You took your phone out of your bag to check the time as you walked towards the school gym. If you remembered correctly, Atsushi's basketball practice should have ended around five minutes ago. It was the last practice session of a very busy season, so he'd promised to take you out as soon as it was finished. When you asked where, he said it was a surprise and that he'd take you there after practice. The more you thought about spending the evening with your beloved boyfriend after a few weeks of barely seeing him outside of school, the giddier you felt. When you finally reached the gym and pushed the door open, you saw Atsushi talking with the other members of the generation of miracles as they walked out of the changing room. Even though most members of the generation of miracles were pretty tall, Murasakibara still managed to tower over them. He'd changed out of his basketball kit and into a loose fitting black shirt with short sleeves and grey sweatpants. His hair was also up- he knew that was a weakness of yours. You didn't mind that he dressed more casually- in fact, as you checked out his long, toned arms, you realised how much you liked it. As soon as Murasakibara saw you standing and starin at the door, he smiled slightly and walked over to you.

"Hey baby, you ready to leave after this ?" You opened your mouth to answer but Kuroko beat you to it.

"What ? Murasakibara and Y/N ? Why didn't anybody tell me ?" You tried not to laugh at the look of utter shock on his face as his eyes darted between you and Atsushi. Aomine cut in, frowning

"Yeah ! And why does he get to date someone that hot ? Y/N, if you ever grow bored of this dry ass man then you know where to find-" This time, it was Atsushi who cut Aomine off by shoving him in the opposite direction to you.

"Over my dead body," he said, glaring at Aomine. The latter simply smirked and raised his eyebrows

"Control yourself, Aomine. Anyway, you're all just idiots. This has been rather obvious for a few weeks now. Whenever Murasakibara has free time, he spends it with Y/N, and he always takes every opportunity to text them during practice. Akashi has noticed it too. While I normally wouldn't condone dating within a friendship group, their signs are perfectly matched," Midorima explained, a triumphant look on his face, while Akashi stood there silently. You hadn't expected much of a reaction from him, because you realised on some level he'd always known, and had given you and Atsushi small windows of time in which you could meet and talk all throughout the last basketball season. When you'd thanked him for all his help, he'd just nodded and smiled slightly.

You listened and tried to hold in your laughter as Aomine and Midorima began to squabble over his remark. These guys were idiots, but they were your idiots. They'd been your best friends since middle school and you were glad that you finally had the opportunity to share this with them. Kise finally broke the spat, smiling in your direction as he spoke.

"Yeah, you guys really weren't as discreet as you thought. I mean, Murasakibaracchi literally has a picture of you in his basketball jersey as his phone lockscreen. Anyway, though I agree with Aominecchi that this is slightly unfair, I wish you two all the best. You look really cute together, as well as being well matched,"

"Yeah," Kuroko agreed, smiling at you as you blushed.

"Aww guys... thank you so much ! We would have told you earlier, but we were afraid it would change things between the group,"

"Nah. No matter what happens, we'll stick together. We've made it this far, right ?" Aomine replied, and the others nodded in agreement. Atsushi put an arm around your waist and looked at the guys.

"Now that you know, I'd appreciate it if you stopped wasting our time. I'm taking Y/N on a date tonight. Also, keep your hands to yourselves. Y/N is mine," he said, glaring at Aomine and Kise. You smiled up at him, your heart beating faster as he revealed this new possessive side to his nature. He squeezed you a little before hoisting you over his shoulder as if you weighed nothing.

"Wha- Atsushi ! What do you think you're doing ?" you asked, squirming in his grasp playfully.

"We'll get there faster like this,". He tightened his grip around you and you let yourself relax, breathing in his warm scent as he carried you out of the gym.

"Bye guys !" you said, smiling as Atsushi carried you out. The others smiled back at you, waving as they watched you and Atsushi leave the gym.

As soon as you'd left, Kuroko opened his mouth again

You always thought he looked so graceful, his arms like the wingspan of a bird, soaring across the court in grandeur. He drew you in. You found yourself going to games outside of home, cheering him on from the sidelines as he blocked the other team's plays effortlessly, then smiling as you watched him snack innocently between playing time.

This was the night. You were finally going to confess. Another win for your team at their home game was a sign of good fortune, you thought to yourself.

You approached the locker room with anxious fervor - it was now or never.

All the other members had left but Murasakibara had been rushed with cameras and fellow fans before he had the chance to get to the locker room. You ignored the slightly stale smell of the space and sat down on one of the benches. You weren't supposed to be in here but you figured if you caught him before he was changing then there was no harm in the location (it would be a little weird to confess to him while he was half-naked, no matter how welcome the sight would be).

Think of the Devil. Murasakibara walked through the swinging doors, his steps heavy and echoing in the near-empty room. You fiddled with your hands as you slowly turned toward the direction you figured he'd come through.

You spotted purple strands high above your own head before you took note of the rest of him. He spotted you quickly. When your eyes reached his face he was already meeting your gaze.

"What are you doing here?" He questioned apathetically.

Your hands held out a box of chocolates neatly wrapped with a bow, a traditional way of confessing. He hesitated in accepting but decided to fairly quick.

Murasakibara didn't eat the treats yet, opting to hold them between his large fingers instead as he peered at you waiting for more.

His Darling (An Aomine x GN reader)

Just a little fluffy drabble about you being the only one Aomine tolerates and how you became his stuffed animal (this came from a conversation with @the-masked-ram ♡ thank you the encouragement to write it♡)

Word count: 1.1k

Aomine was not one to hold back when something was annoying him, and practices really did annoy him. He might be the laziest player on the team but there was no denying that when his interest was sparked there was no stopping him or winning against him. Practices brought him nothing but headaches.

Why did he have to run drills? Why did he have to repeatedly listen to plays when he didn't need them? Moment he got the ball in his hands he would make a score with no help from the team. 

Him being there was pointless. A waste of time and energy. He finishes the drills faster than anyone and just glare at anyone that would ask to go over the plays again. 

This was nothing short of torture, but at least the floor was cold enough for a nap. Just as he was about to close his eyes and sleep the time away he felt something on his stomach. Removing his arm from his eyes he say you standing next to him smiling. Looking down at him with a lollipop in your mouth. You always were eating some candy and he wondered how much of your money was spent on your sweet tooth. 

He looked away from you to look at what was on his stomach. A bag of his favorite snacks. He is nowhere close to being like Murasakibara, but snacks do make laying down a bit more enjoyable and how can he say no to someone as pretty as you.  After all, you are the only reason he comes to practices after all. You come just to hang out with Momoi and offer your support and encouragement to the team. Occasionally treating everyone with snacks during breaks but he was the only one that didn't need to share (not like anyone dared to try taking some of what he was eating). Everyone in school referred to you as the team's sweetheart. A little nickname that he really did love for you. The team thought of you as an angel really. Aomine was more tolerable when you were around. It was a cute sight when you would be sitting on the floor with his head on your lap, talking about a new show or book you just finished and him just listening, with the occasional nod. Everyone knew better than to come near you both and interrupt the little bubble you both lost in. 

The team was so grateful that you would be the one that would wake him up when it was time to leave. He gave no fuss or harsh words, just slowly got up and wrapped his arms around you and did not let you go until you both at school entrance. You would have to practically beg and use sweet words for him to let go.

Today was a bad day for Aomine and no one was free from his wrath (except for you of course). He woke up with a horrible headache, making his temper even shorter than normal. An aura of pure anger radiated from him, and he had a look of daring anyone to talk to him (he wanted an excuse to take out his frustration out on someone). 

People held their breath when lunch break came and you walked into the room with two bentos. During one of the first few practices that you befriend him, you shared with him some of your leftover lunch (he complained that the school lunch was so bland and he was too lazy to go get a snack for himself). He loved it so much that you promised him that you would make him a matching lunch only if he attended every practice from then on. The team was so thankful that they all chipped in to get you a few sweet treats from an expensive bakery. You placed his bento in front of him and sat down on one of the empty desks next to him. You woke up early to make some pork dumplings, octopus shaped sausages, white rice, hearts shaped strawberries and blueberries. You noticed that something was off with him. He was usually quiet but today he seemed to be a bit colder. You got up forgetting about your own food and sat in front of him and slowly began to feed him. Nothing was said even after he finished eating. You removed the bento from his desk and gently rubbed his cheek. You noticed how tired he looked and felt so bad that the break wasn't long enough for him to get some rest. You would switch from rubbing his cheek to gently running your fingers through his hair. He appreciated you giving him those small comforts more than you would ever know. Before you entered your class you sent Momoi a quick message that Aomine wouldn't be participating in practice today. 

After classes ended you ran to the basketball court and went to get the pillow and blanket that Momoi had told you about (Momoi had a soft spot for her childhood friend and the benefit of being the team's manager no one questioned why there was a pillow and blanket into the team's equipment room) to make sure everything was ready for him to have the nap he been needing all day. Not too long after did he appear. You were sitting on the floor with the pillow on your lap and the blanket was laid out next to you. You just smiled at him and patted the pillow (luckily you always had a book in your bag so as he napped you would be able to get yourself lost in a story, but unknown to you Aomine had other plans). He took the pillow of your lap and placed it on top of the blanket. He kneeled down next to you, one hand found its way under your knees and the other on your back, before you could even question what he was doing he picked you up, set you down on the blanket and laid on top of you. He very easily manhandled you until he had you in a comfortable position and held you close to him and quickly fell asleep. Everyone on the team quietly was snickering and whispering how you had become his stuffed animal. You were so embarrassed but made no fuss in order not to wake him. Having no other choice you followed him to dreamland. It was the best sleep he had gotten in days. He decided from that day forward he wouldn't participate in practice and instead you both would take a nap together. He insisted that you had become his stuffed animal (he was so much bigger and stronger than you that there wasn't a sense in fighting him, you would end up pinned under him). Slowly you began to actually look forward to your naps together and would be your favorite part of your day (but never in a million years would you let him know, his ego was already to big for the universe to handle and didn't need to get any bigger).

a/n: Kept the reader gender neutral so as many people as possible could enjoy this, though is geared more towards male reader I hope as that is what you asked for.

🍭 For starters there is probably a large amount of time that he spends not noticing you but you definitely noticed him, you were working in a convenience store that frequented.

🍭 You always kept his favourite snacks back for him and that was when he started to take notice of you. 🍭 The first time he really saw you, you were teaching some kids how to play basketball. He could see that you were good, the way that you interacted with the kids and taught them. You glanced over and waved before calling him in. 🍭 The real indication that liked you was actually playing one on one match with you to show the kids a real game. That was the day he realised that you were taller than him, you were always behind a counter or miles away from him he’d never noticed before. 🍭 You started talking more from there on but then his team needed a new manager so he asked you. 🍭 You took the position and that meant that you spent even more time together, you often brought his favourite food, just to get him to take part in practice properly or snap him out of whatever mood he was in. 🍭 You started calling him ‘Sushi which he seemed to love. Everyone noticed that you were very close but the person to say something was Tatsuya, nothing came from it until after the match against Seirin after his first loss he found himself looking for you to find comfort and it was after that that basically declared to the world (you included) that you belonged to him. 🍭 He never really officially asked, he did give you every chance to reject any advancement or shows of affection at any time. 🍭 You guys are probably the cutest thing that most people have seen, he’d often feed you if he knew that you hadn’t eaten and he always knew. You didn't know how but he always did. 🍭 He asked you why you didn’t play and you explained an injury that you got when you were younger so you just helped people that played instead. Since hearing that he’d always watch you and if he deems it necessary (which he always does) he’ll just carry you places or take your bag and carry that for you. 🍭 He’s the stronger of the two of you despite the fact that you were taller than he was, you always worried about him carrying you around but he dismissed the concern by jolsting you around and showing you he could hold you easily. 🍭 Everyone comes to you when they need to convince him to do something and he’ll usually do it but only if you would come with him, so be careful what you agree to. 🍭 The rest of the generation of miracles are all surprised to see him with you, mostly because he’ll often be standing there with a bag of crisps and he’ll eat one and then feed one to you, they were shocked the first time they all saw it, like they all just stopped talking at looked at him, which annoyed him and you had to calm him down after that too. 🍭 You doted over him when he broke his arm in the Jabberwock match and he loved it soaked up every bit for affection. Side note he’ll have you tie up his hair before every match as well often with the excuse that he can’t be bothered to lift his arms. 🍭 Often calls you sugar or sweetness and you could see Tatsuya roll his eyes every time. 🍭 You have to tell him off for being mean to everyone even if his nicknames were absolutely hilarious, you were in charge of keeping him out of trouble when Tatsuya wasn’t around. 🍭 You help him study a lot of the time if you can and he’ll listen to you though it’s always hard to get him to actually focus in the first place, if you're both hopeless then it just devolves into messing around. 🍭 When you guys cuddled up together, you usually wrapped around him, in some way, he’d be the one to pull you down to cuddle because you just won’t stop moving and he stopped caring about that task you had set for yourself and just wants you close. 🍭 He doesn’t like it when he doesn’t know where you are or can’t see you but there is only so much that you can do about that but you’ll text and call him as much as you can to make him a little more happy. 🍭 You don’t argue very often but small disagreements are common, considering his lazy and resistant attitude, you argue playfully about his attitude towards something, he’ll likely walk away from you and then wait for him to approach you again usually offering some kind of food for peace. 🍭 If he ever hears that something happened to you, he was there before you even knew what happened, he’d drop anything, he’d skip class and practice if it meant that he’d be able to make sure that you were okay. 🍭 All in all he loves you a lot and it might take him a while to say but he’ll show you everyday, just be sure to show him as well. He’s easily bored and if he doesn’t get back what he gives he’ll leave.

Eddie Munson, king freak of Hawkins High, dungeon master and ring leader of Hellfire Club, and worst of all your boyfriend flashed his incredibly irritating and adorable smile at you—you looked away to not fall for it, going back to your homework. 

He leaned forward and whispered in your ear, “you weren’t complaining about it before she found us, were you?”

You could just smack him. 

Instead, you decided to tune him out and continue your work. May as well do something productive here, right?

You didn’t look up when the teacher mentioned something about having a meeting to go to and expecting you to behave yourselves, nor did you look up when he left. You, unfortunately, looked up when Eddie took your pencil out of your hand and sat on the desk in front of you. 

“Hey! That’s mine!”

“Come get it, sweetheart.”

There’s that cocky smirk you hate so much from him. 

You stood from your seat, as did he. He held the pencil above and behind his head, so you lunged forward for it. With a bit of laugh, he dropped the pencil and wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you in tight. Your hand you reached for the pencil with landed on his shoulder in defeat. 

“You’re a prick,” you complained, although you made no effort to pull away. 

“Mhm, yeah, and you hate me so much. Shut up and kiss me already.”

He silenced anything else you planned on saying with a needy kiss. Almost immediately you melted, using your other hand to run through his hair. When you tugged gently, he groaned against your lips, pulling you tighter against him. Without a second thought, he walked you backward into a desk (luckily not the one you’d been sitting at) and you sat on top. His hands traveled down from your waist to your legs, guiding you to wrap them around his waist. 

You pulled away from him, putting a finger over his lips to stop him from following yours. “We shouldn’t be doing this, Ed. We’re screwed if he comes back in.”

“You didn’t seem to be complaining.” 

You groaned in frustration and laid your head against his shoulder. “Eddie Munson, you are such a pain in my ass.” 

“I could be if ya let me.”

“Ed!”

He's so hyped to make you meet his grandparents!

It's so cute, because he's been talking about you to them since day 1, so they're really impatient to meet you

They're also the only family he has so it's very important for him that you meet them

Which makes you fairly nervous, you understand how much this matters to Teppei

You'll probably go have lunch to their place (they insisted on it)

It'll be love at first sight for them too

They will shower you in compliments (now you see where your boyfriend got it), telling you that you are so beautiful and cute

And don't count on Kiyoshi to stop them from praising you, if anything, he'll encourage it

“thank you for taking care of me today.”

you bowed to chris, who only nodded with his stance tall and his arms crossed. unfortunately you injured yourself in the recent tournament while playing defence, and while you tried to play it off, miyuki already saw right through your act and brought you to chris for some rehabilitation; he knows you and knows you’d try and push yourself even more despite your injury.

“is it just your back, y/n?” chris asked, grabbing some equipment that would be best suited to your situation.

“yes, though i don’t think it’s too serious..” you trailed off, “i definitely think i can play for this weekends game.”

“don’t be silly.” miyuki said, walking up to you. “focus on healing first or you’ll do something you’ll regret for the rest of your life.”

“i’m not being silly! i’m serious! if i can just rest for a day, then— argh!”

a sharp pain shot through your lower back which caused you to grip on it tightly. as an immediate reaction, miyuki wrapped an arm around you for support and rubbed the area where it hurt, applying enough pressure to soothe the pain. you frowned and grit your teeth, frustrated because you knew the injury was worse than you thought. miyuki sighed and helped you up, not taking his arms off of you.

“told you, don’t be silly.” he whispered. he motioned for you to sit on one of the benches where you buried your face in your hands.

“i can’t miss this weekends game,” you mumbled, “i don’t want to miss it— the team. i want to be with the team..”

miyuki softly ruffled your hair, “i know, i know. but would you rather risk not playing again? i’ll stay with you in the meantime, and i’ll let you pick whatever movie you want.”

“even a cheesy rom com?”

he chuckled, “even then.”

chris softly laughed at you two, reminiscent of the days where he was in the same position with his shoulder.

“well, let’s get started so you can play right away.”

everyone was afraid of hanamiya; he was mean, dark, and ruthlessly sadistic. everyone was baffled when you got with him and how were you able to manage with someone as evil as him. but not everyone took the time to get to know him like you did— you knew he would never lay a finger on you, let alone even hurt you, and he most definitely protected you with his entire life. you loved him for that, and loved it even more that you knew this side of him that no one else didn’t.

which is why you tried to walk properly when you were going over to his place. you hurt your back during practice, making your form slumped as you ambled. you knew he’d freak out if he heard you got hurt, so you tried to play it off when you arrived at his door. unfortunately, your boyfriend had some next level senses when it came to you, as he said, “what’s wrong with you?”

you smiled brightly, despite the sharp pains that you felt in your back. “nothing! i’m fine!” you excused yourself and entered his home, taking off your shoes and placing your bag on the table. makoto groaned in annoyance, already knowing that something happened at practice today; he could tell by the way your breath was slowly staggered and the clenching your teeth. “where did you get hurt?”

“what are you talking about? i didn’t—”

“y/n.”

you clicked your tongue, “fine! my back, i was playing defence today and i fell on my back. it hurts like a bitch now.” you frowned as you slumped on his couch, careful as to not to trigger the pain. makoto disappeared into the kitchen, fumbling with the cabinets and came out with a tube in his hand.

“turn around.” he demanded. with no questions, you obeyed, lying on your stomach as he slowly lifted your shirt up. “makoto, what are you—”

“just let me do my thing.” he interrupted. he squished a small amount of the substance from the tube on his hand and softly rubbed his hands together before asking you, “where does it hurt?”

you uttered, “..lower back.”

suddenly, you felt his hands expertly rub over your lower back, soothing the pain and spreading the cream. “i use this when i have muscle aches,” he said, continuing to massage your back. “you’ll be fine soon.”

“even for this weekends game?”

he scoffed in a mocking tone, “not that soon. you’re to stay put for a couple weeks.” your body quickly tensed, shaking your head. before you can protest and tried to convince him that you were okay, he quickly cut you off, “save it, y/n. i promise i’ll look after you, and i’ll even let you choose whatever game you wanna play.” he muttered that last part, but he couldn’t hide the blushes that had formed across his cheeks. “you need to heal.”

you smiled at your boyfriend, putting your head down, feeling good by his massages. “thank you, makoto.”

“stop injuring yourself, dummy.”

murasakibara atsushi:

“i don’t think i can go to practice, atsushi.”

you stood in front of your door, letting murasakibara into your home. he usually would drop you off to practice while you bought him a small snack along the way, but today your back was just doing you wrong, especially after what happened during practice the other day.

“are you hurt, y/n-chin?” he asked, taking your hand to have you sit on his lap on the couch carefully. you nodded, “yeah, playing defence. i fell back and i don’t think i can play for a while.” he hummed in response and softly placed you on the couch, stomach down. he slipped a hand under your shirt and rubbed your back in large circles, soothing the pain and making you groan in satisfaction.

“i’ll stay with you in the mean time,” murasakibara said, “until you get better. i’ll order whatever you want, y/n-chin.”

“can we have chicken and cake?” you suggested, voice muffled in the couch.

“chicken and cake it is. don’t move until you feel better, ‘kay?”
