Happy STS! How do your characters fare in a survival setting? (lost in the woods/stuck on a deserted island/etc) Who is immediately suggesting cannibalism? Who's adamant that they’re all gonna make it? Who takes this as a chance to become a ‘wild person’ and wear mud facepaint and no clothes?

As far as The Wildfire King goes, most of those characters fare reasonably in the wild, with Meredith being the best. Zeta is the least incompetent, but he's fifteen and grew up in a castle, so I feel like that's allowed. He'd love the mudpaint for sure!

Our first day with a work from home mom has already been a great success. 🌱 We got out and enjoyed some morning sunshine - finally getting some of that all important before noon sun. 🌱 We decided to add some color to one of our favorite activities - mud painting. The sprouts explored so many great skills pouring and stirring in beet root powder and turmeric to make shades of yellow and red and using brushes, sticks, needles, cars, and of course their hands to make their artwork. 🌱 The only prep was cutting up a giant cardboard box that was just perfect to make canvases and bringing out the spices. The muffin tin and brushes stay in our mud kitchen. 🌱 As a mom it is so easy for me to get stuck in the perfectionist trap, especially when I find myself comparing to other Instagram moms. "Mud Paint" made from mud and brown paint. Ingenious thinking on the children's part. They thought that the mud would dry and fall off the paper so by adding brown paint, it would act like glue! Our color windows have become an everyday staple in our neighborhood urban nature explorations. We discovered that orange is the hardest color to find in Winter but we did!
