Synopsis:

Resenha Sincera #1 General and I

Depois de tanto tempo sem postar aqui estou de volta nesse meu cantinho bastante pessoal.

E estreio um novo quadro a Resenha Sincera. Que basicamente significa a minha opinião muito sincera sobre algum drama que eu esteja assistindo. Que pode ter a capacidade de me aflorar sentimentos bons ou ruim.

Resumindo, uma resenha sobre um drama que eu odiei ou amei.

Nas ultimas semana estive em uma Cruzada, quando resolvi apagar mais um drama da minha lista que só cresce  no site Dramafever e escolho o gigantesco épico General and I. Durante essa semana sofri e me apaixonei com os personagens da trama e logo abaixo deixo declarado a minha opinião sincera sobre a série.

Por favor não me odeiem... Opinião é algo muito pessoal.

Então vamos a resenha

Pela sinopse retirada do Dramafever General and I conta a história de

Bai Pingting (Angelababy), criada do príncipe de Jing An, sempre viveu num mundo masculino e ouvia que a virtude da mulher é a ignorância. Mas sendo uma pessoa que tem uma vida melhor que muitas mulheres nobres e que possui uma inteligência que supera qualquer homem, ela nunca acreditou em tal coisa. A genialidade dela a fez receber o apelido de “Zhu Ge feminina” por causa do lendário estrategista da dinastia dos Três Reinos. Sua inteligência chama a atenção do imbatível general Chu Beijie (Wallace Chung), que se apaixona por ela a primeira vista. Mas, em uma época que os reinos de Jin, Yan, Liang e Qin estão em guerra, haver amor entre eles é praticamente impossível. Estão mais fadados a matar um ao outro. Sem mencionar que Pingting é criada do arqui-inimigo do general, o jovem príncipe de Jing An, He Xia (Sun Yizhou). Antes de se abrirem um para o outro, o general e a criada, terão que lidar com decepções e conspirações recorrentes por viverem em tempos tão perigosos. Embora Bai Pingting e Chu Beijie estejam apaixonados um pelo o outro, muitos não aprovarão o amor deles. Os dois conseguirão superar o passado e as mentiras, ou a guerra entre os reinos deles e o desejo de vingança será mais forte que o amor que sentem?

Conhecido também como “A Lonesome Fragrance Waiting To Be Appreciated” e “Gu Fang Bu Zi Shang”, General and I é baseado em um shoujo manhua de 2010 de mesmo nome, que também é baseado em um romance de 2005 de Feng Nong

Partindo para minha resenha sincera

De cara falo que a sinopse não tem muito a ver com o que eu assisti. Pingting é uma ótima estrategista e muito inteligente, mas sua habilidade em criar estratégias para o campo de batalha se deve a um manual de guerra que decorou na infância. Chu Beijie se apaixona por ela a primeira vista sim, mas isso se dá mais ao fato de que ela e seu pai salvaram a vida dele quando criança, e Beijie a reconhece por causa de seu enfeite de cabelo que pertenceu a mãe dele. (Isso no Drama, de acordo com minhas pesquisas externas, o livro é bem diferente)

Não estou familiarizada com o livro e muito menos com o “manhua”, mas em termo de fundação para a história, a premissa é muito boa e acredito que tanto o quadrinho quanto o livro tem diferentes abordagens para a mesma premissa. De acordo com a minha singela pesquisa a respeito, vi que os roteiristas do Cdrama ficaram bem livres em questões do desenvolvimento da história, o que na minha opinião foi o que cagou um pouco a história com o passar dos episódios.

Por exemplo, o desenvolvimento dos sentimentos dos dois personagens principais, me pareceu um pouco superficial e apressado, (pelo lado de Pingting) do nada eu me vi me perguntando, Ué gente, mas já?? Quando isso aconteceu?? E do nada Pingting estava disposta a se sacrificar por Chu Beijie e pelo reino????

A série possui 62 episódios... acho que dava pra desenvolver os sentimentos dos dois um pouco mais profundamente  não era mesmo...

Confesso que não sou uma especialista em dramas chineses e não sei dizer o porquê de todas as decisões e maneirismo para entender certas escolhas de desenvolvimento da história, a atuação dos atores e a filmografia escolhida... E principalmente essa necessidade descabida de dublar os atores principais??? Por que? A voz faz parte da performance do ator!

Também  andei me perguntando se eles são a favor da atuação sem expressão para seus dramas.... Se isso é um pré-requisito... especialmente com a atuação de Angela Baby? Não que eu ache que ela é uma má atriz (já vi um filme com ela e não acho que esse seja o caso), e alguns momentos do drama ela soube entregar bem o que o momento pedia, mas na maior parte do tempo... era aquela mesma expressão...

Acredito que seja uma característica cultural da produção de drama chinesa?

 Outra coisa que me fez ficar curvando os dedos (no estilo coreano) de vergonha alheia,

Foram os excessos de CGI e de câmera lentas... acho que se cortassem essas câmeras lentas pela metade o drama teria 30 episódios no máximo (Confesso que pulei algumas cenas enquanto assistia, e via que iria começar mais uma sessão de lentidão).

A cena da caverna em que Beijie está com febre e Pinting resolve esquentá-lo com seu corpo no melhor estilo de romance de banca de jornal, eu quase tive um treco de tão brega que era.... o que ela aquela luz, o que era aquele vento sobrenatural...��

Desculpem, eu só consigo levar aquele tipo de cena a sério no nível de Strong woman Do Bom soon

Brega, Brega, brega

Fora que em grande parte do drama parecia que os atores não estavam nem no mesmo estúdio gravando, não sei dizer se houve problemas de agendas e tal...mas ficou muito feio e isso não me deixava entrar no clima da série... (foi só comigo?), fora que em meio a um campo de batalha todo mundo parecia que tinha saído do salão de beleza, principalmente Pinting que uma hora parecia uma fada com seus vestidos esvoaçantes e outra hora estava vestida com roupas comum, para depois estar com o os vestido esvoaçante de novo...o continuísta falhou nesse momento também.

Mas apesar disso tudo, acabei aproveitando, me divertindo e suspirando com o romance entre os principais, quando se coloca todos esses problemas de lado, você acaba se evolvendo com a história a níveis de ficar esperando pelo próximo e o próximo episódio e sofre com as separações dos personagens e se emociona com o reencontro dos dois. 

E se surpreende vendo como os dois são implacáveis em suas estratégias de guerra juntos. E como você espera com ansiedade ver como o casal resolveria aquele problema juntos, se surpreendendo com os planos que eles arquitetam. Quando os atores pareciam estar em um mesmo cenário a química entre os dois é ótima, e conseguiam entregar todo o fellIing que se esperava...

Quem não gostaria de um Chu Beijie e seu amor incondicional e devoção... Eu certamente adoraria. (Dramas e sua enorme capacidade de criar homens que existem apenas na fantasia)

Mas finalizando, gostei da série, apesar de seus muitos momentos que me dava raiva...

Assistiria de novo?

Não acredito...

Como havia dito, a história tem uma premissa muito boa... mas foi mal executado. Talvez eu devesse dar uma oportunidade ao Manhua ou ao livro e ver se eu consigo entrar na cabeça dos personagens e entender suas motivações...

Acredito que talvez só assim eu arriscaria assistir de novo. Por que tirando alguns bons momentos do drama, não parece uma boa ideia passar por 62 episódios de novo...

Mas quem é fã de dramas chineses e gosta de um bom histórico de quase fantasia cheio de ação e romance com aquela receita certa de derreter corações, é uma boa pedida...

Sabendo ignorar todo o resto.

CHN and JPN Neck-To-Neck On 2017 Melbourne Individual Apparatus World Cup

On February 25, 2017, the first Individual Apparatus World Cup of 2017 in Artistic Gymnastics has concluded. It started on February 22, 2017 in Melbourne (AUS) as a part of the International Gymnastics Federation’s (FIG) ongoing World Cup series.

Olympic veterans and standout newcomers have shown off their skills to be able to stand at the podium at Australia’s Hisense Arena. Listed below are the top three winners for each apparatus.

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Results

In the said event, China has started establishing their dominance in artistic gymnastics once again, after having been defeated in the last Olympic Games. Chinese gymnasts tumbled off with three of the five event titles awarded on the first day. On the finals, the Chinese men bagged a silver on floor from the newcomer Mu Jile, another silver and a bronze on pommel horse from Zou Jingyuan and Weng Hao respectively. The gold from still rings has been snatched by Wu Guanhua and Zou Jingyuan who tied at the first place despite being both newcomers, the latter also took home the gold in parallel bars. Unfortunately, they didn’t place any on the top three for vault and high bar.

However, China’s greatest opponent, Japan, is close on their heels. Olympian and two-time Floor World Champion Kenzo Shirai has put down his team gold medal from the Rio Olympics to be able to hold his new medals. He snatched the gold in floor, high bar and vault, finishing with a silver on parallel bars. His teammate Wataru Tanigawa bagged the bronze in vault while Yusuke Saito was awarded the same at high bar.

Although considered underdogs, other countries also had the spotlights shine on them. Turkey won quite a few to represent their country. Ferhat Arican won the bronze on floor and parallel bars while Ibrahim Colak got bronze as well on still rings. The host country, Australia, got two silver medals from Christopher Remkes at the vault and Mitchell Morgans on high bar. Hungary took home the gold on the pommel horse which was won by the veteran Krisztian Berki, once again proving his supremacy on the apparatus after being the 2012 Olympic Pommel Horse champion and not being able to compete in Rio.

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Results

The Chinese men’s counterparts aren’t as lucky as they are if based on the medal counts, but their country didn’t lack on podium moments in this series. The female Chinese gymnasts bagged just five medals in total throughout the whole event. The gold on vault was snatched by Olympic team member Wang Yan. Liu Tingting and Huan Luo received their gold and silver medals at the podium responsively from uneven bars. Liu, a sixteen-year-old who passed on Rio due to injuries, returned with a vengeance. She also took home the gold in beam and the bronze in floor.

Australian female gymnasts took revenge for their male gymnasts as they accumulated six medals amongst places first to third. 2012 Olympian Emily Little took home the silver in vault and newcomer teammate Naomi Lee took the bronze. Little also has a bronze in beam and a gold in floor, leaving teammate Georgia Godwin for silver. Another teammate and standout Riana Mizzen was the only Australian medalist in uneven bars, a bronze.

The Melbourne World Cup is a part of the two-year FIG Individual Apparatus World Cup series. It began in November 2016 and would end in March 2018. Gymnasts gain points from each stop and the gymnast with the highest points in total at the end of the circuit is crowned World Cup champion on that event. The next stop on this circuit is Doha, Qatar on March 22-25.
