I have to say this but Tom Hardy Venom's idea of a romantic date would be YouTube and chill. The symbiote chooses the more unhinged videos like Lythero i.e YouTubers being chaotic gremlins at videogames. Eddie just lets him despite both having no clue about most of the characters or even the games.

It's dumb, stupid and hilarious especially if there's custom animations to go with the gameplay. Also Venom would totally play Lethal Company or any other online multiplayer games just to be a complete gremlin. He cannot troll innocents in real life so this is the next best thing.

*Comic Spiderman is just Spiderman since there's no Tom Hardy equivalent and I ain't counting Tom Holland. Post that started this is here.*

Both versions gave each other their respective nicknames. Comic because his life is like one giant comic book. V since he's more mature but also more complicated. MoVee from how involved he is with Earth media, particularly films. Tom just looks like a Tom(much to his confused annoyance since that all three teamed up on him about it.)

Both have compared their experiences and seen each other's respective worlds a few times. Comic joked about Tom's side being a perfect vacation spot for a honeymoon with his Other since there aren't a lot of superheroes/villains running about. His opposite is surprised those two can even catch a small break in their own universe from all that insanity.

Tom and Comic had switched symbiotes on accident once. You can blame the latter's enemies, both splitting up to save their Other, then finally a mix up of symbiote containers for this to happen. The two Venoms play Couple's Councillor for the opposite Eddie.

V meets MoVee's chickens Sonny and Cher. Or how the parakeet comment from Comic evolves into the discussion of therapy pets. Spiderman is fucking confused when he comes home to a hen house in the living room. He finds a note that explains his frenemy got chickens(Scratch and Grounder) and he has to babysit them should shit seriously hits the fan for the Lethal Protector.

Supers in general see Tom as a wet cat compared to their Eddie Brock. Not the same can be said about MoVee who gives everyone war flashbacks to the Lethal Protector's more... lethal days. It isn't a surprise if there are comments revolving around purifying this Venom too.

Comic and V give The Last Dance a massive middle finger. No one is separating this duo if they can say anything about it. A situation that calls for mutual symbiote swaps and more chances for both Venoms to play wingman.

Tom verbally obliterates Spiderman. Comic knew he had it coming for his less stellar views on symbiotes and was dumb enough to mention around his counterpart. Spiderman has some serious thinking to do afterwards.

*For clarification, in the comics the Venom Symbiote was essentially stranded on Earth. Symbiotes can be corrupted should their hosts be overly violent or insane as they take on traits from who they bond with. Like what had happened with Carnage when bonding to Cletus.

An occurrence that happens to V very often in the comics. It got so bad to the point he escapes an especially awful host as he didn't want to be a monster anymore. He did get corrupted but is later cleansed of the madness thanks to the Klyntar Hive.

The symbiote had nobody to turn on Earth to so he was alone and scared before bonding with Peter. Like with Tom Hardy's iteration, a misunderstanding fueled by the Fantastic Four's Reed Richard/Mr. Fantastic had Spiderman reject the symbiote.

Although unlike Tom, he believes it to be a monster. Not a scared and alone soul in a foreign toxic world. V wasn't in the right either since he did take over Peter's body at night to brutally beat up criminals but that warranted a discussion than this outcome.

The symbiote finds Eddie who had lost his job thanks to Spiderman unintentionally publicly humiliating him for the Sin-Eater scandal. Both become Venom and thus begins their age long clash with the Web Slinger. Things mellow out between them to the point where the two sides are now frenemies. It was also this incident that made V be obsessed with Spiderman since he got to feel what a heroic host is like.

This is a simplified version of the comics' events from my perspective so take it with a grain of salt. I suggest anyone interested in reading the comics to find someone more knowledgeable about it than me. Venom is a pretty complex character after all so it's best to hear more from the experts.

If you want a great example of the Lethal Protector, then Midnight Suns videogame would do it for those who have been dragged in by the movies. This might be the last time we see Tom Hardy Venom on screen so I just wanna say, from the bottom of my monster fucker heart, it has been an absolute pleasure to go through this series with you all these last 6 years.
