Looking at mech chassis, as you do. Amber Phantom at the time and I think to myself about mounting a Superheavy on it. Don't ask why, I'm allowed to make bad choices.
So I check the superheavy mounting core power to remind myself how it works, and quickly go "Oh right, you can't have three mounts already". But then it got me thinking about other chassis with three non-Heavy weapon mounts.
The Tokugawa is another chassis that is forever barred from the glory of Superheavy Barrages. The Gorgon another.
But all of the Size 0.5 chassis? None of them are disqualified from using their few mounts as superheavy bracing. It's a terrible idea on most, but a legal modification to make.
It's a rules-legal setup and reasonable balancing decision... but it's just so wrong that a Size 0.5 Dusk Wing can haul around and fly with a Leviathan Heavy Assault Cannon and my giant queen Size 2 Gorgon is far too frail to ever lift even a Heavy Machine Gun.
Who teaches them to find places to scratch to keep their claws sharp? I can see nightmare getting the itch to rake his claws on the edge of the masonry. A full body stretch, nice and bendy. The claw tips screeching against the old stone in just a satisfying way. Yeeess. This is his. Mmm. Only to blink and be shocked he did that?? (Someone probably saw him do it, just his luck)
Training montages, and they try to use over sized toys like horse balls or something to get the twins some practice with using their limbs. If playing and tumbling around works for kittens and puppies to learn how to be graceful, then it should work for them! Not that Nightmare will be thrilled with that idea. He does not fetch. Dream probably tries.
Oh Reaper, 100%. After the Gang makes so much fun of Noots for ruining so much of their furniture. Reaper gets him to take advantage of the dark forest he has surrounding the castle. Thems some good trees. Try that on your claws, it’ll make em feel even better than plush couches and pillows that make Dream cry—
… They probably also invest in giant scratching posts to put around the castle, but only a few. Night isn’t that desperate.
The toys idea is also KILLER. I can totally see them using that to help them get more agile and learn to maneuver on their dragon feet. Night doesn’t do much of it aside from maybe tug-a-war (to knock his opponent on their asses) and very select chewable items.
Dream, however, tries almost all of them, except for the ones he knows are just for the others’ amusement (no he will NOT be playing with a giant ball of yarn, screw you guys). He likes the big ball and toys on a string the most!
i should get an award or something for the absolute bonkers setup of my TV and my multiple game consoles all precariously balanced on my dresser, which is inside my closet.
i’m soooo ridiculous bc one of my employers who is somewhat of a mentor and inspirational figure in my life and only wants the best for me and my mental health was like is this doable within a week and i was like Yes! knowing well that it simply was not. and now i am working myself to the bone and FOR WHO ! ? anyway. hello bloggers
Currently still having to rest my hand from the artparty-notetaking combo strain injury, but a guildie has me buzzing in place wanting to play eso again
i sank a 4" steel tube to hang it on to avoid potentially post sag as the gate is 12+' and about 170 pounds, and i didn't want to have to support the other end because eventually there will probably be a remote opener.
i'll be moving our front driveway gate farther down the driveway and buulding a new one to match the new fence height because m'lady roberta la chat (neé bobcat) occasionally hops over the current one; the current front gate has a lousy slow opener and that will be replaced and the old one put on this gate
seeing this metal pole in the sun makes me want to paint it a darker tan to match the other wood posts...
so like despite how tiny our house is and the fact that it's basically all one room with just a partition between the living room and bedroom, the bedroom gets so unbelievably hot at night during the summer. we're talking about switching the two rooms during the summer because it would help save on the cost of running fans because we cannot sleep unless it's cold. but oh my god the idea of sleeping next to the kitchen...
