Sorry but did someone say ISWM × Mouthwashing crossover? >:]

Mouthwashing got me in a bit of a chokehold rn, ans what do i do when i'm in new fandom chokeholds? Think of how it overalaps with my other fandoms yeah that's normal :]

But for real i cannot be the only one seeing the parallels bettween ISWM and Mouthwashing: Both take place in space, deal with the themes of isolation/insanity, making the wrong choices when you think it's right, having a hero/villain complex, just to name a few. So figured i'd illustrate that here with redrawing one of the Mouthwashing scenes with Engineer!Mark and The Captain instead, replacing Jimmy and Curly! :D

BY THE WAY- I am NOT saying that Mark is as bad as Jimmy is, even if i do see some overlap in their characters, mainly wanting to remain the noble hero in it all, and making terrible choices but believing it to be right. The difference between them though is that Mark genuinly thought he was doing the right thing, but just didn't have enough true knowledge of the situation to realize he was wrong, and when he does, he is genuinely crushed and feels regret and guilt for what he did, wanting to truly right the wrong, wanting to take responsibility, by following someone else who knows better (The Captain) even if his trust in them was shaken. Jimmy is...not. He knows the bigger picture, but still makes choices just for his own benefit, constantly hides behind the hero persona even when it's clear he's not, "knocks down" people he believes are/were higher then him rather than following along, never truly takes responsibility and....let's face it done worse crimes then Mark will ever do- Just wanted to clear that up :]

Also can you tell i've been thinking bout Mouthwashing a lot with that little character analysis i am very normal :]

But uh one more thing is that i am really damn proud of this piece?? Like- The posing took me minute but think i got it across well, was fun drawing my Canon Captain design again since it's been a while, and hOLY SHIT I DUNNO HOW BUT I LOCKED THE FUCK IN FOR THOSE FLAME EFFECTS H O W -

But yeah uh anywahs that's all, may do some further pieces in the future, mayhaps with the Invincible II Crew interacting with the Tulpar Crew...maybe....but till then if you excuse me *chugs some mouthwash*

Ey there! Do you like Markiplier? Specifically In Space with Markiplier? And do you like Mouthwashing? Ever thought of a crossover between the two? Well, think no more since I HAVE WRITTEN THAT EXACT THING!! >:DD Here's the synopsis:

Set a year after the Invincible successfully made it through their trip, the Captain and their crew have been doing well in setting up a new colony for themselves, but there's still plenty of work to do. Maybe even more so than expected, since during a (what was supposed to be) short supplies run, they suddenly get alerted of a distress signal from a freighter ship called "Tulpar". They decide to investigate, always willing to help those in need, but...why does this feel a little wrong, Captain?

So yeah! I actually really do enjoy writing, used to do it a TON when I was younger, but recently...dunno guess I kinda lost the motivation to write, least publicly. I do still write, mainly for RP's and personal gifts to friends, but just never found the right opportunity to write something publically....until n o w >:]]

I have a l o t of ideas for this lil AU, lot of things that'll make Markiplier and (hopefully) Mouthwashing fans will like! And tho I got bout 3-4 chapters ready to go rn, it'll prolly take me a while to post consistently due to college/life stuff, and I'm still getting used to AO3 formatting, but still...I think you guys are really gonna like it >:]

I finally got around to watching Markiplier's Halloween stream (in late November, but it's whatever)

So now I can finally get into the Mouthwashing fandom!

Only problem....

I can never read Daisuke's name right again....
