People keep mentioning a morro and lamp and connected it to Dianna. But umm... do people not remember Karlie's huge trip/video in Marrakesh Morocco before Lover Era started and her walking around the cacti, the wisteria like scenery, the blue wall, talking to the woman about an artist and her muse. She also post the videos twice, one was right before YNTCD came out. The Haim Sisters were also there in Marrakesh when Karlie was there.

Also, the house Karlie was renting or taking pictures in over the summer was Morrocan themed decor. Look it up.

After pointing this out on while ago after The Lakes lyrics came out there was a submission on TTB blog about her Moroccon trip and the connection to Taylor–and Karlie being her muse and wisteria stuff. The very NEXT day Karlie posted a picture video clip of her in Morocco on a camel holding up the ✌ sign. I'm pretty sure she saw that submission.

So, before folks sell CLM on it might be about Dianna—you might need to look a little deeper.

Agreed! The lyric video for Cowboy looks like the same bar her masters were sold in press photo. I think she’s saying the old men that they have swindled...as in the two men they both swindled SB + SB plotted hard to f*ck Tay’s masters and coming out plan up. 

I like the theory that all three are ‘cowboys’ as in gay. Like D, K and T. Ultimately it’s a big Karlie nod to me.

to make a room more homely

all of my creativity goes down the drain when I search questions I have - people are so different and sometimes that’s bad. your individual flow can be diminished.

either way - I’m putting some things here to remind myself: you can make a room look nice - you just need to put time and money into it.

make the walls plain for now *maybe a neutral/brown paint for one*, stick with warm tones (morrocan rugs, candles, wool, velvet, wicker, lamps, gold hardware), mix metals, have low-maintenance plants. and base the room around the bed.

ambience is the best feeling for ur own space. keep it clean

What does your room look like do you havenwnything taped to the walls

I only have PICTURE FRAMES. AND MASKS/TAPESTRIES/OBJECTS OF SIGNOCULTURAL IMPORT TO ME and my people. I avoid taping things but sometimes I do. I’m living out of boxes atm but I do have a red accent wall abs a nice wooden loft around me with which to hang lights off of and make me feel like I’m in a ship cabin, and a surfboard I fucked a hole into so that the fiberglass is fucked abs it’s unusable hangs off the top front it’s a nice touch. Got a shell chandelier. A morrocan oil lamp. Uh we got cinnamon broom. Plants. This

It´s been quite a long time this idea came to my mind. I played around with form because I wanted to create something that includes my favourite objects as well as must-have items, practical advices on decorating and something that is a moodboard (or kind of, at least).

Finally, let me introduce you SimSbiotic´s guide.

The guide with links to the best of the best of sims 2 goodies, with tips & tricks for decorating interiors, that will be focused on interior design. 

I prepared a few topics to start with but you are invited to join the party, send me ideas for moodboards, titles of main topics, what you want to see and what interests you. Also I will be happy to see pictures of your homes based on meshes from my guides, just tag your post with @kacicka777 and “simsbiotic guide”.

Summer edit

It wasn´t a big deal to choose first topic, we love summer and sea. Whether your sims bought a cute cottage on the beach or just want to bring a summer breeze to his/her home, this edit provides you with tips how to achieve a simple calming interior with beach vibe.

Let´s start!

1. CHOOSE A COLOR PALLETTE

We recommend to choose a color pallette before you start. For relaxing beach house interior the combinations of white, grey, different hues of blue or light green and colours of natural wood and sand is the best option. Just find the inspiration in the nature:

2. CHOOSE MATERIALS

We usually use as much natural materials as possible. Natural wood on floors or walls, wicker and wooden furniture, baskets, pottery, soft leather, wool, linen. It´s up to you which materials you´d prefer but it should please your eyes and touch.

3. CHOOSE DECORATIONS

Pampa grass in the vase, woolen hand-made throws with tribal ornaments or morrocan pouff presents the right essence of summer house for slow living. Do you like that big painting of the sea or did you find a wicker wall decor at the market? Don´t be afraid to put them on your walls, they deserve it. On the floor, we´d opt for fluffy furs or jute runners.

Tips for a serene master medroom

Live like you are on vacation during the ‘stay at home’ ordinance with these at home self care tips from Lisa Palmer, principal designer of SummerHouse.

We recently had the pleasure of catching up with Lisa and learned several ways to creating a serene master bedroom—because we all know sleep and self-care go hand and hand. So whether you have a ‘stay in bed’ all day kind of day or you’re making your beautiful bed when the sun come up, you are sure to enjoy your space to the fullest.

“Black out drapery on a beautiful remote controlled rod. Truly indulgent, I know, says Lisa. I just installed this in a clients master bedroom and with so many rooms in their home, and a total renovation, THIS was one of their favorite.”

A few additional suggestions Lisa gives to her clients include...

Lighting on dimmer. A MUST.

Soft rugs. Lisa loves natural sisal rugs in other rooms in a home, but in a bedroom, there’s nothing like a wool morrocan shag, or a silk and wool patterned rug for acoustics and to keep your tootsies warm.

Serene bedrooms should be balanced and decluttered. Edit your pattern play by repeating the same duvet pattern, shams and drapery or layer with different shades of the same solid color. Mix up the textures, but keep the colors in a similar hue.

Edit your accessories and wall art/photography. Keep the headboard wall furnishings and lamps symmetrical for a relaxing balanced feel.

Layered bedding on a beautiful bed. I prefer percale sheeting for it’s cooling effect, but always have a blanket, coverlet and duvet as well as a double layer of bed pillows. Not only does the layering look wonderful, but gives you the options no matter how cool or warm your room is.

unfortunately, I am not very familiar with the morrocan culture / marrakech souks, so it does feel a bit inappropriate to create a moodboard that is completely based on a culture that i barely know anything about. maybe another creator on here is more familiar with the morrocan culture and will gladly answer your request <3
