pfft, I could never. I am going to miss one question because someone else sent it, too.

When did you first start writing? 2008. I was on Mibba (writing site) and someone's journal post was an advert for a Proboards Potter forum.

In what language did you start writing? English. It was only like 2019 that I started trying to learn another language och jag är så dålig på talar svenska x.x (and I'm so bad at talking Swedish)

If your mother tongue is not the language you write now, what caused you to switch languages? N/A - one day I'll get good enough at Swedish to RP in it but that ain't today.

What was the first muse that you’ve written? Her name was Judy Lewis on that Proboards site in 2008. I also wrote her twin brother (Jesse Lewis). She was a Slytherin half-blood, he was a Hufflepuff half-blood.

I once answered an ask about her on the Bringer's blog so here's the link.

Do you still write your first muse? Nope. I consider remaking her sometimes--especially when memes ask about first muses--but I think she belongs in 2008 and in the fanfic I was writing at the time.

What is the muse that you write for the longest? This is answered here. The answer is Bam (first made 2009 on a Potter site I made); 2009 Gerard Way had that vibe and then they dyed their hair red and Danger Days came out and I was like 👀👀👀

Also because of Bam, and me being so specific when it came to making graphics (avatars and signatures), I can tell you which year a Gerard Way picture came from between the years of 2003 and 2013 based entirely on their hair.

I used to think I was neurotypical btw. Teenage me making a Notepad document of Gerard Way GIFs organised by hair style and year ('long black, 2005') like, 'yeah, this is a normal level of interest in a subject.' It is not, but it is a fun fact I get to whip out now.

In what style did you start to write (First person, third person, *-style or novel-style?) I have always written in third person, past tense, I guess novel-style? Used to do a lot of one-liners but--and I actually mentioned this to someone the other day--I ended up on a lot of sites with minimum word counts (usually only like 100 words, which sounds like a lot but is surprisingly small).

My longest post pre-Tumblr was like 2k words because me and a thread partner were just seeing how long we could make our posts in that specific thread. We also tried to go back to one-liners only for a thread (for fun) and we were struggling.

What caused you to start writing? What was your key point? General writing was probably this one book series about a man who lived with a family that made clay dragon statues and the dragon statues came to life. I looked it up; The Last Dragon Chronicles. I did not read all of them.

RP specifically was the site advert coming when I had like just started writing a Potter fanfic of Goblet of Fire from the point of view of Random OC (Judy Lewis, who was a Gryffindor in the fic).

Do you regret starting writing? No. It taught me how to spell, for starters. I was dogshit at spelling and grammar back in the day and I've gotten so much better just through practice and actually learning what things are used for. Also like... you get the best reactions. Even if I ever managed to quit RP--which I don't think I will--I would never be able to fully stop writing because of those reactions. One way or another, I will inflict fictional suffering on people.

As a kid, I wanted to be an author. Making characters and worlds is way too fun.

Is there anything you would have changed when you started writing now that you have more experience? RP specific; no. Writing in general; I'd have started writing proper English from the beginning and not spent years deciding that full stops are only used for the end of a paragraph, actually.

Also some of the older characters don't have their apps saved at all and I'm still mad about it. I struggled making Arnulf because his old app and all his old information is gone. I'm gonna die mad at past me about like 17 different things and it's fine because they deserve it.

How do you describe writing / rp to others? Generally I don't, but if I had to, I would describe it as 'y'know writing a story? It's like that but you only control one character.' It's not accurate--NPCs exist--but like it's the closest I can get considering I'm genuinely trash at describing anything lmao

On what platform did you start to write? Accidentally answered this in the first answer. Oops. Proboards. I actually refused to go to other forum sites for the longest time because I didn't understand the coding for posts. On Proboards it was like [b]bold[/b], on InvisionFree it was <b>bold</b>, I think Jcink was [b]bold[/b]?

I did eventually also go on InvisionFree (one site, a Buffy/The Vampire Diaries crossover site) and Jcink (multiple sites, mostly Marvel/DC crossover sites, a couple of panfandom sites, a town site?, and at least one Potter site). Jcink might be my favourite of the three.

There was also 'Boards' which was to Proboards what Jcink was to InvisionFree (Jcink sites have 'powered by InvisionFree' at the bottom, Boards sites had 'powered by Proboards').

The Joker is a fan of a good ol’ wifebeater. As for the bottom part, he prefers wearing boxers or trunks, usually of dark green or royal purple colors. Patterns may vary from simple stripes to smiley faces. He does have batman patterned boxers and wears them on special occasions or when he just feels like it. No clean underwear? It’s all part of a plan.

😩: um, everything? I mean, nolanverse Joker is one of the most difficult villains to portray, because the writer always have to bear in mind that the character is a villain with no motifs, he can't be bribed with money or power, he does things just for shits and giggles, because he can, he has no origin story and he is perceived as an absolute, a chaotic evil being. Although he denies it or says otherwise, the Joker is a great schemer, and he plans his actions ten steps ahead, he has a plan B, plan C and plan Z, and when it comes to threads, asks and memes I already have a vague long-game plot in mind for our muses, no matter how casual his reply might look.

the muse itself is capricious, and sometimes it's difficult to summon the Joker into my head, but when he does visit me it's fun and scary simultaneously and there are times when you realize just how dark the plot goes and you marvel how that even happened and the only explanation to that is that the muse overtook the writer in that moment.

writing Joker's POV is probably the hardest, the most challenging and yet the most entertaining part for me. sometimes finishing a draft takes an insane amount of time and creative energy from me, but it's always rewarding in the end.

This blog is multiship, male lean. Fair warning; Lorroakan isn't particularly interested in romance or sex, and he's a prick. I'm open to shipping, BUT ships will most likely be toxic / one-sided, particularly with Rolan (with the potential to develop into something wholesome over time!), and slow burn. By slow I mean glacial. In most cases, at least.

I won't write smut on the dash. The steamy stuff will be moved to discord or IMs.

GENERAL Lorroakan is in his mid-late 30s, fairly young considering his achievements (mostly obtained through deceitful methods).

He presents himself as the great archmage of Baldur's Gate, but while he is a compentent wizard and keen enchanter, he is nowhere near as powerful as he claims to be.

Lorroakan laid claim to Ramazith Tower after its previous owner mysteriously disappearend, and he refuses to share the knowledge it holds (at least for free).

He is originally from Athkatla, one of the wealthiest cities in Faerun, but he grew up in the shadows of its splendor. His family (mother, father, two sisters, four brothers) could barely make ends meet, but Lorroakan has always been ambitious and harbored dreams of one day being just as wealthy and powerful as the elite of the Gem District. The practice or use of arcane magic is explicitly illegal within the city of Athkatla, but that didn't stop him; he practiced in secret whenever he could get his hands on a spellbook.

PERSONALITY IN A NUTSHELL . . . as interpreted by the mun ; Ambitious, diligent, intelligent, clever, creative ; selfish, arrogant, manipulative, power-hungry, petty, vain.

He has a superiority complex ; he is vain, has an overly high opinion of himself, makes boastful claims that aren't backed up by reality, has a habit of putting down those who outshine him.

(The way I see it) Lorroakan isn't a straight up villain. However, his ambitions and narcissistic nature drive him to commit morally questionable, and at times, outright despicable acts.

Because The Stanley Parable very much breaks the fourth wall in all kinds of ways, so do my muses - but mostly this is relegated to the story side of things, that is to say, things that take place outside of threads.

While for the most part their opinions are their own, because the fourth wall breaking aspect is also heavily colored by the nature of satire, their opinions on these real life trends also tend to be mine when they are criticizing the trends. For example, when you see Thursday commenting on how BBC Sherlock never actually explained how Sherlock faked his death and how much of a "fuck you" that was to the show's fans, that is my opinion spoken through Thursday, because it's satire and we're breaking the fourth wall.

You might also see someone like Stanley saying, "Well, I thought the fourth season of Sherlock was great," and then Doom being like, "....IT WAS SHIT, STANLEY." Of course Stanley is going to say he likes it, because he's Stanley. he's mild mannered and likes everything. Doom is a hater, but also very critical, and in this case her opinion of the season four of BBC Sherlock is also my own. xD

Things like that aren't to be taken too seriously in the context of roleplay, though. That's satire, and that's why that kind of content is kept mostly to comments my muses make on the dash and in the more story aspects of my blog.

🔦 Connect the dots between you and your muse. Ways that you're the same, different, last time you thought about them, etc.

I actually made a post about this recently! A lot of my muses carry with them some of my struggles with anxiety and depression, things of that nature.

One thing I didn't really discuss in that post, though, are how I gave some of my muses some of my health issues, for representation.

Like, Thursday and Doomsday (and all Days) have PCOS, because I do. It's something I've struggled with my whole life and affects me profoundly in a number of ways.

I actually discovered my asexuality through roleplaying, funny enough. I've never felt much sexual attraction through my entire life and I just never had a word for it, until coming to tumblr and roleplaying, and now I see myself reflected in my own muses and something just clicked. I'm not sure exactly where I lie on the ace spectrum, though, just... somewhere on there.

I process a lot of my need for external validation through my muses too, like James is just outrageous with his need for attention, so I get to purge all of that through him and it's actually been really cathartic for me? I don't know, it's hard to put it into words. It's something I've struggled with for a long time and I actually really hate it, it's something that's deeply complicated and I've been working through it in therapy, and oddly enough, roleplaying James has been like, showing me how silly it all is, but also to be more understanding of it, like why those feelings are there. It's like, I get you bro. I get you. But you're still a jerk, and I need you to get through this.

Also, pretty much all my muses are bisexual, but I myself am straight. I let my muses exist and tell me what their sexuality is, and the more I think about it, the more I realize it's because they're just... open to everybody. They're just accepting and open. And that's how I am. I'm not sure who I am anymore. I've been in a straight relationship since high school, and I don't feel attraction to anybody else, so who's to say how things could have played out differently? I don't know. We'll say I'm "questioning" and put a pin in that, but I might not ever have an answer. I love all people, but not interested in that way, if that makes sense.

#4: Showing interest in interacting doesn't just mean replying to threads

Lately there have been a few PSAs going around, stating that "lack of interaction ≠ lack of interest". This rule is both true and false, depending on one's definition of interactions and interest. I think that it's time to clear up the main points of the matter, to avoid misunderstandings and conflicts.

What are interactions?

If we look at the formal definition of the word, an interaction is defined as a "reciprocal action or influence" and "communication or direct involvement with someone or something".

So, "interacting" basically means reaching out to someone else, in any sort of way. It's not merely answering threads or asks or IMs, it can be something simpler and quicker, as liking a post or sending an ask. It's not just producing content yourself, it's helping others to do so.

I would also like to put an emphasis on the reciprocal part of the first definition, because this aspect is extremely important when it comes to RPing. Writing and interacting with someone is a two-way street. When the effort is one-sided, it becomes tiring and frustrating pretty quickly. No one should be surprised to see others' interest in you waning, when they are constantly doing all the work and making all the efforts.

What is showing interest?

For what concern interest, the word means "the feeling of wanting to know or learn about something or someone".

Once again, there are plenty of ways to show that you are invested in your mutuals' content. It's not necessarily be a constant and loud presence. An ask from time to time or a small comment or even just a like let your writing partners know that you are interested in them and their blog(s).

So, to sum up, how can I interact with others and show interest towards them?

Interacting and showing interest is extremely easy and, in some forms, it takes less than a minute. It takes the same time of reblogging a PSA and it takes much less time than writing a post to say that you're "sorry for the lack of activity / interactions".

If you're busy / if real life and mental health are kicking your ass / if you don't have the energy to do more than lurking / if inspiration has been too flaky to write threads, here's a list of things that you can do to show your mutual that you're still interested in engaging them:

Like their headcanons posts (and optionally leave a comment if you feel like)

Like their edits / art / graphics / things they make (again, if you can, leaving a comment is nice too)

Send them OOC memes (headcanon memes, mun memes, and any IC meme that it's not a starter meme) when you see them posting some

These simple, quick things can reassure your writing partners of your interest more than any PSA about how "lack of interaction ≠ lack of interest".

Take-home message

We all have a life outside the internet, responsibilities, work and / or school, health issues, difficulties of various kinds, and so on. This has, of course, to be respected. However, if you have the time to reblog a PSA or to make a post about how "you're not ignoring people, you're just busy", then you have the time to drop a like on a mutual's post / HC / edit / whatnot or to send in a non-interaction meme.

Being busy IRL is not a valid justification not to do this. It comes off as making excuses for your unwillingness to do the bare minimum and for being lazy.

This is a low activity blog. I don't write daily. I am not fast. I have multiple blogs and a life outside of Tumblr. Please do not take any radio silence or inactivity personally; I am not ignoring you; I may just have things going on irl. That being said, I am usually pretty quick with OOC communication. My main goals for this blog are to have fun and develop strong IC and OOC bonds. I want to make friends. I may struggle with tone over text, so I may ask for clarification. I want clear, respectful communication OOC. Please tell me if I've upset you, etc. I can't usually tell otherwise.

This blog is 21+. Minors and those under 21 do not interact. Triggers that may be found on this blog include body horror/uncanny valley, comic typical violence, and mentions of eating disorders, body dysmorphia, and the poor treatment of models in the fashion industry. Any triggers will be tagged plainly as either 'trigger tw' or 'trigger'. I do not do fancy tags, nor do I really format my posts other than some bold and italics here and there. I do small text on occasion to match my partner's. My triggers include pregnancy, chainmail asks, and suggestive/smutty content. (I do write smut on occasion, and the reason it doesn't bother me then is because I can control what I see/my muse does. Boundaries do not get crossed when I'm in control.)

I enjoy memes/asks and think they are good icebreakers and can be used to guide plotting. Send as many as you'd like and don't be scared to send some. My slowness does not equal disinterest. Plotting is optional, as I know it can be difficult to do off the bat if some muses aren't from the same franchise/fandom. However, I do try my best to plot when the time comes and find it enjoyable when muses really click. I would like to plot any action-heavy threads, just so I can have a bit of an idea of how to approach the situation. It doesn't have to be in-depth, but a little guidance is beneficial to me.

I'd rather personal blogs not follow or reblog my content. If you have a roleplay sideblog, I will be more inclined to follow if it is clearly stated on your blog that you have one and it is linked on a pinned post. I'm selective in the way that I reserve the right to choose who I wish to follow and interact with. Do not attempt contact if I've soft/hard blocked you, my comfort and boundaries are not up for negotiation. Do not reblog any of my headcanons nor use them as yours. Do not steal any art featured on my blog and claim it as yours. I would rather not interact with blogs that pretend to be the character on Tumblr, blogs that mostly do one-liners, nor do I wish to engage in asterisks roleplay. I don't mind shorter content, but I prefer literate roleplay.

I love shipping of all kinds and wish to develop a number of unique relationships between our muses. Don't force a ship onto me, especially not a romantic one. I enjoy smut (when I write it) but please don't use Polly for just that kind of thread. I only write smut with those I am close with OOC and am comfortable with. That aside, I adore pre-established relationships of any kind. If you ever have an idea for one, please pitch it because I love developing them.

My mindset is that roleplay is a hobby and not a job. Please respect this and don't pressure or rush me with replies. I write when I want and can; I'm not paid to do this, sadly. Mun does not equal muse. I'm a stickler for open communication and would rather talk out conflict than let it fester and ruin a friendship. Please speak up if I've forgotten to tag something, if my wording or tone came off as wrong/weird to you, etc. I will gladly explain myself or take accountability where needed. Besides all of that, I hope you take the time to read Polly's bio and look through the Do's and Don'ts section below! I encourage questions if you have any at any time. I think they can be thought-provoking and fun, as well as maybe even contributing to new lore or a headcanon.

DO'S:

Allow your character to react negatively to Polly. Polly can be scary looking to the average person, especially those not used to her abilities.

Reach out for plotting and just general chatting! I'd love to get to know you and your muse or muses! I enjoy pre-established ships (of any kind) so much and find them to be more fun than starting every interaction from the very beginning.

Get physical within reason! I'm not saying to punch her randomly, but you can have your muse stretch her, shake her, grab her, etc. She is the human equivalent of a Stretch Armstrong.

Ask questions, whether ooc or ic! I want to make things as understandable as possible.

Talk to me about crossovers/potential verses! I'd love to create something fun with you.

DON'TS:

However, referring to the first point on the DO'S list, do not use this as an excuse to put her down/bully her ooc. Playful teasing is fine, but please respect my feelings.

Godmodding isn't fun. I would like any major or life-threatening injuries, deaths, etc. to be plotted out. Also, don't assume you know everything she's thinking and don't fully control her.

Please don't pressure or rush me to answer threads or asks. I will get to them as I can.

Please don't assume she and Plastic Man are carbon copies of each other. Something he may do might be something she wouldn't, and vice versa.

Don't feel the need to water down your muse!! Villains are villains, let it rip.
