Gold Coast, Ghana. turn of the XXth century, before the cencus of Ntan music goups by the British administration between 1904/1908 and before the Osei Bonsu workshop which started around 1920. Well curious, so interesting but especially loyal ''talking drum'' also called ''Ntan'' of Ashanti People from the former Gold Coast actual Ghana. A complete and unusual representation of that gave rise to the myth of fertility which is at the origin of the famous Akaba fertility dolls of the Ashanti People. We can easily assume that this important, by his iconography register, ritual drum was played mainly by a Ntan musician group during wedding celebrations, to presage a large number of descendants to the married.
