#most Star Trek series probably would have been goners after their debut seasons

What the studio did to Star Trek Prodigy is literally cruel and villainous.

It’s one thing when a show gets cancelled prematurely but they literally let all of the people involved in producing this show fully write, act, and animate an entire 2nd season with no indication that there was a risk that this fully finished season wasn’t going to air. Only to rip it all away, remove the first season from their streaming platform immediately, and leave the fate of the 2nd season in limbo.

And with no heads up to the people who made the show.

I’m midway through season 2 and it is literally my favorite Star Trek story since OG Voyager. It has really found a stride in season 2 and is weaving together entertaining plots with their original characters and tons of legacy characters from multiple beloved series.

I know there’s almost no chance of a season 3 but everyone involved in this show deserved SO MUCH BETTER.
