#cyberpunk has become remarkably unstable for me now#because ofc it has#i mean when im just playing the game it's better than ever#but doing photomode stuff has been leading to all sorts of crashes and freezes#freezing/unfreezing characters in AMM seems to be the most common culprit#i didnt get a chance to update my bios before leaving last week so reformatting a disk so i can do that this evening#i know the cpu & ram i got aren't at their max potential until i get that done so maybe that'll help#t: wench.txt

This is based on a comfort fanfic of mine, "The Significance of a Grocery List With Everyone’s Favorite Food". Really good shit, is basically a fic centered around Saeyoung and how he navigates his newfound freedom after the events of Saeran´s AE. It has a little Vander7 here and there, with the chapter I based this on being the main one, but ultimately is based around family and domesticity.
Sadly it seems it´s descontinued, I hope not, but even if it is I fully recommend it. 10/10 makes me want more Seven centric fics.

#in other news… wORK IS OVER PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#man. i’m s o tired. i can’t believe i survived almost 2 whole years at this job…#huh. come to think of it… i started tling idol sengen before i even got this job lol. and i’m only 3/5 of the way through it…#can’t believe the idol sengen grind->hiatus->grind(?) outlives my time at [withheld] company…#i did end up spending a cool 20 mins cleaning out my work locker though. i found so many treasures i didn’t even know i had in there#like. there was an unopened 3-pack of wet tissues a n d an unopened box of pens that i don’t recall buying#and ofc the 3 random sponges i ‘liberated’ from the lab. don’t tell my boss lmao#w a i t now that i think about it i should’ve taken at least 1 vial of (allegedly) carcinogenic sand for the memories. dammit.#oh well. what’s done is done i suppose. i did receive way more chocolate than i could ever eat though…#y. yeah. i guess i’ll miss my coworkers (a little). they were fun to annoy every day. except for the new guy bc i don’t like him at all lol#i have never met someone who lacked as much common sense as he. i think he’s gonna get canned before he’s able to resign on his own terms#dude could be spoonfed through every single step of the testing process and *still* mess up somewhere smh#but no. this isn’t about him. even though he is the final straw that led to my decision to resign#hm. looking back on it now. i think i was pretty good at my job for the most part when it came to the things i could do#or maybe i was too good at it. like. to the point where even more experienced analysts were coming to me in search of help#prolly gonna miss being one of the very best (out of like a grand total of 10 people at the lab) at doing ftir-related tests#ehehehehehehe i wonder if that workstation will continue to stay as organised as it is now that i’m gone#a n d i wonder what my coworkers will do now that they can’t ask me for ms excel help for the smallest of things lol#sometimes i just wanna tell them to g o g o o g l e i t ! ! ! when they call me over for it. but alas.#can’t believe these guys know how to use c h a t g p t and not ms excel (despite having it on their resume) smh#omg wow this got long and incoherent sorry guys i think i need some sleep lol. idol sengen next week..#…maybe…? no promises though!!!!!

Mine is an unpopular one: when a normal human (or when they're human-sized) becomes a giant. Idk there's smth about it that makes it so angsty and tugs at my heartstrings. The fact that person still feels the same inside but everyone treats them differently and with fear, and that person feels a stranger in their own body, losing touch with their humanity and feeling isolated from others. All these feelings make my heart go crazy aushsh

This is the attitude aviators in general have towards Laurence and Temeraire one(1) day before the treason:

…and a limp little Greyling: not Volly, but Celoxia, and her captain Meeks. ”On the Gibraltar route, I think,” Meeks said, to their inquiry, ”if he has not been broken-down again,” rather bitterly. ”I don’t mean to carp at you, Laurence; God knows you have done all you might, and more. But they seem to think at the Admiralty that it is like putting a wheel back on a cart, and they want us flying all the old routes again at once…”
Like I’m sure this isn’t representative of everyone in the corps, but they have definitely been accepted by more than just Lily’s formation. There are officers who have only met Laurence in passing who have decided that the weird navy guy is pretty decent actually and definitely is one of the aviators now. Maybe they think back on how worried and angry they were when they heard that a heavy weight had choosen an outsider for captain and laugh a little, because sure there were some issues at the beginning, but now they have a cure for the illness and a diplomatic soloution with China, so surely everything will settle back into business as usual. And Then.
#i really really need various people in the corps POV on temeraire & laurence#i have been thinking most about the people who join the crew in book 9#but also about the different views on the treason#i think most aviators would say that the admiralty did wrong but t&l shouldnt have done what they did#some finding treason unthinkable. some less concerned with that but angry about how this will reflect on the way others veiw the corps#the ones who think they might have been right to do it but are quiet about it#maybe ones who thought it would be fair for their enemies to suffer the same pain and fear they had?#i wonder how many captain & dragon pairs thought the same as each other? how many assumed that they did?#how much discussion happened?#temeraire#(is Meeks a common name? because im pretty sure one of the navy officers they sort of kidnap at the end of book 7 is also named Meeks)#(i wonder if they are related?)

#keese draws#oc art#oc#lob corp oc#say hi to marker they’ve been another recent obsession of mine#they come from many hundreds of years ago (they got time warped very sad)#they aren’t particularly broken up abt it tho it all reminds them of the on field duty they used to do in their youth#honestly they’re mostly just dissapointed that the common language is one they’re already well versed in#the corp they worked for had a semi singularity that basically allowed them to catalogue every word that has been or will be#their main singularity involved transferring data to people through music#to be clear data is an unfitting term I just don’t know how else to word it#I guess you could say it transfers a persons experiences? or their state of existence?#like you could use it to transfer one’s knowledge to another but you could also use it to transfer someone’s muscle memory or specific#physical experiences as in like emulating the taste of something they ate or the experience of being drunk#within the corporation that owned this technology there were 5 main branches of experience gatherers who would be used as sources for music#they followed a latter like structure and from bottom to top they were the nose the skin the toungue the eye and the ear#marker spent most of their career there working as an eye but about a decade ago graduated to be an ear#well a decade from their timeframe ofc#this basically made their job to produce and listen to the music of the other branches to make a more central database#back as an eye their job mostly was about reading and learning shit and they are also the ones who usually handle the word semi singularity#so marker is very well versed in an absolute metric ton of languages#and they also just. know a Lot.#they were also pretty stupid rich before yknow getting displaced in time#again they don’t mind especially since the biggest benefit of their wealth from their perspective doesn’t apply now#aka the music the corp created was very sensitive to other sounds so they removed sound from their district#so it’s similar to t corp (I think it was them) where sound was a luxury that only the rich could afford#to most from their time period marker would come off as comically rich due to them being fully willing to speak out loud during casual talk#they joined lob corp simply because they wanted to work in a field vastly different from their old one#since they were rich they got to skip right past the tiers that more involved actually getting your hands dirty and after working as an ear#they found themself increasingly more and more intrigued in actually getting to experience these sorts of things first hand

being trans/nonbinary in today’s political climate means i remove the “they/them” from my professional pronouns and go by he/him. being trans in today’s political climate means i’m actually considering changing my gender marker to “M” so that there isnt any queerness on paper that blocks me from being considered for employment
