I think the ending of Episode 2 would be more impactful if the episode hadn’t just convinced me of the opposite, haha. Like maybe I’m being a clown, but I don’t think it’s him??? Also the deal with the foreman doesn’t seem to be as clear-cut either. At that point, I think their dad was already dead, so the foreman probably preyed on the sister, knowing the siblings were vulnerable. I see two scenarios if that’s the case. 1) The sister killed him in self-defense and Hee Sung is covering for her, or 2) Hee Sung came to her rescue and killed him. Though the foreman could’ve gone after Hee Sung, I suppose, and the sister stumbled upon the scene. Whatever the case, the siblings parted ways afterwards and that’s the blank time that still needs to be filled in. As for the restaurant guy/his old colleague, Hee Sung’s conversation with him made it pretty clear that HS is not the one who’s been tormenting the guy for the past month. There’s someone else out there masquerading as Do Hyun Soo. I wonder if it’s on purpose and this mystery person is planning on framing him. (I mean, the foundation is right there and HS had that line about bad reputations.) OR this person is emulating Do Min Seok for a reason, and Hyun Soo is the convenient fall guy. Either way, raincoat guy’s lair is definitely where Hee Sung was drowning in the opening scene of Episode 1. I’m very excited to see where this thread goes. I know the end of Hee Sung’s conversation with his old colleague was probably meant to make us think his thoughts turned murderous (so we then doubt HS at the end). But Hee Sung was almost killed and never attempted revenge all these years, let alone retaliating in that forest. He’s determined to keep his current life, so why would he jeopardize this now? Hee Sung is able to neutralize the threat restaurant guy poses with words, AND he still has Moo Jin in his basement to worry about. I highly doubt he would add more to his plate at the moment unless he’s just really fond of both pressure and multi-tasking. What is Hee Sung’s life though? Serial killer for a father, a fugitive suspected of murder… and if that wasn’t enough, he was almost murdered as well. Then there’s whatever’s going on with his “parents”! Moving on to Ji Won - it’s another case for her, this time to get her face to face with a psychopath. Said psychopath also plants the seed in her head that there may be one in her life too. Ji Won shows her smarts yet again throughout the investigation, but what I loved in particular is how dark she got during her confrontation with the suspect. Of course she ultimately has her morals and wouldn’t cross the line (though that is going to be tested later), but damn if she wasn’t scary af when she slapped her and held the razor blade to the suspect’s throat. I thought she and HS matched pretty well in this instance, lol. xP As for the fight with the kids - yeah, Eun Ha shouldn’t have touched the other girl’s doll without permission, but that doesn’t mean she deserved to be hit! Her nose even bled! Like Ji Won, I was also shocked at Hee Sung immediately apologizing and not even asking for an apology in return. However, we see that Hee Sung was actually thinking long-term re: Eun Ha. Their conversation about reputation was very telling, and one of things that makes me think he was falsely accused. His reputation was horrible because of both his father and his status as a social outcast (due to how he doesn’t process emotion normally). Hee Sung is 100% on his daughter’s side. We get the enlightening conversation plus the revelation of what happened to the doll afterward. Of course it’s wrong to steal and trash a child’s doll in retaliation, but if he’s gonna be amoral anyway, I’ll enjoy this petty action on behalf of his daughter, lol. Eun Ha was breaking my heart with her tears and apologies. The child actress is great! And oh so adorable. Speaking of child actors, the drama has done such a great job casting the younger versions of the characters. Young Hee Sung even has JG’s ears, haha. And Im Na Young (Pristin💔), who plays the younger version of his sister (the character’s first name is “Hae Soo”, nobody touch me), has a similar build to Jang Hee Jin. I can’t get over how Moo Jin (the reporter) tormented Hee Sung when they were younger, while also suspecting him to be capable of murder. Maybe don’t antagonize him??? Years later, he writes an article that brings up all this shit again. But somehow he thought it would fine to try and track down Hyun Soo. And then when he comes across him by accident, he approaches him instead of getting the hell out of dodge. AND AFTER THAT when he’s tied up and begging, he thinks he can try and reason with him, lol. By writing that article, Moo Jin stirred the pot for both Hee Sung/Hyun Soo and his sister. It’s said explicitly that their father didn’t get much media coverage back then, but now it’s all going to come back with a vengeance. From the flashback, we see that there were already rumors swirling around and I bet Moo Jin’s younger self only fanned the flames then too. To reiterate, at the moment I’m definitely leaning towards Hee Sung not being a serial killer. Of course, this doesn’t mean he hasn’t committed murder at all, but I don’t think he was his father’s accomplice at the very least and he’s unaware of whatever’s going on with raincoat guy. In the present, he’s just been living his life until Moo Jin walked in the door. I’m still going to keep my clown make-up on stand by, but I’m a little more confident than I was with the first episode. Another solid episode, in my opinion! Keep it going, Flower of Evil. I’m rooting for you. My Twitter liveblog for Ep2: twitter.com/krysyuy/status/1288965004364926976

Team develops foldable and washable luminescent film
Infrared radiation, which is invisible yet highly utilizable, is used in various fields and for various purposes, such as for coronavirus detection (i.e. through thermal imaging cameras and biosensors). A Korean research team has developed a technology that visualizes infrared radiation and expands its application range.
The Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST, Acting President Yoon Seok-jin) announced that Dr. Kwon Seok-joon's research team at the Nanophotonics Research Center has developed a multi-functional luminescent film that can visualize near-infrared light through wavelength conversion that converts near-infrared light to visible light. The research was jointly conducted by the KIST team and Ko Doo-hyun, a professor of applied chemistry at Kyung Hee University (President Han Gyun-tae).
The conversion of invisible infrared or ultraviolet light into visible light allows us to intuitively see the data contained in the light, and thus enables the use of infrared or ultraviolet light for displays or imaging devices. Quantum dots, recently used for high-definition TVs, can be seen as a type of wavelength conversion technology that converts ultraviolet light into visible light in displays.

A scandal that began with allegations that some of South Korea’s biggest male K-pop stars had drugged and raped women (The K-Pop sex and drugs scandal sweeping South Korea) and shared video of the acts has reignited perceived injustices in two older cases, highlighting abuses of power among the country’s elite.
The Burning Sun scandal, named for the club in Gangnam associated with Seungri, of boy group Big Bang, comes a year after women began rallying in the streets in a wave of protests against systemic sexual abuse and the pervasive use of spycams (The women taking on spycams in South Korea). Shocking revelations in the Burning Sun case have rocked South Korea daily in recent months – seven chart-topping K-pop stars have been arrested on a range of charges from drug possession to group sexual assault, although not all have been indicted.
But accusations of police bribery, obstruction of justice or cases being completely dismissed highlight corruption at the highest levels in South Korea go back to the Park Geun-hye administration, and had been the spark for the massive candlelight protests that drew millions to the streets in 2016–17.
Yang Sung-tae, a chief justice who headed the supreme court from 2011 to 2017 is now facing 47 charges, including allegedly instructing officials at the National Court Administration to interfere in trials in order to win favours from the then president. A further 10 judges have been referred to a disciplinary committee after a two-month review of 66 judges.
Now two decade-old cases resurfaced, one involving ex-vice justice minister Kim Hak-eui, and another centering on the death of actress Jang Ja-yeon. President Moon Jae-in has weighed in, saying:
The common factor is that [the cases concern] developments that took place among the privileged, and there is circumstantial evidence suggesting that the prosecutors and police purposely conducted incomplete investigations, and actively prevented the truth from being revealed.
Moon ordered investigations not just into Burning Sun, but into the police force, due to accusations of cover-ups at the club and others in the Gangnam and Hongdae districts, and also into alleged crimes committed by Kim Hak-eui in 2009 and Jang Ja-yeon’s death the same year.
Kim Hak-eui resigned from his role of vice justice minister in 2013 after video emerged of him allegedly raping a woman at a sex party at the home of businessman Yoon Jung-cheon five years earlier. The case was investigated twice in 2013 and 2014 but was thrown out despite the video, with prosecutors arguing that Kim could not be identified. An independent panel under the Ministry of Justice has concluded the original investigations were flawed and Kim has now been indicted on charges of receiving 170 million won ($143,700) and sexual favors in bribes from a construction contractor. The investigation did not confirm the rape allegation.
The tragic case of actress Jang Ja-yeon, who said she had been forced into sex by her agency, has also been reviewed. Jang, who starred in the K-drama TV hit Boys over Flowers, killed herself in 2009, leaving a seven-page note identifying 20 of the men allegedly involved, including influential figures in the entertainment and media industry. The review found that the police and prosecution failed to properly investigate her death, but as the list could not be found, there was not enough evidence to re-open the case.
The South Korean government’s Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism supports K-pop and other industries such as its lucrative K-dramas, which are exported as far as Cuba. It has seen K-pop become a multi-billion dollar business in its own right, as well as drawing consumers to Korean products and tourists to its shores.
The promise of such vast sums of money can act as a magnet for some who would do anything to make still more. Financial journalist Ha Hyun-Ock believes we are seeing the rise of a Korean mafia. “The ‘Burning Sun incident’, while involving drug dealing, prostitution, violence, tax evasion and collusion with police, overlaps with mafia activities,” he wrote for Korea JoongAng Daily.
When the University of Rome opened a class on the mafia, people said you need to understand the organisation to better understand Italy. Likewise, you need to understand the triangular mafia in Korea of celebrities, businessmen and public authorities to fully understand Korea.
As can be seen from the Kim Hak-eui case, such collusion is not confined to K-pop or entertainment, but there is a common thread: in all these cases where the powerful have abused their privilege, women are the primary victims. It’s symbolic of a patriarchal society that appears progressive, but has a long way to go in terms of equality.
South Korean women are well aware of this disparity and increasingly disinclined to accept the status quo. In recent weeks, they have protested outside the Blue House, the president’s official residence, at what they see as a failure of a justice system dominated by men at every level: police, prosecution and judiciary. Some wielded signs saying “Rape cartel”.
The police have reportedly made thousands of arrests in the course of the Burning Sun investigation (most are drug-related), but many of their own were accused of wrongdoing and few are sharing cells with the denizens of the Korean underworld and now disgraced stars.
The Ministry of Justice panel has recommended the creation of an independent body to investigate corruption among high-ranking government officials but the protesters are not the only ones who believe more must be done before a break with the past can truly be achieved.
“Few members of the public have a memory span or patience enough to watch days of police corruption [reporting],” wrote Oh Young-jin in the Korea Times. “In the public’s collective consciousness, the people whose supposed mission is to protect and serve are tainted beyond being salvaged. By offering up the celebrities, the police have satisfied the public and taken the spotlight off the police.”

POLYGLOT (5) / JJK
The prefix poly- comes from Greek and means "many" or "multi-." The last part of the word comes from the Greek term glōtta, meaning "language" or "tongue."  = a person who knows and is able to use several languages.
Tumblr media
Word: I’m no writer and English ain’t my mother tongue, but I’ll try my very best to make this as great as I possibly can. I’ll try to be your polyglot and put my weird romantic dreams into words. Pairing: reader x Jungkook Genre: romance Warnings: none
Word count: 2218 words
Summary: Your academic background consists of a wide range of languages. You only studied Korean with a linguistic point of view in mind, as Hangul is a perfect phonetic language. Learning a new culture and their music always excited you so when an opportunity arrises to be a translator in Korea you didn’t even hesitate for a second. No, you immediately booked your one way ticket without even being certain that you had the job.
PART (1) / PART (2) / PART (3) / PART (4) / / PART (6)
“Y/N this is going to be your first time so please don’t try to freak out.” Hyun Shik told me in the car on our way to the airport. We were going to a more private kind of airport but reporters and photographers were still going to be there.
“I don’t go with the boys so I don’t think they will give me attention.”
“This could be true but it has been a while since they have been outside. These people are thirsty and want everything they can get even if it means a picture of you with a made up story.”
“You are supposed to be calming me down.”
“I’m also supposed to teach you our ways but you keep doing you. Please try to walk by my side and I will protect you.”
“That really helped Hyun Shik. Thank you for keeping an eye on me.” You rested your head on his shoulder and your mind was brought back to your strange conversation with Jungkook yesterday. Maybe you should try to keep your distance from Hyun Shik as Jungkook thought there was something blossoming between the two of you. Which there really wasn’t. The only thing blossoming was the not in your stomach. You had signed your contract with Big Hit and there was no going back for the next year. You had to get used to these kind of strict rules and strange interactions. It almost felt like you were an animal locked in a cage for everyone to admire from afar.
“Ok, let’s go. The boys have passed so this is a perfect moment to sneak in before anyone really notices us.” He got out of the car and almost grabbed your arm so you would go faster. His long legs were power walking toward the entrance of the airport and it felt like your first day when you had to run to keep up with him. This time it was different as he had your arm in his hand almost dragging you forward which resulted in you almost falling a couple of times.
You rounded the corner and Hyun Shik gave your tickets to the stewardess waiting for us. Her cheeks were still blushing and you had a feeling one of the boys did this on purpose. They know they’re good-looking and sometimes they like to play. Finally reaching your destination, the very fancy waiting area where everyone was already gathered, you tried to loosen the grip on your arm. You and Hyun Shik were the last to arrive so naturally all eyes landed on the two of you.
“You can let go of my arm now. Mission complete. You have brought me to our final destination.” He quickly let go of your arm. Your eyes scanned the crowd and immediately found the eyes of the young Jungkook. His hair was wild and he was drowning in his oversized clothing, but he still looked cute, like boyfriend material. STOP that thinking though. You politely smiled and awkwardly sat down next to some people you still hadn’t properly met.
“Hi! Can I sit with you?” It didn’t take him more than a minute to find the courage to go and talk to you. Everyone noticed the easiness of Jungkook walking over to you. He felt comfortable with you and he didn’t mind the curious looks from his bandmates. They weren’t used of him being so close with a girl so soon.
“Oh Jungkook! Yes, please sit down.” You greeted him with a shy smile. He immediately sat down next to you and went searching through his backpack for something.
“You probably didn’t have had any breakfast yet. I noticed there wasn’t a lot of breakfast food at your place yesterday. Please take this.” He offered you a breakfast bar with blueberry flavor. You stomach started making its characteristic whale noises and Jungkook started to laugh.
“Oh, yes. My stomach just said thank you in his language.” You both started laughing and you felt like everyone had his eyes on the both of you. Watching with inquiring eyes and a look on their face you didn’t understand. You opened the package and started to shove the food in your mouth. Jungkook opened another bar and started to eat too.
You both sat in a comfortable silence chewing on the food Jungkook had brought with him for the two of you. It made you feel like you were the chosen one. You were the one he chose to help and take care of. You tried to steal a glance of him eating but he was already staring at you and in this morning hour and your ‘i just got out of bed look’ you didn’t feel confident enough to lock your eyes with his.
“I brought some-“ you started.
“Do you wanna-“ he started and you both laughed due to the awkwardness.
“Please go on.” You motioned for him to go first.
“No please you were first. What did you want to say?” His smile was enough encouragement for you to go first. You also didn’t want to have this awkward conversation for another five minutes of you two not wanting to start. Something in you said he wasn’t going to give up easily. In the short time you had known him, you noticed he definitely liked to win even if winning meant for you to start talking first.
“I just wanted to say I brought some English books with me for us to study. I also looked up some apps that could help you because you can not always carry a book with you.” You said. You also took out a paper out of your pocket and gave it to him. He carefully looked at your handwriting.
“When did you do this?” He asked you quietly.
“Oh last night after you left. I couldn’t sleep so I started to create a little English plan for you. I’m experienced in studying languages you know, I love doing it and I love helping other people.” You confessed. You made it seem like it only took half an hour but if you were being honest, you had spend a couple of hours trying to figure out a fitting schedule for someone as busy as him. You did have their schedule so you knew the days he had some more free time for extra activities.
“You did this for me?” He looked so surprised and the only thing going through your head was how cute he looked. He looked as happy as a kid in a candy store.
“You said you wanted to help Namjoon so I wanted to help you.” He was still carefully looking at the little schedule you had made. Maybe you should have used another color than pink but the color is just so happy and motivating you hoped it would stimulate him. “What did you want to say by the way?” You asked him curiously.
“I wanted to ask you if you would sit next to me on the plane so we could set up an English plan. But you already beat me to it, it seems.” He carefully studied your features while inviting you to sit next to him.
“I would love to sit next to you Jungkook. I only made the plan based of your band schedule, maybe there are some things you want to change due to personal reasons.” You were both smiling at each other you hand’t noticed everyone was already boarding the plane.
“Will you two also board the plane, please? We need Jungkook as he is a member of BTS and we definitely need Y/N when we land in the US.” Hyun Shik interrupted whatever what was happening between you and Jungkook. You both grabbed your things and walked toward the plane. The stewardess at the entrance of the plane happily greeted the both of you and offered you both a menu. She also walked us over to the only two remaining seats.
“You can sit by the window.” He said immediately taking the other side close to the aisle.
“Thank you!” Was the only thing you muttered before you went to your seat. This wasn’t a normal plane by the way. It was a large plane with only a VIP section or so it seemed. Everyone got a large chair with enough leg space for a giraffe. The chair could also be transformed into a bed and there were even sliding panels to have some privacy, if needed.
Your eyes scanned every corner of the plane and you couldn’t help your mouth from falling open. There were several buttons at the side of your chair for every possible assistance you needed. TV, movie channel, sleeping button, …
“The first time we boarded a plane like this we couldn’t believe our eyes. We didn’t dare to touch anything and the first few times I didn’t even dare to push back my chair to sit more comfortable.” He confessed after he let you acclimatize for a while.
“I feel like I am going to be the opposite. I want to push every button to see what happens. Maybe there is one that catapults me out of my seat like in a James Bond car or something.” You laughed at him with the biggest smile on your face.
“That seems like a very unnecessary button.” He couldn’t help but laugh along with you and it was the most beautiful sound you had ever heard. He was so comfortable around you he didn’t care if his laugh was a bit too loud. The stewardess interrupted with telling us to buckle up and look at the safety instructions. You both glanced over to each other from time to time while the staff of the plane tried its best to teach you the basic safety rules.
The flight was really comfortable and the staff made you feel like you were a foreign princess. They brought you fresh tea when they noticed your cup was empty. They also handed you an extra blanket after one to them noticed you were getting cold. Jungkook and you had been making a new English schedule for him to follow. In a couple of months he would be able to help Namjoon during interviews. If he sticked with the plan of course.
Somewhere along the flight you had fallen asleep and were carefully woken up by a sleepy Jungkook. You noticed he was only wearing his T-shirt which was enough for you to wake up immediately.
“I’m sorry to wake you Y/N but apparently we have already landed. I also slept through it all.” He whispered and his tiny sleepy eyes he could barely keep open. You sat back up and tried to find all your belongings. That was when you noticed a grey sweater wrapped over your shoulders. It smelled great and was incredibly warm and you didn’t want it to leave you.
“Thank you for keeping me warm.” You said while handing back Jungkook his sweater.
“You can keep it you know.” He tried to say but you quickly interrupted him.
“I think it will better if you wear it out. If one person is smart enough to connect the dots you will never hear the end of it.” You explained while trying to give him back his sweater. He smiled sadly but still took his sweater and put it back on.
Leaving the airport was kind of the same here in New York as entering the airport in Seoul. First the boys went through the first layer of photographers and reporters. They posed with tiny eyes and puffy faces. You stayed behind with Hyun Shik and only when BTS drove off in big black cars he took your arm again and dragged you to the one remaining car.
“What is going on with you and Jungkook.” Hyun Shik immediately asked you while closing the door of the car.
“What do you mean?” You asked him innocently but apparently he could look through your act.
“Please don’t start to like any of the members. This can only lead to heartbreak and you getting fired.”
“I don’t like Jungkook in a romantic way. I like him in a friendly way, the way I like you too Hyun Shik.” You tried to explain to him. The look he gave you made you believe he believed you. Hell, you even started to believe yourself.
“I’ve got to admit, it is nice seeing Jungkook so comfortable around someone new. I was just worried, that’s all.” He tried to explain himself and his feelings and it was really adorable.
“Thank you for worrying about me and taking care of me when I can’t seem to take care of myself. I’m really grateful for getting this job and also for you being my rock through this new experience.” You smiled politely back at him and the seemed to relax. The car ride was spend going through the schedule and where you most definitely needed to be. The styling people also took some clothes with them for you to wear to more formal events so you wouldn’t stand out to much.
“Clothes for me?” You asked in disbelief. It was like a dream come through. “That is so cool.”

Multiverse Cosm (Messaged Explanation Comp)
i haven’t decided on names yet so i’ll just use the names of the lhp paras they were based off basically there are multiple universes each with different possibilities but they all stem from the Original which is like the og plane of existence except nothing really happens in the og it’s like the og has all the basic information and then all the multiverses take that basic info and spin it into something like the og has all the basic character info, and then all the multiverses are fanfictions/story ideas that use it canon or not the og has the most basic info that is consistent throughout but nothing really happens in it or if something does we don’t understand it if you ever try to visit the og it’s very disorienting it’s like you don’t feel anything or know anything nothing happens except that you’re existing you don’t even know how, if you even have a physical form you just know that you exist but basically something happens and the Glass Collage Effect commences
no official names yet but basically shiro, hyunseung and hanbin do… something that causes the multiverse to overlap and conjoin over the Original it’s like when you have a bunch of random glass shards and they’re all so different but you try to make a collage of them but it doesn’t really work out bc you have all these random colors and shapes and they don’t fit or if they do it’s not very neatly and there’s cracks everywhere and some holes you need to fill with an excessive amount of glue and it might look kind of pretty if you’re optimistic enough but for the most part it’s very obviously not working out
that’s what happens with multiverses the multiverses are like the glass pieces that make the collage and the Original is the platform on which they were built and all those cracks and stuff where the glass meet in the multiverses, they are known as splits so now all the different variations of people are either conjoined multi-identities or are separate existences on different glass shards
our main focus: shiro, hyunseung, and hanbin’s characters and wooji, jin sun, xiao yi and abraham’s characters for background xiao yi is like shiro’s unofficial son unofficial for no other reason than shiro isn’t 18 yet but once her birthday comes around she intends to be his legal guardian and jinsun and wooji are stray foster kids who hyunseung saved from shitty lives and got adopted by hyunseung’s uncle jinho and abraham is this very quiet but sweet babie boy who’s friends with the others and has a nice little bond with hanbin
so there are androids, digitized consciences, rescue missions, revivals basically a big part of this is that we don’t understand a lot about the multiverse and how it works and that’s ok a large portion of this story is the characters trying to figure things out and make it work but ultimately no one can truly comprehend it all
so hyunseung, shiro and hanbin from one of the multis finds a way to hop through different multis and eventually finds a way to get onto the Original but it’s because of that, that everything goes to shit nothing from the multis are meant to be in the Original the lack of substance on the Original acts as a repellent of sorts to all the multis like opposite ends of a magnet the multis are distanced enough that they don’t collide into each other but sometimes an attraction occurs, and that’s how some people wind up experiencing moments on an alternate universe that’s where all those stories come from
idk how to explain what it feels like to exist in the Original to be a basis it’s not something that can be put into words i can barely understand it myself it’s like you don’t really have any form you exist but not really it’s really weird it’s something you feel except you can’t actually feel anything the Original just is yeah it’s a weird oxymoron thing it makes sense in my head just not in words
now the Glass Collage Effect it doesn’t erase the Original bc then as far as we know the multis would like cease to exist or something no one really knows but it’s like you know how you have a sheet of paper on which you glue all your collage pieces? it’s like the Original is a board on which all the glass shards (multis) were glued onto and remember how there are gaps that are overfilled with glue?
well the multis (as in the people) can sort of jump? through the verses the edges of the verses that connect to one another are called splits you can leap(?) through a split but certain splits lead to those holes and if you leap there you get thrown directly into the Original
the people multis are basically everyone inhabiting the multiverses so like us there are variations of us in all the different verses and now bc of this whole overlap thing you can leap through splits to access other verses but those holes that throw you into the Original the Original literally cannot hold you you’ll be viciously tossed around and feel the most extreme and foreign and weirdest sensations and then get thrown up into the nearest verse every case of this ends up with severely mutilated bodies like the Original is a stomach that can’t digest or hold you so you become vomited
but back to multis as in the people shiro, hyunseung and hanbin had temporarily transported into the Original and this was before the Glass Collage Effect so they didn’t get thrown up it was more like you know how you put something in your mouth but it doesn’t even get down your throat bc you reject it before it does and just spit it out whole that’s how it was for them except when they got spit out the Effect had taken place their split second presence in the Original caused it
now i’m going to explain something about the Original it’s the most basic of them all and has the basis for all the multiverses but nothing quite exists, but still exists there are some consistencies in all the multiverses vastly different, but you can still draw some kind of similarity they are all children of the same Original after all but these consistencies are bc of something in the Original called connections connections are relations between basis identities it’s like the Original has the most basic code, some of which is relevant to each other and then the multiverses are all that can be made from building and developing off of that
so bc of that when shiro, hyun and hanbin get spit back out everyone who’s basis identity had a connection with theirs all their forms across the verses become merged but bc of all the imbalance and shit memories are sort of flying in there you have vague recollections at best but for shiro, hyun and hanbin it was different as they were the ones who actually entered the Original all their identities are merged but not like anyone else’s you know how they say cats have 9 lives they lose one, there’s a second it’s like that, but each multiverse identity would be a “life”
it’s like a game and when they lose a level, they lose a life and when they restart the level, it’s with another life but the lives in question are the multi identities and this is where the androids come in the 3 find a way to exist within a literal split so not like on the planes themselves but the split so you can’t actually access it they create a hideout of sorts i guess and they make it so that their conscience is kind of like extracted from their bodies it’s like their physical bodies are within this hideout thing contained and then their consciences are physically separated though still connected non-physically and everytime they start a new life/ use a new multi identity the identity doesn’t take a physical form but rather becomes transformed into a form of energy that powers an android and the conscience of that android and the conscience of the original human is connected via that separated ball of conscience whatever tf it is
now here’s the thing this glass collage it’s being held together rn but it’s so delicate and unstable and weak that it’ll just break and then nothing will be restored bc it’ll be swallowed and vomited by the Original but then everything within the Original will essentially have no purpose (a lot of the plot stuff is kind of metaphorically about breaking away and defining yourself and like actually becoming yourself instead of becoming what’s written in stone and stuff like that)
so yeah all the androids powered by multi identities work together and leap through multiverses to figure out how to prevent the glass collage from imploding they don’t know what to do or how to do it or anything really but they work it out by failing and replaying “levels” until they win
now meanwhile the merged multi identities of wooji, jin sun, xiao yi and abraham are searching for those 3 trying to find them which involves a lot of redefining and learning themselves they run into “shiro”, “hyunseung” and “hanbin” a couple times not knowing those are actually various android forms and stuff
but basically they all eventually figure out that although the Original exists and the basis identities exist the basis identities aren’t fated destinies that define them so much as the destinies they’ve defined for themselves bc remember, time is technically a place so although at the beginning of the journey they weren’t really them
they eventually do become who they are now but instead of thinking of it as a time a vs time b thing in which case the application of the Original wouldn’t really work think of it as time is a cross-multiversal place and different times are different locations across time so it’s more of a place a vs place b thing in which case the characters had already formed their identities and shaped themselves but in a different location
idk if i’m explaining this coherently or not sksksk

Chinese tea culture and the influence
The Chinese people, in their drinking of tea, place much significance on the act of “savoring.” “Savoring tea” is not only a way to discern good tea from mediocre tea, but also how people take delight in their reverie and in tea-drinking itself. Snatching a bit of leisure from a busy schedule, making a kettle of strong tea, securing a serene space, and serving and drinking tea by yourself can help banish fatigue and frustration, improve your thinking ability and inspire you with enthusiasm. You may also imbibe it slowly in small sips to appreciate the subtle allure of tea-drinking until your spirits soar up and up into a sublime aesthetic realm. Buildings, gardens, ornaments and tea sets are the elements that form the ambiance for savoring tea. A tranquil, refreshing, comfortable and neat locale is certainly desirable for drinking tea. Chinese gardens are well known in the world and beautiful Chinese landscapes are too numerous to count. Teahouses tucked away in gardens and nestled beside the natural beauty of mountains and rivers are enchanting places of repose for people to rest and recreate themselves.
China is a country with a time-honored civilization and a land of ceremony and decorum. Whenever guests visit, it is necessary to make and serve tea to them. Before serving tea, you may ask them for their preferences as to what kind of tea they fancy and serve them the tea in the most appropriate teacups. In the course of serving tea, the host should take careful note of how much water is remaining in the cups and in the kettle. Usually, if the tea is made in a teacup, boiling water should be added after half of the cup has been consumed; and thus the cup is kept filled so that the tea retains the same bouquet and remains pleasantly warm throughout the entire course of tea-drinking. Snacks, sweets and other dishes may be served at tea time to compliment the fragrance of the tea and to allay one’s hunger.
The formation and development of Chinese tea culture
China is the hometown of tea, is the world’s first discovery of tea, tea and the use of tea cultivation countries. The origin of tea at least the main Qi Wannian history. Tea was found and the use of human, about Siwuqiannian history.
In accordance with “The Book of Songs” and other relevant documentation, in the pre-history, “Tu” refers to all types of wild plants bitterness of food raw materials. Fresh medical unity in the history of the times, the Zhike tea vegetable oil, the Qing God, Xiaoshi, in addition to Zhang, the medical function is to facilitate wait until it is not difficult for people found. However, the general medical practices for the development of an exclusive drink often, there must also be some special factors, namely, real-life people in a particular need. Bashu region, to the multiple for Jiyi “Zhang smoke” land. “Barbarian people living with tea, the lack of will.” (Ai Qing weeks of “Zhu Guo Travels” Volume II) is often vulgar Bashu people eating spicy side, thousands of habit, still. It is this natural geographical conditions and the resulting decision of the people’s dietary practices, making Bashu people first “JIANCHALING” Apart from taking to Zhang Qi, antipyretic drugs. Jiufu-Xi, a medicinal purpose gradually Subduction, tea has become a daily drink was. Qin-Ba-Shu is likely to see this as a daily drink tea customs.
Tea from the medicinal drink into a regular habit, the strict sense of “tea” would then have its typical signs that “tea” (cha) the emergence of sound. Guo Pu Note “Yi-release”, “Jia”: “small trees such as gardenia, Dong-Sheng Ye, can be boiled for soup to drink. As early as today called for the mining, tea, who was admitted late Ming, a Chuan, Shuren of the TU. “Clearly, the Han,” Tu “has been specifically beverage word” tea “in pronunciation,” tea “from” Tu “isolated, and embarked on the” independence “road of development. But “tea” the emergence of the word is accompanied by the development of the tea things and commercial activities have become increasingly frequent, until later in the Tang Dynasty, is also in line with the new symbol of a people’s social life after such a text change in the law.
China will start from the tea, There are different theories about, the Western Han Dynasty, tea drinking has been a matter of the official literature, drinking tea when the starting time earlier than some. Tea appears to cultural characteristics, in the Han, Wei and Jin Dynasty, Northern and Southern Dynasties period.
Tea Culture Broadly speaking, the tea at the natural sciences and humanities tea in terms of both human society is in the process of the historical practice of creating and tea-related material and spiritual wealth combined. In a narrow sense, focusing on the human sciences tea, tea mainly refers to the spiritual and social functions. As the science of tea has become an independent system, which now often say the tea culture emphasis on the humanities.
The influence of tea culture on Chinese civilization
1、the three countries before the tea culture of the Enlightenment
Many of the books found that the tea set for 2737-2697 BC, its history can be pushed to Sanhuangwudi. Eastern Han Hua, “The Fresh”: “Kucha for food, meaning benefits” of the medical records of the value of tea. Western Han Dynasty tea to the country of origin named “Tu-Ling”, that is, Hunan Chaling. To San Guowei generation “-Blair” has the earliest documented the method of tea cakes and drinking: Story of the Pakistani Inter-for cake, a pie-old man leaves to a paste of rice. Tea in the form of material and infiltration to other human sciences and the formation of tea culture.
2、Jin Dynasty, the seeds of the Northern and Southern Dynasties tea culture
With the rise of the literati tea, the tea poetry Gough increasingly available, tea has been out as a general form of eating into the cultural circles, will play the spirit of social role. Jin Dynasty, Northern and Southern Dynasties period, Menfa system has been formed, not only the emperor, nobility amassed a wave of officials and scholars generally proud boast, multi-effect Plaster Liang Hou Wei. In this case, some people of insight to “Yang Lian.”
Thus, there is satisfied that the land, Huanwen to tea and wine at all. South Qishizuwu emperor is a relatively enlightened Emperor, he did not Hei Yu Yan, under Yi Zhao before his death, he said after the funeral to be thrifty as possible, not to Sansheng for offerings, only put more Ganfan, fruit cake and Chafan can. And to “the world Guijian, with such a system.” Satisfied that the land, Huanwen, Emperor Wu Qi, where tea is not only refreshing to quench their thirst, it began work in a community, into a tea hospitality, to worship and that a Kind of spirit and sentiment of the means. Tea has not entirely the use of its natural value used by the people but entered the spirit of the area.
Wei, Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties period, the world disorder, all kinds of ideological and cultural exchanges collision, supernaturalism very popular. Metaphysics is the period of the Wei, Jin, a philosophical idea, mainly糅合Confucian thinking of the Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi-yi. Xuan Xuejia most of the so-called Fellows, the first to the door, the face, the instrument only, Hyun-loving nothingness from the light. Eastern Jin Dynasty, furans North Korea, the affluent Kangnam Scholars to be temporary to meet, hang around all day in Qingshanxiushui between the light winds to continue to develop, resulting in many light homes. Initially, there are more than idle talk Jiutu home, and later, talk of the wind gradually developed to the general literate.
Xuanxue Jia-speech, also general-talk rhetoric. Liquor make people excited, but drinking more would be stricken manner, nonsense, failed Yaguan. The tea-drinking and may be Jingri always clear, it is clear thinking, calm attitude. Moreover, the general terms of the literati, the whole day dealing with Jiurou, of the economy, will not allow. Days, many Xuan Xuejia, talk to wine home from the village. In them, where tea has been treated as a mental phenomenon.
With Buddhism, Taoism up, and have tea and Buddhism, Taoism linked. In Taoism, the tea is to help Lian “inner alchemy” or-down muddy, light-weight-for-bones, Xiu Changshengbulao a good way to the body in Buddhism, the tea is a brooding meditation required of Of the show. Although this has not yet formed a complete religious tea ceremony and the ideological principles set out tea, tea has been divorced from the diet as a form of state, has significant social, cultural functions, the Chinese tea culture clues.
3、the formation of the Tang Dynasty tea culture
780, Lu Yu, “the tea,” tea culture of the Tang Dynasty is a landmark. Tea has summed up its natural and human sciences double content of the tea arts, Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism into the three tea, the pioneering spirit of the Chinese tea ceremony. After tea and a large number of books, poems tea, “tea in”, “JIANCHALING water”, “Cai Cha”, “16 soups.” Tang tea culture and the formation of the Zen on the rise, the benefits of tea is refreshing thought, spermatogenic Zhike function, the temple advocates tea, tea trees planted around the temple, the development of the tea ceremony, a tea appear, the first election of tea, The matter was tea activities. China’s Tang Dynasty in the form of tea ceremony at the palace tea, the tea ceremony of the temple, the literati tea ceremony.
4、 the prosperity of the Song Dynasty tea culture
Song tea has been a great development, and promote the development of the tea culture, the literati in a professional Tea Associations, an official of the “social soup”, a Buddhist, “1,000 clubs.” Song Taizu Zhao Kuangyin tea is an of disabilities, in court and authorities in the establishment of tea things, the court has been using tea grades. Tea-ceremony system has become, thanks to the win over Secretary of tea has become the emperor, with relatives an important means, but also give foreign envoys. As for the lower social and vitality of tea culture is more lively, some of movement, the neighbourhood to “Xiancha” You Ke, to respect the “gold ingot tea”, when engaged to “tea”, the time of the marriage to “the tea”, when roommate “A tea.” Cha Doo civil wind has brought Preparing cooking point of a series of changes.
Since the Yuan Dynasty, the tea culture has entered a period of twists and turns. Song expansion of the tea culture and the social dimension of cultural forms, tea things are booming, but the tea to complicated, trivial, luxury, lost the Tang Dynasty tea culture profound ideological connotation, too delicate tea flooded the spirit of the tea culture, lost Its noble profound nature. In court, nobles, scholars there, drinking tea became a “drink at the child” and “drinking style,” and “Play tea.”
5、 that the universal culture of Qing-Cha
At this point there has been steaming green, Chaoqing, Hong Qing, and other tea, tea drinking has been changed to “minority bubble”, many of the Ming Dynasty scholar Aston handed down the left for, such as snow star “Pengcha picture,” ” Tea map “, Wen Zhengming’s” Huishan tea party “,” Lu Yu Pengcha plans, “Tea plans. ” The increase in tea, tea art is different, the style of Tea Ware, texture, pattern Qianzibaitai. To have tea as the carrier, to promote comprehensive economic and trade development.
Chinese tea culture and tea culture in Europe and America or Japan, a great difference. Chinese tea culture has a long history, profound, not only contains the material and cultural level, also contains a deep spiritual level. Tea by Lu Yu of the Tang Dynasty in the history of Chinese tea culture and sounded the horn. Since then, the spirit of tea permeates the court and society, into the Chinese poetry, painting, calligraphy, religion, medicine. For thousands of years, China has not only accumulated a great deal about tea cultivation, production of material culture but also accumulated rich spirit of the tea culture, which is unique to China’s tea culture, a cultural study area.

HOW, AND WHY, DOES ASOS PRIORITISE THE AESTHETICS OF MINIMALISM AND FUNCTIONALITY IN ITS DESIGN?
Minimalism is an important aspect of design, due to its ability to effectively communicate ideas and information with versatility. It allows the creator to show the optimal quantity of its content without compromising aesthetic value, and does so by using typography, colour palettes, and effective composition to display the desired imagery. ASOS is an excellent example of a website prioritising minimalism and functionality in its design, for multiple reasons; including the large amount of negative space on each screen of the site, the neat lines of images, clear titles, and all the separate strains of visuals composed together to fit into a compact design.
The primary example of ASOS’ prioritisation of minimalism and functionality is its heavy use of negative space; each page is kept very clear, giving all text high readability, which, “among the many elements that help to improve readability, negative space is crucial in communicating messages” (1). This both catches the user’s eye; making them likely to read over what the site is offering, and then allowing them to easily navigate around the site to whatever they want to look at. The site’s use of negative space also emphasises the use of bold title type, again making it far more likely for the user to take notice of the respective sale, or new range of products, due to its enhanced readability. Images are also much more pronounced due to the fact it is presented in negative space, in neat rows, which has the same effect on the user’s eyes – it is easy to distinguish between all the images as there is no colour behind or around them, which would cause them to be almost camouflaged, and certainly more difficult for the human eye to focus on. The contrast between the negative space and the photographs succeeds in making all uses of colour extremely vivid and immediately noticeable (2), as well as acting as a multi-purpose decorative layout for the site.
A secondary example of how ASOS applies the characteristics of minimalism for the benefit of usability of its website is within the presentation of its menus. Each one is laid out in columns, in relation to each section of the site, with the Women’s menu sorted first into the first 7 options (the most popular sections of the site, as well as sale events, for prime placement), and then alphabetically by product type – eg, Accessories, Bags & Purses, Beauty – to maximise functionality for the user. The next column separates into ‘Edits’, which present the website’s ‘best’ products, in respect to a number of lifestyle situations (Work, Occasion, Holiday, Festival, etc), and then also a choice of brands represented on the site. The last column features the Marketplace section of the site, and includes an introduction into that branch of the site, as well as suggestions to help the user navigate around it, as this section of the site is the least popular, and so it is more likely for users to ‘explore’ it if given guidance. All of this is presented in black type, over negative space, which makes it extremely legible, thus easier to find what you need on the site, and more likely that you will purchase it.
The only aspect of this website which does not conform to minimalist characteristics is the imagery; all photography used is vivid and composed largely of colour. An example of this use of colour is shown in the image above (3), and demonstrates an optimal use of colour palettes, shade variation, and a vivid spectrum of colour. This contrasts the website’s excessive use of negative space and monotone style in way which gives the overall impression of style and modern design, therefore subconsciously convincing the user that this impression matches the content of the site (and so also its products). This is obviously an extremely important aspect of the site’s design, and ties into the ideas of design specialists, NE14Design, who have said, “Colour is often referred to as the 'silent salesperson'; it has to immediately attract the viewers eye, convey the message of what the product or service is about, and ultimately make the sale,”(4) and because ASOS is ultimately a business, this is most likely why they have presented their content in such a way.
The final aspect of ASOS’ site which prioritises minimalism and functionality is the display of its products. This is shown in two parts of the site; in each section of clothing/produce, and on each individual product page. For example, in the image to the left (5), the product is represented in four different perspectives; each on a white background, so as to match the website’s extensive use of negative space. This gives no distraction to the product, and enhances the colours used in its respective design; making it more appealing to the user. The same composition is used in the layout of the products page, only without the option of four images to choose from (6).
To conclude, ASOS prioritises minimalism and functionality in its website to a high extent, through an extensive use of negative space and monotone, paired with effective colour palettes, and composition which maximises usability of the site. This is extremely important when taken into context; the site is a business, which depends on the sale of its products. Therefore, the design of the site is what will subconsciously convince the user to enjoy using it, and so be more likely to return and buy from them again. Referring back to NE14Design, who said that, “the human reaction to colour is mostly subliminal and the viewer is generally unaware of its persuasive effects. As an example of this, a consumer walking down the supermarket aisle, their eyes rest on a product for less than one tenth of a second, in that time they must be informed of the contents. Colour and colour combinations are the biggest indicators, with the package shape, image and text, being less important.”(7) This reinforces the general concept of this piece of work in the way that it shows that, because users rely on the overall look of the site, and usually only get a quick look at each page, it needs to be user friendly, and more importantly, legible. Thus, the most effective method of achieving this is through minimalism, which ASOS has done.

Bad Habit | Zen/Hyun Ryu x Reader
RATING: Teen | GENRE: Fluff | WORD COUNT: 824 SUMMARY: Zen tries to help you stop your habit of picking your lips
"Ah..."
Upon hearing your lightly surprised voice, Zen looked up from the script he was reading, only to be greeted by the sight of you running your tongue across your lips over and over again, trying to stop the small bleeding from the broken skin. Your face was scrunched up, disliking the taste of iron on your tongue as the bleeding continued.
You heard a small sigh from the young man as he placed his script down on the seat he was previously sitting in before making his way over to you. He knelt down to your level, and his hands were careful as he cupped your cheek, guiding your face so that he could get a better look.
"Babe, I told you that you needed to get rid of this habit," the young man gently chided you, his eyebrows furrowed together as he recalled all those times he warned you about the negative effects picking at your lips have. "It's not good for you."
"I know," you whined in defeat. "It's just..."
You trailed off to resume licking at your injured lip, the wetness of the blood still present. A soft and almost childish whimper slipped past you, and Zen smiled sympathetically. Stroking your cheeks with his thumbs, he tilted his head to the side.
"Here, let me help," the actor insisted, and for a moment, you were confused as to what it was he planned to do.
Zen leaned closer to you, and realization finally dawned. You retracted your tongue back inside your mouth just as Zen's lips pressed against yours, both of your eyelids closing shut at the same time. The actor hummed against you, his tongue flicking at your lip where the skin broke, lapping up the blood. He ignored the tangy, iron taste, instead focusing on the other sensations of the kiss.
You were certain that your lip finally stopped bleeding, and you were about to pull away to thank the actor, but he kept his grip on your cheeks firm, effectively keeping you in place. Your eyes widened with surprise, gasping into the kiss. Sensing your gaze on him, Zen's own eyelids fluttered open without once breaking away, and he stared back at you, a silent question lingering behind his eyes.
You answered by allowing your eyes to fall shut once more and parted your lips, sighing against the young man when his tongue snaked its way inside your mouth. Your tongue met his, swirling the wet muscles around each other in an attempt to distract yourself from the metallic taste that still lingered
The kiss steadily grew deep and heavy, both you and Zen pushing against each other and trying to pull the other closer in sync. You conceded and allowed your tongue to rest as the actor had his way inside your wet cavern. He stroked and flicked everything he could possibly reach, shivers coursing through his body at the soft and needy moan that tumbled out of you.
Your fingers curled around the fabric of the actor's sleeve, your mind starting to grow dizzy and faint. Realizing this, Zen pulled away to let you breathe and catch yourself. The young man on the other hand hardly seemed out of breath; only his cheeks were dusted a slight pink.
Smiling at you, Zen traced his fingertips along the shape of your now moist lips. Seemingly satisfied with his work, the young man nodded.
"The next time I see you picking at your lips, you can be certain I'll be kissing you like that again," Zen decided.
"And what if I want to be kissed like that?" You asked with a teasing shrug of your shoulders, a coy smile dancing on your features. "Seems counterintuitive, don't you think?"
The young man chuckled, resting his forehead against yours. "Every time you don't pick your lips, I'll reward you with something even better than a kiss..."
"And what would that be?" You smirked, opting to have some fun and play dumb.
"That depends on you," Zen answered, his fingers trailing along the length of your arms in slow and purposeful motions. "What do you consider better than a kiss?"
Biting at your lower lip to contain yourself, you leaned forward to whisper in the actor's ear with an answer he wasn't quite expecting. "Free food."
You leaned back to watch Zen's reaction. You could see on his features the process it took him to register your response. Scrunched eyebrows in confusion, thinking that perhaps he heard wrong before slowly melting to one of realization and then ending with an amused grin, loud laughter rumbling out of him. The actor clutched at his stomach, trying to control the volume of his voice.
Breathing out a sigh of relief after having finally calmed down, Zen placed his hand on top of your head and stroked your hair. "If that's what you want, princess, to get you out of that bad habit."

Limited Time Only (Ch. 1) | Zen/Hyun Ryu x Reader
RATING: Teen | GENRE: Drama/Hurt/Comfort/Fluff/Angst SUMMARY: Cheritz added new content to the game just as you were about to go to sleep. You go to download it, but... NOTE: Reader is not MC. If you want a hint to decipher the glitched text, refer to this)
You stare blankly at the phone on your lap, a wistful sigh leaving you as you wonder about what to do next. You've cleared most of the game already, having at least finished all the Good Ends, After Ends, and Secret Ends. But now what? You suppose you could play the game all over again, but you've already done that at least six times already. You were starting to get a bit tired of the repeated chats at odd hours, but at the same time, you didn't want it to end.
You lie flat on your back, holding your phone above you as you scroll through Zen's photo album. In all honesty, you can't help but blame Cheritz for making such a perfectly imperfect character and raising your standards to ridiculous heights. Another heavy sigh slips past you, going to close the game and get some much-needed sleep when a notification box pops up on the screen.
"NEW CONTENT HAS BEEN ADDED"
Your eyes light up instantly. You don't remember there being an announcement by Cheritz on any of their social media about any updates, but you don't really pay it any mind, only excited to play some new content. You go to click on the download button, but instead of the usual screen, you're brought to what looks like a form to fill out.
"PLEASE ENTER YOUR AGE"
Curious, you do as the screen prompts you to before the screen changes again. The hourglass icon pops up, and beside it is a number which you note with vague amusement is the same number as your age. The number then goes through a scrolling animation before stopping at a completely new number now, much higher than before. New text appears on the screen, and it seems to be explaining the purpose of the number.
"THIS IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF HOURGLASSES YOU CAN CONSUME. HOW MANY HOURGLASSES WILL YOU LIKE TO CONSUME TO DOWNLOAD THE NEW CONTENT? (NOTE: THE MORE HOURGLASSES YOU CONSUME, THE MORE ADDITIONAL CONTENT THERE WILL BE)"
Well, this was interesting. This is the first time Cheritz was letting the players choose how many hourglasses to use. Though you did find it a nice change of pace, it also felt a bit strange. Well, since you had no idea what was included in the additional content and wanting to save as many hourglasses as possible for other possible additional downloads in the future, you decided to input the number ten for now. You were about to confirm when the screen glitched, and new text appeared.
"$¥!'% $¥ £%!!"
You tapped repeatedly on the screen of your device, trying to will the message away. As much as you loved Cheritz's game, they did still have quite a few bugs to fix up, especially whenever new content was added.
"£%'# @ %=@₩!! _¥€ ×£)) $£÷!!"
The screen then turned black, and for a second, you thought that the app crashed on you, but then it went back to normal, the confirmation screen still there. Not thinking much of the weird bugs, you confirm your choice and press the download button.
"UPLOADING CONTENT..."
You're confused as to why it says "uploading" rather than "downloading", but you suddenly start to feel very sleepy. You try to keep your eyes open, wanting to see just what this new content was, but the closer it reached 100%, the heavier your eyelids started to feel. Unfortunately, you end up falling asleep the moment the download was completed.
You feel somebody or something poking insistently at your cheek, and you scrunch your face, still barely on the cusp of consciousness and sleep, and right now, you wanted to continue sleeping. You bury yourself underneath the covers, and you vaguely hear a familiar-sounding voice chuckle in your ear. You wave it off as you dreaming since you were living alone and there was no way somebody could be in your room, but then you feel warm lips press upon your cheek, and your eyes snap open.
Your vision catches a flash of white as you scramble out of your bed, falling onto the floor with a resounding thud, but you ignore the pain and quickly grab hold of the nearest blunt object to use as a weapon. Your heart hammers against your chest as you prepare to either fight or flee, but you freeze the moment red eyes meet yours. Red eyes, white and long hair, perfect features...
"Zen?" You ask yourself, wondering if you were still dreaming, and you let your guard down.
"Good morning, princess," the man before you speaks in what you know by now to be Korean, and you can see text hovering in the air as he speaks, acting as subtitles. You try to reach out and touch the hovering words, but they have no physical form. You bring your attention to the male in front of you and wonder if he was actually tangible himself. Your arm tentatively reaches out, hesitant, and the young man tilts his head in confusion before lifting his own hand and pressing his palm against yours. He was warm, and you immediately and fearfully retract your hand which causes the young man's expression to become pained.
"What the fuck...?" Your confusion makes itself obvious in the words that leave your lips, and your eyebrows stitch together. Just then, you hear a familiar chime ringing in your head before words appear in front of you again.
"UPLOAD SUCCESSFUL"
You don't understand a single thing that's going on right now, and you go to rub your eyes to make sure you weren't just seeing things when something catches your attention. You bring your gaze down to look at the inner wrist of your right hand. On it was the hourglass icon etched in ink with the number ten beside it.
What was going on? Why was Zen—or maybe it was just a man who looked like Zen—in your room? What did those words that appeared mean? What purpose does the hourglass marking and number on your wrist have?
The questions are absolutely endless, and they circle on and on in your mind that it makes you dizzy. You feel lightheaded and faint, the world around you spinning as you pass out and go crashing towards the floor.
Zen was quick to react, however. He quickly caught your form before you could make impact with the floor. The actor holds you close, stroking your head as a storm of emotions rage behind his eyes. He softly kisses you on the crown of your head, apologizing. The young man looks down at his own wrist, a small golden diamond-shaped chain around it which seemed to glow. He follows the trail of where it's connected, finding that it somehow seems to trail inside your body, almost as though it was magic. From you previous reactions, it seemed that the chain itself was invisible to you.
Zen carefully lifts you up from your floor and places you back on your bed. He isn't familiar at all with your room, and he feels awkward and out of place, but he knows that you must be even more confused with the whole situation. Even he himself isn't fully aware of what was going on, but he did know a few things that you yourself don't.
The actor sits down on your bed and gazes down at you. He thinks idly to himself that this is how you really look like. It's kind of strange to him, not quite used to it, but he isn't off-put by your appearance either. The young man leans down to place another kiss on your cheek.
"I won't let you die," he quietly murmurs in your ears, but you don't catch it at all, completely unconscious. "I promise I'll keep you safe."

Welcome Back | Zen/Hyun Ryu x Reader
Rating: General Word Count: 585 Genre: Fluff | Slice-of-Life Summary: Home is where the heart is.
When Zen had returned to the apartment from his workout, he was surprised to find you sprawled out on the floor, staring blankly at the ceiling with absolutely no life in your eyes. "Uh, babe...you okay?" The actor couldn't help but ask as he shut the door behind him and slipped off his shoes before making his way over to where you lay.
"No," you answered bluntly, your voice entirely flat and unamused. You didn't break your gaze from the ceiling, even once the actor stopped only a few steps away from you.
"Do you..." Zen thought about his question before continuing, "...hm, do you want to do anything?"
You heaved a long sigh. "Nah... I think I'll just continue lying down here and drown myself in my boredom and despair as I contemplate about my purpose in life."
Well, that was certainly a unique answer, but it wasn't one that Zen has never heard from you before. Almost reluctantly, he made his way to the bedroom to find a new clean set of clothes to change into since his workout clothes he was currently wearing felt sticky and smelled of sweat. The young man decided to shower later, not wanting to leave you alone in that state for too long. As he changed, he heard a loud and pitiful groan from you just outside the bedroom, which quite frankly, caused him to become slightly more worried. As soon as Zen was all changed and ready, he made sure to grab the pillows and blanket off the bed before making his way back to you in the living room.
The actor flashed a friendly smile your way as he set the pillows and blanket down beside where you lay. Soon enough, he too knelt down on the floor to join you, retrieving a pillow for himself and carefully lifting your head to place another pillow underneath you too. Zen took the blanket and lay down by your side, draping the comforting fabric over both of your sprawled forms.
Zen stared at you for a moment before directing his attention to the ceiling above. After a few seconds of easy silence, the actor asked, "Do you think the ceiling's colour looks more like a coffee cream or egg nog cream?"
You squinted hard at the ceiling as you thought about Zen's question. "I think...coffee cream?"
"Huh, okay..."
There were another few minutes of silence until you spoke. "You know, if you think about it, ceilings are basically opposite floors."
"Going by that logic, then wouldn't the walls basically be adjacent floors and floors be opposite ceilings?" Zen asked.
You shrugged your shoulders. "Huh, I guess you're right. ...Rooms are weird."
The actor laughed at your comment, unable to contain himself, his hand moving to lock with yours underneath the blanket and shuffling himself closer to you so that your shoulders were against each other. You leaned your head closer to Zen, and he did the same to you.
This was nice, Zen thought idly to himself. Just relaxing on the floor like this beside you brought him a sense of comfort and...home. It was strange how one person like you changed the whole atmosphere of his apartment. It used to be so cold and drab when he first moved in and struggled to get by, but as soon as you walked into his life, the actor felt like he finally understood what 'home' was, and there was no other place he'd rather be.

Pose for Me | Zen/Hyun Ryu x Reader
Rating: Teen Word Count: 1,128 Genre: Slice-of-Life | Fluff(?) | Humour(? I have a weird sense of humour) Summary: As a freelance artist, why look for references online when your perfectly sculpted boyfriend is more than willing to pose for you?
Zen was in the kitchen looking for a small snack to eat when he heard a frustrated groan come from the living room. Curious, and slightly worried, the young man abandoned his quest for food and instead walked out to see what was wrong. The white-haired male quirked an eyebrow when he saw you sprawled out on the floor face-down before bringing his attention to the laptop on the table where you were supposed to be.
Your drawing tablet lay beside the laptop, abandoned and forgotten. The laptop screen had an Internet browser up, sitting idly on Doodle Images of what looked to be shirtless men in all sorts of what was supposed to seductive poses. Not quite sure on how he felt about that, Zen's eyes traveled back to your still very much sprawled-out form.
"Babe?" he called out to you, walking over and kneeling down just above your head.
"Yeah?" you stubbornly refused to lift your head from the floor, resulting in your voice coming out muffled.
"Uh..." Zen tried to search for the words. "Care to explain...this?"
He had no idea what to call 'this', but he was sure you understood what he was talking about. A few seconds passed before you finally lifted your head, showing a very frustrated and displeased expression. "I can't find it."
"Find what?" Zen prompted you to continue, trying to get you to sit up to a more comfortable position for conversation. He kissed the crown of your head, hoping it'll help wipe away those upset creases.
You sighed in defeat as your eyes flickered back to the screen of your laptop, "A pose. There's a certain pose I have in mind for this one commission, but I can't find any good images to reference it."
"Oh," Zen answers lamely as relief washes over him. For a brief second, he was afraid that you weren't satisfied with him which was why you were looking at images of other men. He hated to admit it, but the actor did feel a bit jealous when he saw what was on the screen. "...Want me to help?"
"What?" you lean back slightly from surprise at the young man's offer.
The actor casually shrugs his shoulders, "You just need to look at an image of a certain pose, right? Wouldn't it be okay if I were the one posing and you took a picture of me?"
"I...guess that could work," you answered slowly as you considered the idea. You thought about it for a bit longer, your eyebrows stitching together before giving a firm nod. "Yeah, that could work. I mean, you definitely have the perfect physique I'm looking for."
"I am perfect, aren't I?" the actor laughs as he stands up from the floor, offering a hand out to help you as well, and you graciously accept it but also roll your eyes at his comment.
"Let me get my camera first since my phone has poor camera quality, and I don't want to use yours when you have so many selfies on it already" you told him before hurriedly turning on your heel and scurrying to where you usually kept your camera. You returned soon afterwards where Zen was still very much patiently waiting for you. You glance up at him, your eyes travelling up and down his toned figure. There wasn't really any intimacy behind the action, instead only calculating professionalism, but Zen still can't help but squirm slightly under your intense gaze. "I'm going to need you to take your shirt off."
"O-Okay," Zen replied, mentally slapping himself when it came out as a stutter. He grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it over his head before handing you the article of clothing to put away for the meantime. "How cute... You're blushing," he points out your flushed cheeks with a small chuckle.
"So are you," you stubbornly retort, and Zen only smiles, completely aware. You grab hold of Zen's hand and guide him over to the couch. "Sit," you order him, and he promptly does so. You guide his limbs around, trying to position the actor in the pose you were looking for and found Zen to be very cooperative with you and easy to work with.
You take a few steps backwards to get a better view of the overall composition, tilting your head thoughtfully to the side. There's a minor adjustment you want to make to the pose, and you feel your cheeks flush slightly as you go to speak, "I, uh... I'm going to need you to spread your legs a bit more for me."
Zen practically choked on air the moment your words reached his ears, and you could see his entire body flush. It took him a moment to recover before answering, "Babe, you really... You really should be careful with your words around me." Nevertheless, Zen did as he was asked, and you wordlessly took the picture, too embarrassed to continue that topic of conversation. You looked over the photo to make sure it was good enough. Satisfied with the result, you nodded and gestured towards Zen that you were done who then fell back to a more comfortable position.
"Can I see the drawing when you're done?" Zen asks, and you freeze on the spot.
"Uhh..." you start, sounding uncertain as your eyes travel across the room. "Unless you want to see a drawing of a dick, I would highly suggest you don't..."
You can feel Zen's intense gaze on you and in an effort to distract yourself, you move back to your laptop to transfer the photo from the camera for easier viewing access. Zen knew that you drew explicit things things every now and then, begrudgingly understanding that sex sells, but it still catches him off guard every time. He still hasn't stopped looking at you, a question lingering in the air around the young man.
"Do you look at pictures of them for references?" he finally brings himself to ask.
"Of course," you reply quickly, but there's an underlying tone of embarrassment in your voice. "But only for references, I swear."
An unbearable silence follows after that, and you pick up your drawing tablet again, ready to resume working on that one commission that was giving you trouble. You hear Zen walk up to your seat from behind, but you will yourself not to look at him, still feeling awkward about having just confessed to your boyfriend that you look and stare at pictures of other people's dicks every now and then for educational purposes.
Zen leans down to whisper a question in your ear that makes you drop your pen and want to scream. "Do you want to use mine as a reference?"
