Online Premiere and Artist Talk Moth Transmissions is a collaborative work between @sefullerphoto (Visual Artist), Julia Taffe (Artistic Director of @aeriosadance )and @keri_latimer (Sound Artist) Vertical dance with experimental digital video practice and an artificially rendered soundscape. Two giant moth figures perform in Prairie and Coastal ecosystems, attempting to communicate across time and space through choreographed movements and sound. A hyperreal colour washes over the landscape illuminating both an insect perspective and a futuristic post-apocalyptic environment. You are invited! Pleas join us TODAY for the Aeriosa Dance Society Annual General Meeting Wednesday June 9th at 6pm PDT on Zoom.  
It's that time of year when we elect new board members and present our annual financials. It's important for us to check in with our community and a great way for you to show us your support.

Returning and new members can RSVP for the AGM and pay the $5 membership fee in advance at aeriosa.com  It would be so wonderful to have a large roll call signed in at the top of the meeting at 6pm, so we can give our public funders a glimpse of the broad community support that fuels our work! Of course on Zoom you can always meet with cameras off, which is great because it saves precious energy and also means you can multi-task in your lounge wear. This will be a smooth fast business meeting about 30 minutes long.  At the end, we are going to host the second public showing of Moth Transmissions, a 12 minute experimental short video collaboration by visual artist & filmmaker Sarah Fuller, composer Keri Latimer and choreographer Julia Taffe. Moth Transmissions imagines the perspectives of two moths searching out connections in our (and their) beautiful, threatened world.
