🖤 Things have definitely changed for me this year. Lots of challenges, lots of tragedies, but also LOTS of growth and positive change. I finally went to, and graduated valedictorian from esthetics school, and began the first steps toward my chosen career. In that process, my skin went from dehydrated, red and flat-out dead to mostly clear, dewy and fresh. My makeup applies faster, looks better and stays on longer. My skin is truly the healthiest it's been in ages, and I got a career out of it to boot! From the end of 2016 to now, I've suffered many losses. Losing my mom left me emotionally shattered, and I still grieve for her and the three fur babies I've lost to this day. I wish my mom were here to celebrate my accomplishments with me; accomplishments she helped make happen, even from beyond the grave. Between state board exams and finding a job, 2018 is already proving itself to be a challenging year, but I've already survived the most difficult two years of my life. With my friends, my partner and the determination my mother gave me, I can do anything. If you've encouraged me, thank you. If you've supported me, thank you. If you've doubted me, thank you. If you've hated me, thank you. 2018, I'm ready.
