I was reminded today of my first encounter with that most elusive of creatures: the hot dork. I had a lab TA in college that I never once gave a second thought. He was a dork. I liked jocks. That was that. And then one day he was playing pickup soccer in the middle of campus as I was walking to class. He was 'skins' and he'd taken off his glasses. I was awestruck. He had a sleeper build that you wouldn't believe! It broke my mind that this guy was into both soccer and Magic: The Gathering. It made lab pretty uncomfortable the rest of the semester. I couldn't look at him without throwing a bone.
