I think that thanks to the trailer and for the informations Ubisoft gave us so far, it woke up pretty much every AC fans who were silent/dead/hopeless. And I wouldn't want it in any other way.
NOW! On more important stuff, who wants to join the Basimps? We can whore, giggle, blush and kick our feet while simping over him

thoughts on basim :-)
ask for my thoughts on ______
oh my goddd autumn <3 <3
i don't even know where to start.
sadly, we don't get to know much about his past. I would've liked to see that, both as a history nerd (islamic golden age helloooo) and a basimp. i hope every day for a dlc that will never come
the moment he and hytham showed up at the docks in valhalla, i wanted to know more about him. the levantine assassin robes got me. then he gave eivor the hidden blade-- with that little knowing smile --and I lost my mind. really started simping when he greeted eivor at knifepoint in oxenefordscire.
his dialogue fluctuates throughout the game between a frustrating amount of pedantic lecturing and genuinely sharing knowledge of the brotherhood and the world. i never knew exactly what he was thinking. and at the same time, he showed himself to be an incredible fighter and intent on leading sigurd into this convoluted maze of prophecy and mythology. beautiful and insane.. how does he do it?? obsessed.
then the campfire scene-- this beautifully done moment of vulnerability concluded with those sad yet ominous words "a man you trust with anything can take everything." i wanted nothing more than to leap across that fire and kiss the sad dilf
after rescuing sigurd, I wish we could've seen more of basim. a confirmation of the bond he'd built with eivor. ANY scene interacting with hytham.
the betrayal was not a surprise to me but it still hurt. it hurt bc of the bond he'd built with eivor, and bc he seemed happy to leave behind everything for revenge (what about hytham?). that said, knowing his true motives makes it painfully more complex then a simple case of basim stabbing eivor in the back. and what was that fight scene??? the dialogue was so personal and dare I say flirtatious??
in the modern world,, i scream about his sense of fashion but let's be real he could get it. and im so intrigued in the modern storyline now, for the first time since desmond!! what will basim do from here?? is he really aligned with the assassins? why did he actively pursue the bleeding effect?? so much opportunity here I hope ubisoft doesn't waste it
I am so sorry for talking this much
