god I might get some flack for this but, as much as we did all suspect Gabriel wasn’t going to make it, he deserved something quieter. it didn’t deserve to happen at all. Carlos didn’t deserve that — he and TK, after fucking everything, deserved a wedding without heartbreak. and you know what? the wedding was beautiful, but they didn’t each need to lose a parent, we didn’t need a rushed arc that we know will continue in the next season. they deserved joy and love and, sure, maybe a little bit of a bittersweetness, but not like this.

the performances were phenomenal, there is absolutely no denying that, but I’m heartbroken for the characters. they deserve a breath of fresh air, I think we as viewers deserve that as well after everything. I hope everyone that feels conflicted or otherwise about this season and the finale knows their critiques are validated, and maybe I’m someone who attaches herself too much to the things she loves and the friends who love it, too, but my heart breaks to see others’ hearts break, you know?

anyway, that being said, please don’t go hating on each other or yelling at cast and crew. that’s not fair.
