I actually like Red and Dorothy. It doesn’t bother me and I am completely okay with Red being for men and for ladies. So if it winds up being Red and Dorothy or Red and Mulan I am just fine with it. So long as it isn’t Whale I will be just fine.

there was NO easy way to do this, at all. how did you break up with someone who you though was your soulmate? that you would have once MOVED heave and hell to make happy? this was best for both of them in the end. he loved her, and he always would. belle bless her soul would always own a piece of his HEART. but in the end the both had too many issues to fix, for their future as a couple to ever work out. 

for one thing belle wanted a MAN who was just no inside him, never was if he were honest. she wanted a handsome hero to sweet her off her feet and CARRY her into the sunset. he was neither of these things. never WOULD be any of those things. and she no matter what she said she couldn’t love all of him, it just wasn’t something in her. he shouldn’t have to change himself, and she shouldn’t have to change her heart. it wasn’t FAIR to either of them. 

the baby is why he had been SCARED to say anything. but he realized he didn’t want him and belle just staying together for their child. that was not fair to the child, they would only get hurt in the end. he would be there every step of the way for her, and he would not let her SHUT him out from his child, he would make that clear. he didn’t want to hurt her, he never did. and this HURTING her in this way might be the only way not to hurt her in the long run. 

so he found a way to contact her. their CHILD was safe and in the clear. he had done all that hades had asked. now it was time to tell her. he heard the bell above the shop door ring. ‘ hades has FREED me from the contract, our baby shall be our baby ‘ he said simply. ‘ but theres something else i would like to talk to you about, concerning us actually. ‘ he PAUSED and turned to face her. 

‘ belle, i love you. i probably will never stop. but i think its time i let you go. for both of our sakes. i never should have tried to tell you what you can and cannot accept from me.’

There’s tons of anxiety here. Like, tons. She spends all her time thinkin’ about when she’s gettin’ punched in the face next. Mostly it’s anytime Buffy’s fingers move and anytime she’s too close and she keeps lookin’ at her mouth and her stupid face and those goddamn green eyes. She’s freaked, spooked, fucked up over Buffy. Always. But the second she met her-- Chosen Uno Buffy Anne Summers-- something took root in her dead, decaying chest and it was like the one pure thing that’d ever been in there, the one single thing wasn’t filthy. Like where the ground was frozen suddenly there was just one daisy. And she was, then, in love, and she didn’t know what love was. Sorta almost felt it once, with Kenny, maybe, but it came, it went, she was nothin’ again.

With B she’s somethin’. Especially these days, when they’re a team again. She thinks, sometimes, totally embarrassed, about how Buffy saw her wild, reckless youth. She wants to say, sometimes, that kid was always Buffy’s, she just took her. Still is, this woman, not the kid, anymore. Even if Buffy makes her feel like she’s fillin’ shoes she doesn’t fit into.

B’s the one good thing.

Most would have been convinced by the smile, and there were times even Tara herself had fallen for it. Now, however, wasn’t one of those times. They’d all been pushed to their brinks as of late, both time-wise and energy-wise. The number of times she’d come back to find Dawn asleep on the couch was too numerous to count. The last thing she wanted to see was that same fate fall upon Buffy.

There was a puddle from the never ending rain on the floor and well in the boots Red wore she wound up slipping and catching herself on the table, knocking the drink over. Taking the towel out from her apron the she wolf reached over pushing the drink that was spilling over the edge of the table away from the librarian. “I can met you in the laundry room and give you one of my outfits.” She offered hoping maybe this would be a peace offering for that stain Red was sure the tea left in that shirt.
