Sonic the Hedgehog 3 out in Theaters

A blue blur dashes by and interacts with the crowd.

"Hey there, everybody! I'm Sonic. I'm sure you know the name by now." The blue hedgehog greeted as Tails and Knuckles appear along with him.

"With Tails..." The yellow fox spoke. "And Knuckles." The red echidna spoke to the crowd. "I suppose you have told them, Sonic?"

"Everybody, I hope you are excited as we are that our new adventure and movie is out today." Sonic spoke. "That's right. Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the movie, not the game is out in theaters." Tails said. "We have games based on our adventures?" Knuckles asked.

"Err, yeah. Anyway, this movie will be the best one. Especially for the Year of Shadow when we take on... this guy." Sonic said pointing to his rival, Shadow the Hedgehog. "Aren't you excited, bud?"

"Ecstatic." Shadow said in an unamused tone, as he couldn't stand Sonic being around him. "Right, right. Can't stand me." Sonic said backing off. "So, get yourself some tickets for the movie..." Sonic said to the audience. "Enjoy the movie!" Tails added. "And have a Merry Christmas." Knuckles spoke.

My bf told me they just announced Shdow's VA for the Sonic movies and I asked him not to tell me bc the guessing game we played was legit a lot of fun and I was able to gather that:

The VA was a guy (ofc lol but I know women will still voice guys in certain situations)

Said VA had a beard

Mostly well known as an actor in a pre-2000s trilogy and post-2000s trilogy

Someone I talk about a fair amount bc I like him as an actor and person

Said trilogies are both quite influential and cult classics

The post-2000s trilogy had James Bond/Misson Impossible vibes

And even with those facts it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out it was fucking Keanu LMAO
