Saya: To the President…you mean, Munakata-senpai. I got it!

Awashima: I'm sorry, but do me a favor.

Shiro: Ahaha. Neko, calm down a bit.

Saya: Shiro-kun, Neko-chan. What happened?

Neko: Ah, Gohan! Yahoo!

Shiro: Yeah, Hello. Actually, I was in the courtyard and Munakata-senpai kicked me out.

Saya: Munakata-senpai?

Neko: Boss-Glasses, he was flashing his glasses and making a "go away" face.

Shiro: I wasn't actually asked to go, but there was an incredible aura around him. It was like no one was allowed to come near him.

Saya: Is that so…

Shiro: Uhm. Maybe there's another war coming up, so be careful.

Shiro: Well then, see you.

Saya: U-Uhm. See you

Saya: (I have an errand to run for Munakata-senpai, but…)

Saya: (He's in the courtyard, right? I think I'll go there for now)

Saya: (Munakata-senpai…)

Saya: (Just like Shiro-kun said…Somehow I have a feeling I shouldn't get too close)

Saya: (But I was asked to give him the printouts...I'd better call out to him)

Saya: Um, Munakata-senpa--

Saya: (Eh!)

Saya: Munakata…senpai…?

Munakata: …

Saya: (The scabbard is…pointed at me…)

Saya: (I wonder if I did something to make senpai mad at me…)

Saya: Senpai…Why are you doing this…?

Munakata: …Sorry for startling you.

Munakata: It's not the same as that time, is it?

Saya: Eh…? What do you mean?

Munakata: …I thought that if there was a critical situation, as there was when I first met you, you would deactivate my ability.

Munakata: But nothing happened to you. So that means my prediction was wrong.

Saya: (Senpai was just testing me?)

Saya: (--Huh, my legs are getting weak…)

Munakata: Are you all right?

Saya: Yeah…

Choice: I'm glad you're not mad at me ❤

Saya: I'm glad senpai isn't mad at me.

Saya: I wondered if I had done something that made senpai angry…

Munakata: I don't get angry that easily.

Munakata: Besides, you wouldn't do anything that would unintentionally make others angry.

Choice: I was a bit scared

Saya: Yeah. But I was a bit scared of what senpai did earlier…

Saya: It's was different kind of atmosphere than usual…

Munakata: … sigh

Saya: Sorry for saying something strange. Senpai was just testing me.

Munakata: …You are becoming more and more interesting.

Fushimi and Munakata are engaged. Two months before their wedding, Yata is injured and Fushimi has been placed in Yata's care. Munakata knows that Fushimi and Yata share a past so he shouldn't feel insecure. But still he does it.

Somehow I imagine Munakata's insecurity manifesting itself as constant unannounced visits to “hang” with Fushimi and the recovering Yata XD On the bright side, Yata gets to know Fushimi's fiancee better than he ever expected. So say Fushimi and Munakata are engaged and Munakata has been spending a bunch of time planning the perfect wedding, and Fushimi has been spending a bunch of time avoiding planning the perfect wedding. It's right around this time that Yata's in some big skateboard competition and ends up having an accident and injuring his spine, he's going to recover but it will take a few months and he's in a wheelchair and will have difficulty recovering on his own. The Homra guys are of course all ready to help but they have their own stuff going on and maybe Kusanagi's out of the country and Kamamoto's on his own honeymoon so it's a little difficult for anyone to really do more than stopping by from time to time. Fushimi though has somewhat more freedom since he can work from home and he's marrying his boss so he ends up being the one who gets to take care of Yata, maybe this is like AU where it's only been a couple months post-ROK and the two of them are still reconciling so this is like a good chance for them to really spend time together (and Fushimi is the one who actually offers to assist Yata, surprising even himself, but the way Yata's eyes light up makes it impossible for him to change his mind).

Fushimi ends up moving into Yata's apartment for the time being, he's worried that Munakata will be against it but Munakata tells him that it is important to assist his friend and of course Munakata has no problems with the two of them spending time together. Fushimi raises an eyebrow like are you sure and Munakata assures him that there is no issue, he can continue to plan the wedding on his own and Fushimi can use this opportunity to reconnect with his friend. Fushimi's like as long as you're okay with it then and he packs up some stuff and relocates to Yata's place for the time being. He still comes in to Scepter 4 of course but only for like emergencies or things where he's physically needed, otherwise he's back at Yata's place helping him out. The squad are all super impressed by how mature Captain's being, imagine them gossiping about it and Hidaka's like yeah if I had to send my fiancee to live with the crush he never got over I don't think I could handle it. Munakata happens to overhear this and just smiles serenely because of course he trusts Fushimi-kun completely...but maybe his eye just twitches ever so slightly.

Munakata wants to be a good supportive boyfriend of course and it's not like he's...jealous of Yata Misaki or anything, and he certainly doesn't suspect Fushimi of cheating at all. But he has to admit that perhaps he's a bit lonely with Fushimi otherwise occupied and there is something of a desire to keep Fushimi close, this feeling that Yata is like encroaching on something that belongs to him. I think Munakata wouldn't want to do anything rash though, like he certainly doesn't want Fushimi to think that Munakata doesn't trust him and he doesn't want to make Fushimi choose between himself and Yata. Which is of course when he comes up with the brilliant idea of assisting Fushimi with Yata's care, imagine Munakata showing up at Yata's apartment in street clothes carrying like a puzzle and some board games and other fun group activities that he thought they could do together which will also assist in Yata-kun's healing process. Imagine Yata being suspicious about this, like wait is Saruhiko's King mad that I'm spending time with him and Fushimi can't help but wonder if Munakata really doesn't trust him, however Munakata continues to radiate nothing but sincere desire to help and Fushimi supposes it can't be that bad, having Munakata here by his side helping things (he reverses course on that a couple days later when he catches Munakata and Yata trading 'times Fushimi was adorable' stories, Yata also wanted to take this opportunity to make sure Munakata's been treating Fushimi right and it looks like they’ve found a common ground in both thinking Fushimi is amazing).

Jurassic World AU with Sarumi! Yata is this rowdy, wilderness-savvy survivalist with a surprising talent of being a Dinosaur Whisperer/Tamer and Fushimi is the brilliant, long-suffering scientist with no practical survival skills that Yata keeps having to rescue. Fushimi obviously isn't get paid enough to deal with this dinosaurs-escaping-and-killing-everybody nonsense.

'No practical survival skills' had me laughing, poor Saru XD So imagine Yata gets a job working at the Jurassic World theme-park-to-be and he's super excited to get to work with actual real live dinosaurs. Yata turns out to have a natural affinity with animals, he's worked with various wilderness guides and such in the past and maybe he's like helped take care of wild animals before too. Yata turns out to be the only one who can keep some semblance of control over the raptors, which makes him invaluable to the park. Yata's pretty proud of this, he's certain that he's got these animals well trained and prepared to trust him and surely nothing could ever go wrong when the park opens nope no way.

Meanwhile Fushimi is the long suffering scientist dragged to the park by its founder, Munakata Reisi, who feels Fushimi-kun has the talents needed to help create dinosaurs. Fushimi's excellent at splicing genes and creating life but not so good at actually taking care of his own life, living off soda and Caloriemate while working long hours every day. He runs into Yata often and they initially don't get along at all, Fushimi isn't interested in dinosaurs beyond being able to create them in a lab while Yata doesn't get why a place full of wild creatures and nature has so many stuffed shirts who look like they've never stepped outside in their lives. Fushimi doesn't hesitate to remind Yata that he was the one who created Yata's precious raptors while Yata's like oh yeah well you couldn't get those raptors to respect you even if you tried so there.

Eventually the park opens to the public and in a completely surprising and in no way foreseeable twist something goes wrong and all the dinosaurs start escaping and attacking the guests. Fushimi at the time had just stepped out of his lab to check on the results of experimenting on like some of the local plants and suddenly he's there in the forest by himself and the lab is all the way on the other side of the island and dinosaurs are everywhere. He has some trusty knives for protection but these prove fairly useless when he gets attacked by a T-Rex out of the blue. Fushimi clicks his tongue and makes a run for it, probably swearing the whole way like why did we even create carnivores what idiot decided it would be a good idea to genetically engineer a T-Rex. He ends up tripping over some exposed root or something, just like a damsel in a horror movie and he can't believe that he's actually about to be killed by a fucking dinosaur. That's when Yata swoops in swinging on a tree vine, scooping Fushimi up romantically and dragging him into the nearest tree. Yata's all prepared to receive his praise for being so cool and brave, Fushimi just complains that it took Yata long enough and the T-Rex is still right there so maybe they should start moving. The two of them must now navigate the jungle together in order to get back to the safety of the lab, all while bickering loudly and drawing attention to themselves and Fushimi complaining about how he's asking for a raise as soon as this is over because the benefits package is not worth almost being chewed on by dinosaurs.

There would probably be a lot of bidders for Fushimi's kiss XD Like maybe it's not just the one Strain who has a crush on Fushimi but quite a few of them do, that's why he's so often their target after all. The Strain gets a good idea on how to capitalize on this, capture Fushimi and then try to auction off his kiss. Maybe this Strain has like some mind control-type powers similar to the Prince in DOB, so if the Strain tells Fushimi to kiss someone he will. The Strain sets a trap for Fushimi and manages to catch him, Fushimi probably expects that this Strain is like plotting some revenge against him or something and is totally confused when the Strain starts plotting his evil plan: an auction at a nearby club for Fushimi Saruhiko's kiss. Fushimi is like what the actual fuck but the Strain is pretty pleased with himself, sending out invitations to the auction and getting Fushimi ready for the big event (by dressing him in something gauzy and skimpy so that he looks nice and tempting).

Meanwhile of course Scepter 4 and Homra are looking for Fushimi and all worried about his well being. Say at this point Fushimi hasn't expressed feelings for anyone yet but Yata has definitely realized that he likes Fushimi as more than a friend, and beyond that he's also starting to suspect that Munakata feels that way about Fushimi too. This makes Munakata Yata's rival and Yata totally doesn't trust him, like who knows what this guy was doing to Saruhiko while he and Yata were fighting. Munakata doesn't seem to recognize Yata as his rival at all which also irritates Yata, like he thinks this is Munakata acting as if he's already won and Yata's going to prove him wrong, like Yata's determined that he's gonna be the one who wins Saruhiko's heart. Yata thinks if he could rescue Fushimi then that would be the perfect time to like confess his love (after kicking the ass of whoever kidnapped Saruhiko of course).

Munakata manages to find out that Fushimi's been transported to this particular night club where there are invitations going out for some big auction. Everyone assumes that the Strain is planning to auction Fushimi off to criminals for like revenge plots and such, worried that Fushimi could end up in some horrible situation if they can't save him before it's too late. Munakata quickly puts into motion a plan, the Homra and Scepter 4 alphabet will work together to get set up as workers at the club while Munakata and Yata will take point and actually infiltrate the auction itself. Yata wonders how they're going to do that and Munakata gives him a brilliant grin as he says he already has that particular issue taken care of.

Cue the day of the auction and Yata and Munakata are portraying a loving couple entering the club together. Yata's really not into having to act lovey-dovey with the Blue King but if it'll save Saruhiko he's willing to do anything. Munakata appears to have no problems with the situation whatsoever and Yata really wishes this guy would stop getting so close into his personal space. They enter the club and the auction is just beginning, there's Fushimi all dolled up and maybe like held in a cage looking all sexy and helpless on stage. Yata almost chokes seeing Fushimi in that outfit and Munakata has to like fake a kiss to keep him from giving them away. Up on stage Fushimi sees this and he feels his heart drop, like he recognizes Yata and Munakata even in their disguises but he didn't think those two were actually this close and seeing someone else get so close to Misaki reminds him how he'll never really be good enough to be with Yata himself.

The auction starts, the Strain stating that the winner will get Fushimi's first kiss and even though this means at least Fushimi's life isn't in danger Yata's like wait what the fuck over my dead body, no one is stealing Saruhiko's first kiss except him. It turns out though that this isn't just a monetary auction, it's like a battle royale for Fushimi's kiss and suddenly Munakata and Yata are pitted against all these Strains all fighting for Fushimi's kiss. Yata fights his hardest but even he can't hold a candle to Munakata, who manages to take down every Strain that approaches him and in the end gets to dramatically throw off his disguise as he defeats the Strain who kidnapped Fushimi in the first place.

The Strain can't believe that the Blue King himself came here and he tosses Munakata the key to Fushimi's cage, saying the kiss is his. Yata finds his fists clenching as he steps up on the stage and he has to hold himself back, like if this is what Saruhiko wants Yata can't interfere. Munakata glances back at Yata as he says that there is someone else with a stronger claim than himself to that particular kiss, throwing Yata the keys. Yata's eyes widen and he goes to free Fushimi, who is still very confused about Yata and Munakata and why they're suddenly a couple. Yata says he knows he wasn't the highest bidder or anything but he can't let anyone else kiss the person he loves, sweeping Fushimi up all dramatically and giving him a kiss right in front of all the gathered clansmen.

What if.. Munakata and suoh knew each other in highschool (and though its outside munakatas character) they decide they're in love and run away to get married. What do you think would happen then when they become kings?

I don't know, you could probably twist this to be in Munakata's character since he's the sort of person to take charge of things if he thinks his plans are sensible XD Like imagine Mikoto and Munakata meet in high school and they hate each other at first sight, like they obviously don't get along at all but of course they're also totally drawn to each other. They slowly realize that what they thought was hatred is actually simmering sexual tension and while Munakata continually questions his own judgment for choosing someone as lazy and unmotivated as Suoh Mikoto of all people he can't deny the attraction that's there. Maybe they find out though that once they graduate they'll be separated, like Munakata is expected to go to college overseas and Mikoto is expected to basically drop out and become a burden on society. Munakata comes up with a brilliant plan to avert this and shows up at school one day with a marriage certificate, a reservation for a hotel room where they may spend their wedding night, and a signed contract for their new apartment. Mikoto's pretty amused by this, for a straight-laced guy looks like Munakata can be impulsive when he wants to be and he figures why not, Mikoto's not interested in school anyway so he might as well marry this idiot and get things over with.

If they did get married then I wonder how this would affect them becoming Kings in general – we know Kings tend to awaken during some kind of traumatic, life-threatening kind of event and it seems like things would be different if the two of them were together. Munakata wouldn't go overseas so he wouldn't be on that plane while Mikoto presumably wouldn't be the leader of a gang, though maybe it turns out in a manner similar to that anyway. Like say Mikoto still hangs out at Kusanagi's bar fairly often even with being married to Munakata, he figures he has to make money somehow so he's not totally relying on Munakata and he works as a bouncer for Kusanagi instead. With all the mess happening in Shizume's underworld he just gets dragged into it by being close to Kusanagi and he still ends up awakening as King trying to protect himself, Kusanagi and Totsuka in a similar way as in canon.

Now imagine him coming home to Munakata afterward and Munakata would immediately know that something's changed about him. Mikoto just shrugs and then holds out a hand to Munakata, glowing red as he wonders if Munakata's scared at all. Munakata doesn't take that hand though, only raises his eyebrow and tells Mikoto to come in for dinner. I think Munakata would be intrigued about Mikoto's powers and probably have his own ideas about how Mikoto should use them (similar to that 'Red clansman Munakata' ask I had once) but he also feels like that power isn't necessarily suited to himself and considers 'husband' to be a different level of importance from 'clansman.' Things remain fairly peaceful between them until the day Munakata goes overseas for his job and his flight gets hijacked on the way home.

The two of them being married while being Kings of opposing clans would be interesting. I could see them being professionally at odds but personally fine, like Munakata's decided the easiest way to make this work is to separate the relationship of 'the Blue King and the Red King' from the relationship between 'Suoh Mikoto and Munakata Reisi.' Thus the two of them can fight to their heart's content as Kings and then go home and cuddle and have sex like nothing strange happened (if anything it adds a bit of spice to their relationship). Where things get messy is when Totsuka dies, because now it's so much harder for Munakata to keep his distance as 'the Blue King' when as Mikoto's husband all he wants is to save Mikoto's life. Mikoto recognizes this too and stops coming home after Totsuka dies, imagine Munakata sitting alone in his apartment drinking and looking at the door as he murmurs 'so that is what you've chosen, Suoh?'

Fushimi finds himself suffering from a fainting spell by a Strain? And hard working Fushimi keeps his day going somehow. Wouldnt that be a miracle? xD

This is making me think of that ‘coughing blood’ Strain from a fewdays ago, yet another one to add to the list of Strain powers thatputs Fushimi ever closer to his true destiny as a romance heroine.aAl he needs now is a fainting couch for him to swoon dramaticallyonto at various times. He would probably find the fainting Strainreally irritating though, like he just wants to overwork himself andspend hours awake working on paperwork and now he suddenly keepsfainting at his desk every few minutes. At first maybe nobody thinksthat the Strain power even did anything, like Fushimi gets hit by theStrain power and gets back up, continuing his pursuit, but then aminute later he gets dizzy and faints. Everyone’s fussing over himbut they figure this is just the consequence of his usual overworkinghimself and that as long as he’s sent back to headquarters for somerest he’ll be fine. Except for once Fushimi actually got a good fullnight’s sleep the night before and he wasn’t feeling even close totired so he has no idea why he fainted. He ends up in Scepter 4’sinfirmary getting tested to be sure that like his blood pressuredidn’t suddenly drop or something but all tests come back indicatingthat he’s fine and he’s not even suffering from exhaustion. Fushimi’sannoyed that he had to waste so much time getting poked and proddedfor no reason and he’s all ready to go back to work since thealphabet squad still hasn’t caught the Strain. Except as soon as heleaves the infirmary and starts to walk back to the office he faintsagain and wakes up with his face flat on the floor and a few namelessScepter 4 bishounen leaning over him asking if he’s okay.

From that point on it’s an endless battle between Fushimi’s desire tokeep working and continue business as usual and the Strain power thatkeeps making him faint at random intervals. Everyone’s a bitconcerned that he’s going to faint while he’s running around and thenhit his head or something so he’s mostly confined to the office, it’spretty much made known that if anyone sees Fushimi slumped over hiscomputer don’t worry, he’ll wake up in a couple minutes and he’sgoing to be in a really bad mood so leave him alone. Imagine Munakatagets the brilliant idea to dig up like this old couch from deep inthe back of one of Scepter 4’s closets and a couple of the alphabetboys are assigned to move it to wherever Fushimi is at any given timebecause naturally he needs his own fainting couch (hey, he could hithis head on the hard floor and get brain damage okay). Fushimi is notamused at everyone treating him like some poor porcelain doll whocan’t handle hard work and he’s determined to keep himself fromfainting by any means necessary. Actually I could see him makinghimself really sick because of this too, like he feels as though thefainting spells are making him look weak and useless and Fushimihates that so he decides to double down and work extra hardand starts going off on his own to gather intel on the Strain anddrinks a bunch of coffee while staying up well past midnight trackingit. Then the next morning he’s trying to debrief Munakata and thealphabet squad on his findings and he ends up swooning right intoAwashima’s princely arms. He wakes up in his room with Munakatasitting next to him sternly telling him to rest, Fushimi’s annoyedand mutters that it’s just the stupid Strain power right and Munakatainforms him that in fact they have caught the Strain and it turns outthe power wears off after less than a day, Fushimi’s most recentcollapse was all his own doing. Fushimi looks away and clicks histongue at that, trying to blow it off as nothing, but Munakata justsmiles and sternly tells Fushimi that Fushimi is to be resting in hisroom for the remainder of the day, while Munakata does appreciateFushimi’s work ethic he would appreciate it more if it did notinvolve his third in command fainting in the middle of the day fromlack of sleep.
