maia is lactose intolerant. she likes those bougie starbucks drinks with the oat milk but who doesn't? and anyways she can't usually afford them so she drinks her coffee black

yasmin has a little stuffed teddy that she's had since the day she was born. his name is mr. oso and he lives at the bottom of her underwear drawer where hopefully no one can find him but keiran definitely does

maurelle's wings, when they're out, are translucent and look like amber phantom wings. she doesn't rely on flying by any means, so they don't get much use

when they go back to the human realm (not often), adra and calista usually stay close to adra's home. however, they have ventured out into forests further north/west, even going as far as the coasts or the mountains as adra wants to explore more

for times when damian can't communicate enough in asl (which does happen!) they use speech to text for him, and hugo just responds by typing. eventually, hugo starts keeping a whiteboard by the bed for in case damian stays over and they want to communicate without having to get out the technology, just in case damian needs it for some reason
