Urlaub mitten in der Natur – das ist in Slowenien möglich. Hier seien die Städte Tolmin und Most na Soci unbedingt zu erwähnen. Tolmin liegt zwischen dem Fluss Soca und dem Fluss Tolminka und Most na Soci direkt an der Soca und der Idrijca. Tolmin im Socatal Direkt am Fuß des Vodel Berges mitten in Slowenien ist Tolmin zu finden. Die Stadt zählt zu den kleineren Gemeinden, wobei noch einige Ortschaften zur Stadt gehören. Most na Soci - Kleine Stadt am Stausee Die Hauptattraktion in Most na Soci im Socatal ist sicherlich der smaragdgrüne See der von der Soca gespeist wird. Es liegt im nördlichsten Teil des Soca Tals. Die beste Reisezeit für Tolmin u. Most na Soci Die Sommermonate Juni bis September sind ideal für eine Reise, denn zu dieser Zeit ist es angenehm warm und das Wetter meist schön. I️ interviewed my friend/high school class mate Ogechi Okoro, from Nigeria

My name is Ogechi okoro, I️ am an international student from Nigeria and I️ attend CCBC and I️ hope to become a Doctor.

My parents moved to the United States in December 2016 because my father was transferred for a job and my siblings and I️ moved as soon as we were done with our secondary school (high school)March this year for better education. The language barrier is annoying because you really can’t make friends here without trying to speak like them. I️ tell lots of jokes that back home it’s actually really funny but here it’s tagged as offensive or rude or they don’t even understand the words that are coming out of my mouth. Health care here is pretty much great, back home the good hospitals and all are for the rich and that’s stamped!

Gender roles are very different here than back home, back home “ woman no fit talk to man anyhow nau, that one na slap e go receive “ (a woman can not talk to a man without respect) but here I️ won’t say it’s completely equal but I feel like women have more say to be honest.

Working and studying here is a lot better because in Nigeria you can’t really get a decent job until you are done with school, most times even when you are you just go home and be a waste lol. But here you can do summer job and work where ever even when you are 16. As for schooling it’s better because they don’t always have strike that’ll hold your 4year course to 10 years. Here nothing holds you back except fees and yourself.

Razor - Tolmin

Der "nur noch kleine" Abstieg bestand aus 4 Stunden Laufen. Zu Mittag saß ich dann bei einer Forelle aus der Tolminka-Klamm, Polenta und Knofel-Öl und fragte mich: Wars das? Was war jetzt?

Also so wie wir und dann ich die Durchquerung gemacht haben, war es eine Strapaze.

Anfänglich - vorallem nach 2 Tagen Regen, Schnee, Schlamm und Baumbrüchen - glaubte ich nicht an Erfolg. Auf der Fraganter Scharte konnte ich mir erstmals ein Eintreffen in Tolmin vorstellen.

Aufbrechen und was anderes machen ist eine tolle Erfahrung und sollte man öfter mal wieder machen.

Slovenien ist sehr schön, das Essen deftig. Der Alpe-Adria-Radweg lockt.

Auto-Stop dauerte 30 Sekunden, und dann wartete ich 2 Stunden in Most na Soci auf den berühmten Zug, die Wocheiner Bahn. Immerhin gab es einen Schalter mit Mensch.
