ᯓᡣ𐭩 Rodimus wasn't one to show vulnerability, not when it really affected him. Sure he was glad to hear what members of the Lost Light had to say, but leaders aren't supposed to admit their own shortcomings. What kind of Prime would he be, if bots couldn't even rely on him to be strong?

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Whenever anyone tried to ask about his state of being, it was easy for him to brush off those questions with a charming smile and little quip about anything else he could think of. Many tended to let him be detached, and he could keep everything in his own chassis

ᯓᡣ𐭩 You, however, became an exception. His precious little human who he kept safe from the, well, less than stable members of the crew. You became attuned to his feelings, and you could especially tell when he was lying. So, naturally, you'd prod a little when he seemed upset

ᯓᡣ𐭩 This lead to a few arguments, with Rodimus insisting that he didn't need the check-ins or your continued worry. But it was that exact attitude that left him stuck in his own processor, too stubborn to let anyone else in. And, to your surprise, one day he crumpled before you, leaning his big helm into your comparatively tiny hand as it all began spilling out of him

ᯓᡣ𐭩 After that initial day, it became much easier for him to talk to you. He could speak on what was bothering him, specifically when you two were alone together and had the time to yourselves. He frequently mentioned thinking that he was putting too much on your shoulders, but you insisted he could rely on you

ᯓᡣ𐭩 You two got caught in a bit of a loop, where he kept insisted you could come to him more so the support felt equal. You'd argued back that he was always worrying about you, and he needed to care for himself just as much. While this went back and forth, you both finally concluded that setting aside time where you both could vent in equal measure was best

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Rodimus became noticeably happier after he began venting to you regularly. To all the bots it looked about the same, but you could see how his smiles were brighter, his cheery enthusiasm now being more genuine

ᯓᡣ𐭩 In turn, Rodimus listens very intently when you tell him anything about yourself. He'll shamelessly interupt or shoo away anyone trying to cut you off, putting his full attention on you and supporting you in the same way you'd done for him

In the beginning, he blamed his hunger on the fool’s energon. Having been tampered with, the chemo-sedatives were never meant to fulfill him. The rations were meant to keep him in line, and if the constant, dull, pang of hunger was a side effect, then Megatron’s put up with worse. 

Until he sees you underneath him, back arched and body flushed against his frame: skin to metal, chest to chassis.

He has never felt this starved in millenniums. 

You made a breathless, begging sound, fingers trembling against his shoulders as if attempting to squeeze — nails barely denting the surface of his armor. For a fraction of a second, his appetite was sated, curbed by the sight of your bodies intertwined against the sheets. But with the air growing taut and heavy, he suddenly finds himself acting out of blind desire, seized by a new kind of want. 

Dentae licking the column of your neck, he ignores the strain in his wires from being mass displaced for so long, choosing to taste you on his tongue instead.

He tastes the sea and hears you moan, ecstasy gripping his spark. Holding your body with a new kind of vigor, Megatron stared down at you as if he was a desert on the brink of drought. And he knew that for him, you would be his river, endless and giving, already spreading your legs to pull him closer to drink.

2. I must be dreaming // they don’t hear me 

The vastness of space had always made the Lost Light eerily quiet. Well, maybe that was courtesy to the absence of Rodimus and Co, who are currently indulging in the bars of Hedonia and have left the ship in the hands of bots who have no interest in going anywhere near the hab-suite of the mech who had taken Rung hostage and threatened to kill everyone else. So now, in the privacy of his room, you could only hear your breathing mixing with the faint, mechanical whirring of Fort Max’s cooling fans. 

Here, sprawled across his palm with the buttons of your shirt undone and everything beneath the waist removed, you braced yourself on your elbows to catch his optics. 

“ Do you still want to continue?” You whispered, afraid that anything louder would startle him away like a skittish animal. But any apprehension on your part was quickly dismissed when he nudged your knees apart with his nose, eyes red like rubies, gleaming under the silhouette. 

When he pressed his dentae flat against your cunt, heavy and warm and so wet, you were glad that the entire level was quiet. Because it meant the floor was empty, and Fort Max could indulge in the sounds you make all he wants, undisturbed and uninterrupted by the stillness of space outside.

3. If it hurts to breathe // open a window 

Tarn was never cruel to you. It sounded like a lie, but he has done nothing but treat you like you were made of glass: too precious to drop and even more inconvenient to replace. So you do your best to perform. Until the line between reality and pretence starts to blur, the same way the minutes begin to melt into months, and you find yourself no longer sure of where you stand.

Somewhere along the way, your arms are shaking, trembling under the weight of your body as it spasms in anticipation. It feels like you’ve been here for hours, thighs slick with sweat as they struggle to properly wrap themselves around Tarn’s waist.

You can see his eyes narrow in amusement behind the mask, enthralled if not obsessive, servos sure to leave marks against the right side of your hips. You had his spike halfway inside of you, and even with his mass displaced, you had a feeling this was as far you could go. But every time your body clenches down to reach its peak, he abruptly stops you, and you don’t understand what you did to warrant this kind of torture.

But then you catch him staring, unable to peel his optics away from the mess between your bodies. Tarn wants to see you like this — pleading and wet, helpless in his grip. Tarn was never cruel to you, so when you finally cave in and beg for him to give you what you want — what you need — he doesn’t hesitate to press you down the metal slab of his berth.

This time, when you pressed your face against the wiring of his neck, you didn't have to perform. All you needed to do was sing. Because there was nothing more beautiful to Tarn than the sound of you wanting.

Minimus was a perfect servant, or that is how he wanted to think about himself. He would get up early, prepare himself, get ready, and rush to serve the royalty.

You were a shark princess, a member of the royal family and he was just one of your many little servants. What set him aside from others was his tremendous strength.

He could alone bring you your huge plate that consisted of wild fishes, caught by handy octopus Mers. That was his normal morning, bringing you your breakfast and taking care of your every want or need.

With due time, it became a rumor around the palace that you appeared to favor Minimus over other remora Mers.

Minimus would always say and correct that the rumors were false and that there was nothing between a servant like him and royalty like you.

One day, Minimus was preparing your after-bath dinner, but another servant came to him, looking fearful.

"M- Minimus...!" The Mer panted and the green little Mer looked at the other Mer in shock, "What, what is it?"

"It's the princess!"

"What about them? Are they alright?"

"She- She wants you!"

"Me?" Ah, he must have meant your dinner, "Ah, I see. I'll just get the fish prepared and-!"

"No!" The other servant shook their head, "She wants to see you now!"

"But isn't she-?" Minimus blinked as he realized why the other servant was so panicky. It was your bath time, a time when female remoras would help you bathe.

The male swallowed nervously and left his position to join you in the royal baths. Once there, Minimus noted that you were already done bathing and gone. You must have moved to your quarters.

So that is where Minimus headed.

There you were, relaxing. As soon as he made it, your head whipped around.

"Minimus." You turned to look at the Mer half your size and he bowed out of habit and because of his respect for you. "Milady."

He raised his head enough to look at you. yet he was still avoiding direct eye contact. "I heard you especially requested me?"

"I wouldn’t have called you if it wasn’t important." You stated and Minimus nodded as he bowed again, "Of course, milady."

A silence fell between you, only to be broken by your sighing. Minimus grew worried, "Milady, is everything alright?"

"No." You said as you sighed, "We had a meeting today."

Ah, the royal family meeting. You hated those, mainly because as the youngest member of your family, you had very little authority over the things that took place in the kingdom.

"Please, cheer up milady." The green Mer tried to cheer you up, but you sighed even louder.

"Let's be honest Minimus. I'm not the firstborn so I don't get anything but a fair title and place in the palace."

"That's not true, milady. You-!"

"Would be married off to someone to strengthen our kingdoms' union, but that honor is reserved for my older siblings."

Minimus frowned, knowing that what you said was true. You were the youngest out of 8, so it was highly unlikely that you would get much when the King would pass.

Like you said, you would have a title as a princess and you would have a home here in the palace where you would never have to work and you could live your life sweetly without worries your older siblings would have.

"Well...!" You finally smiled a little, "At least I get to do is to decide who I will marry."

"See, milady? Things aren't that bad in the end."

"Well, there is one problem." You groaned, "The Mer I have my eyes on is unaware of my feelings for him."

"Can I help you somehow?" He asked and you pouted as you turned to look at him.

"I like you Minimus." You blurted out without blinking an eye, "I like you enough to take you as my consort."

Minimus froze. He stared at you for a good moment before he felt his face starting to burn and turn red.

"M- Milady!" He stuttered in shock, "Please reconsider! I am nothing but a humble servant, a remora! I can't offer you the life you deserve!"

"You are my best and favorite servant. You know me better than anyone else." You pointed out, but then you became quiet as if you were deep in thought.

Minimus hoped that you were reconsidering, but then you looked at him again and grinned, "Is it a problem?"

"Huh?"

"Is me being a princess a problem for you?"

"No, milady, but-!"

"Then let's leave this place!" You suddenly shouted with a huge smile and Minimus blinked his red eyes, "Excuse me?!"

"Yeah! Let's go and form a new pod!" You smiled, showing off your razor sharp triangle-shaped teeth as you swam to the green Mer who was only half your size, and grasped his hands.

"Let's go on a journey and let me prove my love for you!" You were so excited and Minimus knew from experience that when you would get excited over something, you would get extremely stubborn also.

Finally, he sighed and nodded, "Very well, milady. I accept your proposal."

"Jay! We are going on an adventure!" You cheered happily and Minimus watched you swim around your suite in excitement. He doubted that you would actually leave the comfort of the castle...

Or so he thought, but there he was with you but the palace's doors, being sent off on a journey by your father, the king himself.

"Look after my daughter, Minimus. She can be a handful." The king nodded at him and the former servant and now your mate, nodded shakily, "Y- Yes, your highness."

"We will be alright Father!" You said happily and the huge shark king nodded as you grasped Minimus and bolted into the vast sea, hungry for adventures and eager to have your love with your new consort to bloom.

Rictor is such an enduring fave for me because he’s sick as hell and he struck me as cool one time which means I’m obsessed with him forever. Pretending for a moment that I have a specific rationale for why he’s the best comic book character of all time (outside of MTMTE), it’s because he serves a crucial role in every book.

Rictor’s character isn’t strictly unique. Edgy spike-wearing gay character afraid of their own powers? Rachel did it first and better. Latinoamerican New Mutant whose father broke his heart and who can’t stop dating and breaking up with female teammates while pining after a male one? There are two of them. The only thing that makes Rictor special is that he keeps getting written off and coming back. While most D-listers have a secondary role in a single non-X-Men ongoing and then get put in the dustbin forever, Rictor has been in at least one ongoing per decade for forty years. While most C-listers get cycled into comics consistently, Rictor drops off the face of the planet whenever the one writer who remembers him gets moved to a different book. Introduced by Simonson, dumped by Liefeld, resurrected by Nicieza, jettisoned by Loeb, picked up by David, blasted into oblivion by Bendis, retrieved by Rosenberg/Howard and now silenced by Duggan. Nobody ever thinks of him as a cast member; he’s a curiosity.

He’s a peripheral character. This is melded into the very essence of his writing—he’s volatile, constantly on the edge of leaving (getting written off), abandoning Xavier’s ideals, abandoning hope in life at all. Rictor needs to be convinced moment by moment that staying with an X-Team is better than acting on his own. He’s done heroics off-panel, he’s been his own master, he has his own loyal backup, he’s sceptical of authority for good reason. When you bring Rictor into a book, he asks the other characters to justify his presence to him and to us the reader. Rictor questions the very foundation of whatever he’s in and we get to read the answers he’s given. It wouldn’t be the same without the years of push-pull as he gets almost completely forgotten but not quite.

Male reader or gender neutral reader, you can specify either afab or amab for GN readers, and afab for male readers(I am a trans/NB friendly page!) If GN reader isn't specified I will use GN language and not specify any gendered parts.

Must be all adult characters for romantic/nsfw requests, that includes the Bot characters. So no canonically sparklings. Then aged up is okay, however they will not behave as minors.

Any kink is allowed besides underaged, ageplay and zoophilia, asking for a bot who's alt is an animal/dino is a-okay so long as they are fully aware and able to communicate. Requests involving them in beast mod are also okay, again so long as they can speak and retain their consciousness.

This is a blog dedicated to male readers, masc aligned readers and NB people, so I will readily accept requests for them. Female readers or female aligned is a 'per approval' basis. A/N – This pretty much works as gender neutral if any of the ladies or gender non-conforming folks would like to read it.

Rodimus glumly walked the length of the ship feeling too dejected to transform and drive as he plodded through his melancholy thoughts. He considered going to Swerve's where he could drown his troubles in some high-grade energon, but since other bots were the sources of his problems, he didn’t want to go where so many were bound to be. So, he continue to walk on, paying no mind to where he was going, nor what he was seeing. He paid so little attention to his surroundings that he would have injured you, had you not called out his name in time.

“ARGH! Sorry (Y/N),” Rodimus said, backing up to give you some room. As the only human aboard, it was easy not to notice you sometimes; you were so small that you only came up to Rodimus' knees.

“It's fine,” You smiled boyishly, making Rodimus envy your carefree demeanour.

You waited for some kind of response or joke from Rodimus. When he didn't say anything, you noticed how depressed he seemed to be.

“A penny for your thoughts?”

Rodimus didn't know what a penny was, but he understood the sentiment well enough. “It's nothing, I'm just having a bad day.”

“Well, if you want a friendly ear, I'm free.”

Rodimus hesitated, unsure of whether he wanted to talk or not.

“How about this, I'll stay in my room all night and if you want to talk, just come on in, ok?” You suggested.

You didn't wait for a reply, instead giving Rodimus space as you headed back to your hab-suite.

Rodimus lingered in place only a little while longer until finally decided that talking to you might be exactly what I needed. Upon entering your room, he was somewhat surprised to find that you had prepared a small plate of energon sweets for him. They looked like the kind Rung made for his patients; Rodimus wondered if that was where you had gotten them from.

“I'm glad you decided to come. Would you like to sit down?” You asked.

Rodimus silently made his way over to the sofa, sitting squarely down.

Although you had your own set of human sized furniture on the opposite side of the room, you clambered onto the sofa to sit next Rodimus; he looked like he needed the company. Never before had you seen him sit so perfectly still. He usually slung a leg over the side of his chair, or he would lie on his back so he practically filled the whole space while he constantly fidgeted, incapable of sitting still; it was sad to see him so constrained.

“So, what's on your mind?” You prompted.

Rodimus considered how much he ought to tell you about this plight. He planned to keep it minimal so as to not burden you, but the second he began talking it was like the floodgates opened and he found that he couldn't stop.

“It's Optimus,” he admitted, ashamed that he was angry at his hero and mentor. “I've always looked up to him - Primus, who hasn't? - and I always thought he saw me as an equal or at the very least someone with the potential to be one.”

“But then I start this Quest, which is my first time as captain and it's like he thinks I'm not worthy or something. WHY DID HE MAKE MEGATRON CO CAPTAIN, FOR FRAGS SAKE?! It's not fair. Like, what? I'm no match morally-speaking than a guy who's committed mass-genocide? I CARRIED THE MATRIX TOO, DAMN IT OPTIMUS!”

As if afraid Optimus would hear him and berate him for harbouring doubt, Rodimus fell momentarily silent again.

“The crew... They blame me for bringing Megatron aboard but I didn't choose this. Maybe they want to try telling Optimus no sometime, then they’ll see that it’s impossible. I didn't want Megatron here either, much less with him judging everything I do as Co-captain... It really isn't fair.”

“In the end though, what if is Optimus is right? What if I have dragged everyone on the stupid quest to find the Knights of Cybertron and I can't do it? What if I really am not worthy?”

Rodimus held his head in his hands, letting the question linger heavily in the air, completely prepared for you to confirm his worst fears and tell him that he was indeed a terrible leader.

You reached out with your foot and nudged Rodimus' thigh. He looked over to find you smiling sympathetically.

“You know,” You said pensively, “It's good that this is what worries you.”

“What?” Rodimus croaked.

“A person who thinks that they make a perfect leader is actually terrible because they're not willing to change in the interests of their people,” You explained. “By worrying that you're a bad captain, you're allowing yourself to grow by taking into account what the crew need you to be.”

“But Megatron-”

“Is a problem that Optimus created, which was incredibly selfish of him, and a topic for later. Right now, your problem boils down to you and your insecurities. You think you're not worthy, Rodimus? Codswallop, I say, but it isn't me you need to convince; you need to convince yourself and there’s only one way to do that.”

“How?” Rodimus asked desperately.

“Think of all the things that you believe make a worthy leader and never stop thinking of them until you meet all the criteria. Build yourself into the captain you want to be. Grow.”

At your words, Rodimus felt somewhat inspired; at least he knew one person on the ship believed in him. Come to think of it, you were always there when he needed advice. Rodimus had valued your friendship from the moment you were assigned to the Lost Light as Earth's ambassador. You were kind, wise, fun to be around, and now that he thought about it, Rodimus realised that you were pretty good looking as far as humans were concerned.

Upon realising his attraction to you, Rodimus found himself staring at your lips. Ever rash, he dove towards you, pressing his lips against yours, earning a startled gasp from you.

“You, me, drinks tonight?” He winked flirtatiously after pulling away.

“Oh, um, okay,” You stammered, completely flustered by the sudden change in Rodimus' demeanour.

“Great, see you then,” He grinned, leaving you alone once more. As soon as the door closed, Rodimus pumped his fist into the air, feeling much better than he did earlier; things were looking up.

Fortess Maximus is horrified, it’s like a recurring nightmare. The replaying of his own torture at the hands of Overlord in the back of his mind. Over and over and over. The staticky shrieks coming from his conjux rattled his very spark, the rest of his body shivering with it. He had waited three years until help came for him. He had only survived that long because Overlord had wanted him to, but even then he had still wished for death. “My my, Maximus are you sobbing?” Overlord asked him in fake concern. There was screeching and twisting of metal immediately after the question, Overlord attempting to get a reaction and succeeding. “Stop…! Stop!” The former warden pleaded. The phase-sixer merely laughed in amusement before beginning to pull at his current entertainment’s servo, smiling at the sound of the snapping of wires.
