#I think multiple teachers (mostly in middle school) threatened this for me#mostly for books like the outsiders or freak the mighty or the giver or where the red fern grows#we didn't read a lot of “classics” in that grade#when I got to highschool I think they stopped threatening it#probably because middleschoolers/elementary schoolers were more likely to be brats to their younger siblings#but also a chunk of my hs experience was online during covid so maybe I just missed out?#random polls#polls#tumblr polls#school
