Kluane National Park in Canada covers almost 9,000 square miles of rugged terrain and includes the second highest peak in North America called Mount Logan 🏔 which stands just 600 feet shorter than the famous Denali and holds the record for the largest non-volcanic mountain by base area on Earth! The park stretches all the way to the Alaskan border that it shares with Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. It is a part of the larger Kluane / Wrangell–St. Elias / Glacier Bay / Tatshenshini-Alsek UNESCO World Heritage Site that encompasses 4 national & provincial parks and protects over 24 million acres of American and Canadian lands and the world's largest non-polar ice fields.⠀ ⠀ 📽 Go North Episode 18, link in bio!⠀ ⠀ #gonorth #kluane #nationalpark #unesco #heritagesite #mountlogan #kluanenationalpark #truckcamper #truckcamperlife #livelancelife #sponsored #visitcanada #rvlife #homeonwheels #rvtravel #roadtrip #epicroadtrip #alaskabound #rvingtoalaska #fallcolors #mountains #welivetoexplore #exploretocreate #livetravelchannel (at Kluane / Wrangell–St. Elias / Glacier Bay / Tatshenshini-Alsek) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7rztJKh3MV/?igshid=f135iizvfqet

2015/9/12-14 - Mount Logan / 洛根山
Perhaps the loneliest approach on a solo climb. The 16-mile approach into Thunder Basin felt extra long when views were scarce. Two more miles late, just before it got completely dark, found a spot to camp at 6,000′, half a mile north of Park Creek Pass. Clear night sky with slight light pollution, so I managed to get some Milky Way as well as star trails photos from northeast side (Thunder…

Giving the landscape ratio a try with one of my favorite shots from our glacier landing the other day at Kluane National Park. We stepped out of our little plane into winter and onto a glacier 1 km thick. Behind us, #MountLogan, the tallest peak in Canada at 19,551ft. It is also one of the most deadly. To put it mildly, it was unforgettable. - Photo: @namkcaps #exploreyukon #UnforgettableYukon #humanpoweredadventures (at Kluane National Park and Reserve)

I took RAZR ride to the summit of Mount Logan this evening working on a project. At first we were immersed in the clouds, but momentarily they broke and a glorious stream of light pierced them visually igniting ground as if it were on fire. What a spectacular sight! I like to think that God is the great painter of such inspiring scenes, and I am grateful that he has given me eyes to see. Thanks Mont Didericksen for the cool ride. #sunset #clouds #mountlogan (at Mount Logan Peak)
