Continuing on one of my previous posts talking about what the Bullworth staff would be like when they were younger and what sort of cliques do they'd fit into

ik I didn't really say much about Galloway, and there might be more to say about him, but I'm unsure what. Tried writing some stuff for Edna and Mr Hattrick, but there wasn't much to say about them, so might just turn it into another follow-up post instead

Mr Galloway

Galloway would have definitely been a nerd. No questions asked. He'd constantly reference literature and maybe watch stage adaptations of plays performed by the drama club. He might've tried to write a novel at some point. Even though he says his alcoholism was a response to the stress Mr Hattrick placed him under, I feel like Galloway had his first drink at a rather young age ,like when he was 15 or younger, which he developed an addiction to in his adult life.

Ms. Philips

Ms. Philips, growing up, always had an interest in art. If there ever was an 'art kids' clique, she'd definitely be a member. She might’ve dabbled in sculptures, film-making etc, maybe even experimental performance art by helping out with her friends’ projects, whether it were directed related to painting or not, like giving input on colour palettes, helping paint backdrops for the sets of plays, acting in a minor role in a friend’s film, and generally offering moral support. I get the feeling that when she was younger, her artistic expression was a lot 'weirder' and less focused? the only art piece we see her make is the banana, and I feel like her art when she was younger was 'weirder', to the extent that if she wasn't as pretty, the rest of the students at her school would've thought of her as weird. 

Alternatively, if there wasn't a clique of like-minded artists, she could have rejected the clique system at her school entirely, choosing instead to remain a non-clique. Although dialogue throughout the game suggests that she's physically desired by a lot of people, for some reason I like picturing her as being kind of like Beatrice or Zoe when she was younger? like, although she's attractive, she's socially outcasted by most of the student body because of her unapologetic strangeness. One of the quotes 'I keep hoping that the kids will rebel against conformity but it never lasts' does imply that she does view herself as non-conformist, which might be partly why she's more willing to give Jimmy a chance, despite the rest of the staff seeming either apathetic towards him or actively dislike him. idk but I like picturing Ms. Philips has having a concealed 'troubled' side or that her emotional maturity haven arisen by previously overcoming personal issues.

Expanding on the idea that she experienced social exclusion and ostracization because of her strangeness, it's possible that it led her to intentionally doubling down on her 'weirdness' to purposefully further distance herself, in order to feel a sense of control in the situation, so she could feel like her isolation was a personal decision and not an external circumstance forced upon her, forming her identity as 'an outsider' and likely taking pride in it. To her more juvenile mind, she might've taken it as a sign that she was a 'true artist' ,which might be an aspect of herself that she still relates to, to an extent, as she says 'it's important for the artist to position herself as autonomous, outside critique' and 'art is about being an artist, not creating art objects'

However, her doubling down likely just ended up being a protective mask, even if it was just an exaggerated version of herself, ultimately reached a point where she craved to be authentic and vulnerable. So I'm guessing after graduating from highschool, she mellowed out a lot, but her experiences may still have lingering on her psyche. I think I was kind of reaching with this one but idk

I'm not sure he anyone knew about this, but the voice actor, Robert Stanton, voices two characters in Manhunt and Bully.

In Manhunt, it’s one of The Smiley’s, specifically the one obsessed with getting his shoes back.

In Bully, it's Mr. Galloway.

And I remember how in the mission Galloway Away, when Jimmy visits Mr. Galloway in Happy Volts he made a specific comment.

“Go away! I don't want to have another group therapy session with those people! If I have to pretend to be someone’s mother one more time! I’ll...”

I feel like this is a reference to the voice actor’s portrayal of one of The Smiley's members in Manhunt as that character makes frequent comments about apologizing to his mother.

I'm usually not one for making fandom ocs unless that oc is for a game where the mc is fully customizeable but honestly, the world and setting in bully is such an oc-able thing I had to do it. Also some of the other bully oc creators seem to be having fun and I wanna get in on that. Maybe I'm getting my hopes up but if you have a bully oc and you like my guy I would love to talk and maybe draw them together. 👀 👀

Some more fun facts

His real name is Simon but pretty much everyone knows him as Crow, even most of the teachers.

Dr. Crabblesnitch is the only one who only ever calls him Simon.

He doesn't even remember where the nickname came from exactly but it's just descriptive of his general nature.

He's a high school hustler (see tvtropes.org for more). He sells alcohol and cigarettes he smuggles on to school grounds to some of the older kids. He also deals with forged signatures and report cards and stolen test answers.

And for the right price you can also place a "special order" where he smuggles something specific for you.

Other than drugs.

His prices are usually pretty inconsisent and depend a lot on his mood and current financial situation.

He also charges rich students more and poor students less.

He's been asked to join the greasers but he deliberately avoids joining cliques because he doesn't want to get involved in the hierarchy. Says he's anti-system and wants to firmly stay outside of it.

He sells Mr. Galloway booze when he runs out of his stash during school hours and can't go to the store.

His A on english is genuine but his A+ might just be Mr. Galloway giving him some bonus points for their business dealings together.

Hates preppies with a passion. Will do business with them but the price will be high and he will be annoying about it.

Earnest is the only student he has completely banned from his little side business. He did deal him some dirty magazines at one point but then the guy asked him to do a panty raid one too many times.

Smokes like a chimney.

Generally likes Jimmy, he thinks they're alike because they both do stuff for people.

He also approves of Jimmy doing stuff for people out of kidness, but he also thinks that he should capitalize on it more. Especially when it comes to doing stuff for the preppies.

His mom used to be a maid for the Harringtons. Derby sometimes makes fun of him for it.

Gets called a f*ggot often but his response is always "that's mr. f*ggot to you"

Mr Galloway Headcanons???

Mr. Galloway is actually a very successful author. Most of his books are written under a different pen name though.

His favorite genres to write are mystery and horror. Sometimes being drunk as hell helps him come up with really good ideas.

He doesn’t even remember writing some of his books as a result of his alcoholism.

Mr. Galloway’s alcohol addiction really picked up after the passing of his wife. The stress from Hattrick at work only worsened it.

Mr. Galloway and his wife were married for over thirteen years. Her cause of death was bacterial meningitis.

Mr. Galloway actually went to and graduated from Bullworth when he was younger. In his younger years Galloway could be described as a bright young man whose social awkwardness gave him some charm.

He is VERY adamant about having his students understand the material they read in his class. One of his biggest fears is illiterate people.

I once read a fanfic where someone said he was a bird person and I can’t see him owning anything but an African Grey parrot.

The Parrot is named Harlan and Galloway used to take Harlan with him to work during the school day but the kids wouldn’t stop teaching the bird cuss words so he had to stop doing that.

Ms. Phillips is one of the reasons Mr. Galloway has been able to slowly accept and healthily cope with the death of his wife.

Before he and Ms. Phillips started to date she and Mr. Galloway were best friends and would talk mad shit about Hattrick and Dr. Crabblesnitch.

They still talk mad shit about them.

Mr. Galloway listens to Tom Gurney’s conspiracy theories and rants and helps him build off of them occasionally.

Mr. Galloway fully believes Dr. Slawter has killed somebody before and that Mr. Luntz helped him hide the body.

He was friends with Daniel Lamb. Galloway wonders what happened to him after they parted ways.

Sometimes Galloway just shows up with a funny hat on.

He goes all out during spirit week and gets DOWN at school dances. Galloway can break dance.

All of the antagonists in his books have at least ONE thing in common with Mr. Hattrick.

Both he and Ms. Philips will pull female students out of gym so that they are not left with Coach Burton.
