SOMI is K I L L I N it!

This girl is finally getting the exposure she deserves! The flow of her entire album is so good, and I think we have her producers to thank for that.  The Black Label has a good formula for SOMI, and I think it’s working. 

The album is full of hits, but of course it would be since SOMI has come out with successful singles since she debuted as a solo artist.  Since “Birthday” came out, it’s been hit after hit. Her songs are all contagious, and encapsulates the colorful persona she shows through her music.

“Anymore” was that track I immediately repeated when I finished listening to the song for the first time. This track reminds me of the early 2000′s rom coms I was obsessed with (still obsessed...let’s be real).  This would be the song to play during a montage of the leading lady thinking about her heart break as she drives down the highway with the windows down low.  I am aware that this song is fully in English, but maybe that’s the reason why rom com movies was the first thing I thought of? That’s just my brain though...anything related to the 2000′s brings my back to my teen years.

 I will always have a bias towards tracks that have the early 2000′s feel, so this was my favorite track of the album. The cherry on top is that it has that pop/rock element that completes the early 2000′s package.

back at it again.

Not that I ever gave up tumblr or anything...but I figured to resurrect this blog once again. 

Tumblr used to be my outlet for when I wanted to write about random things in my life, and for some reason I kind of miss that feeling. I have realized that I wanted to write about kpop, but for fun of course! I can talk about kpop for days, so why not right about my thoughts and feelings?
