I want Cellbit to still actually be in his depression arc after he wakes up from his weeklong hibernation JUST so I can see the looks on Bagi and everyone else she tells' faces at the subversion of expectations, it would be glorious to witness (especially after she spent all week preparing and bracing herself for him on the warpath, she would be so caught off guard and I think that's something you don't get to see very often)

I kinda touched on it but Phil isnt ok… like at all. Being a fallen angel means that you become corrupted. Angels dont have anger issues like Phil has, and they certainly can't turn themselves into murderous bird monsters capable of ripping through stone like it was butter.
Unfortunately, it only gets worse for him as time goes on. He goes on rampages at night, leaving paths of trees destroyed, deer and bears torn to shreds, and the occasional hill tunneled through.
The only things that calm him down are his flock or birds chirping. The flock for obvious reasons, Phil loves them all very much and wants nothing but the best for them. Birds, specifically the call of a mourning dove because it reminds him of what was once his home (yes Phil misses heaven it's literally paradise, who wouldn't?)
Anyways yeah his corruption is getting worse, and corruption easily spreads like a virus in a crowd…
Has Cellbit’s hearing always been this good?

What if the murders are both caused by Cellbit and the Federation at the same time
We know the Federation is very good at messing with peoples heads, after all. gestures to Philza who is becoming increasingly unable to distinguish between dreams and reality
So it probably wouldn't be hard for them to trigger Cellbit into going on a rampage.

Man sometimes I think about how sad it is that purgatory broke the lore progression of the server so badly. Like we had so many good story beats going on (in no particular order):
Everyone breaking rules trying to figure out where the eggs are. The first run-through of the Maze and Tubbo thinking he killed all the eggs in the wheel spin. Foolish being crowned KOC and getting officially hired by the fed. Cellbits despair and murdering rampage. Bagi and Cellbit backstory. Roier backstory and angst. Foolish taking the muder case knowing and covering for Cellbit. BBH kidnapping a worker and Tubbo figuring it out. Baghera covering for Bad despite it hurting her. Tubbos and Freds blooming "friendship" and subsequent kidnapping. Forever happy pills arc. Forever getting stuck in the nether. Fit backstory on his secret mission. Mikes kidnapping and brainwashing. Jaidens fucked up birthday party from Cucurucho. Pol working for the fed 20 years ago. Philza being tormented by the fed and losing sense of reality. Charlie and codeFlippa. Kameto rescue and him being a spy. The giant code structures. The black concrete/"black matter". Cucuruchito being a spy. The mini-mes which "are gonna be super useful in the future." A federation jail and courthouse being built.
It was fine I guess to put all the rp on hold for Purgatory, but the end wasn't worth it at all. Aside from how unsatisfing the ending was and nothing got explained, over half the CCs didn't come back and most of those that did are "non canonically" there gearing up to go back for round 2.
I wasn't expecting any huge lore during the holidays but I really don't expect any of these storylines to be resolved until February, that is if some of them are even brought up again at all. Like at this point I don't care if the main story is driven by NPCs, I just want the CCs characters to be involved in the story at all.

This Town - QSMP analysis
I have decided that we are doing the analysis because this song is too perfect to not. If you don’t know the song, it’s called This Town from the show Nashville. I have never seen the show, but I am a country music fan and I inherited my playlist from my mom and she has. The actual context is lost on me but it DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE IT IS PERFECT FOR QSMP.
Maybe I’m just hardcore coping with having no QSMP and coming up on the anniversary of Purgatory. I’m losing my mind a little bit. I am not disfruta la isla right now.
Onto the analysis. (I just really want someone to make an animatic with this song.)
Tumblr media
You can easily see how this works, although it is the weakest of the bunch. This is day one of the QSMP. The train. The station. Everyone is unsure of who everyone is and what they are doing here. Hitting the button. The explosion. Breaking the language barrier. All the early shenanigans.
Tumblr media
THIS CHORUS GETS ME. Look at it. “This Town ain’t yours and this town ain’t mine.” THE FEDERATION SHOWING UP? The eggs arriving? Everyone immediately taking over their job as parents. “Some will burn out.” The early egg deaths. Tilin and Trump, I can easily see. “Some will burn bright.” I can see this being the survivors of the first batch. Chayanne, Leo, Ramón. Dapper. “Some learn to fly.” Bobby’s death. Juanafilipa. “Some will run for their lives.” The parents being overprotective of their kids?
This town. Showing off their town. Showing off everything that they do.
Tumblr media
Brazil and France show up. Tallulah. Richarlyson. Pomme. Everyone learning about the dangers. They work together. Ordem Theoritas. “The devil inside me”. I’m sorry, we have q!Cellbit and Cell. Shut up. Q!Baghera being a Fed experiment for “take my wings”? Take my money already.
Then it repeats the chorus twice. You get the idea. The kids disappearing. The parents trying to find them. A cage for a cage. Cellbit’s murder rampage. Other things that happened. I don’t know, I’m a crow and Phil talks to no one. You get the idea.
It’s perfect. It’s so good. Someone just agree with me.
I’m probably the only QSMP fan to listen to country music because I see I’m the only one talking about how the song This Town from the show Nashville perfectly fits the QSMP.
The chorus is literally “This town ain’t yours and this town ain’t mine. We all come here with the light in our eyes. Some will burn out, some will burn bright. Some learn to fly, some will run for their lives. In this town.”
Like it’s too perfect. I could do a whole analysis on this song. It drives me crazy how perfect this song is. I wanna have an animatic to this song, I can see it in my head, but I can’t draw!
Maybe I will do an analysis and prove it.
