"Filled out that paperwork shit," Mika mentioned, lounging on the couch while plucking on her guitar. "It's on the counter." "Good girl," Gabriel replied, getting a laugh from her. "Dude, if you start calling me that outside of sex, I'll get even more randomly horny, is that what you want?" He just chuckled, not commenting on that, when he returned from the kitchen, stack of papers in hand, scanning over it. They had their city hall appointment tomorrow to get whatever license stuff they needed for the wedding next week. Mika watched him inconspicuously, waiting for a reaction - and there it was, the tiniest eyebrow twitch. "You sure?" he asked nonchalantly, not even specifying that any further, of course she knew what he was getting at. He couldn't hide his excitement completely, and she stifled a grin. "Don't make a thing out of it, or I'll change my mind," she replied playfully, sticking out her tongue. Just because they were getting married didn't mean she had to stop being a brat, that was simply too ingrained. He chuckled, shrugging. That answer was good enough, it seemed. "I wouldn't dare… Mrs. Wallace." "Oh, shut up," she laughed, shaking her head. It's not like she was super attached to her name anyway, and she knew how happy it would make him. So, Mika Jacobson Wallace it was. He would be fucking insufferable about it for at least a week, but for once she intended to indulge that corny old man.
