it's been said so many times before, but fourth is absolutely bodying his role as li ming. in every fight scene he has with uncle jim, there's this haunting look of resignation in his eyes underlying the sparks of anger, this dark sort of hollowness that forces you to recognize that li ming isn't some naive, angsty teenager; he's a boy who has grown up short on everything - money, tenderness, freedom. i keep thinking about li ming saying he never asked to be born. he never asked for any of it - the hardship of growing up in poverty, the expectations of his absent mother and closed-off uncle, the terrible realization that the world will not be kind to you, that it does not value the existence of people like you. and somehow, fourth conveys all of this with his eyes. it's just incredible.

The choice of having Cáit’s dad speak exclusively English despite living in a Gaeilge speaking region, and the fact that his whole family speaks Gaeilge all the time too unless they’re talking to him, was brilliant. It was a subtle way to show how he isolates himself from the people around him, as well as his own self-loathing.

I had a great dream last night. The actual dream is a bit hazy but the concept was golden to me. Fazbear realizes there is a market for adults who are into animatronics. And despite them usually being pretty money grubbing, they go all in this idea. They make new animatronic copies of their stars (murder is one thing, but robots being nsfw around kids is a whole another ball game) and by a popular vote, also the dca. Like no seriously, so many people put them in the other suggestions that it kind of had to happen.

Anyway. This leads to dca Sunrise to meeting his After Dark counterpart Sunshine. The two got along fairly well. Moondrop and Moonlight however spent the time glaring at the one another while 'protecting' their respective suns. There was hissing and fake out swipes but no damage was given or received.
