I'm getting kicked out!

... Yep! I was given a December 31st deadline to move out by my mom's (now ex) boyfriend and was on track to be out in early December, but on Tuesday evening I was kicked out.

It was a pretty ugly scene when I got home. He screamed at me, repeatedly insulted me, and physically threatened me. Even if I had not been actually kicked out, I would not feel safe living with him anymore. This was all essentially over me not dropping everything and immediately coming home to mow the lawn, while I was out looking at the apartment my partner and I were trying to apply for!

I am currently staying in my sister's basement, but it's pretty uncomfortable. I'm working on getting my shit in order, we put in an application for an apartment available 11/6 this morning, but my partner can't move with me yet -- he has one more month on his current lease. So he can't really help with as much as he would've liked. Thankfully, this complex has a promo for a free month's rent with a 16 month lease, but I still was entirely unprepared financially. I thought I had another full month to save up for this.

I'm disabled and working part-time, but it's not very much money, and.. I spent most of my October pay on household things we will need. I'm trying to pool help from family, but none of us are in great financial situations, so.. I'm hoping that maybe I can get a little outside help, too. I would be immensely grateful.

I'm still fundraising for Oliver!

He's been on treatment for just over one week now and it's going well so far. He's clearly still feeling unwell but seems much more himself, and he's been eating well again. However, he's a big boy (12 lbs currently, and quite underweight there) and his dosage for injections was large enough I had to give it in two injections. The treatment is, to my understanding, pretty strong and burns going in, so one shot was hard and the second shot was a battle every time.

I've changed him to the pills but they're a bit more expensive. I'm looking at $1,200 min for the full treatment cycle. I'm hoping to raise at least a bit more than that, to use for any supplies I may need (ie pill pockets) and put towards the blood tests he's going to need throughout treatment.

hello! I'm still dealing with troubles with my boy Oliver. Oliver's diabetes is proving difficult to get under control and as a result he's been going to the bathroom on the floor. I'm doing everything I can to get his diabetes managed but it's going to take time.

in the meantime, I'm trying to mitigate the issue with diapers and let him retain some freedom (I had him confined to the bathroom for several days before this) without risking damage to the house, which is not mine, and without risking my living situation. the solution at the moment is diapers and a cat onesie to keep him from removing them, which are.. both kind of expensive. and I am still living off disability. the cat diapers came out to $1.50 each, and I'm going to buy human diapers next time and cut holes instead, but I'm gonna need at least one other onesie to alternate between and that one was about $15

I'm not starting a formal fundraiser for this for many reasons but if anyone is feeling generous I would appreciate any help with these supplies

Hi did you change your username? I don't recognize you?

I did a while back! was handsomesorcerer from like 2015 until.. uhhh I really don't know exactly when I changed honestly. it was in the last year or two somewhere. I started changing usernames to have some consistency across sites (where I want to, at least) and I've been using moonlightmenace / variations of it for a little under two years. I don't remember specifically when tho. but my icon used to be variants of my other 'sona for a good while if that helps at all

prior to 2015 I changed usernames a lot but I don't think a whole lot of folks who would remember many of those are still around

i’ve had this one since 2013 but i used to change it all the time. no doubt not as fun anymore, bc i am aware that all of my former urls  are now taken except for the single one i held onto (p-body) and it wasn’t hard to get a less direct reference to something back then but….. 

it feels kinda done, referencing handsome jack in the year of our lord 2021. esp when the majority demographic still into that scene is rh*ck shippers and i am not
