking about another digimon, especially the one who didn’t like her at the beginning…
“You kiddin’?! He’s a legend!” Ulforce protested “He beat Chimeramon, Cherubimon Vice, Belial Vamdemon, Boltmon and Pukumon, and Diablomon’s highest form!”
“W-wow, this means… my father were in those stories?!” you can feel Daichi’s joy to hear his father had been a hero in the past.
“Not only him, but also other cool ‘mons too!” the draconian digi-child grinned, “All the Twelve are legendaries! You seem surprised, didn’t you hear about them?! They’re in the books and lore about our worlds as the ones who connected humans and digimons!”
“Um… My parents never had told me that. Actually, I didn’t even know the DigiWorld’s Ambassador was one of those most known heroes too… I’m not sure if I can tell Taisuke about that...”
“They had children” Natsu said vaguely “and they decided to not let anyone else know their identities and keep their children safe.”
That made sense, at least to Daichi.
“When the first kids of the Twelve had born, a lot of discussion between what to do and how to keep them safe happened. Then, Taichi and Daisuke decided they had to keep their identities as a secret and… Requested Homeostasis to do a soft reboot on the worlds. Their digimon kept being known, but the human partners of them got all data and memories deleted from most of the people and digimon’s heads.”
“So… No one knows the identity of the Twelve? But how can my father be controlled by the bad guys right now…?”
“I didn’t say ‘everyone’ but ‘most of them’ had their memories rebooted” she pouted “Some digimon and the Worldwide Chosen Children know their identities. Also them all had their memories untouched.”
“Man, that thing about reboots is annoyin’!!” Ulforce crossed his arms “Lots of stories got taken away! Not just that, but some don’t even believe they existed!”
“Thinking about that… That possibly happened with the first human children who fought for the DigiWorld…”
“So, my dad and ambassador Yagami weren’t the first…?”
She looked down.
“No, Taichi’s from the second generation and Daisuke from the third. The story of the first gen. is a bit of unknown… All we know is that four of their partners evolved into the Holy Beasts to fight the Four Dark Masters.”
“ENOUGH OF STORIES I WANT TO EAT!!” Ulforce roared nervously “I want those there! and that too! Aaah, human food! I’ve dreamed with this day!!”
------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Ugh, he’s spending more and more time inside without even taking a break to play with me!”
Kiyoko was not okay again, venting all of her frustrations to Taisuke and Eiji, the ones who she sees as her best friends. Despite of Eiji’s height, he’s twelve like Kiyoko, and only Taisuke is the youngest of the trio, being eleven years old.
“I don’t understand!”
“Have you tried to ask what’s bugging him?” Eiji mused “Sometimes asking is better than jumping to conclusions… I hope that’s not a little intrusive.”
“I tried!” she responded with some annoyance. She was upset with Daichi though, “Today mom left to work and then he just said ‘go play with your friends I have to study’ and… And…!!”
“He’s a meanie!” Taisuke interrupted her “Locking themselves in the office and not even coming to play with us at the park…!”
“Yeah, that!”
Though Eiji realized Taisuke wasn’t talking about Daichi only, but about someone else too…
“Who do they think they are?!” the youngest clenched his fist “They have no time for us, we’re like nothing to them?! I hate it!!”
“Yeah-- Uh, ‘they’ you mean…”
“Sigh, his father” Eiji answered “The ambassador is too busy lately and Taisuke spends more time at my house with my sister and me.”
“Oh… Yeah, I’ve heard the news” she frowned “There’s something big happening, some guys causing a fuss because of the digimon and some digimon causing a fuss because of us.”
“My dad is also busy…” he added “We barely see him these days.”
“I’m mad…!” Taisuke growled.
“At least you two aren’t hearing weird theories that my dad is dead and no one can admit that, like Daichi’s doing on a daily basis every time we talk...”
“We don’t relate to that issue but we feel sorry, Kiyoko.”
“Thanks Eiji…”
“I’d have said it’s okay to spend time studying, but honestly Daichi’s case is somehow unhealthy. Does he skip meals or pull all nighters?”
“Huh, not that I know… If he weren’t going to school I’d have said he has turned into a complete shut-in.”
“That’s a problem then… He needs to exercise at least once per day…”
“Why care about him,” Taisuke rolled his eyes “He chose that path. Let him face the consequences.”
“I don’t want to let Daichi’s health get bad…” she kept voicing her concerns “He’s definitely suffering the most with that anxiety about dad. Maybe we can do something?”
“... ‘we’ like, me and Eiji?!”
Eiji glanced at her and then started thinking of something. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the digimon finished their breakfast, them and Daichi started examining the mysterious D-TimeRune device given by Skuld. The boy explained then that the digivice’s design reminded him one of the several retro phones his best friend had collected.
But that made no sense to the blue digimon, since he never had seen said phone before and Daichi’s description of that sounded like a digivice to him while Natsu kept in silence. Daichi sighed, then changed the entire subject.
“I… I tried talking to mom about what we know but…”
“ ‘But’ …?”
“I lost courage,” he sighed.
“But you HAVE to tell her and Taichi!” Natsu wasn’t happy with that answer.
“I know, I know! But seems they’re too busy to hear me out!” he babbled “I can try to send him an e-mail or a voicemail… And try to talk with mom when she’s home from work tonight!”
“At this pace better you take me back to the DigiWorld so I can beat that--” Ulforce was threatened by Natsu’s deathly glare “--that m-man and then bring it back home f-for you, kid!”
“... mrs. Skuld said I can… Do something about that.”
He looked at the digivice.
“What if I use this power to prevent my dad from being captured?”
“H-Hold on, Daichi” the pink digimon gasped “You shouldn’t mess with space-time! Awful things happen to those who defy the laws of Space-Time.”
“How do you know that?” both Ulforce and Daichi frowned.
“... Feminine intuition.”
“But we can try… I won’t mess things enough to change the entire course of story!”
“Ryou, Taichi and Daisuke never messed with time, just traveled through parallel worlds. You messing with time might be worse than anything. You can end up destroying this world’s timeline or…”
“... Making me to not exist anymore?”
“Yes.”
“Whoa, wait can all of those happen?!” that V-mon definitely felt concerned with that idea.
“Natsu,” Daichi glared at her “If you had this power to save my father, would’ve you taken the chance to change his fate… Or would’ve you let him suffer and be seen as a traitor?”
“H-how do you know about that part… About him being accused of--”
“If he’s a hero and is working for the evil, then they will treat him as a traitor until proven otherwise. It’s logical. I don’t know if mom and ambassador Yagami think he’s innocent, but you do! We do!”
“Except Ulforce, though”
“I didn’t know he’s the kid’s father COME ON!!”
“But…” she looked at the boy with some concern in her face “I think it’s better to let the adults solve it. Have faith in your parents and Taichi, they will solve it--”
“I know my father is friends with Ambassador Yagami, but now that he’s on an important role, he will ignore boundaries and do what’s right for the digimon. He won’t go easy on dad, and might… Might do something wrong.”
“And why do you think that…?”
“Because as I remember, this is a threat to the human world and it might force Ambassador Yagami to put an end on this, by killing my dad.”
“... I think he wouldn’t--”
“No, he would. He’s a responsible adult, not a leader from a children’s group.”
“Hey, kid’s right” Ulforce added “If he let his mom and this Yagami-dude know about Lupinmon they gotta ground kid and do the wrong thing!”
Natsu felt conflicted. Especially because she knows Daisuke would’ve preferred her to keep Daichi and Kiyoko away from him to avoid misfortune, but on the other hand Daichi is the only one able to do something and save Daisuke.
“Please, Natsu!” Daichi begged her.
“I don’t know!!” she cried “Daisuke’s very important to me, but his children is also important! I can’t let you do something risky-- I...”
“My father would’ve done the same for me! I know it!”
Natsu’s imagination worked all again, her imagining Daisuke in front of her smiling and approving the idea of Daichi becoming a hero like him. It made her eyes shine and she nodded her head many times that the boy and blue digimon felt scared.
“LET’S GO!” she yelled “To save your father and the worlds!”
“But kid needs a partner digimon first, doesn’t he?” Ulforce looked at the digivice and then to Daichi, “This means he needs to… Return there.”
“Let’s go,” the boy nodded “If I get partnered with a digimon, I can save my father.”
“... I can’t be your partner” Natsu looked away “I can’t, sorry.”
“Who’s sayin’ it will be you!?” Ulforce pouted “Also why would he pick you!?”
“I understand” Daichi smiled “You don’t want to fight my father, is it?”
“... Let’s say it's that.”
“Then, you won’t be forced to! Now let’s go to the Digital World, I will find a digimon who’s willing to fight alongside me and then save my father and the the world.”

The Digimon Movie Muses : Muse Summaries.
This is just part one, as I want to get in depth for each of my muses. This is purely for the digimon that appear in the OVA and first movies, and I'll continue for the other Digimon when I have the time.
part i (you are here). part ii.
tw for abuse mentions for koro.

koro/koromon :
a digimon oc, based on the red greymon that appears in the first digimon movie/OVA.
she began life under the care of her original tamer, who had hatched her and raised her as a small koromon, then later, a small agumon. her tamer suffered an abusive relationship with her father.
having witnessed her tamer's ugly treatment, she eventually came to physically change into a large dragon-like dinosaur, known as greymon. koro is much larger than other greymons, purely fueled by the need to protect her tamer from her family.
however, from the sheer size of koro - where they lived collapsed on itself, and her tamer was crushed by the building alongside koro, who turned back into data.
later, in the digimon OVA, koro is reborn through the main characters' Hikari and Taichi's computer - coming out of the screen as a large egg.
koro did not remember her previous tamer's fate, and soon came to befriend them. they played, they had fun, and koro even got into a fight with their pet cat. however, as she evolved into a koromon, and later, an agumon, her memories slowly came back to her.
she soon fled the building where Taichi and Hikari lived, going through their city in a fit of confused and volatile rage, attacking whoever came in her way. she was angry, she was hurt - she missed her old tamer.
however, as a threat emerges in the form of a second egg appearing as parrotmon, koro is effectively brought back to who she was - a friend, to whoever had the generosity to care for her.
she fights the parrotmon, eventually being struck down and placed into a near-death state as greymon once more.
however, through taichi's call out to her through his sister's trusty whistle, she regains consciousness and kills the parrotmon trying so hard to kill her friends.
having used all her power, she disappears into data once more, returning to the digiworld as a lone greymon. hikari in particular calls out to her, as she is left to stay in the digital world alone.
cherubimon vice :
disclaimer: this interpretation is pure headcanon. in the movie the reason behind chocomon's disappearance is kept vague, but this is just how i've interpreted events.
the dark-digivolved form of chocomon in the movie hurricane touchdown, based solely on the 2024 redub.
chocomon was hatched by the young boy named wallace, being born as a twin digimon (his twin becoming the digimon known as gummymon, and later terriermon).
gummymon and chocomon were inseparable. they both loved wallace and wanted to have fun together, always. chocomon adored wallace, and he was so happy to be alongside him.
however, as wallace describes, chocomon disappeared one day. this was from an encounter with a virus that infected him, causing his emotions concerning wallace to contort and twist and corrupt.
from the effect of the virus, chocomon noticed every time wallace gave more attention to gummymon. he saw them as a team, that over time, he was becoming less and less of a part of.
as time passed and the virus grew within, chocomon grew envious of his twin and started to feel isolated within their small group.
so one day, he simply disappeared. separating from them to evolve into something much more corrupted. as wallace goes searching for him over the course of years, he finally finds him and gummymon, now a terriermon, immediately goes in to attack (thinking chocomon was going to attack wallace in turn).
as the meetings between wallace, terriermon, and chocomon become more frequent, he (chocomon) becomes more and more twisted in his line of thinking. he thinks if wallace is turned back into a child - the child who raised and loved him - that they will go back to normal and chocomon can be loved again. between meetings, he kidnaps the first group of teens and absorbs them into his body, robbing them of their age and turning them back to children.
and with every single one he captured, he looked at their face, hoping he'd finally absorbed wallace and turned him back into who he used to be.
but chocomon was lonely, and the more digimon that faced him and showed how much they loved their tamers, and their tamers in turn, loved them, he grew more angry and violent.
eventually evolving into andiramon and later cherubimon (vice), he remains in pain from his isolation. he just wanted to be loved, but from the birth of the virus within, he became more and more blind to it. cherubimon being the final evolution, with immense power, he stands against them completely and utterly alone - the reality being that said loneliness was a result of his actions, and not his virus.
terriermon :
the twin of chocomon/cherubimon in the movie hurricane touchdown, based solely on the 2024 redub.
gummymon was hatched by the young boy named wallace, being born as a twin digimon (his twin becoming the digimon known as chocomon, and later cherubimon).
gummymon and chocomon were inseparable. they both loved wallace and wanted to have fun together. gummymon loved wallace more than anything, and promised to always protect him.
however, as wallace describes, chocomon disappeared one day. this was from an encounter with a virus that infected him, but terriermon didn't know that. he thought he just changed one day, and now before they knew it, they were enemies. he could only see chocomon as something unrecognisable; he was not the brother he knew and loved.
currently, he travels alongside wallace searching for his twin. they occasionally have encounters where terriermon is left with no other choice but to defend his tamer, but he is determined to protect him always, even at the cost of his brother's life.

how many Digimon have you been inside? ever bring any friends?
:’) Oh boy, here we go!
So my Digidestined OC/insert/muse, Charissa, has canon been in quite a few digimon!
The first she was ever eaten by proper was her teammate Arkadimon--before then she had always considered and daydreamed about vore, and he was always one of her big vore squishes and the one who made it come true. Of course they researched and learned about everything thoroughly so they could be safe, but that was the gateway to all her funny vore adventures! She’s been eaten by many of her close friends/surrogate family and teammates, and of course her human darling too! Under the hashtag “my writing” or “my post” there should be some fun little examples, or you can always ask about specific digis! She’s also brought friends before, namely other of her friends who are prey as well--including Cherubimon Virtue (degenerating down to Lopmon), (Carrot Cake) Shortmon, Magnadramon (degenerating to Gatomon), and on at least two occasions her partner Beelzemon/Impmon, though he was extremely unhappy about it. “bad end”
Send me “bad end” for an alternate, dark/tragic ending to my muse’s story
@hackerxadam
(have an old fic)
Standing on the sidelines. He had been told — asked to do it, and that was where he had done something wrong. He should’ve been out there, fighting, but instead, he listened, and the only one fighting made the biggest decision.
The one battling had gone to his final form of Evolution and was taking on the enemy, head to head. His breathing ragged, and half of his armor gone, shattered into Digital specs. Gone. As Kouichi watched, he saw the enemy take the Warrior’s head in his huge hand, laughing as he did so.
Their enemy had a smirk on his face, clenching the head firmly in his grip, lifting the final force of good into the air, his feet hanging high off the ground. “Little Warrior, how foolish to attack me on your own.” The larger body almost rippled when he laughed yet again, watching as the Human turned Digimon squirmed in his grip.
Gritting his teeth was the hardest thing to do, especially when a giant hand covered his face, about stopping his ability to breathe, and just about sticking his throat. His windpipe was squeezed, though he managed to grind out words faintly. “I will not let you take him back. You are an evil that must perish!”
Watching from afar still, the Warrior of Darkness hid behind a rock pile, as he had been told to do, and asked just before the Warrior had gotten caught. He gripped a piece of the rock in his hand, holding it so hard, it soon turned to dust. Agony flared in his red eyes, and he was helpless, for now. He could do nothing. His pride was making him keep his promise he’d stay put.
The lump of Evil shook again, this time his jaws opened wide, as black spilled forth, turning into orbs of nothingness that circled the captive. They bumped his armor, and body at moments, and the pained screaming rang across the area, making the hand clamp harder, trying to muffle the shrieks. “You Humans are far too brittle, even as Digimon, you are weak.”
Blue eyes burned defiantly, staring through cracks in the fingers as he was bombarded. His teeth struggling to open. “I…will..finish…it.” Ever hopeful he could get out, the Warrior gazed with a glare of triumph. He was the last to stand against it, the shadow over the Digital World, and he’d defeat it, even if it meant risking his life.
Kouichi’s mind felt like breaking. He should be there too, at least with two the one now….he wouldn’t be captured….His knees gave and he fell, eyes wide, as tears broke from his red eyes. Through his experiences with the others, he had gained something he had lost, a heart, and a little soul. Even if only a tiny bit, he had it. And he was cursing it, it was making him feel horrible over the events taking place before his very eyes. It was too much, and he did all he could to hold back his screams and sobs.
Soon, the one held captive felt his energy give, and he reverted back to his Human self, his weak, and ever more helpless body, so fragile. His icy eyes still glared as blood ran down his forehead, and between them. He was pale, and quickly losing the will to stay awake, the crushing grip on his skull becoming too much. With his final moments, he said his final words. “Cherubimon.” He rasped, drawing quick, painful breaths as he laid his struggling and trembling hands on the Digimon’s hand clutching his head. “You will fall….Not to me, it seems, but I know you will…” His last acts of heroism, they were all for something though, or so the dying Warrior thought as he slowly drew breath. He had someone who could combat the evil, that very someone he told to hide.
Cherubimon’s form shook, only once more as his laughter rang out, dull and lifted by the Darkness. “You will fall Warrior, and it seems like he will be powerless.”
Steeling himself, he glared at the beastly enemy, one last time. His eyes said ‘I may die, but he will live. You cannot have him.’ At that moment, the Digimon wrapped his other hand around the body of the almost perished Warrior, and he twisted and pulled.
The sounds drove Kouichi mad and he huddled down, wishing he didn’t have to hear his savior dying. 'Just make it stop!’ He screamed in his head, he wanted quiet. A sickening RIP! was heard, and bones splitting apart. He dared to get up and look, how wrong he was to do so.
The sight made his stomach flip, times over, and he felt like running, but his legs were glued. The boy’s lips parted, echoing an ever soundless scream, one of pain, and deep sadness. His eyes were as wide as they’d go, his whole body trembled.
Cherubimon had tossed it, the body, or rather, parts of the body. Kouichi saw it, and he couldn’t help but finally find his voice. And he screamed. “KOUJI!” The head, upper, and lower halves of the body were splayed out on the ground. Blood seeped into the ground, the lifeless head of the downed Warrior leaning toward the Warrior of Darkness. The boy gazed into the now lifeless blue eyes, they were dull, and half rolled up into the decapitated head. The short hair, much like his own, was ripped, matted with his own blood, it looked so out of place, he had always kept it looking so nice. His bandanna, it was on the ground as well, a short distance away from the head.
He wanted it, his twin’s head scarf. His eyes flickered over to the Digimon, who caught sight of him at last, grinning gleefully. “Kouichi, now you know true pain, and shall fall further into the Darkness. Enjoy your pain, because now you are the only one left.” With the final parting words, Cherubimon knew Kouji was now gone forever, and that Kouichi was in a state of disrepair. His once puppet was broken, and he had no further use for him. Retreating into the black, he laughed, mocking the boy’s pain.
His limbs gave and he fell forward. His collapse on the dirt made one thing clear. He could move, and that meant. The bandanna. Picking himself up, he ran at full speed toward his brother, or what remained. Crashing to his knees, he felt hollow, and forgot — or rather couldn’t breathe, he didn’t have to. His eyes were a stationary pool of nothing, he didn’t feel anymore, his feelings died with Kouji. His hands slid along the ground as if he couldn’t see. He didn’t wish to look upon the mess. Fingers found it, the tattered fabric that belonged to his kin. Grasping it, Kouichi clutched it to his chest and yelled a dark and hate-filled yell. Standing, he wrapped the bloodied mess of fabric around his neck, as a tribute.
What to now? His reason was gone…his ’life’ had been taken. Growing thick with malice, he shifted into Duskmon, stiffly breathing in and out. His weapons made themselves known, and he walked into the trees. Seconds later, screaming could be heard, and if one were to look, they’d find Duskmon, ravaging the land, killing Digimon and destroying everything. Also, one would see, that even as Duskmon, the fabric was tied around his hair, and there it stayed.

EVIL I (ouo)
Send “Evil I” for a twin verse where our muses are serial killers together
Their situation becomes a deadly cycle.
Kouji, blind to the world but for his brother, destroys anything and everything before him trying to reach Kouichi. But like the night fades from the day, Kouji could never quite catch his twin’s elusive shadow.
So Kouichi, caught in the clutches of Cherubimon, continued to play his part like a puppet on strings. Slipping away from the light in order to fulfill his deadly role, the warrior of darkness collected digimon souls as if in hopes the data would fill some hole.
Theirs was an awful dance where the end that justified the means was the only thing that separated their deeds.
Kouji, fighting for his family.
And Kouichi, warriong for attention.

Pokédex!: Cherubimon!!
Send in “Pokédex!” plus a Pokémon to see how my muse would describe that Pokémon! (accepting!)
[Cherubimon, a type of programmed creature that lives within the realms of computers. These are known as Digimon.]
[I worry about these 'Digimon' creatures as one could be living inside me right now...and I certainly hope they're not a virus!]
[This specimen allegedly has two forms...a white one that's benevolent and the purple one known as malicious. They don't seem to be able to swap between these forms and mentalities at will. Humans are similar in that aspect...for the most part.]
[But of course I do fear the purple one. May we not cross paths. My systems are not easily repaired, you know?]

Parade Meets Vempyremon
@fragmented-desire
The murky purple rabbit stepped free of a shallow tree line, not quite stepping, more bobbing, frame seemingly free of gravity. His body downright ignoring it, his eyes peering around as if looking for something until he spotted her. The Cherubimon gently extended a hand as it sparked to life with wires of electricity surging along his fingers and starting to collect in his palm. "I have heard of a creature that feasts on electricity, are you that creature?" he rolled his hand presenting it.
She watched the Cherubimon approach, cautious at first, unsure of what its intents were until fully revealing and extending a hand in her direction. Curiously, she tilted her head at the static that emanated from within his grasp. “… I might be.” That hand was easily large enough to crush her head within a single squeeze. Fortunately, his initial inquiry did not seem quite as threatening as she expected. “From where do you hail and why do you approach me?”
He paused at her question, the static around his hand suddenly dispersing itself in a light burst to nothingness “why was I doing this actually...” he mused to no one in particular before jerking to attention. “W-why? Um” he drifted back some weightlessly his arm pulled to his own chest giving a deep bow to the Vampire Digimon. “W-well I was mostly curious what kind of person this Digimon might have been!” his attitude didn’t seem to match his visage at all, a scatterbrained airhead of a goofball, but yet he seemed exceptionally formal, give or take a few mannerisms. “Parade, I’m Parade, it's very nice to meet you miss...” he paused as if trying to fish for her name.
