HMMM both ! i love reading other people's headcanons and bios and stuff and seeing how they fit with / mesh with my own or potential conflicts or scenarios that can rise from them :D it also just helps to see how a person writes their muse and what the muse's priorities and personality are like. but i do also get ideas spontaneously sometimes

oh gosh im actually not sure... ig like graphics and stuff and generally catching up on new trends like the whole "a study in:" and pinned posts and carrds and stuff. i haven't actively roleplayed in like... a WHILE lmao and im still very much stuck in that kinda era so i do feel a bit outdated at times

HMM. i think either is good ! i like being able to write with people solely on the basis of knowing them rather than having to get into an entirely new piece of media, but i think knowing the fandom itself can be good too ! but with fandoms i feel like there's an added pressure of wondering whether you're as well versed in it as everybody else is, or if you'll be seen as an outsider because you're new, yk ? i think i prefer knowing muns because at least i know people like me SKJHFJDFH i do enjoy interacting with new fandoms however, it's gotten me into a few good things :D

@cherryfinolahobbes anyone who says OC's shouldn't be part of fandoms should go and check out this blog right here. I don't think I've ever seen a muse woven through a fandom with so much care. The mun is just as wonderful, ever patient and happy to listen to my antics while go tackling house hold tasks. I wish we would chat more. I need to make more time for that!! (Also she's got brilliant recepies and food tips, honestly how can you not love that?)

@strxngemxgick I know this muse and mum haven't been around for a while. But they are such an infinitely wonderful and talented person. They've sparked my joy for artistic language and long form posts when there's a partner that matches the enthusiasm and length. I got to explore a softer side and more tragic stories with Nat in all our writing ant it is truly delightful. I hope they will one day decide to come back but even outside of Tumblr the mun is always considerate and so supportive. I'm always happy when they have a minute to chat.

   I honestly think it's a combination of both, especially when it comes to writing Luffy! For example, if i see that someone has a straw hat verse, i immediately start getting ideas and want to be part of that if i can. and i'm sure ideas pop up when i read metas too, i just can't think of any specific instances right now. i do think the majority of ideas ( especially with Luffy ) come from the most random shit in my brain though, and then somehow eventually manifest into something different? at least for new interactions, otherwise ideas come as i discuss headcanons ooc with other muns, which in a way is like reading them, just not reading them on the dash. i guess in some chaotic way, my ideas come from everywhere, from every direction, and i genuinely don't know how to to sort through them all??

    like just the other day, i was riding home from work, and i have no idea how i got to this thought, but i got to thinking about Luffy and entomophagy ( eating insects ) and i had to scribble that down as soon as i walked in the door. now that i think about it though, i think it's because i had been discussing food/eating habits with wilder the day before, which originally stemmed from their meta on Doffy's food habits. so yeah, all the ideas, all the time, inspired from so many different sources!

   i think at this point i am very rarely intimidated. once upon a time i was, but coming into this fandom originally by myself AND writing one of the most friendly and outgoing characters, i didn't really see room to let intimidation keep me from interacting? i was definitely nervous at first with writing a new character, and a main, beloved, and complex character at that. but people were very chill as i gradually figured out my voice for Luffy, and now those nerves are pretty much gone, because after 7 months of having this blog, i have confidence in the way i write him! :D

   i think of maybe two or three instances where "intimidation" was a factor, but i look back on it now, and i think it was more of an uncertainty on how to communicate with certain people, like being unable to get a read if that makes sense? so i guess i'm more so intimidated when i don't know how to start the conversation. that's why originally i had an interest tracker on this blog to kind of get an idea of what people would be interested in talking about or plotting, because i am autistic and that direct "this is what i want" really helps me when reaching out. i'm thinking about revamping that and maybe linking it again since i've definitely gotten several new folks here since removing it.

Heya! First off, I’d like to welcome you to my little corner of the tumblrverse! So, first things first, I figured I’d share some facts about the mun behind the curtain. I am a 24 y/o He/Him, who has finished High School, and mainly lives at home. I also have some depression, which impacts my ability to do most things apart from surf the web, watch videos and RP. [HI HELLO. Thank you for the ask! Minecraft in general has been a special interest of mine for over 12 years now. I started playing when it came out on Xbox in 2011! But as to why I picked a Minecraft askblog to run has many things that lead up to this answer.]

[Askblogs actually got me onto tumblr in the first place. I used to have… Several Adventure Time OCs that I made blogs for. I used to do uhh askblogs in the Adventure Time fandom up until 2017. and then in late 2017 I found another thing I liked. Made an askblog for that. All the other ones I used to run are gone now, and I thought it'd be good for my mental health to start making art for fun and sharing it online while I have my sick episodes. So I guess its mainly because It's comfortable and what I'm used to! :D Partially because I need to fill my day with Something. It's something to do! A Very fun something as well.]

[I have no uhhh particularly strong interests in any certain mob. I just like the game in general and have for a While. I wasn't around for veteran MC askblogs but I would've LOVED to be a part of it at the beginning. Best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. Second best time is today!]
