I LOVE DWIGHT SHRUTE

I genuinely think he’s such a good character. I love how he’s stupid but also smart and always prepared like he’s so funny. The office in general is genuinely SO timeless. The humour is hilarious and I love how dry it is. One of the shows that I think compares to it is what we do in the shadows because they both have that type of humour. I also wonder what it’d be like to see Dwight SHRUTE and Colin Robinson interact they’re actually so stupid I love them so much.

When it comes to Dwight specifically I love the development for him, the writers on the show are genuinely so good and they make this silliness actually meaningful in a way where a lot of shows kind of fall flat because they’re so silly. The writers perfectly balanced the amount of seriousness and humour in the show it’s unbelievable. Dwight and Jim’s relationship too is so sweet, they both hate and love each other I find it so platonically cute. I also love his friendship with Mose, like I feel that’s underrated like they’re just two silly guys on a beet farm like idk why I love that so much. I also appreciate that he’s extremely honest (we don’t count that one episode he lied to Michael) like he’s SO real and will just say anything.

The Office Finale as Told By My Mom

My mom has seen every episode of The Office except the finale. I asked her what her predictions were for it and here was her response:

Dwight and Angela are happily married and raising their powerful beet loving child. Dwight reigns the office as he always dreamed and Angela works closely beside him. Mose acts as a babysitter to Phillip.

Oscar ends up babysitting with Mose and they get into their own wacky shenanigans throughout the day. Oscar also finally finds himself true love and gets a nice husband.

Jim and Pam move to Philly to work with Darryl for Athlead. Darryl is quite successful and happy. Jim and Pam continue being annoyingly cute.

Phyllis and Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration, continue living their strange life together.

Meredith‘s just keeps being Meredith.

Andy gets over his weird crisis and becomes a teacher for community theater or a university.

Stanley retires and/or moves to Florida. His poor wife finally divorces him and she receives a nice settlement.

Kelly is happy living her life with her new husband.

“I honestly don’t care about Ryan anymore.”

Erin and Pete continue their relationship and become the new Jim and Pam. The office continues to cycle through Jim and Pam clones.

Clark goes the young Ryan route but instead of getting hooked on drugs, he becomes a male escort and earns money by seducing older women.

Kevin becomes a spokesperson for M&Ms alongside Danny Devito.

Creed is revealed to have been running an underground operation in the warehouse and is secretly a millionaire. Nobody realized it.

Gabe moves to Asia and annoys the citizens and poor unsuspecting tourists.

Nellie has a crisis about why she even came to America in the first place and she moves back to England.

Toby finally publishes his Chad Flenderman novels and in them reveals himself to be the Scranton Strangler out of guilt. He then goes into hiding but continues stalking Nellie.

And finally, Michael and Holly are happily married and stay in Colorado being super cute, though they often unintentionally offend their neighbors.

I’d say she nailed most of it.

I have a crush on Dwight from the office and here’s why you should too

The U.S Office is one of my all time favourite comedy shows, I’ve seen it all the way through at least five times.   I love it, but I love one of the characters in particular. Dwight.  I know most people crush on Jim but here are the reasons why you should look towards Dwight with the same affection. Just as long as you remember he’s MINE!

1.  He is confident in who he is and he likes who he is - this is a big win from the off for me. Confidence is sexy even if it is at times misplaced. 

2.  Because he is so comfortable in who he is, he’ll allow you to have the same confidence. Think about it he loved Angela, he never once pointed out any of her personality flaws, he was all in from day one. 

3.  He is loyal. He was ready to get fired for Michael one time and defended Angela even after she had broken his heart.

4.  He fought to find out if Phillip was his son.  He was ready to face his responsibility as a father as soon as he heard there was a chance Phillip could be his.  

5.  He is good to his family.  He takes his family business and traditions seriously but he genuinely cares for Moses and is caring for his aunt in her old age. His family are important to him and if you become part of that family you’ll be just as important to him. 

6.  He’s in good shape.  All that work on the farm and his martial arts pay off.  Dude’s got some biceps.  

7.  He lives in the most amazing house.  Not to get material about things but his huge house and all that land, not exactly a hard sell. 

8.  He has plenty of his own interests, hobbies and friends and much like his self confidence he’d encourage similar for you too. 

9. He can take care of himself, he does all his own washing, keeps a house and can cook and he’d probably let you know he could do it all better than you.  No slaving in the kitchen for this guy, he’d do his fair share.

10.  When a Shrute marries they marry for life so if you get as far as Dwight popping the question he’s truly in it for the long term.

So there you have it, the reasons why I’d be a Shrute in a heartbeat.

I just finished rewatching The Office all the way through to the end for the first time. I usually stop after Jim and Pam’s wedding or after Cece is born, or when Michael leaves at the absolute latest.

While I can’t say I changed my opinion that it suffered greatly in the final 2 years (oh Catherine Tate, how your talents were wasted), boy howdy do they knock it out of the park in the last few episodes. (Except for that attempt at a Shrute farms spinoff; I just fastforwarded through that.) I actually like the decision to make the documentary real in the last season. Jim and Pam’s marriage problems worked better for me than they did the first time through. And the episode where Pam finally reads the teapot note and Dwight proposes to Angela had me crying and crying. Michael’s appearance in the finale is one of the greatest moments in the history of television, and proof that “that’s what she said” in the right context can also be a tearjerker.

Also every appearance of Mike Schur as Mose delights me 10x more today than it did at the time.

FACT: The Office will never die.

Sure, the NBC comedy ended in 2013, but the show's beloved characters will live on in our hearts, minds, and apparently sketchpads forever.

The latest tribute to the Dunder Mifflin crew comes from Marisa Livingston, a Los Angeles artist who transformed Michael Scott and the gang into some of the most perfect cartoon characters we've ever seen.

Livingston started off by animating the World's Best Boss, along with some of our favorite core office employees like Jim Halpert, Pam Beesly, Dwight Shrute, Kelly Kapoor, and Andy Bernard.

But then, things got even better. She took her Office stanning to an entirely other level and tackled some secondary (but still HUGELY critical) characters like Ryan, Meredith, Jan, Stanley, Creed, Oscar, Kevin, Phyllis, Darryl, Holly, and Erin. Also, Toby (If anyone cares).

Livingston even cartoon-ified characters that appeared in the final seasons of the show, like Charles Miner, who's played by the handsome, smooth, and very talented Idris Elba.

"The characters are charming and memorable and lended themselves easily to being drawn," Livingston told Mashable via email, noting the great cast and crew of the show inspired her drawings.

"It was fun and rewarding to translate my appreciation for the show into something tangible and I'm so happy others like my interpretations as well," she went on.

What more could Office fans ask for? Nothing, except maybe a cartoon Mose. But sadly Livingston is done drawing characters from the NBC comedy and wants try her hand at characters from other shows with smaller casts.

I don't want to disappoint, but I've drawn all The Office characters that I wanted to draw. 24 of them was plenty for me! At this point, I'd rather have a look at doing other, smaller show casts in the future when my free time permits. Thank you!! Much love :)

The Office T Shirts

The Office t shirts, which can be purchased online at websites which specialize in humorous tee shirts, are amongst the most popular genre of t-shirts around. The numerous quotes and catch-phrases which were utilized from the series during the last few years have spawned a number of humorous t shirt slogans. The Office is an American comedy, based on the British BBC series of the same name, which was originally written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. The American series tells the story of office employees from the Scranton division of a fictional paper firm, known as Dunder Mifflin.
