WHYYYY do we do workouts we haaaaaate?!โ € โ € Ok I understand if youโ€™re brand new to working out and everything feels hard for a while, but when you keep working out and hate every session??? Nonsense. Donโ€™t be silly.โ € โ € If youโ€™re not looking forward to most of your workouts, you need a change. Here are a bunch of ways to switch it up:โ € โ € - Try a lighter workout for a while. Give your body and brain a chance to recover. (Hint: you prob donโ€™t need this if you dread how boring your workouts are going to be)โ € โ € - Try a more challenging workout. Up the reps, speed, distance or time spent doing it. (Hint: you donโ€™t need this if you dread how hard your workout is gonna be)โ € โ € - Just switch the method of movement youโ€™re doing. (Hint: online workout videos are a great option to try something new! Try belly dancing or power yoga or animal flow!)โ € โ € - Only 1 method available right now? Chop it up! (Hint: Switching from your standard run to fartleks (hehehe Iโ€™m 5) can be enough to jazz things up again. Same with splicing in some cardio bursts to your default lifting routine!)โ € โ € Movement is meant to be fun. Your body actually benefits from the different kinds of challenges that switching it up provides. Get pumped again (pun fully intended) - do something different!
