IDW/MTMTE

Meeting Lithia would always be one of Ratchet’s most treasured and surprising moments.

It was normal to see new parents suddenly becoming nervous about how they were going to raise their sparklings.

But it was new to see them THROW their sparkling.

Ratchet is talking with Orion Pax in the waiting room when there was a sudden loud set of pedes coming their way. Pharma was running to them fear and worry clear in his optics Pharma: “Ratchet! Catch her!” Orion sees a small metal object flying straight to them. Ratchet is faster as he jumps up and catches the object. Pax catches him before he can fall on his back. Both mechs are surprised to see a little sparkling in loose wrappings. Two bots hurriedly run out of the clinic. Both bots: “FREEDOM!” Pharma: “Those were the parents!” Orion: “I’ll get them.” Orion goes out the door to follow them, leaving a dumbfounded Ratchet staring confused at the sparkling who was just chirping and reaching for his face. Ratchet: “What just happened…?”

Orion never did find out where the parents went off to.

Ratchet offered to take care of the sparkling for the week until the sparkling unit was back online after the energy outage.

It was more than enough time for Ratchet to get attached to her.

He would never understand how her parents could even think on abandoning such a sweet little sparkling.

It was thanks to a little ‘battery incident’ that would give him the idea of her name.

Lithia, named after the 15 batteries, she tried to eat when he turned his back for 10 SECONDS!

Orion Pax is one of the first bots she meets after Ratchet thinks it’s a good idea to take her outside the normal routine.

The officer chuckled when he saw his friend with the sparkling from the clinic.

He had a feeling his friends soft spark would reach out for her.

Lithia takes an immediate liking to Orion.

Part of Ratchet is thankful that she takes a liking to him.

Ratchet: “Are you sure you can watch her? I know another bot who can gladly—” Orion: “I have it under control Ratchet. You go cover your shift and I will take care of Lithia.” Lithia happily chirps as she starts playing with Pax’s digits. Ratchet sighs. Ratchet: “All right. You two have fun. Goodbye Lithia, watch Uncle Orion.” Orion huffs a bit as Ratchet pats her helm affectionately and leaves. Lithia chirps sadly as the medic leaves. She looks up at Orion. Orion: “Now, let’s go see some other friends.” Later in the gladiator’s quarters… Megatron: “Pax… what is on your helm?” Lithia is on his helm gently playing with his finals, chirping softly. Orion twitches them every so often making her squeal in delight. Orion: “This is Lithia, say hello Lithia.” Lithia chirps happily and waves at the gladiator. Megatron waves a bit at the sparkling.

It is when Lithia is a youngling she meets Drift.

Lithia was reviewing material for her entrance medical exams when Orion brought in a bot who was overdosing on boosters.

Ratchet took most care of the mech, Lithia made sure that the poor thing knew he was safe.

Drift wasn’t sure if he was hallucinating when he saw a youngling grabbing his servo whispering positive mantras in his audial.

As cheesy as some of them where… they helped calm him down so the doctor could do his work quicker.

By the end, Lithia smiles at Drift and gives him an energon goodie and a sticker while waving goodbye.

He was nice to her it was the least she could do.

Loves cleaning Ratchet’s tools.

Ratchet’s spark swells with pride when Lithia came running in telling him that she had passed with flying colors.

Ratchet waits until she is a bit older to tell her what actually happened to her bio parents.

Lithia stares at the ground with slightly wide optics. Ratchet is sitting down next to her. Its silent. Lithia: “…That was… unexpected…” Ratchet: “Yes, I think it was for everyone that day… I understand if you do want to try and contact them, they are your parents after all—” Lithia: “Woah! Woah! Woah! Who says I want to contact them?” Ratchet: “You don’t?” Lithia: “No! Why would I want to contact some poor excuses of parents who thought it was a good idea to throw their sparkling as a decoy to get out of the clinic.” Lithia huffs in bitterness. Ratchet: “I thought you’d be a bit more… sympathetic to this.” Lithia scoffs. Lithia: “… It’s their loss in the end. They’d probably be terrible parents anyways. Plus, I already have the greatest parent on Cyberton!” Lithia wraps her arms around Ratchet. Ratchet grumbles a bit at the sudden hug but pulls her in for a side hug. Relief slowly washing over him. Ratchet: “I wouldn’t say greatest…” Lithia: “Shh! You are!”

Ends up joining Ratchet and Orion to meet with Senator Shockwave, Chromedome and the Outliers.

She is just happy to be there.

Some of the bots are surprised to see such a sweet youngling have a grump of a parent like Ratchet.

It was in her final years of med school when the war started.

Goes with the Autobot faction as soon as Ratchet joins.

Ends up achieving Doctor status on accident after her squad’s doctor was shot by a stary blast making her the team doctor.

Lithia ended up getting everyone out of there.

She is referred to by doctor status even if she did not ‘officially’ pass the exams.

But it was not like there were many available during the war.

Lithia is trying to fix a random bots servo. Lithia: “Okay if you just place your servo here, we can get started.” The bot keeps their servo to their side. Random bot: “I thought the doctors did this part?” Lithia: “While I am not 100% certified on paper, I can assure you I am as much of a doctor as Ratchet and Pharma are.” Lithia gently reaches for the bots servo. SMACK! Lithia slowly reached for her face where the bot had slapped her. Random bot: “I only see REAL doctors. Not some useless nurse pretending—” SLAM! Lithia slams her servo on the worktable silencing the bot. Lithia smiles again, but her optics hold a barely controlled fury. Lithia: “Now you listen here… we do not have the luxury right now of having a full staff at the ready. If you need a reminder why, please take a right outside the room, another two lefts where you’ll see the battlefield currently at our doorstep!” Lithia huffs a bit as her servo curls around a wrench while looking at the bot dead in the optic. Lithia: “So, I’m going to give you two options. The first option is easy, you apologize for slapping me and I fix your servo up so you can be on your way out the door. Or you choose the second option where you try and slap me again, I don’t fix you, you have a wrench lodge deep in your tailpipe while most of the medical team and some of the higher officers come to see why a soldier physical harmed a doctor, who was just doing her job.” She is slightly satisfied seeing the bot slightly tremble. Lithia: “So… option one or option two?” Ratchet walks over. Ratchet: “Is there a problem here?” Random bot: “Finally! An actual doctor! This crazy nurse was threatened me!” Lithia’s grip on the wrench tightens as her optics narrow. Lithia: “I think you missed the part where you insulted my skills as a doctor and slapped me.” Ratchet’s optic twitched as he slowly looks at the random bot. The same fury that was in Lithia’s optics was burning brighter in his. Ratchet: “They did what!?” Every bot within a 10-mile radius feels Ratchet’s anger. After hours… Lithia is on the med slab letting Ratchet look at the are where she had been slapped. Lithia: “As much as I appreciate you coming in, I had it handled.” She goes to touch the region, but her servo was swatted by Ratchet’s. Ratchet: “Don’t touch it.” Lithia smiles a bit as Ratchet continued with his work.

After that incident Prowl, Ratchet and Ultra Magnus made sure that her record showed that Lithia was a certified doctor.

Tries her absolute best to keep a positive outlook on things and smile for the patients.

Someone had to during these times of war.

Many nights Ratchet finds her going back to his room, just wanting to be by his side and stay there.

He knows the feeling and gives her a side hug.

Its during one mission Lithia was separated from the group and cornered with an injured Wrecker.

No weapons, no way to communicate with the others, just a heavy med kit and a blaster low on cartilage.

Lithia was determined to make sure her patient made it out alive.

Lithia is cornered with her patient in a dead end. The shadow of the Con starts coming closer. She could see the glistening of the blaster in his servo. Stands protectively over the unconscious Wrecker. Lithia: “If you’re going to shoot do it but leave the Wrecker alone.” The Con looks strangely familiar. He looks at her with a hint of curiosity. A minute passes before the Con lowers his blaster. Lithia could almost feel her spark give out. He turns to leave. Lithia: “Thank you…” Deadlock: “Deadlock. Get out of here kid. The war is no place for heroes.”

Lithia manages to find a better hiding spot until the heat dead down.

Eventually she was found by Bumblebee and Hot Rod.

Ratchet is so relief that Lithia is back safe.

Eventually the young doctor would meet the bot again, of course under the new name Drift.

Timeskip to the Lost Light boarding…

Lithia had made up her mind to stay on Cybertron to help rebuild it.

Bumblebee and Prowl were going to need all the servos they could to rebuild a new Cybertron.

It was tough to say goodbye to her father, but they both agreed this was going to benefit them both.

Even if it hurt…

She remembered gripping on Bumblebee and screaming seeing the Lost Light explode.

Lithia was a hollow shell for a while, mourning for her friends and father.

She eventually got better with time.

Rebuilding Cybertron was certainly a challenge, even with help by her friends.

Even starting to make a life for herself.

One example was becoming Amica Endura with Bumblebee.

As much as she had her suspicions on Starscream becoming the leader of Cybertron, Lithia had to admit that he was the best leader the planet had in a long time.

The death of Bumblebee tore her apart feeling and hearing the news.

Lithia would forever be thankful for Optimus coming back and helping her through the loss.

Optimus is sitting in a communications room with Skyfire. Lithia enters looking a bit tired. Lithia: “You needed to see me?” Skyfire smiles at her. Skyfire: “There is someone who wants to speak to you.” Lithia raises an optic, a bit confused but walks over the console. Lithia: “Hello?” Ratchet: “Lithia?” Lithia gasps as her servo goes straight to her mouth. Lithia: “Dad?” Ratchet: “Finally this thing is working. Yes, Lithia, I’m right here. How are you?” Lithia: “You’re… you’re alive!?” Ratchet: “Yes? Last time I checked I was?” THUD! Lithia had passed out. Ratchet: “Lithia? Lithia are you there?” Optimus: “Ratchet we are going to call you back later.” Ratchet: “Why?” Optimus: “…She may have passed out…” Ratchet: “What? Why? This isn’t new?” Optimus: “Apparently no one told her that the crew was alive, including you.” Ratchet: “… Oh just those bots wait until I get there…”

In a nutshell, how would Apollonis and Litha interact? I feel like they'd just be like like their parents' dynamic wise

In a nutshell...

There's a bit of a one sided rivalry when Apollonis first becomes Ratchets student with Lithia. Lithia is just glad to have a friend.

When Apollonis defects and becomes an Autobot, she is met with a hug from Lithia.

The former Con vows to keep this little ray of sunshine away from dirty bots that will take advantage of her.

Lithia is glad her friend is back with her.

When it comes to the Lost Light, I like to think that either they both go on the ship in the beginning or go on once Megatron joins.

In a nutshell, what is/was IDW/MTMTE Lithia's relationship with the other medics? (Pharma, First Aid, Ambulon specifically since they were friends before/during the war iirc)

In a nutshell...

Pharma:

Lithia knew Pharma from a young age. During the begining of the war Ratchet worked closely with Pharma, meaning she often saw the mech. She liked him, he was a good medic, almost as good as her father. It also helped that he made some of her study guides to pass some of her medical exams. Lithia often wondered what happened to him after they had to leave with Optimus.

First Aid:

Being a medic and a bit of a pacifist during the war was hard to find. Lithia quickly clicked with First Aid on hearing his beliefs. Lithia often spent her time around him and the other protector bots when the medbay wasn't to busy. There was much talk amongst the combiner crew about First Aid getting with Lithia. All talking was brushed off though.

Ambulon:

Lithia remembered very little of Ambulon. Mainly because he was a fellow student at the same medical school she went to. The bot was a shy one and always seemed on edge. They never interacted much besides asking what homework was due or where certain classes where located.

Nutshell request lost light lithia and wobbles in the same universe

In a nutshell...

Lithia didn't know what she was in for when she entered the Lost Light.

Mainly starting after seeing a bot hobbling on one pede while holding the other pede in one servo and some rust sticks in the other.

Does get the run down by the medical staff about Wobbles situation.

Is a bit stressed seeing the bot falling apart and asking if it was Tuesday already, but gets used to it the longer she is exposed to it.

Lithia and First Aid are Co-Captain's of the Ambulon x Wobbles ship.

Honestly just any of the tfp opposite personality daughters and their dads reaction on getting a partner.  One of my favorite tropes, when done right, is the overprotective father simply because their realizing that their little girl is growing up

Optimus feels like he’d be totally okay with Maxima dating as long as their partner treats her well, he’s just big an intimidating so he accidentally scares the partner

Ratchet is the exact opposite.  He still remembers when she would cling to him after a nightmare, when she was small enough to hold with one servo, WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE’S DATING SHE'S TOO YOUNG FOR THAT (she’s a grown adult)

Ultra magnus is intimidating and means to be intimidating.  If someone wants to court his daughter they're going to need to reach his expectations and then some.  And while he does apply these same expectations to everyone, and as long as they're trying and not actively going against them, then he’ll be as lenient as he’s capable of being.  Unless you’re trying to date his daughter, then you better fucking exceed his impossibly high expectations.

Steve gets a pass because Ophilia’s dads a dick.  Though having Bee offhandedly mention Ophilia’s conjux to Optimus and Ratchet would be funny.  Or fuck it, mtmte Megatron just gets thrown threw a portal and now steve does have to pass a megatron who actually cares about his daughter’s judgment.  He’s too old for this, he’s just happy that Ophilia found someone that makes her happy.

How have I not thought about this?!?!

Maxima, Lithia, Rapidfire, and Ophelia's dad's/guardian's react to their partners

Maxima

Overall, if Optimus caught wind that Maxima did have feelings for a fellow bot, he would be one of the most accepting on this list about the news.

Of course, there’s that little side that he can’t believe his kid is growing up.

His little bean is becoming big!

But does well in accepting it and supporting Maxima.

As long as the bot loves her, respects her, and treats her well there isn’t going to be a problem.

Optimus trust Maxima in picking her partner, but also wouldn’t mind playing match maker if it was okay.

 (Maxima and Grimlock)

 Grimlock isn’t too worried when it’s the meet and greet time.

He does have some confidence in himself and in the relationship, he built with Maxima.

Yes, there is some intimidation.

It’s Optimus Prime for crying out loud!

Not that Optimus is aware he is doing it.

Our fellow dinobot may do some goofy things to try and impress Optimus and show off to him and Maxima that he does have what it takes to be a good Conjunx.

But the display of strength is not what gives Grimlock the green light.

It was a little moment the Prime had accidentally stumbled on that did.

Maxima and Grimlock are standing in one of the aisles of the scrapyard.

Maxima has a bit of a worried look on her faceplate looking at her Conjunx.

“Grim you’ve been acting a bit weird today, especially with the hit you took earlier. Is everything okay?”--Maxima

Grimlock puffs his chassis.

“Of course I am! What kind of Conjunx would I be if I wasn’t strong enough!”--Grimlock

“Grim you took a steel column to the back when you were showboating earlier.”--Maxima

“But I’m okay ain’t I?”--Grimlock

Maxima sighs a bit and sits on the floor, patting the side next to her.

Grimlock sits down next to her.

Maxima pulls him by the neckcables down, so his helm is on her lap.

“You can talk to me Grimlock.”--Maxima

She starts petting his helm gently, watching his dino optics sagging a bit.

“I just wanted to show I was a strong Conjunx for ya that’s all.”--Grimlock

Maxima chuckles a bit.

“Grim, you were showboating your strength because you were afraid my dad was going to say something? My spark, you could be at a quarter of your strength and I would still love you the same.”--Maxima

Grimock’s tail absent mindedly starts to wag a bit.

“You would?”--Grimlock

“Of course I would. You could be human, and I would still love you. I love you for being yourself Grimlock. For being the goofy, loyal, and honest partner you are. Your strength is an added bonus.”--Maxima

“Even me being a dinobot?”--Grimlock

“Yes, another added bonus. I mean how many bots can brag about being Conjunxed to a Dinobot? Not many, and I’m lucky enough to be one of the few to do it.”--Maxima

They both chuckle a bit before looking at each other’s optics.

“Primus I love you.”--Grimlock

“I love you too my spark. Now I think Russel wanted to show the rest of the team a movie with Earth Dinosaurs in it, you ready to see it?”--Maxima

Grimlock jumps up and picks up Maxima bridal style and runs off with a laughing Maxima.

Optimus walks from behind some of the taller shelves with a warm smile on his face.

His sparkling was in good servos.

Lithia

Ratchet is one of the bots that does not take the news of the crush well.

Yes, he is aware that Lithia is an adult, and this is her life, but he still sees the sparkling that carried a mini replica of his med kit and tried to replicate his paintjob at 3 am.

Ratchet is slower to come to terms with the fact that Lithia is growing up and has someone on her mind.

Eventually he does give in to the idea and tries to be open-minded on Lithia’s potential partner.

If he doesn’t know the bot, Ratchet is much more likely to be snappier and colder to them.

If he does know the bot it can be a good thing if they are on his good side. This could lead to Ratchet himself even putting in a good word for them.

If they are on his bad side, Ratchet is going to do whatever it takes to try and get Lithia to seek out other possible partners out there.

(Lithia and Bumblebee)

Ratchet isn’t blind when he sees Lithia giving some long looks and Bee being in proximity of her in their early days on Earth.

Ratchet is surprised when he does meet up with the pair again and they are not Conjunxed.

Ratchet watching from a far at Bumblebee and Lithia discussing about something when Optimus comes by.

“Is there a problem old friend?”—Optimus

Ratchet sighs a bit seeing the pair laughing a bit.

“I would have guessed they would have bonded by now.”—Ratchet

Optimus hums in agreement.

“You’re not the only one who sees it?!”—Sideswipe

Some of the other team comes over.

“They have been giving each other gushy eyes forever!”--Russel

“Gushy eyes?”--Grimlock

“Earth term.”—Strongarm

They all pause hearing much louder laughter from Bumblebee and Lithia looking at him with the ‘gushy eyes’.

“Someone needs to get them together soon or I’m going to have a meltdown.”—Sideswipe

Denny looks at Ratchet and Optimus.

“How long has this thing been going?”--Denny

Ratchet and Optimus having a flashback to the pairs time at the base and the kids trying and failing to play match maker.

“Believe me, you do not want to know.”--Ratchet

Bumblebee is one of the only bots that Ratchet didn’t mind if Lithia decided to bond with.

He might do a little snooping on why they haven’t bonded yet.

Overall, Ratchet does approve of the scout being with his sparkling.

Rapidfire

Excuse me she has a what?

Yeah, Magnus does not take the news too well.

This is unfamiliar territory for Magnus and does not know how to grapple with it.

So naturally he falls on his fail safe.

Rules and regulations.

Primus help the bot in his vision.

He has extremely high expectations for this bot

Even gives them a list of requirements to even be considered a candidate.

Will this trigger a fight between the two?

Absolutely

Will it be pretty?

Most likely no

Magnus may loosen up a bit with the rules of dating, but he is 110% doing a background check on the bots history during the war and see if they have any charges against them.

(Still haven't thought of a pairing for her yet)

Ophelia

Poor Steve…

Good news for Steve…

He doesn’t have to deal with Megatron, already being a saint compared to the former war lord.

Bad news for Steve…

He has to deal with more than one meet and greet.

Optimus had received a message from Micronus Prime that his niece had a Conjunx one day during training.

Optimus wants to know who it is.

He is given a bit of time off his training to see what Ophelia and her Conjunx.

Ophelia and Steve are fixing things in their new home.

Steve is trying to hang something on top of the door frame from a stool.

Ophelia is looking through some of the gifts that they received from the bonding ceremony.

“Steve, lets take a break and finish in a bit.”--Ophelia

“Hold on sweet sparks, I almost… got… it—AAHH!”--Steve

BANG!

Optimus winces a bit at the sound.

Steve had fallen over and was now laying on his back groaning.

Ophelia leaps up from her place and runs over to her fallen Conjunx.

“Steve!”--Ophelia

She carefully places his helm on her lap.

He looks up at his beautiful Conjunx, the light hitting behind her helm creating a halo effect.

“Stevie you okay?”--Ophelia

“I’m fine Sweet Spark.”--Steve

“Hmm, and what were you trying to hang on the door frame anyway?”--Ophelia

Steve holds a metal looking plant above their helms.

“Surprise?”--Steve

Ophelia looks at the plant and softly gasps.

“Is that metal mistletoe?”--Ophelia

“Yep, made it myself. Figured a bit of Earth in the place wouldn’t be too bad.”--Steve

Ophelia leans and presses her helm on his.

“How did I get so lucky?”--Ophelia

“You get lucky? How did I get lucky?”--Steve

They both laugh.

Optimus approves.

When Optimus does come back and meets the pair, he does give his approval to the pair.

Poor Steve was going to pass out.

But that also brings Ratchet into the picture.

As said with Lithia, he is a bit more hesitant in seeing the bot, especially since Steve was a Con.

But with some good words in from Optimus and Bumblebee, Ratchet does give Steve a chance.

He was sold when he saw the pair helping each other patch up and working together to help the others while knowing their limits.

“Steve, you move from that berth and I will wield you to the counter.”--Ophelia

“Is that a promise?”--Steve

Ophelia with the wielding torch in servo with an optic raised.

Steve shrinks a bit at his Conjunx.

“Staying on the berth… if you join me?”--Steve

“When I finish looking over the main frame and the--”—Ophelia

Steve groans and dramatically drapes his arm over his optics.

“The berth is so lonely without you here! How could you abandon your Conjunx here in solitude!”—Steve

He peaks to see if his performance had worked.

Ophelia smiles and joins Steve in the berth.

Is there a slight threat of burying him in a mound of wrenches.

No one can prove it.

Bonus!

MTMTE Megatron lands in the scrapyard and nearly starts a riot/panic.

The worst time for Bee and Steve to be out on patrol, luckily Ophelia is there to explain her father’s counterpart to the team.

Ophelia is in much better spirits from the last time he saw her.

Then comes the topic of her personal life in which Ophelia proudly tells him that she has a Conjunx named Steve.

Little record scratch noise is coming from inside MTMTE Megatron’s helm.

That’s the moment when Steve arrives with Bee and nearly faints seeing a much more robust and taller Megatron.

Steve spots Ophelia standing way too close to Megatron.

“Ophelia!”--Steve

Steve races over and grabs Ophelia pushing her behind him reading his weapon at the larger mech.

“I don’t know how you came back Megatron, but there is no way you’re getting Ophelia back. OVER MY OFFLINE CORPSE!”--Steve

Ophelia pushes down the urge to hug Steve for his stupid bravery and gets in between him and Megatron, who has finally recognized that this drone was Ophelia’s Conjunx.

“Steve, Stevie this isn’t our Megatron. This is the good Megatron that I was telling you about.”--Ophelia

Steve slowly puts his weapon down, but not away.

“You mean the one that surrendered and—”--Steve

“The giant ship, yes. That’s him. Umm, Megatron, this is Steve, my Conjunx.”--Ophelia

Megatron smiles a bit and extends his servo.

“Steve.”--Megatron

Steve carefully shakes his servo.

“Megatron. I, umm, forgive me for the introduction—”--Steve

“No need for that. I am glad my daughter has a Conjunx who will fight and protect her with his spark.”--Megatron

With more interactions with the couple, Megatron can safely say that his daughter has a good Conjunx.

Steve is glad that there is at least one good Megatron that loves Ophelia like a father should.

When Megatron does leave, he makes sure to wish the couple the best (and a tiny threat to Steve about breaking Ophelia’s spark, which was backed up with Steve saying he would let him hurt him if that happened).

Bonus! Bonus!

“Hey Megs! How was the trip?”--Rodimus

Megatron huffs a bit at Rodimus’s comment.

“It certainly was one to remember.”--Megatron

“Did you get time with Ophelia?”--Rodimus

“Yes.”--Megatron

“And? How is the little one doing?”--Rodimus

Megatron smiles a bit.

“She has a Conjunx now.”--Megatron

Everybot jumps in shock when they hear the yelling over the intercom.

“OPHELIA HAS A CONJUNX!?”--Rodimus

Like when Ophelia and Maxima came to Lithia's universe and when they got to their own universes they talk about each other?

Kinda like Maxima talks about Lithia to everyone, but about Ophelia only to Optimus and Rachet

And Ophelia doing the same

In a nutshell...

Now normally I keep the Buddy's interactions in other universes separate, but for this one lets assume that this is the same version of the Lost Light that encountered Ophelia.

If Lithia ever mentioned the name, everyone's helms would have turned.

They know that minibot!

Megatron becomes a bit more invested in what Lithia has to say, even asking if she knows how she is doing.

Lithia tries her best to talk all about Ophelia with them and answer some questions along the way.

Most of the bots are happy to hear that Ophelia is doing better.

Meeting Nightlight overall...

The kids are surprised to hear that Ratchet has a Conjunx that is a detective, especially the versions from the MTMTE universe. Where's Drift?!

Apollonis is the most hesitant to get close to this new bot.

Kid Dratchet is a close second.

Lithia just jumps at the chance of meeting a new bot.

Nightlight herself is bit shocked to see Ratchet have kids, whether with a version of herself or not. she is just glad her Conjunx has a family out there.

Living with Nightlight...

Specifically MTMTE

Nightlight becomes an important and bold role for the kids from the first time meeting her. Whether that was before, during or after the war. She knows how to leave a lasting impression.

One minute the kids are without much of a mother figure, the next Nightlight is punching a bot in the face because they said that the kids weren't really hers.

Drift and Ratchet have to stop her before she makes the murder look like an accident.
