One more Moonstone redesign to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the show this year!

I wanted to clean up the details and the general style I use for him to make something more in line with the show. I always kind of struggled with his hair, but I think I have the hang of it this time. I want it to look kind of like a comet.

In the main series, Moonstone would oversee a White Diamond colony that detains wayward gems, develops new tech and scouts potential locations for new colonies. The rejuvenator was developed at his colony.

In SU future, his colony ceases normal operation and opens as a place of general residence for any gems who need it. He visits earth often and enjoys exploring snowy mountains.

Similar to White Diamond, he can telepathically connect to other gems and alter the data within, be it remotely controlling them or erasing/resetting them altogether.

He was created as a gift from Pink to White while she was campaigning for her own colony, with the intention that more would be produced after Earth was completed. This would never come to pass, so he is currently the only one in existence as the methods used to create Moonstones died with Pink.

Polished my gemsona in 2020 but never shared. Anyway, moonstone, kinda happy the show ended up establishing a skill of moonstone gems: invisibility. That works for me because being perceived is a pain 8,D

Crystals: Gems that work as sorcerer/mages and simply help and protect elite gems

Covellite: Ballerinas for elite gems, that usually are coordinated by powerful gems

Rhodochrosite: Organize and decorate gardens for elite gems, they can make little gems called petalites to help her out.

Laguna Agates: like any other agate, she’s responsible for organizing and keeping quartzes at bay

Amber: They use their sap powers to collect and hunt organic life forms.

Turquoise: They organize courts and tries to make everything organized for bigger events

Andesine: She uses her sand and fire powers to create glass pieces for elite gems

Aventurine: She’s a copycat, copying abilities of organics so they could implement on new types of gems

Iolite: She’s a high rank fortune teller, they are capable of reading auras, make ghosts and any other paranormal events

Onyx: a Long Range Quartz, they use their powers to attack from long distances

Sard: They’re tank quartzes, they have a massive strength and can take any enemy with their great lack of abilities

Azurite: They’re spies that can use their powers to actively disrupt rebels and steal resources from smart organic life forms

Bloodstone: She’s a haunter, she keeps places protected with her ghostly and hallucinating powers for Elite Gems

Pezzotaite: She’s a healer and a stats buffer, she can improve and make any gem better, that’s temporary though, but it’s very useful

Kornerupine: She’s a ring master, responsible to organize gems made for entertainment in order and also use her powers to make spectacles for elites gems

Moonstone: She’s a fusion of a Sea Glass and Angelite, her powers are related to dreams and psychic connections, there’s way more to it but she’s always sleeping

⚤ MAGENTA MORGANITE, LAVENDER SPINEL & BLUE MOONSTONE PERMAFUSION ⚤

Moonstone belonged to Blue's court, this was a highly recognized gem since his work as a spy was very effective; on the other hand, Morganite and Spinel belonged to Pink's court, while Beryl led a normal life doing her work for Homewold, the other didn't have a very good time because they entertained several groups of gems where the only thing they did was to damage them to the point of cracking their gem. By chance of fate, these three gems met in the rebellion (I won't tell details otherwise this story will get longer) and they fought on the side of the Crystal Gems; however, this didn't end very well since their fusion was poofed at the end of the battle, Spinel was captured and the other two had to return to Homeworld, separating. Spinel was taken to the Trial where they were considered a traitor, so they were cracked and put in one of several Clusters; Moonstone continued his spy work, although he was no longer well regarded because he dissociated too much; Morganite was transferred to White's court, where her work was considered too depressive. Would this be the end of it? When Era III arrived, after so many years the two remaining gems met again, forming a fusion and moving to Little Homeschool; at the same time Yellow Diamond was rebuilding her old friend (They has the same cut as Pink's Spinel since this one asked Yellow to make them like that), Spinel upon returning to life decided to tour all the Diamond's Colonies, upon arriving on Earth for obvious reasons they were reunited with their old friends, they ran to hug each other and fuse again; so they promised to become a permafusion and never abandon each other again; this permafusion uses all pronouns and they declare themselves bisexual, that's why the colors; they are in the "AndroFusions" group where few gems that have proven to be true permafusions made of various feelings and emotions, fight to be recognized and respected like any other gem

Another question about Pink’s gem, if we can see it though his back, does that mean it’s flat in front? Usually, in other AUs and such, the pink gem sticks out a little bit in front and we can’t see it through their back. It’s kind of hard to explain without a visual but hopefully you can get what I’m trying to say.

I think I just realized that after all of these years, I never POSTED Eckhart, White, and Pink's model reference sheets! AHHHHHH-

I'm redoing them anyway, but I'm posting these because of the lore section- The discord server had a frenzy trying to decode/guess everything when I posted them there. They were quite successful!

Now its a little outdated with some current lore, but you guys will get the jist of it.

She reminds me too much of Blue Pearl and the palette feels like an absolute mess? I'm hoping it's because of the rendered reference because I could not work with it. Used yellow because I relate yellow to the Crystal Gems (plus going to all blue Homeworld to having a bit of yellow when free feels neat).

Because of Moonstone being revealed on the concept art at some point, I bastardized redrew her to fit that canon. A fusion between her and a ruby? I'd love to see that with this redraw in mind haha. Small fusions my beloved

I assume that the second outfit is a Crystal Gem one (for the kind-of half star). Good outfit! Bad execution, on my opinion. So I redrew it because a good idea is still a good idea regardless of the art-style! ^^
