Names can not be copyrighted. This is not a thing. If you want to name your Persian Nadir Khan, you can! Susan Kay cannot Sue you for copyright unless she can prove that you copied her characterization and that your character would be recognizable as hers. It’s pretty easy to not do that.

I wrote a modern version of phantom and named one of my characters Nadir Khan. Susan Kay cannot Sue me for this. I used Mulheim for Erik’s last name. Frederick Forsyth cannot Sue me for this. My phantom wears a white half mask. Believe it or not, ALW cannot Sue me for this either! But Jessica Mason would like you to think that you can be sued for this things.

I guess there’s a reason she’s not still practicing law.
