I don't talk about it much here, but one of my favorite franchises is Sherlock Holmes

The books, the movies, the bbc series, the audio books, the animes, you name it

I eat it all up like a very starved dog

And, yes. Sherlock and Watson? A classic. Gorgeous, really

While the BBC series was airing, a lot of people used to ship Sherlock and Moriarty, but I never really saw it

Until

I found one of the animes that would quickly become one of my favourites: Moriarty, The Patriot

Don't know it? Watch it. Trust uncle Spencer. It's gonna knock your socks off

For real, just look at the trailer. Also, the soundtrack in this anime? Absolutely delicious. The intro of both seasons are still my favorite anime intros of all time - as in, both of them still rank somewhere in my spotify wrapped every year after 4 years. If you are a soundtrack nerd like yours truly, this anime is a fucking masterpiece

Anyway, that's season 1 trailer. The anime isn't Sherlock-focused, clearly. So much so, if I'm not mistaken, Moriarty and Sherlock only interact in season 2. And, that season also brings the best character of the whole show: My gorgeous perfect unapologetic genderfluid Irene Adler aka James Bond. Right, yeah. Jack the Ripper is also there but, are you going to pay any mind to some serial killer when you got a gorgeous beauty like Irene/James in your visage? Absolutely not

Here, look at the trailer. Look at how fucking horny they made Sherlock. It's gorgeous. The guy is so turned on by Moriarty's brain that it should be illegal. They flirt by playing smart mind games with each other and comitting crimes so the other can solve them? Please

Quick side note: The "Catch me if you can, Mr. Holmes." line drove not only Sherlock absolutely insane, but the whole fandom back then and, honestly, can you blame us?

With that said, Sherlock and Moriarty? Yes

And, of course, all this talk of Sherlock just to end up on Good Omens again

I've got my little list of AUs I want to write, yes? One of them is Sherlock based, with Crowley as Sherlock and Aziraphale as Watson but...

Am I going to, technically, add a second Sherlock AU to my list just so I can explore how the dynamic between a Crowley Moriarty and a Aziraphale Holmes would work? ...Oh yeah, absolutely. I can smell the enemies to lovers from here

Ana, what would you say your top 5 anime are?

The only secure place shall we say is #1 but the rest really are not set in any particular order. Regardless, I've already answered this question a while ago but my opinions changed a little bit and these ones are definitely my favorite of all time.

#1 Bungo Stray Dogs.

My all time favorite anime is this one - Bungo Stray Dogs. It really hits hard for me because it just sucked me in immediately upon first watching it. I also really enjoy reading so being introduced to Japanese literature was just such a lovely bonus to me, so much so that I actually own two books which were written by Osamu Dazai.

If you've been following me for a while, this anime needs no introduction and you probably already knew that it's my favorite.

#2 Moriarty the Patriot.

Such an underrated gem...

Moriarty the Patriot tells the story of a math professor, William James Moriarty and how he wreaks havoc amongst the upper crust of British society as the secret Lord of Crime. He's a very morally ambiguous character who yes, does want to ultimately do good but his methods can be considered very extreme at times.

The anime is set in 19th century London and just the overall vibe of the show is immaculate. Every episode starts by setting the atmosphere which really gets you going, wondering how William and his associates will handle the chaos. His natural foil is the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and watching the two interact is a blast.

If you're in for anime which is packed with mystery, crime and some cool 19th century vibes, this one is incredible.

#3 Code Geass.

This is also another really popular anime that I don't think needs much of an introduction.

I've rewatched this show I think close to 10 times and never ONCE did I get bored. Keep in mind, I do NOT like mecha anime and this is one of two I've seen in my lifetime, the other being Aldonoah Zero.

Even so, despite my bias, it's still one of my favorites.

Literally everything is perfect about it and Lelouch is just... I'm speechless. He has my heart, I love that man.

#4 Re:Zero.

This is another one that had me on the hook since episode one.

I've always liked isekai anime but this one is just built fucking different. The author of this series really knows his craft both inside and out and I don't see enough praise for his world building.

Re Zero tells the story of a loser 17 year old otaku, Subaru Natsuki and how he got isekaid to another world. Since he's a dumbass, he thinks that he can have any ability he wants and that things will instantly go his way but Subaru is in for quite the rude awakening once he realizes just how horrible his situation is.

At the time of writing this, season 3 literally just came out and I am eagerly waiting for each new episode to drop.

#5 Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

Horror packaged in frills and ribbons is my whole aesthetic and this show feeds right into that.

It really does look like a simple little magical girl show upon first glance but by now, it has received the almost legendary status that it has for a damn good reason. The story manages to make the usually cheerful archetype of the magical girl into something much more sinister and tragic, exploring some interesting themes along the way.

Feel free to comment or share your thoughts on my fav list. Some honorable mentions would be Naruto, My Next Life as a Villainess, The Case Study of Vanitas and definitely some more shows which I can't recall at the moment.

explicitly gay: given. probably the best in the BL (not yaoi) genre. gorgeous, lots of western rock band references (if you are into that), very good emotional stuff.

not explicitly queer but not not explicity queer:

- buddy daddies: original anime, one season, completed. two hitmen accidentally aquire a toddler and their situation is given proper weight. not an idealized portrayal of parenthood or toddlers, and theres proper violence. their qpr is off the charts

- the case study of vanitas: the manga is ongoing but on hiatus a lot so theres not much new after the 24 eps of the anime. alternative universe 19th century paris with vampires, accordingly sexual but its written by a woman so everybody is hot and bisexual. if you give it a try, the 3rd ep almost made me drop it but it will make sense later i promise. lots of horror elements/imagery but its gorgeous at the same time. funny, horrifying, heartfelt, well written characters and a canon nonbinary/genderless vampire, among other things. power polycule

simply just excellent and barely known: orb: on the movements of the earth. ongoing netflix anime, will be finished with its 25 eps. alternative universe medieval poland, where the inquisition is much more interested in heliocentrism than it actually was. insanely wild, rated 18+ for good reason. the 3rd episode had my jaw on the floor (and many since too). i am so very sorry i genuinely really appreciate you putting all this together but im incapable of watching anime there's something extremely off putting about the artstyle and the voice acting to me. like i fully believe it's a valuable artform that means a lot to a lot of people but it's just so unappealing to me like i already rarely watch animation but the anime style just isnt one i could stand to look at even if it's well animated. also someone forced me to watch 1 anime 1 time when we were like eleven and it is to this day still the only one I've seen and it was so deeply shitty it's probably a huge reason why I'll never be able to engage with anime even the good ones

But when they showed the first episode at one of the manga meetings, to my surprise I liked it and decided to watch the rest myself. Interesting anime; funny but also bittersweet.

I also answered that in this ask (Romantic Killer; this anime is SO good and really deserves another season!!) but I can also give another title.

Sometimes I randomly remember about Blue Period and I'm like "Hey, where is the second season?" As far as I know, the manga is still being created, so there is still a lot of material for the anime and I have to admit that Blue Period is something.

30. one anime conclusion you would change

I'm torn between Tokyo Revengers and My Hero Academia. The first one was a bit disappointing because it was way too happy enging. As much as it sounds, someone could have stayed dead or on bad terms with other characters. And with My Hero Academia, I didn't feel satisfied at all with the career Midoryia chose. I've read too many Vigilante Deku fanfics to believe he didn't try to work as a hero.

Edit: Shit, these were mangas, not anime xD My mistake So Banana Fish. Because OH COME ONNNN. It could have ended differently, happier.

Everyone and their mother watched this one for sure. I might hate irl soccer due to finding it extremely boring (sorry irl soccer fans), but this one I really liked due to it making the sport actually interesting for me. I gotta also say that I found their eyes kinda unsettling when they entered their ”monster modes” (I can not say that with a straight face lol) but other than that, the animation was quite good.

Moriarty the Patriot

In the late 19th century Britain, William James Moriarty and his accomplices with nobles’ blood on their hands work together on a grand plan to bring down the system that favours aristocracy. A mathematician by day and a crime consultant by night, William James Moriarty is about to meet his match - one gentleman called Sherlock Holmes.

Love me some more victorian era Sherlock Holmes shenanigans. I was so late to this one but it was still so worth the watch (and the read. The manga is just *chef’s kiss*)

*Mastermind by Taylor Swift playing in the distance* Honestly, imagine meeting you soulmate (platonic or otherwise) and them being on the completely other side of law from you. The drama of it all. (Yes, I’m very normal about these two)

Dr. Stone (Season 3 + Nanami Ryuusui Extra)

Over 3700 years ago, a mysterious beam of light enveloped every human into a layer of stone. To stay conscious, Ishigami Senku started to count seconds from the moment he was petrified. When he manages to break free from the stone in the spring of the year 5738, the human civilisation as he knew it had already disappeared. What will happen from now on? What will happen to rest of the petrified people? Are there others who have depetrified?

I love, love, love this anime so much. It follows the manga so well and yes, I do recommend the manga for anyone interested. It’s really, really good and didn’t let me down unlike some others have. Also, it’s so refreshing to have a main character who is actively very much uninterested in sex and romance. How aro and ace of him (personal headcanon, no need to fight me for it)

Tomo-chan Is a Girl!

Tomo is a high school girl with a crush on her long time bestfriend, a boy named Junichiro. She tries to confess to him but unfortunately she has been placed into the friendzone from where it seems almost impossible to escape from. With Tomo being very tomboyish and physically strong, it’s just hard for Junichiro to see her as a girl. Will she get out of the friendzone? Maybe she should get some help from her other friends…

I didn’t think I would like it as much as I did. ’Childhood bestfriends to lovers’ trope with a healthy sprinkling of pining, chaos and ridiculousness. Delicious.

Romantic Killer

Anzu, a high school girl obsessed with video games, cats and chocolate and fully uninterested in romance, gets assigned a wizard that is going to do everything in their power to create the perfect love life for her. Anzu, however, is having none of it. Game on, you stupid wizard!

12 episodes - comedy, romace, supernatural

I kind of have a lot to say about this one, so buckle up. As an aroace person (who also, coincidentally, loves cats, chocolate and video games) I found the premise a bit annoying at first. I do love, well, love, but it pissed me off that romance was treated as an ���end all, be all” kind of thing and everything else as irrelevant rubbish. Trying to force someone into a relationship via magical means felt wrong. You could say I’m reading too much into this and yes, maybe I am, seeing as the premise was a ”to counteract the low birth rates” gag, but I’m also entitled to my own opinion and critiquing hetero- and amatonormativity.

Regardless, I ended up actually quite liking the anime as it progressed. The backstories for the characters were interesting and I found myself really loving Anzu’s headstrong personality. She doesn’t let the wizard push her around and stands her ground quite often. I really appreciated that. Also the humour in the show did make me laugh quite often, which is always a plus. That being said, I wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to whack the wizard around the ears. Annoying little thing, that one is.

Sasaki and Miyano

Yoshikazu Miyano, the schools resident BL loving student, meets his senpai named Shuumei Sasaki after he saves Miyano’s classmate from being bullied. This chance encounter and Miyano accidentally revealing his interest towards BL bring the two together and from that day onwards Sasaki is stuck to him like glue.

13 episodes and an OVA - Romance (BL), drama

My VPN worked its ass off when I read this manga on some shady ass website lmao. I just had to know what happens after the point where the anime ends.

Very sweet. Do recommend.

The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting

Kirishima Toru works for the Sakuragi family. One day the head of the yakuza crime family summons him and tasks him with the duty of taking care of his daughter, Yaeka. How will this ”demon of Sakuragi” handle his new responsibility of watching over her?

This filled the hole in my heart that Spy x Family ending left at the time. Really heartwarming and I loved the bonds the characters in this show had.

The Salaryman’s Club

Shiratori Mikoto is really good at badminton. That is until an incident in the Interhigh leaves him unable to play how he wants to. Things start to change when he gets a job at Sunlight Beverages and joins their weak and amateurish badminton team.

I saw no one talk about this??? Anyway, I liked this one. A lot. There might a little bias on my side since I actually practiced badminton when I was younger, but I think I would have liked this regardless! The characters had nice dynamics and liked the aspect of ’salarymen by day, badminton players by night’. Have you even lived if you haven’t experienced the highs and lows of corporate world badminton?

Latest season of Tokyo Revengers (Chifuyu truly is the bestest of boys, the homiest of homies. I also read the manga in its entirety. That one I have… a lot of opinions about, not all of them good)

Our Dating Story: the Experienced You and the Inexperienced Me (this one was just okay for me. I actually don’t know if I ever finished it… Well, I’m gonna have to accept the fact that I’m just not someone who enjoys the ’established relationship’ trope…)

Trigun Stampede (I’m not usually scifi kind of person but this one I really enjoyed!)

Komi Can’t Communicate (Not much to say about this one. It was very nice and I particularly liked the way Tadano almost seemed like he was able to read minds hahaha)

The latest season of Demon Slayer (Honestly, a little disappointed. It felt simultaniously very slow and very fast. Also, kinda boring compared to the last arcs. Still decent tho)

Spy x Family (Ah, Spy Family, my beloved. I liked this one a lot)

Chainsaw Man (Gotta admit, I was a little traumatized by the episode 7. I have never wanted to crawl out of my own skin more while watching anime, than I did while watching that episode. The skipping and pausing I had to do with that one… Damn. Other than that one episode, I liked this one enough to finish it)

My Dress-Up Darling (mixed feelings about this one. I just wanted a nice anime about cosplay and sewing and ended up getting fanservice and sexualization of minors. I’m in my mid to late 20s, I don’t need that shit. Just feels weird and wrong. I did finish it, albeit I did skip all the fanservicey scenes)

Moriarty the Ticklish

I recently got into Moriarty the Patriot and OMG! What an anime! It's literally Sherlock Holmes, the anime, and I loved it! If you're a fan of Sherlock Holmes, this is the anime for you! So, this is my first ever fanfic for this anime and my first fanfic of 2023! YAY!

This fic takes place during Season 1 after being introduced to the first five members of the Moriarty group, so there are no spoilers. Enjoy!

Summary: After getting scared to death by Moran, Fred becomes grouchy and pouty. Luckily for Moran, he knows how to get Fred smiling again. However, against their will, the Moriarty Brothers get dragged into their little game, but they're not complaining.

Laughter. An auditory expression of several positive emotional states, such as joy, happiness, or relief. It's common among friends and family, nobles and commoners alike; the Moriarty Brothers and their comrades are no exception.

"Hahaha! That was rich!" Moran laughed, "Oi, you should've seen your face, Fred! Hahaha!"

The young man was standing beside the door, panting as he clutched his chest. It looked like he'd been spooked by a ghost, well, not by a ghost, by Moran. The sharpshooter had hidden in the wardrobe to give the deadpanned young man a scare, and it worked; very well, Moran would add. Now, Moran was laughing his head off as he clutched his stomach.

"Not cool, Moran," Fred said, trying to keep his composure, "I felt like I was going to have a heart attack."

"Oh, lighten up, Freddy!" Moran said, "You're a good kid who works for the Moriarty Brothers. You know the shit they do, and you pledge your allegiance to them anyway. I'm surprised a little jump-scare got you that bad."

Fred breathed out his last pant and glared up at the sharpshooter.

"You're a real pain in the ass; you know that?" Fred asked with a pout.

"Heh, so I've been told." Moran said with a cheeky grin and wink.

Fred scrunched up his face and gagged.

"You are disgusting!" Fred said.

"Hey, I didn't say anything," Moran said, "You're the one who thought of that with your own dirty lil' mind."

Fred groaned and rolled his eyes.

"You are insufferable." Fred muttered.

Moran couldn't help but smile at Fred's annoyed face.

"Oi, Fred. Don't look so gloomy," Moran said, poking the kid's side, "Lighten up!"

Moran's gesture made the young master of disguise inhale sharply and protect his side.

"D-Don't do that!" Fred said, starting to panic, even though his deadpanned expression never left his face.

"Don't do what?" Moran asked, playing dumb, "Don't do this?"

Moran then started poking all over Fred's side and stomach, making the young man snicker and back away from the sharpshooter.

"Y-Yehehes! Don't!" Fred said, letting a giggle escape.

Moran's grin couldn't be more sinister. The sharpshooter took one step toward Fred, making the kid take three steps back.

"What's wrong, kid?" Moran asked, taking another step forward.

"M-Moran, I'm warning you," Fred said, "D-Don't!"

When Fred felt his back against the wall, his heart sank as Moran advanced on him.

"What do I do?" Fred panicked.

When Fred saw that the room's door was wide open, he glanced at Moran to see him getting closer. It was a long shot, but since he was small and agile, Fred could escape Moran's wrath. Fred took a deep breath before bolting towards the door. When Moran reached out his hand to grab to young man's scarf, Fred slid under his arm and ran out of the door.

"You're gonna have to do better than that!" Fred called out.

Moran chuckled to himself, hearing the smile on the kid's face.

"Now, this is gonna be fun!" Moran said, sprinting out of the room.

When Fred arrived in the sitting room, he saw the Moriarty Brothers sitting around drinking tea and reading the paper. William turned to the kid and tilted his head.

"Fred? What's the matter?" William asked, setting the newspaper down, "Why are you so out of breath?"

"It's... It's Moran," Fred panted, "He's trying to..."

"What is he trying to do?" Louis asked, placing his teacup down.

"I need to hide, now!"

The Moriarty Brothers glanced at one another and smirked. They knew Moran's antics well, so they knew what was coming.

"Gotcha!" Moran cried from behind, scooping up the young man.

The master of disguise let out a yelp when he felt a pair of strong arms wrap around him from behind.

"No! Moran, let me go!" Fred panicked, feeling a smile tug on his lips.

"No way! Not until I see a bona fide smile on your face!" Moran said before digging into the young man's sides.

Fred yelped before dissolving into adorable giggles.

"Morahahahahan, you bruhuhuhute!" Fred giggled, "Lemme gohohoho!"

"Ah, there it is!" Moran chuckled, "There's that smile of yours!"

Fred jerked his body left and right but couldn't escape Moran's tickly grip.

"Wihihihilliahaham! Louihihihis!" Fred giggled, "Albehehert! Plehehease, make him stohohohop!"

Fred's giggles escalated when Moran's hands traveled upward, hitting a sensitive spot below the young man's armpit.

"Plehehehase! Moran, plehehehase!" Fred begged.

"Please, what, Fred?" Moran deadpanned, "Please go for your armpits? If you insist, kid!"

When Moran dug into the young man's armpits, Fred wheezed before dropping to the ground, making the other four men chuckle. Moran rolled his eyes and followed the kid down.

"Well, this is certainly a start to the afternoon." Louis commented.

William and Albert agreed as they watched Fred pound his fist against the carpeted floor in ticklish agony.

"MORAAAAHAHAHAHAN! AHAHAHEHEHE!" Fred cried, "STOHOHOHOP!"

Moran chuckled as he continued to torment the young master of disguise. A sympathetic look crossed Louis' face before he sighed. Standing up from the couch, he walked over to the pair and grinned.

"Don't worry, Fred, I'll help you." Louis said, walking behind Moran.

To the young man's luck and the sharpshooter's misfortune, Louis started digging into Moran's sides, causing the older man to yelp and let go of Fred.

"Oi, Louihihihihihis! Cut it ohohohout!" Moran giggled.

"I don't see what the problem is, Moran," Louis chuckled, "Since you like tickling others so much, I just thought you'd like getting tickled as well."

Louis' casual teasing made Moran clutch his stomach and let out a deep giggle. Fred panted as he backed away from Moran, not wanting to endure his tickles again.

"Are you alright there, Fred?" Albert asked.

"Y-Yeah... I'll be fine..." Fred panted before standing up, "But I'll be even better getting my revenge!"

Fred dashed over to Louis and Moran and joined the youngest Moriarty Brother in tormenting the sharpshooter.

"Frehehehed! Not you, tohohohohoo!" Moran giggled out, "Come ohohohohon!"

"Payback time, you prick!" Fred said boldly.

Moran growled through his giggle-fit, trying to twist away from the others' hands. With a shred of concentration, Moran reached behind him and started attacking Louis' sides, causing the blonde to stop his assault and laugh.

"No, nohohoho! Plehehehase don't!" Louis giggled, quick to beg.

"Dohohon't like whehehehen it's hahahahappenin' to yoohohou, huh?" Moran questioned, still giggling from Fred's tickles.

To Fred's surprise, the sharpshooter managed to grab both of his hands with one and used his others to torment Louis.

"Morahahahahan! Plehehehase stohohop!" Louis begged, "I'm tohohohoo tihihicklihihish!"

"Works for me, Louis-boy!" Moran chuckled.

Fred struggled to break free from Moran's grip on his wrists, his smile never faltering. The young master of disguise looked at the other Moriarty Brothers to see them watching the scene before them with amused looks.

"Aren't you going to help out Louis?" Fred questioned.

"We will give it time," Albert said, walking up to Fred, "Or, I could just go after you."

Fred's eyes widened when he saw a mischievous glint in Albert's emerald eyes.

"A-Albert, don't you dahahare!" Fred said, giggling nervously.

Fred struggled against Moran's grip, dreading the fact he felt the sharpshooter's grip get tighter.

"Oh, I dare," Albert said, "For I am the Lord of Crimes!"

Albert grinned before clawing at Fred's ribs, causing the young man to giggle and squirm.

"Nohohoho! Albehehehehert!" Fred giggled, "That's not fahahahair!"

"All's fair in love and war, my dear boy." Albert said.

The sound of laughter bounced off the wallpapered walls.

"MOHOHOHORAAHAHAAN! NOT THEHEHEHERE!" Louis cried when Moran started attacking his stomach.

"That's right! Laugh for me, Moriarty!" Moran declared.

And laugh Louis did. He tried to push himself up, but Moran kept him down with just his hand attacking his worst spot.

"Albert, plehehehase!" Fred pleaded, "I've hahahahad enough for todahahahahay!"

"I highly doubt that," Albert deadpanned, "And besides, you're having fun, aren't you?"

A soft blush appeared on Fred's cheeks. That was enough for Albert.

"Williahahahahaham! Help meheheheee!" Fred cried, still tugging at his wrists.

"NOHOHOHO! HELP MEHEHEHEHE!" Louis laughed.

The elder Moriarty Brother chuckled and shook his head fondly. Though he would never admit it out loud, he loved seeing his friends and brothers like this, smiling and laughing without a care in the world. It reminded him of what he, Albert, and Louis used to do whenever they were alone and weren't interrupted by their parents or brother. Fred's sudden yelp brought the scarlet-eyed killer out of his thoughts.

"ALBEHEHEHERT! HEHEHEHAHAHAHAA! *snort* NOHOHOHO!" Fred laughed, "NOT THEHEHEHERE! PLEHEHEHEASE!"

Albert only chuckled as he attacked the young man's armpits. William dragged out a sigh before standing. He crept over behind Albert before clawing his fingers into his brother's armpits. The emerald-eyed killer yelped before dissolving into handsome giggles. He tried to press his arms to his side, but he was only pushing William's fingers deeper into their target.

"Brotheheheheher, nohohoho!" Albert giggled, twisting from side to side, "Get ohohohohout!"

"I'm afraid I am unable to, brother," William said casually, "You trapped my hands, so I have no choice but to tickle you here. A shame, really."

Albert crumbled and hugged himself, succumbing to his brother's tickles. Fred eventually dislodged his wrists from Moran's grip and decided to help the youngest Moriarty Brother. The young man jumped onto the sharpshooter's back and attacked his lower stomach, causing the sharpshooter to cackle and stop tickling Louis, leaving the other scarlet-eyed killer breathless.

"Fred, yohohohohou little brahahaht!" Moran giggled, "Stohohohop!"

"No way!" Fred said, "Not only did you tickle me, but you held me in place for Albert to do the same!"

"Then you shohohohould be gehehehetting hihihihihim, not mehehehehe!"

"Eh, William's got that covered."

The young master of disguise looked over his shoulder to see Albert curled up into a giggling ball as the elder Moriarty Brother attacked his torso.

"Williahahahaham! Nohohohohoho mohohore!" Albert giggled.

"What was that? Did you want more?" William asked, "Well, since you asked so nicely..."

When William massaged his thumbs into Albert's hips, the emerald-eyed killer bucked and let out handsome and frantic laughter.

"YOHOHOHOHOU PRIHIHIHIHICK!" Albert cried, "YOU'LL PAHAHAHAAY FOR THIHIHIHIS! WILLIAHAHAHAHAM!"

"Oi, Louis," Fred called out, halting his assault, "Want to get some revenge on Moran?"

When Louis sat up, Moran shuddered when he saw a glint of mischief in those scarlet eyes.

"Thought you'd never ask." Louis said.

The youngest Moriarty Brother lunged at the sharpshooter, tackling him to the ground. Fred moved back before laughing at Moran's bewildered face.

"Take this!" Louis declared, attacking the sharpshooter's stomach.

Moran yelped before dissolving into deep giggles.

"Louihihihihis, stohohohop!" Moran said, "Plehehehase!"

"Not a chance," Louis said, "Fred, help me out!"

Eager to get his own revenge, Fred rushed over and started attacking the sharpshooter's sides, causing Moran to buck and giggle louder.

"You prihihihihihicks! Stohohohop ihihihit!" Moran cried.

"No way!" Louis chuckled, squeezing Moran's thigh.

The sharpshooter kicked his leg out and cackled.

"YOU BAHAHAHAHSTAHAHARD! NOT THEHEHEHRE!" Moran laughed.

"Now we're gettin' somewhere!" Fred said.

"GET OHOHOHOHOFF! AHAHAHAHAAAAHEHEHE!"

Cutting back to William and Albert, laughter lurked, but it wasn't Albert's this time.

"Albehehehert! Plehehehehehehase!" William cried from underneath Albert, "Let me uhuhuhuhup!"

"Apologies, dear brother, but I cannot," Albert said, "How does that old saying go again? Ah, yes! Equivalent exchange!"

Albert had straddled his brother when he saw an opening during his torment. William laughed into the carpeted floor, pounding his fists in ticklish agony.

"Enohohohough! Make it stohohohohop!" William begged.

"Not until you're laughing as hard as you made me." Albert said, gently squeezing his brother's calves.

William yelped before letting out high-pitched shrieks and laughter.

"NAHAHAAAAA! NOT THEHEHEHERE! ALBEHEHEHERT!" William laughed, "NAHAHAHAAAA! *snort* STOHOHOHOHOP!"

"Did you just snort?" Albert asked, utterly amused.

William felt his face grow hot as he buried his face in his hands, utterly embarrassed that he snorted, in front of Albert, no less. William knew he wasn't going to live that moment down. William kicked out his legs to try and shake off Albert, but his attempts were futile.

Cutting back to the other three, Moran managed to turn the tables and take down the other two by attacking their worst spots.

"MORAHAHAHAHAN! AHAHAHEHEHE! *snort* NAHAHAHA!" Fred laughed, "PLEHEHEHASE STAHAHAP!"

"YOU BASTAHAHAHARD! ENOHOHOHOUGH!" Louis cried, squirming under Moran's touch.

For the next few minutes, the tickle fights went on. To any passerby, this would be a true spectacle, but between the Moriarty gang, this was a regular thing. After what felt like forever, the five men were sprawled out across the floor, panting and giggling softly.

"Hohohow did we come to thihihis?" Louis questioned with a giggle.

"Because of thihihis prihihick." Fred giggled, poking Moran's side.

Moran inhaled sharply before grabbing Fred's hand.

"Nohoho more," Moran said as he released the young man's hand, "For real, this tihihime."

William giggled softly as he ran a hand through his disheveled blonde hair.

"I didn't know you could be so ruthless, Albert." William said.

"Well, I learned from the best." Albert said with a smile.

The scarlet-eyed killer smiled and playfully punched his brother's shoulder.

"I don't know about you, but I am tired." Moran said with a yawn.

"Yeah, all that laughing made me tired as well." Louis said as he removed his glasses.

The other three silently yawned and agreed. After getting comfortable, the five men fell asleep. William rested on Albert's stomach while Albert laid his head on Moran's shoulder. Louis rested his head on Moran's stomach, and Fred rested on his chest. Moran rested his head atop Albert's head with his arms draped over his newfound family. A family. Yeah, that's what these guys were. They weren't a crime consulting organization; they were a family. And they intended to keep it that way.

haiii i’m doing okay actually.. college is a horror but we persist. so firstly, i have a LOTTTTT of stuff i really enjoy and no real fixed tastes, except that i don’t like romance-centred plots. i love gothic literature and detective fiction mostly but i’ve been getting into memoirs too etc etc let me get into it

so, FIRST OF ALL i really like sherlock holmes. i grew up on it so it’s given me a taste for cozy mysteries in general and the occasional hardboiled crime/espionage novel. it’s my all-time favourite series but i also have quite a few adaptations i enjoy and return to

- Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle (the original canon, cozy detective fiction)

- Charlotte Holmes by Brittany Cavallaro (a young adult series with 4 books)

- the 1940s Sherlock Holmes movies with Basil Rathbone (all on youtube, btw, a great way to pass the time)

- Moriarty the Patriot (manga series, with 1 season of animation, one of my ALL-TIME favourite adaptation ever)

- Enola Holmes (the book series, but the movies are also really fun)

- Sherlock & Co. (ANOTHER FAVOURITE. and a classic. a podcast too, set in the 21st century and by far, my favourite adaptation of the original stories and just wonderful)

I figured I'd have to re-organize the lineups last minute because I read online regarding educational and informational anime, and I can confirm Laid-Back Camp is one of them. From the broadcast of Episode 3 onwards, it will be given the "Illuminating Television"* makeover complete with the curriculum board bumper and the "Now & Then" menu bumpers set at the Otonokizaka High School campus.

Illuminating Television is the brand name for educational and informational (E/I) programming. Originally, ABC's One Saturday Morning used such branding, and I am carrying it on for my tribute SatAM cartoon block, Toon Time Theater.

Also, I had to add back ONE PIECE considering the anime's 25th anniversary. Sorry DRAGON BALL Z KAI fans, but I plan to add the latter to T3 Express later down the road.
