I've gotten into these silly dudes again and drawing them in this au is so much fun lol

I've decided to actually do that master post with a lot of designs I mentioned like two posts ago, but it's a few too many to put in one post so I'll do it in parts,

Starting with the Main crew as their designs did change slightly and I've improved (Tom and tords are composed the same cuz I do like the shadow to hint at their demon forms)

Their monster types haven't changed one bit but for any new peeps:

Edd: Faun/Avian Hybrid, Its his world so he is allowed to be a funky dude.

Tom and Tord: Both of them are Demons of different types, Tom is a one-eyed Goat formed demon and Tom is a six-eyed Sheep formed Demon. (I thought it would be funny and that it played into their "Rivalry" sometimes shown in canon lol)

Matt: Vampire/Bat shifter, I actually Included his Bat form this time :]

Pretty self explanatory, edd continued having the powers he got from PowerEdd but in full effect and he decides to be a super hero. But he’s very irresponsible with his powers and ends up becoming more of an anti-hero/villain type guy. He’s very very petty. He also gets arrested one time, that was fun

tom & matt wtufuture designs ^_^

some of my headcanons and stuff about them under the cut !!

tom and matt work as red leader's bodyguards and secretaries (red leader refers to tom as his 'right eye' and matt as his 'right arm'). they hardly engage in physical combat but are allowed to use violence when the situation calls. red leader also sends them to deal with missions considered 'personal' (situations that involve edd).

when in formal settings, red leader refers to them as thomas and matthew, while they refer to him as red leader/sir. they refer to each other as tom, matt and tord when behind closed doors there is NO mind control whatsoever. they joined the red army out of their own will. this does not mean tord won't ever manipulate or take advantage of them in some way. they are aware that tord asked them to join the red army out of personal interest

tom's visor is not removable. it is directly wired into his brain so he can see it displays his emotions through channeling brain waves. when the visor is blank/has no display, it usually means he is emotionless, unconscious or channeling an emotion that the visor is unable to read.

red leader is conducting research on tom's monster form. tom has agreed to cooperate in the research with the promise of helping him understand and control his monster form (he is aware that what red leader really wants is to make him into a weapon)

matt's vampirism cannot be used a weapon because the vampire curse has been long removed from his body and his powers have mostly weakened. however, they are looking into a way to make use of it somehow

in a general sense, tom and matt's relationship with red leader is friendly, as he is working on making amends with them (if he wants them to cooperate with him, he would like to maintain good relations with them) even though they haven't fully forgiven him for what he's done. but there is the small presence of a power dynamic that they are not comfortable with. their arc is about the eventual growth from this dynamic from one where tom and matt can perceive tord as their equal once again

their secondary nationalities were mostly whatever came to mind, except tord. Tom and tord are both ftm but have completely diff upbringings regarding that, for tord i hc him to have estonian family side cuz from my own trans experience of having estonian parents were they were mostly chill abt it albeit confused (benefit of estonia being mostly non religious). additionally, tord comes from a wealthy family who were super supportive of him, while tom had to work hard throughout his youth to moveout and transition. spoiled brat tord

some more hcssss... tord and tom are only childs, matt i think would have a really older sister or something, and edd has a big family. matt, tom and edds family dynamics i very highkey just took @/6kuros interpretations in my mind palace lol. Edd having many siblings and being the odd one of his family, tom had really nice parents when he was young but they died - eventually he ended up with nasty foster parents whom were not supportive of him being trans + made him cope with alcohol at young age. ty kuros for being so smart.

some more misc hcs is that i dont have tord be the red leader, instead he works for the red army as an engineer building weapons. this thing below is a supercut on my version of tomtord, but it also explains more abt his involvement of the red army and why he joined

their hands too cuz why not
