There's a thought I've had

Supposedly Lancers fight for Union, well on the most base idea of a Lancer. Hell the place our thoughts go toare union funded and Albatross.

Sure KTB has theirs and all the companies got their own special flavor... But then you start thinking. Why the hell does Union use em.

Why do Lancers get sent to "bring peace" but then us mercs and those at MSMC get looked at like the scum of the stars for doing the same kind of shit. The same number of people die. The same amount of mana changes hands.

How many times have teams of Lancers done more harm than good?

When you're with one of the Merc companies you know what you're getting into...

But how many bodies coat the road to utopia?

I love how messy the Omninet is. Like you could ask companies directly for advice or something but then youve got freelancers, albatross, random pilots and more all getting involved.

That's not even mentioning all the NHPs running around, the endless number of random pilots who aren't fully really freelancers.

Oh and all the KTB folks all yelling at each other like estranged family members at the reunion.

There's an MSMC merc in our Lancer group and for whatever reason the GM requested a portrait of her assigned lawyer.

We're all very wary of this request.

I have also attached some omni files that are guides on how best to utilize mechanized chassis for disaster relief, I hope they may be of use.

I am being deployed for a disaster relief sortie. A nearby planet experiencing massive tsunamis after its mostly hollow moon collapsed in on itself. I was not aware MSMC answered those sorts of requests but it is not a bad surprise. Additionally, that means I have formally been given a rank. My designation is now MSMC-835-7.

+ HELLO, AGAIN! After recent events and a long-overdue transfer, I am proud to announce that I am no-longer working with IPS-N; As of posting, I've officially become the youngest recruit of MSMC's 148th detachment, "Aftermarket Brokers"! My current position is mostly field testing and prototype development, but my specialization remains the same.

+ I am a biomedical engineer studying prosthesis, pilot accomodations, and cybernetic/subaltern maintenance. Over the months of running this Omninet account, I've answered dozens of questions about implant upkeep, cybernetic design, mech repair, and more- I won't pretend to be an expert on anything, but my cybernetic arms are my own design, as are the modifications to my VLAD, "GRAE". For now, most of my experience comes from my time studying on Carina, or operating under IPS-N contract- + Now that I can choose what I want to do, I hardly know what to do with myself--

I've read on your homepage that the entry fee can be lowered or waved for candidates with previous relevant experience.

How can I estimate the value of my combat experience from getting into regular fights with pirates and engineering experience from having kept my hab operational for the last 30 years?

Sounds like just the kind of rag tag ingenuity we need here at MSMC. Hell, 30 years? Shame we haven't picked you up already.
