How do you feel about explosionface?

I’ll pretty honest with the exception of Murdertooth and the occasional skwisface I mostly see the band treating Willy like an annoying little brother.

I do think Murderface clearly admires Nathan and wants to emulate him and shit (He just doesn’t know how to with out being a lil dick like taking credit for songwriting or claiming to be band dad ) and I love when they get moments like at Seth wedding just admiring the shitshow

First up... WHAT IF... @catboy-bill-nye 's Cordelia got to meet the other Dethmoms? I have a feeling it'd go fine... but then again... she might end up suggesting to her son Charles he have Molly killed. Oh well!

WHAT IF... Murdertooth Records was a thing that actually happened? @claudia-nomusaabara 's Tina would almost certainly find success with the label... even if her name and the title and credits and everything else was dwarfed by the producer's credit on the front and back of the album. :P

And another request from @claudia-nomusaabara -- WHAT IF... Skwisgaar and Tyr were still close? God I miss this fuzzy little stepdad-man. I wish this happened (maybe it could still happen..?)

And so we come to WHAT IF... Toki and Teja got along for five minutes.... It's never gonna happen, @curiouslyhigh. We both know it. But at least it's funny when Teja puts a hand on his old man's younger incarnation's mouth and tells him to shush because the grownups are talking.

And speaking of Toki! @pan-flute-skeleton asked WHAT IF... he actually practiced for once? I'd say he'd be just in time to bang out some tunes with Neil! Happy April 13th to all who celebrate!

But that's not all! WHAT IF... Skwisgaar and @pan-flute-skeleton's Vivi publicly endorsed the very Swedish use of bananas on pizza? I probably don't have to tell you that such praise for an obscure topping might just be the hot new trend of our immediate futures, kids!

And now for something a little different... WHAT IF... @el-michoacano's Aurelia was getting married? But to whom is she getting married? Nacho? Domingo? Jesse? (okay not Jesse) (God I love that dress. You're right, King. So extra. But so what?)

And now for the opposite side of domestic bliss! WHAT IF... Caj was Shawn Michaels and her "Diesel" was an entire entourage of some of her very favorite chicks (Dolly @dolly-macabre - St. Cecilia @gointothevvater - Ness @failedintsave and Nita (me buuut requested by @andreaswasneverhere ) (where can I get a belt-buckle that says "DADDY"?)

And last but certainly not least, we have the best thing I've ever drawn, here... WHAT IF... Charles took some punk fashion lessons from @cruisingheightswithdragons's Kris? I'd say it's about time. The old boy could use a makeover. :9

Skwistok?;; Toki’s veeery very touchy and likes to dramatically be all whiney for attention until he gets the kisses or cuddles he’s looking for!!!!! However, of course, he knows Skwisgaar isn’t as physical of a person as him and likes to respect those boundaries, but still be close- he’ll opt for the smaller things instead, sweet words in Norwegian and gently playing with his hair.

Its already been in afew blog interactions, but the two watch the older Moomin cartoons on the regular. Not just for Toki to be entertained, but I think Skwisgaar would find it nicely nostalgic and calming aswell.

I feel like to an outsider, Skwisgaar might not seem as lovey as Toki, but i’d argue he just has a different way of showing it— Words especially, often talking in Swedish or Norwegian with Toki to feel more personal.

He remembers the little things too, bringing it up or getting something of it and Toki being absolutely ecstatic someone remembered such a little detail. I’d like to imagine Toki talks about his favorite sweets or stuffies on occasion, and skwisgaar surprises him with said things once and awhile.

As for Murdertooth?; PROBABLY MY FAVORITE HC…Toki loves to constantly remind Murderface how handsome he is to him. Ranges from giving him kisses all over and saying hes like ‘a big brutal tiger’, to long meaningful talks of how he adores him just how he is.

Murderface will get into long, detailed talks about all that history stuff he’s into and even though Toki doesn’t hardly understand, he still listens to every excited word from the other. He just likes to see the other finally have someone to ramble to.

THEY GO TO THE ZOO AND POINT OUT THE MOST BRUTAL ANIMALS!!!!!!

Toki likes to try his best at baking and cooking Murderfaces favorite foods as he can tell how important it is, and Murderface goes wild everytime for it. Toki’s always overjoyed to see him enjoy his cooking. :)

I SURVIVED KLOKTOBER 2023 WITHOUT MISSING A SINGLE DAY I THINK I'M INSANE

i wrote 59,199 words over these past few weeks. i did a nanowrimo of mtl fanfic. i need to be institutionalized. (i'm also a nanowrimo veteran, and the median word count for these fics was just over 1667 words, so ain't that crazy.)

Skwisgaar is wonderfully characterized, Toki strikes the perfect balance of sympathetic and terrible, and there’s a ton of great group scenes where the characters just get to be friends and banter with each other! Abigail in particular is such a joy.

if you hate Abigail DNI. i can understand hating how she's written, i also hate how she's written and the fact that she was basically only a learning tool for nathan/only used to cause drama between him and pickles. i will always declare this as a misogynistic writing trope (because it is) and her character got done really dirty (because she did) and ill drum up a big fuss about it every chance i get lol. i can also understand disliking her character, it's whatever, she's not for everyone, especially considering how bland she ended up. but if you hate her and constantly trash her like it's her fault she got written badly, i won't engage with you. Brendon truly fucked me up giving fandom misogynists and fujoshis a black woman for fodder

same thing goes for Magnus, if you absolutely hate him and trash him DNI

i headcanon Nathan as being Miccosukee & pickles as being trans. these are really the only constant & recurring headcanons i have, otherwise im open to a bunch of stuff

the only constant romantic ship i have is Nickles, they are truly It for me. as far as the rest of the band goes, i prefer a family dynamic for them. you won't really find any romantic Skwistok, Skwisface, Murdertooth, or any other ships with Nathan or Pickles here. that being said, if you ship all of them or mix n match them up that's okay 👍👍👍👍

nathan fictive (fiction kin? other hearted? i don't know the difference, he's the only character ive ever "kinned")👍 i originally wasn't going to say anything but everyone seems to be pretty open here so (cartoon slide whistle noise). you can also just call me Nate or Nathan, that's okay 👍
