The Walmart Version, Part 3

In November 1, 2023, Christin Nichols shared a video (I added the second part )

In that same exact day, November 1, after I posted this video, I received an ASK:

COINCIDENCE ? After I posted a video with the caption "Married woman cheating", starring Nichols and Letkowski ? Don't think so !

It was either Nichols, or Letkowski who sent me the "who are you ?"message. 100% sure.

Personal Note: It gives me the creeps that video, knowing it's him caressing her, and considering all I know, I just can't help to feel grossed out. And even more repulsed by knowing she's such a self proclaimed feminist who has shared many times about personal space and respect towards women...letting a man, a p*rn addict, that barely knows him for less than 2 years at the time... why choosing that moment to record a video ? What was the urgency ? Could you not wait until you go home and record it without him ? It was all planned. On purpose. That's why I don't believe any of that rehearsed, and fake speech. "Im a feminist, women support women and all that crap, until someone tells me the truth about someone I barely know, but nonetheless I defend him until I die ". NOPE, you either are or not, there's no middle ground. Pick a lane.

Also believe around this time, both were part of a photoshoot for their respective music projects, but I will make a separate post about that...

On November 12, 2023, Letkowski, Nichols, and other close people, including his daughter, were part of the filming of the music video for the song "Gleiches".

November 17: He wishes her a "happy release". BUT again, why posting these types of photos ? And not waiting for a different moment of the day ? He knew what he was doing.

November 24, 2023: He attends to the Christin Nichols gig in Hamburg. Note he's wearing a "pass". No paying here.

On December 4, I posted a comment on Christin Nichols Instagram account. My comment was something like "I don't understand how you , a very supportive , women-friendly person can be associated with such a misogynistic person such as Christoph Letkowski. He's in favour of women's objectification as long as it benefits from it...[..]"

That comment was deleted. I was sure that was going to happen. The thing I didn't foresee was that she sent me a follow request on IG. Then like 2 hours later, she spammed my posts in the comments with this:

Like I replied to him on YT, his words have a very clear sense of threat and sarcasm. The YT version is far more cheesy with the "I feel there is no bridge that can't be crossed if you decide to cross it with a PURE heart and good intentions.." *sighs*So cheeeeesy !!! Afer listening to the whole album, the kids line in AIW is probably the one line hat people could hold onto the most to make about Olivia, and we've been through that, it wasn't that bad, even shipers sounded a bit delusional trying to connect it, so I think we'll be fine in a way- as in it won't be worse than what they're already saying in general, so they'll be easy to ignore. personally, I see it as a win. Obviously it's abpout soemone he is/was in love with and no one ver find out, so to me it proves to everyone that Harry has a life outside the stupid articles and Miss Fivehead. I don't get why anyone would want to "debunk" that he's writing about a relationship and someone nobody knows yet very clearly is not miss happy happy. It's literally what we've been saying since day one, so enjoy the album and stop makig theories.

I got what I wanted personally, to listen to his musci without having to think of her and after this past year, it's a puff of fresh air.

I think it was a very very smart move on his part to not make this about her but I did not have that faith in him! I was betting against you my dude but I still think you’re an all around ass hat now!

La Plimbare put out one of the most interesting debuts of the year with her collages of field recordings from her vacation at the beach in Romania. I'm very excited about this artist, she has a great ear for the beautiful and mysterious that we hear in the world around us. Once these field recordings have made it through her filters, they're beautiful, but they start to reflect the frantic and conflicted world around us.

I'm so happy to present La Plimbare as our second guest mix. It's a refreshing mix of moods that will surprise you and tug your heart strings.

Her album was recently reissued on the wonderful ACR.

Your album is built on field recordings. Tell us a little bit about your approach and why you choose to work this way? I’ve never created music. But then I got a recorder and it felt like getting your first camera and I started recording whatever sounded interesting, out of sheer fun, from crows and rain to the echo of the sea between the tetrapods or vendors on the beach. I thought I’d give these sounds a second life so I combined them and the result was impressive for me. It was something new, like a painting made of sounds. I think sound is so powerful, it goes directly to the heart, so this is why I choose to work with field recordings. I just have to be quiet and listen.

What is it about field recording that is interesting to you? That the environment somehow dictates the final result and the thing that finding new sounds means moving a lot. You’re never out of ideas.

How do you take a piece of sound and create a work from it? I fall in love with certain sounds, I throw them in the same project and I look out the window while I listen to them and I move them around trying to give them some meaning together. Sometimes I also play with a Volca or a sequencer and I make some accidental ambient haha.

What inspires you while you work? Looking out the window. I live in a neighborhood in Bucharest called Titan and it’s like a titan: big, tall block of flats, like matchboxes on matchboxes and during summer it’s really epic – green and sunny, during winter it’s depressing – the trees are leafless and I get to see in my neighbors’ apartments. In a weird way, this view is always inspiring. And I’m also inspired by explorers. I like explorers. Going to the North Pole or the Chimborazo by themselves. I think about that a lot.

This album was made very quickly. It feels like a snapshot of a time. Does the element of speed or improvisation play into it? I think I improvised a lot, yes. I was just discovering the wonders of sound editing and I spent a lot of time just trying out different things, exploring all you can do with a piece of reality to distort it. I mostly recorded the material in Constanta, my hometown at the Black Sea, at the end of summer, when the atmosphere starts to cool off and the city starts to feel like a ghost town.

We just had a guest mix from Those Who Walk Away, who in some ways is a noise musician, playing with field recordings and layering production techniques. But he works as a “composer”. One of the fun parts of noise music is that we have the freedom to work outside of musical norms. Is there a mode of musical artist that you relate to, whether it be producer, composer, fine artist, etc? I used to listen a lot to Chris Watson, then I discovered Felix Blume and the two artists inspired me. I think I like this “naturalistic” approach precisely because I don’t consider myself a musician, I just hear things, I like how they sound and I think “hey, something nice can come out of this, let’s see”.

What role does photography play in your artistic practice? I like the silence of the photos. I look at them and it’s so quiet. And when I listen to recordings a picture pops immediately into mind. They complement each other.

Your mix includes Romanian artists and you mentioned in our correspondence that that was important to you. What is the local music scene like where you live? I live in Bucharest which sometimes can be called a “vibrant city”, as they say in touristic descriptions of south eastern European capitals. The music scene is quite wide, everything for everyone, but unfortunately people don’t go so much to small concerts, there’s always the same bunch of people who attend the obscure gigs.

Tell us about Romanian music. There’s lots of great projects, from funny absurd rock-trap bands, to math rock, artsy techno or local ambient, modern classical musicians from the 70s and 80s, Ottoman music, sad lautareasca (the music made by fiddlers), drone... It’s quite vibrant and unexpected if you dig a little.

Why was it important to represent your country in the mix? Because there are many great projects that deserve attention and a concert in a crowded place and many dedicated musicians who love making music.

ok, as i  say , it is  best ot think of the  world internet  changing  each  3  years like  college,  1990;s  1993 h we were just getting  used to the  internet

, as someone, who  wetnt onlien  about 12 houra  day in  1994- 1995, watched,  60 live streams a day, 

1998 was the  real change, well music industry was  goign  to  court over online music

in 2003,  watched 100 livestreams  a day of mostly,  musicians singing their originals songs on myspace, so the musci indutry leanrt and  sperated itself form the masses,

usually a  3 years wait from original words,  copywritten to publication, as  per myspace rule,  ,, 

so on the  youtube world of  2006, the  song  was out  before a record company could say, "ah this is shit", "this wont sell", 

the blog  tv,  pre  twitch, the  justin  tv singers, 

the musically,2012, or  2015  tiktok  reborn, 

the world  can here  500 original songs in a day, now that is a bit weird to  do now, 

i listened to 500 songrs a day and had to miss tv  shows, miss movies, , a musician can have a song sang in  30 seconds, but they  have  gone up to  3 minute songs, in musically tiktok,  these songs, have no manager, no distributor, no american  monofixeated manager with a cocaine habbit to  cope with 

we all leant from taylor swift, with the struggle, back in  1960, there was no  option, we  had to marry the indusrty,

now we  dont  have  to  be married to the boss, the  shit fuck   frnak sinatra, 

and his mafia ways to  rule them media and music industry, 

wanting  to marry the singer, and take them to court for not letting them own all their soul, o they can take  $30 million to let the lawyers do that dirty work of  divouricign the performer, as  side sex  for the manager has  60 other  sex partners,

Different person, hai x

This Friday and Saturday have been the best days ever. Seriously I am filled with happiness and joy. On Thursday night I decided to text two of my friends that I love very dearly but sadly don’t talk all that often to. So i talked with them for a bit and had a phone call with Kat and it made me so happy, cause it had been a super long time since I had done that and I needed it. Then Friday started of great cause the guy I kinda like texted me and so it was a really good start to the day. I ended up spending the day with two of my favourite persons and it was such a good evening. I drank wine with foxy and we talked about music and our youth and sang some covers. Today w had a barbecue on the terrace and then we watched the sunset, listened to chill music, drank coffee and ate some ice cream. I haven’t had the chance to meet up with that boy but it’s fine, I just really hope I’ll get to see him soon even tho that’ll be kinda difficult cause he leaves on Tuesday and then I’m leaving next Monday and he won’t be back by then. But I really hope that when we get back we can make it work sometime. He seems cool and I hope it’s something good. 

Anyways, in general I feel good. I know that a couple of days ago I was feeling really bad and I was supper worried and probably over reacted again, but I am ok now cause I decided that I had enough of being scared and terrified of talking to actual people that love and care about me and well, pretty much it’s all fine and I’m gonna be ok. So in other words I feel really good. I’ve got one week left here and then I go back to Greece for two weeks and I’m really happy about that. Tomorrow I’m going to the vintage market and then I’ll meet up with yli for a chat! I’m really happy about that too. Then I have one week left, I’ll go to BSC, I’ll let them know that I’ll be gone for two weeks so that they know why I won’t be there, I’ll go to my doctor’s appointment and get a few things I need for Greece and make my bags. And then on Sunday before leaving I will go to another vintage market! 

I’ve decide to cut my hair when I get back, tho I’m not sure if I want it really short again or just a little trim now. I’ll make up my mind in the moment there. 

I’m listening to some of my old music, some of my favourites from when I was 14 to 16. It’s kinda sad tho that I don’t remember exactly all of them cause they’re soooo good and they hold so many memories. I really like the music I listen to now, and my style has very much changed with the years but back then it was such good musci too and I really want to get into it again more cause it’s too good to forget about and also it’s good to mix it up a bit again sometime. 

I’m probably gonna stop writing now, gonna continue listening to some of this music now and then slowly get to sleep cause tomorrow’s gonna be a good one!

In memory of Chester Benington

After thinking about i a lot, I decided to make this post about Chester Beninton, because Linkin Park was one of the firts bands that I became a fan of and that introduced me to the worl of musci and also besause, although for months have passed since the death of Chester, I still can not quite believe that he is no longer here.I think that knowing about the life of an artist helps us to understand more about their art, so in this post I will write a little of what I know about his life and what Linkin Park means to me.

Chester was born on March 20, 1976 in Phoenix, he was the youngest of four brothers. His mother was a nurse and his father a detective. From an early age, life was not easy for him, he had a difficult childhood because his parents divorced when he was eleven years old and left under the care of his father who was not emotionally stable. He suffered bullying at school and was sexually abused by a older guy from seven to thirteen. For all these hard experiences, he began to consume alcohol and drugs, from which he try to rehabilitate many times.

While listening to the songs of Linkin Park I always felt the pain in the lyrics and in the heartrending cries of Chester. I think that is the reason why they have so many fans, because they are true and they talk about their personal experiences and real problems like depression that make many feel identified with. Chester’s voice conveyed that what he sang came from the bottom of his heart, something that is hard to find in today’s pop singers. He shared his darkest emotions with the fans through hismusic and that’s why I will always be grateful.

Although he had problems with depression and substance abuse most of his life, he always had a smile on his face and he always

took care of others, he never let his problems define his personality, he was a guy who always exuded happiness. I hope that where he is now, he is at the peace with himself that he sought so much in life.
