Got SUPER BUSY today and didn't have time for a video but we are trucking along :> If you are new to my page I am doing a frame redraw from a scene in Longlegs each day for inktober and animating them as a flipbook. inktober (kinda) drawing day 1 -> eyes without a face

ok so no promises that i'll actually post every day, but i wanted to do an informal kinda inktober where i sketched various of the horror/thriller/etc things i'm planning on watching in october

starting with the french horror film 'eyes without a face' which i really enjoyed! def not my fav old horror, but definitely still very creepy and interesting lol

I thought it'd be cute to make a sort of parallel drawing to an older one, especially since it ties very nicely into their arcs (especially Rin's)

Got sucked back into Warframe after a year and a half break. Here's some old stuff from a few years back when I was hardcore invested with headcannons and theories and a lot of salt about ESO.

The ink pieces were done for WF Inktober a few years back. I wound up being too busy to complete more than 8 or so days. The triptych at the end was going to be submitted for the art show for Tennocon one year, featuring my favourite frame and the favourite frames of my fellow ninjas, but I was beginning to get burned out on WF and mounting disappointments from the dev team before it could be finished.

Specific context for the """newd""" Limbo: the idea behind this and the Volt equivalent was related to Warframe construction and the possibility of errors resulting from genetic processing, re: reading errors from the component blueprints that could alter the structure of sword steel. Both of these were related to an "Anatomy of a Warframe" theoretical biology essay that would be hosted on my site, breaking down how a frame worked as an organism. I'm admittedly more concerned about addressing my backlog of farmables than worldbuilding at present, but once the checklist gets its due mind I might revisit the idea.

Not a regular art summary, but here's a compilation of every drawing from my 2024 weekly Metal challenge!! It's satisfying looking at all of them together :]

I DID IT!! I'M FREE!!!

Well, my self imposed challenge maybe over, but I'll definitely keep drawing Metal!!! I love him even more than I did at the beginning of the year somehow

I got a little burnt out near the end but I'm proud of myself for finishing it!!! I've never rlly managed to complete art challenges like this (like ship weeks or any sort of inktober type thing) but doing smth once a week was more doable, if still a bit stressful. I think I've drawn more this year than I ever have in previous years, and my goal of being more comfortable with drawing Metal Sonic has been reached!! With the added bonus of people now associating me with him :D

With that said, I'm probably going to take a bit of a break from drawing. Not long - like maybe a month (if that). There's some other things I want to concentrate on! But I'm still here, and my ask box is always open (I will do my best to answer all the old asks still sitting in there too skfjgjdh)
