I’ve always wondered, why pizza rolls?

OK, so I just went down an internet rabbit hole for an unholy amount of time because I have never actually known the full story.

The first (infamous) pizza rolls gif has been reposted many, many times, but I'm fairly certain this is the original, from 2012. There have since been countless additional gifs, headcanons, memes, references, etc.

However, due to deactivated blogs and tumblr's woeful search abilities, I haven't been able to access the post explaining WHY the gif came about. I did find, however, that @muirin007 had something to do with it.

Idk. I think maybe Marius/Pandora. Don't get me wrong, I do love them and their dynamic. It is interesting to me, but I don't find myself getting overly invested in it at the same time.

6. What’s something you have in common with this character?

I have anxiety, Erik has anxiety, we’d get along swimmingly.

8. What’s something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

This is an interesting question because I tend to just leave these sorts of things alone and let people do what they do, read what they want to read, etc. That said, there are things that I tend to avoid interacting with. The intense villainizing of Erik, for instance, isn’t something that I particularly enjoy, but that’s mostly because he’s a favourite character of mine and I’m never one to enjoy seeing characters, even villains, that I enjoy portrayed and highlighted in their most evil ways. Not to say it isn’t deserved with Erik - he’s definitely meant to be the villain in the story and makes some deplorable choices and does some awful things to a lot of people. Some people can take it really far, though, and turn it into flat-out abuse without considering what that means and the other factors involved (not that there wasn’t abuse, because there sure was), and that tends to be where I draw the line with things personally. It’s a really fine line to walk with Erik, though, so that’s a hard question to answer.

21. If you’re a fic writer and have written for this character, what’s your favourite thing to do when you’re writing for this character? What’s something you don’t like?

I will give Erik a happy family at every possible occasion. Wife and babies, just all the time, that’s my thing. It’s sweet to think of him finally having that domesticity, but it’s also really interesting to write that learning curve for him. He wouldn’t be familiar with how to handle any of that and is destined to make mistakes sometimes, so that is an angle that is always intriguing to take with him. Besides that, him learning how to play with a baby is adorable and I will write it whenever it fits with the story.

What I don’t like writing is the more violent side of Erik. It’s not something that comes easy to me, nor is it something that I particularly enjoy writing. I can write him arguing and shouting, but nothing physical.

You’re going to make me PICK?? This is a sick, twisted question. My honest answer is anything by either @nipuni or @muirin007, and there is SO much other amazing art in this fandom, but this one from @nipuni always stands out to me:

A character whose POV you're currently exploring: the woman in the background of the "Hannibal" scene who is THIS CLOSE to getting her big break before some random ballet girl gets shoved in ahead of her. I'm not even joking.

How I feel about my current WIP: Equal parts "it's coming along nicely," "I'm afraid everyone's one chapter away from giving up on me," and "Fuck, I'm at the part where I have to get things from point A to point B and I only have a vague idea of how to pull it off."

A story idea I haven't written yet: Inspired by this fanart by @muirin007, I have a notion for a PotO/Death Takes a Holiday crossover set in the 1920s. And Persephone's Gambit has inspired a couple one-shot trio smut ideas that may see the light of day sometime...

Well. Tough one. Since I became interested in fandoms? My first interaction with a fandom was due to Naruto being super gay with Sasuke, then either SasuNaru or NejiTen.

If not counting interacting with fandoms, earlier I really liked maybe Usui and Misaki from Kaichou wa maid-sama!

And from when I was a kid, I'm really not sure, but probably Eragon & Arya or Westley & Buttercup. I really liked them then.

I'm not really a "shipper"?, I have my preferences but I don't usually become focused with many of them.

Currently reading

Two years ago I started re-reading again (3rd time) Seven Realms Series by Cinda Williams Chima (I really adore this saga), but stress with university, switching from reading in Spanish to English (not being so used to it then), got me into a block soon after starting The Gray Wolf Throne.

Since then, I've read many manhwas/mangas/mangwas, some of them still not finished (Define the Relationship, Under the Green Light, Thirst...) (Mature content, be wary)

I also tried to go back to reading by beginning Treasure Island... it didn't quite work. I've read 4 chapters or so. Will go back to it in a few weeks probably, after exams.

Currently I am properly reading When the longing returns and Squirrel Girl, plus some D&D stuff from the campaign I'm currently playing.

Another D&D session for sure. I'm starving, I don't think I'll make it 'till the 25th

I mean, money, always money. I'm a currently unemployed broke student and living with my parents is driving me even more insane. Hopefully I'll land a job this summer coding as a still studying junior, the same one I intend to do my internship at next year. I won't make much, but I might be able to pay my part of a shared appartment with some friends once I've finished my current studies.

A hug, hormones have been driving me mad these past two days and I've been so so soft. Still am. I would like to drown in a big embrace, but honestly, right now, I don't have anyone I would like to give me that kind of hug. Am I weird? Haha I'm just not really a "touchy" person.

Time to draw and write, lately I haven't been able to.
