For years, you were locked away in a tower. The world seemed bleak up in that lonely room. You longed for someone to save you. Each day would tick by and you would find yourself even lonelier than the last. Never would you feel love. Never would you know the way it felt to belong to someone. Even a friend would make you happy.

One day, you noticed something flying in the distance. You went to your window, looking out at the dragon that was flying. You began to imagine what it would be like to ride on the back of this beautiful golden dragon. It got closer to you, until you finally could see just how ginormous it was. Your eyes widened when the face of this dragon got close to your window.

“Mortal,” he groans. “Are you alone in this tower?” 

You reach out and touch his snout. “I am. I am alone. You are the first to speak to me in almost  a decade.”

And from then on, the dragon either took pity on you or actually liked you enough to keep coming to see you. Every time he came to see you, the more you grew attached. He was a beautiful creature. Someone you could call your confidante. He listened to you talk for hours, just happy to keep you company.

He wasn’t exactly liked in the kingdom. Everyone knew him as the dragon that burnt down the church and castle from years ago, but they didn't realize how corrupt that king and that priest had been. And now that they were rebuilding the two buildings, they banished him out into the outskirts of the kingdom. Which just so happened to be near the castle you resided in. They thought they had been clever to send you to a tower where nobody could reach you, but only if they knew their worst fears were coming true…

Every day, you fall deeper into your love and appreciation for the dragon. You come to find out his name is Toshinori, but everyone gave him the awful nickname of Smite. He was just trying to save the land from an awful curse that the priest had intended to put on the entire area in exchange for immortality.

You longed to be with Smite. He was your everything now. You just had no idea that he was a dragon hybrid. You didn’t know that he was also part man. It didn’t matter to him though. He was happy to be there for you when you needed him most.

One day came where there were guards coming to your tower. They were ready to bring you back down to the village and to marry you off to some Lord. You struggled with the idea, mostly because you just wanted to be free. You wanted to ride on the back of Smite, just soaring through the skies.

Just as they are trying to usher you down the stairs, a loud rumble is heard from outside. You feel the whole tower shaking as something outside is clearly trying to break in. You hear his voice and your heart aches.

“Where is she?!” He growls loudly, attacking the tower to get to you.

“Smite! Toshinori! I’m here!” You cry out, trying to get his attention.

When he walks in the door, your eyes widen. He looks very different to you. This is when you come to realize that he’s not just a dragon, he’s also a man. He comes over to where the guards are practically dragging you down the stairs. He pulls them off of you, pushing them to the ground. The guards try to reach you again, but Smite is much quicker than them. And he’s much stronger.

“Nobody lays a hand on my mate.” He growls, baring his teeth. Then he turns to you, “They don’t realize who you belong to.”

With that, Toshinori guides you out of the tower. He transforms once more, allowing you onto his back. You two soar the skies together. It’s just like your dream come true. When he brings you to his lair, you’re treated to the sweetest love.

On his bed, he hovers over you. His eyes are dark and full of lust. He caresses your cheeks before he kisses you so deeply. Toshinori slides into you, moaning at the way he can so easily bottom out in you.  You cling to him, panting as the pleasure takes hold of you. He holds your hands, intertwining his fingers with yours.

“I promise,” he moans as he begins to thrust into you. “I’ll never let you go. You’re my little mate.”

Raising Your Husband in Danmei

So I've been in the danmei fandom for about 5 years at this point. During that time I've mostly hung around in international fandom spaces, since I'm not a native Mandarin speaker. But I do occasionally dabble in Chinese fandoms simply because the options for novels in English speaking danmei fandom are too limited. Once you've done that you familiarise yourself with many tropes and fandom slang that is so common in Chinese fandoms. They seem to be able to categorise any genre or trope with scientific precision. I'm by no means an expert so if I've gotten anything wrong feel free to correct me. I just wanted to talk about this one trope that I've come across on occasion but never really looked too deeply into. The idea came to me after reading this post, which features the AU idea of Xie Lian raising a little Hong'er. And it made me think of a few other danmei novels that also involve one of the main leads living together and raising the other, usually since they were young. If this concept makes you feel uncomfortable, then feel free to stop reading. TW's of every kind basically.

Raising your love interest or 养成

So while I've kind of seen this term used for danmei novels, I don't know where I first saw it. According to Baidu, the term's actual meaning is to "cultivate so that something can form or grow". 养成系 or "cultivation system", another internet slang term I see, is usually used to refer to "the development of idols" and in games to "cultivate a virtual character to become their ideal state". In the context of danmei novels, it means a story where the two leads have a significant age gap, and the plot revolves around the older one raising the younger and then they become lovers when they're older. Without mincing words, they're basically like grooming novels. Except where grooming in real life is a crime, in danmei fiction, the fantasy is seeing a male character having to be put in a nurturing position, and the other male character having to be dependent and become attached to his guardian not out of feelings of attraction at first. Just like most things in the genre, it's all about the moe factor. Also, a lot of it is unintentional grooming because usually the older character doesn't even realise the younger's budding romantic feelings until much much later. There may be time skips where they're separated and spend years apart, and incest or pseudo-incest may be involved.

Anyway, here are some popular examples listed under the trope that I know through going through lists of 养成 novels compiled by fans (basically I went on 小红书/red note and searched 养成系双男主文 or something):

Scum Villain's Self Saving System by MXTX

Yeah, quite a number of comments in XHS when discussing this trope will be like "oh you're talking about SVSSS right?" I guess any shizun fucker novel could qualify following that logic, but to be honest, we see so little of the "raising" in this one that I'd consider it light 养成.

大哥 or Older Brother aka Unknown by Priest

Another popular recent example that I keep seeing mentioned. It tracks, the MC adopted the ML and literally raised him. I haven't finished the drama actually (I'm sorry, I really should). Pseudo-incest too since they're adopted brothers.

落不下 or Can't Be Left Behind by Yousa

The incest danmei. Also maybe the only 年上 (top is older than the bottom) danmei with this trope that I like. Here the older brother actually intentionally grooms the MC. At least that's my reading. Theirs is a fucked up, intense and passionate relationship that compelled me nonetheless. I've seen this be described as gay Flowers In The Attic and while I haven't read the latter I'm definitely picking it up due to how much I loved this novel.

龙血 or Dragon Blood by Shui Qian Cheng

Adopted father/son. One of my faves from this author. Action thriller about a mercenary who finds a child in the middle of the jungle and trains him to be a mercenary, and the child turns out to be a secret government experiment who can turn into a mutant dragon hybrid. Good stuff. Hot smut too.

P - Invent a random AU for any fandom

For saint seiya, how about each god will control the main twelve houses on Earth and influence on their gold saint (there is no Pope chambers above) so there is another way for a holy conflicts but more internals xD

In general - body swap AU, yes please to that, especially in fandoms where the worldbuilding involved with strict hierarchy or any orders and another way for someone to explore a different perception of that. Like in Saint Seiya, a body swap between a gold, sliver or a bronze saint, usually it is temporarily with unspecified amount of time sometimes they have a choice to stay in that body/role. I love to see a body swap with Dragon Ball Super between Angels, Destroyers and Supreme Kai, as a fun thing organised by Zeno or the Grand Priest or a deep drive character exploration thing.

Okay, so first off, I haven’t seen many Fem Lambs, and I absolutely adore writing fems, so my Lamb will be She/They. I think I’ll be sticking with ‘The Lamb’ as her name as well.

As for the cultists, I’ll be revamping characters from a (very, I’m talking 2012) old Original Work I have. I never posted anything, but I feel like now is finally the time to let them shine!

There’s Anya the harlequin rabbit person, Reiketsuna the snow leopard, and Daichi the bat. Those are the main ones I want to revamp, especially Anya, as she has always been my favorite.

Of course there’s also ‘The Wolf’ I mentioned in the other posts. Something something, a sweet lamb comes across an dangerous, injured wolf and nurses it back to health. Undying loyalty and all that, yknow? I’ll probably be basing him off of Hotaru, the wolf person. Might change a few things though as his personality and the Wolf I want to make are vastly different…

I’m also playing with the idea of adding Hoshihiko and Koichiko, (the fox and weird half dragon half priest person … thing. Respectively.) but I’d need to majorly rehaul them, seeing as they were the main hero and villain of that story… idk though, maybe I can work them in? Augh.

I also want to put more focus on how the cultists are, indeed, animals. They act, think, eat, play, forge bonds, and live, in vastly different ways; And I think it would really fun to explore that. Foxes are mostly solitary unless rearing young, and then they form what’s called a ‘skulk’. Wolves always in packs and form deep family connections. Snow leopards are always solitary, roaming as ‘the ghosts of the mountains’. Sheep have large flocks and a leading sheep or shepherd.

Sheep can not be solitary or else they experience extreme distress. A sheep will follow their leader even when being led into danger and death, that is how deep the instinct to be follow is…

If you're still trying to think of something for Mei for the Fairy tale au, I recently found something out that could maybe work; in Russian folklore there is a stock character called Vasilisa, who's mostly known for her own tale, Vasilisa the Beautiful, but I've recently found out about other Vasilisa tales with details that could maybe work for something for a Mei in this au based around that kind of archetype, kinda like how Sandy is based on a princess archetype; 1. In her most famous tale, Vasilisa the Beautiful, Vasilisa is sent to get fire from Baba Yaga, and Mei eventually becomes the wielder of the Samadhi Fire, 2. in Vasilisa the Priest's daughter, we see a tomboy Vasilisa who wears men's clothes and rides horses. This is pretty much just because Mei herself is a tomboy, 3. in The Sea King and Vasilisa the Wise, Vasilisa is the daughter of the sea king, and Mei is the descendant of royal dragons who live under the sea.

I like to imagine how each of the temples look

Robins are large library’s, her followers gather and share knowledge as a teaching, most are nomadic since ohan

Frankys are workshops with his followers create and build machines.

Ussops are green house and small library’s filled with story books and fables. His followers tend to plants and tell children stores

Nami temples are ment for studying the weather and mapping out the world, there are many maps and one giant globe. Her followers study rain patterns and weather anomalies as well as create maps.

Sanjis temples are kitchens. His followers cook food and give it to those how are hungry.

Jinbes temples are located near or in the ocean. Lots of sea plants.

Brooks temples are full of music with large windows and skylights to show of the night sky. His followers are active at night where they sing great songs to people.

Luffys temples are like brooks, but sun themed and his followers help Carrie his themes of freedom and work to help those in need of it.

Choppers temples are hospitals for people and animals. His followers treat those who need it.

Zoros temples are like gyms and dojos. His followers train in the art of battle. They protect those who need protection.

I love all of theseeee!!!!!!

Luffy's specifically sounds kind of like the temple Dragon runs. What if he's a priest AND a revolutionary in this au???

I feel like Luffy doesn't have a lot of temples. Sure he has a lot of followers, but he doesn't like those stuffy people that use "his will" to control others. Also, he doesn't really like buildings because it's tedious to keep them lighten inside. He mostly just has stone alters that lower class people build and he's grateful for so surrounds them in sunflowers and has sparrows greet those who visit. There are a few made of carved stone to look like a rock with a strawhat on it and a sun emblem on the front - one of these is what Ace and Sabo stole.

This also means Luffy has the audacity to just walk into any other of the gods' temples without asking. Its a bit rude but most of them don't mind. Honestly Luffy just Showing Up before mortals' eyes becomes so common post-gt that pretty much everyone knows someone that's seen him. He's less of a god and more of a mixture between cryptid and annoying younger cousin to The Whole Dimension, but with a lot more god powers than he really should have

Priest AU Lore Dump

This is a fun little AU that myself, @akantorrr, and @pit-of-feathers pretty regularly talk about, so not everything here is stuff I came up with. If either of you have anything you'd like add feel free :]

I've got characters, demon/angel lore, and a "plot" (there isn't one yet).

Characters + Their Lore

• Gabriel

Gabriel is a priest and expert exorcist living in a smallish town. He works under the Council in his local church. He covers as much skin as he possibly can at all times, often wearing veils, gloves, and other such items to do it. He is absolutely covered in scars, from demon and human hands alike. He, like nearly everyone else in his hometown, is unable to drive thanks to the ease of access of everything near him. He lives "alone."

When he was younger, before he even considered becoming a priest, the Council discovered his natural talent for exorcising all sorts of unholy beasts, and kindly adopted him into their church to learn more.

• V1

It is the first demon for Gabriel to ever be unable to banish, and was able to escape him and the rest of the Council. Until it showed up at his home to take its pound of flesh (or blood in its case), of course. From there it decided that Gabriel's blood was decent enough for it to stick around and torment him.

It is well known for it's gluttony, and happily tears apart whatever it feeds from. Along with that it is known for being extremely protective of whatever it is feeding from.

• Minos

One of the many demons Gabriel has exorcised in the past. After word spread about V1 defeating Gabriel, he decided to come check things out (after receiving platonic shovel talk from V1). After another failed exorcism from Gabriel, he also decided that his house seemed like the place to be. And he invited his friends (mhm, they are just friends.)

Minos is obviously a demon of lust, though he doesn't show it often. He's much kinder to those who donate their blood to him than V1 is.

• Sisyphus

Sisyphus is another demon that Gabriel had exorcised in the past, and one of the "friends" Minos invited over. After yet another failed exorcism (and brawl with V1), Sisyphus was allowed to stay too.

Sisyphus is known for his greed, and protectiveness of his people and things, not unlike a dragon and its hoard. Those who steal his things or hurt his people are swiftly and violently dealt with.

• V2

The last of Minos' "friends", and V1's sibling. They are mostly just around to spend time with their loved one's (and who would they be if they didn't join in on pestering this priest?). Their relationship with all of the demons in the house was enough to get them in with only a warning, and they were lucky enough to not have an exorcism attempted against them.

V2 is one prideful bastard, they need to be the best, do the most, and any defeat is simply a fluke. They take pride in keeping those they care about healthy. They are probably the weakest out of all of the demons, but don't say that to their face.

• Ferryman

The Ferryman has no relation to anyone in Gabriel's house, and, strangely enough, they are extremely polite. They have not been a demon for long, and, like Minos and Sisyphus, were once human. Everyone suspects that they simply did not have long enough to take on more demonic personality traits. They were allowed to stay, under constant supervision, until everyone simply stopped watching them due to their trust.

The Ferryman is very envious. They want the friendships others around them have, they want the strength or rank that others have. They attempt to channel their feelings into more positive ones, for example, rather than being jealous of V1 forever, they make the effort to accept it into their flock.

• The Council

The Council runs the cult with an iron fist, keeping everything from clothing to food to transportation inspected and commanded by them. Anyone they think may betray them is made an example of, and anyone they believe could be an asset is trained until they cannot anymore. They are extremely abusive towards those assets, and can be towards the more mundane members as well. Gabriel is the most valuable one to them, and he has been with them for most of his life.

Demons and Angels

• Demons

Demons are the most common supernatural species that people come into contact with. They can be hard to exorcise and near impossible for a human to kill. They're strong, fast, and can disguise themself as humans to humans if they so choose. Along with all of this, they tend to have traits that match up with the seven deadly sins. They can either be born as demons, or die and come back as one.

Demons are commonly found in the homes of (or bodies of, in the case of possession) people who actually believe they exist, which makes it hard to grasp the true number of demons active globally. They can also be very territorial of their places or protective of their people.

It should also be mentioned that they must consume blood to survive, however normal human food still contains vitamins and minerals and the like that they need.

• Angels

There's little known about angels at the moment. What is known is that they are holy, winged beings, and can be created in the same ways that demons can. They have been growing weaker over time as well. They do not feed on blood, however, to demons their blood is considered to be a delicacy thanks to its rarity and addictive flavor.

Plot

There isn't much of a plot at the moment, just a series of events that have a very very loose timeline.

To start, Gabriel gets called out somewhere to exorcise a demon. It's V1, he is unable to defeat it, and it ends up living with him to torment him. The rest of the gang shows up, and all of them (minus Ferryman) join in. Over time they grow to realize that something is very very wrong with this town, and get more attached to Gabriel.

At some point a pact is made between Gabriel and each of the demons. He will willingly give them his blood whenever and provide them with better accommodations, and they will not hurt any humans other than him. They all agree before quickly realizing how bad for Gabriel's health this is, and the pact is broken so he doesn't die of blood loss.

Eventually the Council discovers that Gabriel has been working with/housing the demons, and they are PISSED. He is made an example of and left to die in the snow out back, with the only parting words being about how Gabriel needs to prove his loyalty or leave. After a lot of deliberation and arguments with the demons, he decides to leave with them, and goes to live his best cottagecore life with his little pack of sinners.

Misc: Design Doodles

Here's a little doodle I did of all 5 demons while working on the full reference of 'em. Sheep/ram Sisyphus, Minos: extra pointy, Ferryman but their robe is extra long, and mothchines (minus their fluff because this is an old screenshot). And then there's also the moth V2 art I did recently, which is probably the design I'm going with, though I forgot their halo.

Sometimes I do respond to comments if people have questions or are confused, but I do not respond to every single comment

I believe my angstiest ending would have to be for Broken and Barely Breathing as that seemed to be the one most people cried over in the comments

I believe it is Beautiful The Way That You Are as it ends where Dream starts to show off the tattoos that covered up his scars after Farfadox tells him he is beautiful just how he is

I don't think so but I mostly don't check my comments for hate

On this account, no I don't but that may change with a Farfadream story idea I had (mostly just flashbacks of a traumatic time c!Dream will be going through)

probably the Farfadream Mental Asylum au where Farfadox is a priest (secretly the king of demons) and Dream is a patient who is possessed by a dreamon

Once I write I don't stop and mostly I feel like writing when listening to a specific playlist which I will only put on to start writing

17. Writing weaknesses?

Procrastination, I always tell myself that I will write and then I don't, I also have trouble when it comes to writing people speak where I use the word 'said' too much

18. Thoughts on dialog in another language in a fic?

I enjoy it! I actually have written dialog in another language mostly when Farfadox speaks Spanish

Rise of the Brave Frozen Tangled Dragons back when I was 13 and had a different writing account before I created this one for writing Minecraft block men

Your Suffering Left You Broken, Let Me Help You Heal is probably my favorite fic I wrote as I enjoyed writing Tina's perspective of the server where she realized that everyone on the server was the problem and not Dream (I also enjoyed writing the part where she sees Tommy as a spoiled brat)

19. Come up with an idea for a new FE game!

Hm. What story elements of these games do I like? asjdgfajsdhg

I want to play a dragon again, is that allowed? Oh, and a bit like Esc/aflowne. How about Fire Emblem: Ancient Knight?

We have a village of manaketes, dragons in the sky, humans on the ground, and maybe 6 characters introduced. The protagonist, two of his friends (red and green knight coded), his sister who is a queen or high priest or something, a short old man who is mostly there as exposition, and his uncle who is a red dragon so we know he's probably going to be evil.

It's the protagonist's birthday, twenty or a hundred, pick a fun coming of age for a manakete.

You can train with your friends ahead of a ceremony where you'll be granted a Special Dragonstone because of your association to your sister, you can explore the temple where tales of a great manakete of ages past defeated three great armies to protect your people. This manakete had some symbol associated with themself, and their powers of divination. They foretold that one day, some thousands of years from the time of their prophecy, that a dragon would have this same symbol upon their face at the time of their coming of age, and would spell the doom of their kind. The champion of the past often lamented that there was nothing they, themself could do to stop it, and so they spent all their many years bringing their people to prosperity.

Your sister confided in you that when your uncle was born that many suspected he would be the one to portend this fate, but it hadn't been so.

Your friends will ask if you're worried about it.

And well, you should be. You have your ceremony and this symbol either glows in the air or marks itself on your skin, and your uncle in an effort to save your people will try to take your life. Your sister will sacrifice herself to save you, pressing Her Dragonstone into you (mouth, open wound, magically into your chest? whatever we're comfortable with), and when you take a step, the earth around you falls away. You can hold your friends to you as you go, you watch your uncle dive into the blackness after you.

And then we're several thousand years in the past. Help the leader of some country make peace with the local manaketes while fighting off invaders, preparing for the armies you know will come / that you prophesize, realizing that you are the ancient knight, and that the greatest of your enemies will attempt to crush you with the aid of a red dragon.

One of the outposts you find is a volcanic, harsh territory, and here you recognize the shapes of the temple where you were once a boy. Where you will build your altar and rest your heart / Dragonstone after your passing, for yourself to find. Your people were never doomed, you have no idea what they're doing without you. Given the opportunity, would you go back? Who would these people, and generations of your kind have to look to, if not to you and the legends you're capable of.

At least one big failure because tails get embellished in history. You don't always know what the future will bring.

You can change your class, but only manaketes can see through the fog of war and maybe some other neat tricks.

20. Any ideas for crossovers or aus?

I still want something like an awakening sequel if I'm honest. With as few as possible character references or cameos. I just want to go back to Ylisse and Plegia and find out the future of the Taguel people!

That's not really an answer. Um. Fates AU where the time travelling trio have plot relevance.

21. Characters from different FE games you would like to see interact? How do you think it would go?

I'd like to see Panne interact with someone from a beast race whose people are thriving. I liked @recurringwriter putting Virion and Lorenz in the same orbit, they make good friends / rivals. I'd like Mustafa and Nader (and Seteth) to sit down for tea. I'd like Eir to meet a bunch of the three houses cast, I sometimes think of her x Lorenz.

bnha fantasy au blurb because i have it on the brainnn

featuring kento because of course it does. since the canon fantasy au seems primarily based on western folklore, to get kento to fit in im just gonna have to squeeze in a tiny bit of japanese folklore. bc. yknow. kitsune.

kento is a kitsune who guards a well known shrine outside the city. he spends almost all of his time there, since priests in the city don’t take too kindly to his presence. he does, however, sneak around at night to visit taverns and do some trading and shopping.

one afternoon, kento catches wind of some new visitors passing through; the barbarian prince and his dragon companion. kento has heard plenty about them (mostly about the prince’s quick temper), but he’s curious to know if the rumors are true. so, he decides to take a risk and visit the city a little earlier than usual to see if he can spot them.

unfortunately, while he’s sauntering about and browsing the shops, kento is seen by a woman who recognizes him as a kitsune and accuses him of stealing products from the shops. he tries his hardest to defend himself, to no avail, and is instead hit by a weak spell she casts in his direction.

it does little to hurt kento, but he lies stunned on the ground for a moment. he prepares to fight back or teleport, but is instead covered by the large shadow of a person who’s leapt in front of him. he looks up to see a man with draconian features standing above him, wings outstretched.

“oi, kirishima! the hell are you doing?” a voice growls from somewhere in the surrounding crowd. “this ain’t our fight; get back over here!”

kento hears a rumbling growl from the half-dragon (supposedly kirishima) in front of him. “no, i’m not letting this guy get hurt!” kirishima’s voice softens as he addresses the woman who had attacked kento, reassuring her that kento had done no harm.

eventually, the conflict dissolves, and kento quietly dusts himself off and sits up. he’s surprised to see kirishima now looking at him, crouching down to make sure kento is alright.

“i’m really sorry i caused you so much trouble,” kento mumbles, embarrassed. “i don’t normally leave the shrine so early in the day, but i was hoping to see the visitors the whole city has been gossiping about. just my luck that i ended up like this.”

“no worries!” kirishima replies. “i’m just glad you’re okay! i would offer to treat you to a meal, but kats— ah, prince bakugou probably wouldn’t let me. he’s stubborn like that.”

wait. “prince bakugou…? OH GODS—“ kento leaps to his feet, fidgeting awkwardly as if he was unsure of how to properly address the other. “i’m so sorry, i had no idea! if anything, i should be the one treating you two to a meal, as payment for the trouble!”

kirishima laughs, replying, “hey, easy there. no need to get all formal. it’s really no issue, even if prince bakugou might disagree. it’s reassuring enough to know you’re alright— uh… sorry, i don’t think i caught your name.”

kento introduces himself, still burning with embarrassment. “my name’s kento sasaki. i’m the guardian kitsune of a nearby shrine, but i tend to visit the village at night to get things done. since… well, you saw what happened. people don’t take super kindly to kitsune around here.”

“well, i guess you got lucky then, since i take kindly to pretty much everyone!” kirishima beams, and kento notes his incredibly sharp teeth. “can’t say the same for bakugou, though. he’s… not exactly the most friendly guy.” the dragon pauses, glancing about to make sure no one was listening. “don’t tell him i said that.”

kento laughs. “of course not. well, thank you for the help… kirishima, was it? i heard your prince say your name earlier, i think. thanks for protecting me. i’m not a huge fan of fighting, since i feel like it sort of tarnishes the already bad reputation kitsune have around here.”

“no worries,” kirishima replies. “i’m always happy to help!”

“making a new friend, stupid scales?”

kento jumps, startled by the new voice. standing next to kirishima is a grumpy-looking blonde with a fur-lined cape. is this…?

“ah, yeah! this is sasaki, he’s a kitsune!” kirishima seems undeterred. “sasaki, this is prince bakugou!”

bakugou glares at kento for a moment.

“sorry for the trouble,” kento apologizes again, shrinking under bakugou’s piercing gaze. “but kirishima is a really good companion, i imagine. i hope you both take good care of each other.”

“‘course we do,” bakugou scoffs. “you think i wouldn’t look out for this idiot whose heart’s too big for his own good? he’s always sticking his neck out for people like you; it’s stupid.”

kento bites back a laugh as kirishima elbows bakugou. “don’t be rude to him! you’ll leave a bad first impression.”

“whatever, stupid scales,” bakugou retorts. “‘s not like we’ll be coming back to visit or anything.”

“still!” kirishima huffs, crossing his arms. “sorry about him, sasaki.”

“no worries,” kento replies warmly. “it was an honor to meet the both of you. forgive me for prying, but where will you two be headed after this?”

bakugou opens his mouth to speak, but is interrupted by an overeager kirishima. “we’re visiting my family in the southern mountains! i haven’t seen ‘em in ages, i’m super excited to go back again!”

kento raises his brows. “oh? i’ve heard about the dragon tribe there; i guess now that i’m looking more closely i can see the resemblance. i hope you enjoy your reunion, kirishima. maybe when you two make your way back through the city, i can treat you to a meal. consider it a thank you from me.”

i’m so normal about them. i don’t have any more writing energy atm, but maybe i’ll make a follow up with shorter general headcanons about them in the future <3
