Hey there Mr. Seagull, I’ll come and visit soon

I’ve got someone for you to meet,

He’s really made my heart bloom

It’s been quite a few months now,

I think it’s time you met—

And I know exactly how

We’ll walk across my old path,

Well stop for lunch halfway,

I hope he understands, even just a half

How much you had meant to me

All those months ago,

And how much you had helped me

When I was so alone

I'm sorry about that, I am

I'll be back for christmas, though

And together we can go on the lamb

They're looking for me, I know

And I've asked your advice before

But please just once more show me how

To get up off the floor?

That's right, I'm back down here

again

I've missed our talks, but not their cause

So I promise to you that when

I'm happy I'll return

To you, and our walks

I hope you understand why I left

Will I taste my own salty tears--

When I dive into the tumbling surf?

Tell me, will mother nature grant me her turf?

I Miss You

I miss you Mr. Seagull,

But you’re far away from here.

I’m still trying to be happy,

But i wish i could disappear.

I thought this was what i wanted,

To be out in the world, to be free

But I’m losing myself again—

I don’t know what it is to be me.

Man’s while i miss you, I do

I just hate going ‘back home’ ,

That’s not where I belong any more

Even there, I feel so alone.

Could I have some advice?
