Once a Great Knight, renown throughout the land for her martial prowess and compassion. A strong sense of justice has always guided his hand, but recently, something has changed. He seems….colder. Distant. More calculated, than in years past. She knows how people whisper. About him. About the Goddess who blessed him, that he might continue on, and to whom she pledges her Undying faith in the place of any One True God. No matter, how people gossip– no matter, that witches and heretics scatter, at the sight of her. They ‘ought to. Her crusade is a righteous one, after all. She will create a just land. Make good on the blessing granted. // IMANIA is cold, strange, and robotic. She has her feelings, of course, but a duty to a sense of Universal Justice seems to keep them on ice-solid lock-down….mostly. Her peers say she’s become more callous, in recent years; her many battles with evil-doers and sinners having only seemed to scar her on the inside. They call her The Undying, having a penchant to walk away from battles no normal human should survive, sometimes seemingly untouched. The truth is, she shouldn’t have survived. She should have died long ago, recognizes the strangeness of her existence. She is searching for the Why. What do you do when the one person to show you kindness is killed? You bring them back. Over, and over, and over again, until you get it right. The first time IMANIA died, it was horrible. She didn’t even know his name, and he had defended her so fervently…..it was her fault, after all, so it was her responsibility to fix it. It took so many attempts, but this is her closest yet. Every time she brings him back, he remembers a little more, is a little more himself, and a little less the components making him up. Less motor more function, less gray and more matter!! And she can see it in his eyes, all glass and sunlight: He’s looking for her. After calling her Goddess, all this time, he’s finally looking for her…. and she doesn’t mind reviving him, in the meantime, while he searches. So what, if he seemed a little different, this time? She wants so badly to finally have that tea party with him, in person! //WANNOUR is enthusiastic, offbeat, and whimsical. IMANIA saved her life, believing the heresy allegations waged against her to be false… and they were, of course! She was a witch– a scientist!– not a devil worshipper. He gave his life for her, and to repay the debt, she brought her back. Wrong, and then righter, and now rightest, never losing hope that one day they would be able to reunite, and finally talk about this whole silly ordeal!! And, maybe, if WANNOUR is lucky, something more…?? 😳 Her optimism knows no bounds, leading her to often ignore red flags and live a little to the left of reality. She’ll gladly help you, if you’ve got the courage to come knocking on her door, and aren’t opposed to her………unorthodox… methodology.

E'd never felt anything before, really. Jinn weren't supposed to be so easily swayed by the human consciousness. His own tribe valued the dignity of a blank slate--clear of emotions weighing one down. Yet e had always struggled with such a standard, even as a young pup and even more now that e'd come of age.

"Can't you see that?! Please! Spare me your judgment!" He's raising his voice, which catches in his throat as more tears drip down his cheeks. "I do not understand how humans can-- How you just--" Frustration as the young jinn roughly wipes tears from eir face.
